I took a few pics of our tree with some presents under it. A lot of the gifts are out in the rec room. Once under the tree, it'll be jam-packed (between my dad and step-mom, there are 6 kids and 2 grandkids)

I gotta work early tomorrow in the photo lab. I did the same thing today, only I was hardly in the lab. It's been down since Sunday and we needed a part for the printing machine, but when the part finally came in, it wasn't the right one, so they had to go and get it from our repair guy who was at another store while another store manager came and helped us install it.

The machine worked for, like, 20 minutes before the the grandaddy of all paper jams took place. The repair guy was working on it when I left, so I may be busy tomorrow. The next day I work late in Cosmetics, and then it's Christmas! This'll be my third late Christmas Eve, but that's okay. I'd much rather stay up late and sleep in rather than wake up excruciatingly early and wait for present-time.

But; payday on Wednesday is a bonus for the workweek. I'll be working in the photo lab that day. I still get nervous about working over there

Meanwhile, I'm getting excited for KH: Birth By Sleep, especially since one of the trailers currently has Ansem the Wise's voice!

I also just learned earlier that JumpFesta is going on and there's a trailer with little Lea (AKA Axel's somebody). Meh. I'm not all that thrilled about that.

Repairs just got finished and I owe $364.08 XD Which isn't bad considering parts and labor. So I finally get my trusty car back! Although I hafta admit, the little Neon that I've been driving has been a swell ride ^^

In other news, Saturday marked one year of me getting cut from Target XD I do miss being in there and seeing all the really cool things they sell.

Now alls I gotsta do is sharpen them XD

In the meantime, I'm mostly done with Christmas shopping. Speaking of ~cherryhobbit and ~shortysbonsai, I gave them two of their main gifts today simply because they knew what they were and I bought them with them XD I bought Cherry a wacom tablet (the same model as mine) and Bonsai got a special controller for the Wii he's getting on Christmas.

So far I've managed to get gifts for my mom, dad, stepmom, stepdad (who's birthday FALLS on Christmas), grandmother, both older sisters, ~shortysbonsai, a stepsister (there was only one stepsibling in which I had any idea of what to get), an uncle (same with him), and, hey ~anya1751, I got something for you too!

Now I just hafta wrap them.

In other news, my car is in the shop T_T Just in time for Christmas. However, we have an extra car that I can use until it's fixed.

Ugh, I hafta work early tomorrow; and it's truck day; and I hafta be in the photo lab. Urrg. At least I work in Cos. on Friday and then I have Saturday off and I have Christmas off!

I also got to meet Morris, the kitty. Also known as 'Mo', or 'Cat'. XD He was a bundle of energy, and is super adorable. I got some pictures of him on my phone (because I forgot my camera DX); he's like a miniature of their previous cat.

Around 2, My grandma and one of my uncles had to go to the store, and before they left, she came up to me and said 'If I don't see you again before you leave, here's some traveling money', and she handed me $25 ^^

After they left, I watched a little bit of Bolt with my other uncle (Who's a cartoon lover), but at 2 I went to my mom's house, where my stepdad was hanging out and my mom was set to come home from work within a few minutes. I got to see Sheba, who's excitement consisted of 'rub my belly, NOW, please.'

Once my mom came home, I gave her her VERY belated birthday card and presents. Then we decided to skip having turkey leftovers for dinner and opted to go to one of our favorite spots, El Toro Loco, the local Mexican resturaunt ^^ My stepdad doesn't like Mexican food, so we got him some Chinese food afterwards XD

Ohhh... Toro Loco still makes a mean shrimp chimichanga...

Afterwards, when mom and I went to go get my stepdad's food and wait for it to cook, we went to Big Lots to see what kind of stuff they had. I found a few things to snatch, like a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer-themed hot cocoa set, some minty cookies, and an Ohio State Santa hat.

After shopping and returning dinner to my stepdad, mom and I went back to my grandma's. Morris was nowhere to be found ( I wanted to see him more), but I got to chat with grandma and one of my uncles more. Around 4:30, my dad called and asked if I was ready to go. I wanted to stay, but he wanted to go visit one of his brothers before leaving, so I decided to head on out. I was surprised when dad came and he and mom chatted for a few minutes (which is rare) about an old schoolmate that dad had just seen.

Aftwerwards, we drove through the country (I mean country, like, Amish central), dad got something to eat at a little shake shop and I got a milkshake, and went to my uncle's house. He and my aunt were setting up Christmas decorations. I love this house they live in. I think my uncle built it (along with some help from other guys). The outside is gorgeous and I've been in it once, but that was a couple years ago. Dad and him chatted outside, in the cold, for about an hour (I stood around, this is normal), and we finally got on the road. I felt bad because my dad was the one driving for 3-4 hours while I'm in the passenger-side seat about to fall asleep

But we finally made it home safely. I hafta work today T_T But I have tomorrow off, so that's cool. Hey, Cherry, were we still wanting to hang out tomorrow?

I got to work today. Joy. Black Friday is so ridiculous, but I guess it wasn't that bad considering last year I was at Target and I had NO IDEA where anything was that people wanted. I currently have quite the schedule for about a week; work a day, off a day, work a day, off a day, work a day, off a day... Yeah.

Last night I decided to just go onto YouTube and watch the 358/2 Days cutscenes. I've barely played it, so I thought 'what the hey' and looked them up. Riku's so cute ^^

Has anyone seen the new scans with Braig and tiny tiny _TINYYY Ienzo? They've shown Radiant Garden during BBS and several other apprentices... But I wanna know where Ansem the Wise is!!

Our gang had originally intended to go to Six Flags the day after Halloween, but due to chilly weather and lack of interest, we chose to just have a day out. We went to Best Buy and the mall, and that's how I got my tablet ^^

I'm having fun. I actually started trying to make a little animation on it last night. It doesn't have animation software. I'm just taking a picture and moving slightly, saving each frame and putting it on Windows Movie Maker. It's kinda ehh right now, but with a little work, it might look okay.

Went to Hard Rock Cafe tonight ^^ Last night my dad told me that my stepmom's folks were planning on doing a barbecue, so when he called me down to head out this afternoon, I grabbed my sketchbooks, but when he asked my stepmom about 'a quick visit with her parents on the way back', I got confused. I asked them if we were still going to their house, but my stepmom said we were going to Hard Rock. It was a surprise, but I was all for it! I guess plans got changed and my dad didn't wanna miss out on the nice weather we've been having.

Today was another day. I worked late last night, got back up around 7 this morning (My stepmom made pancakes ^^) and went to work in the photo lab.

I was super nervous, but it went better than I thought, even though I was slow as a snail getting the machines up and running and we were having trouble with our computer, but as soon as it got fixed the day went pretty smoothly and I was kept busy. And I didn't have to make any passport photos ^^

Not much going on. I've changed my Halloween costume. I'm gonna play up the vampire look so I can wear my silly batty headband ^^ I work early on Halloween, so that means I can hang out with ~cherryhobbit and the gang later in the day, and then the next day we're all going to Six Flags for the last day of Fright Night! I think it's also the last day of the Six Flags season in general. I think next year I may try and get a season pass, if only for discounts and junk XD

Speaking of big purchases, I think I'm gonna save up to try and buy a wacom tablet. They sell them at Best Buy and I'm itching for a tablet or a photoshop program. As proud as I am of my traditional skills, I really yearn to try out modern technology with my art like the pros. But it may have to wait until after Christmas; gifts and such, you know ^^

Darn... I still need to schedule an eye exam appointment!

Not much going on. I have today off. I got my flu shot yesterday while at work (AKA Walgreens) ^^ I was scared XD I've put it off for a while, but I decided to get it just for peace of mind since I work around so many people. Unfortunately, if I want protection from the H1N1 viruse (which I like to call the 'heinie' virus XD) I need to get a separate vaccine, but my store won't get it until mid-October or so. Other stores have it, though. I'd suggest anyone able to get the vaccines, GET THEM. I was worried it would hurt, but I told myself that 3 seconds of getting a needle stuck in my arm (ew ew ew!) would be worth a year's worth of protection from an icky, painful illness. The pharmacist who did it did really good. She didn't let me look at the process, (Which I'd already seen her conduct it on two other patients, she, like, JABBED the needle into the muscle ; but everyone was saying that they could barely feel it). I felt it, but it didn't hurt. Maybe a quick jab is better as opposed to SLOW INSERTION of a sharp needle. I was giddy for a few seconds after (because it was over, yay!) and could actually feel it kinda dispersing from the area... it was really, REALLY weird. I don't think I've ever had a flu shot before, so that's why I'm being dumb XD

Xemnas: Still boring as ever and out of his gourd. I'll take his Heartless any day of the week.

Xigbar: I've always loved this guy; and I still do ^^ They made him awesomely AWESOME.

Xaldin: Well hi there Admiral Got-a-Stick-Up-Your-Butt!

Vexen: Version 1 of Nagzilla, but he's not as horrible as Larxene. She's just mean about it; Vexen starts to ease up a little as you learn.

Lexeaus: If your name is misspelled, dude, I'm sorry, but I hate spelling your name. Anyway, Lex had a pretty funny part 'teaching' Roxas about Limit Breaks. Too bad he got shanked by Riku before he could have any more decent scenes.

Zexion: ... I've had this game for less than a week and for a while I couldn't remember whether or not I had a mission with this guy. I'm pretty sure I have because I remember his battle cries. I'm not a big fan of Zexion; he's kinda boring to me. I'm not into the 'sexy emo boi' routine. So... Yeah. Later Zexion.

Sai'X: Now my view on Sai'X has softened a little in this game. I've never cared for him, but his actions and words, particularly his private talks with Axel, have me intrigued.

Axel: Boy oh boy. Where to start? I was once a fan of Axel back when CoM came out. But after time, I just didn't care. Even now, one reason I'm not a big fan is because of, surprise! AkuRoku! MAN that junk gets on my nerves, especially when that's ALL that people see to a character. Like I said above, I've never been a big fan of the Organization in general. When they first started arriving on-scene, there was only one villain I wanted to see: Ansem. Anyway... I really don't have a lot to say about Axel. I'm kind of on the fence with him.

Demyx: One guy that I've softened up on a bit. I don't remember my reaction to him at first (I'll admit, the running away bit and notecard gag is cute) but he never really struck a cord with me (no pun intended). Plus I HATED fighting him. I kept dying for, like, a month. I blame that for my lack of interest in him. However, Days might redeem him; even so, I don't see me becoming an uber fangirl of him.

Luxord: PLEASE stop talking about games, cards, players, etc PLEASE OH PLEASE.

Marluxia: I remember back when CoM first came out and Marluxia's hair was light brown. Am I colorblind? Or did anyone else see it like that? Anyway, Marluxia. He scared me in Days because of his niceness and the constant touching around his face and hair...

Larxene: NAGZILLA FINAL FORM. I've always counted Larxene as a cool character. Heck, being the only girl in Org. XIII, I've alwasy rooted for her, even though she was a horrible, horrible person. But MAN. I wanted to slap her in Days.

Roxas: Roxas is Roxas. Plain and simple. He's still emo, but he seems to be a lot more naive than in KH2, probably because he's still 'young'. But even so, I miss Sora.

Xion: Hmm, Not much to say about Xion at this point. I know who and what she is *no spoilers here, though*; so I think I'll have to wait and finish the game to really have an opinion on her.

So... Yeah, I just wasted who knows how long to write this. Because I can.

I have seen DiZ and Riku, which have made me a happy, happy fangirl ^^

BTW, The Deserters? BEST HEARTLESS SPINOFF EVAR. They crack me up ^^

Also, mission 33? That's not a mission. That's some awful, horrible senior prank. I HATED IT.

Other than that, it's a good game. I like the panel system ^^ The only thing I don't care for is the whole RTC system, where you have to finish the mission before you go back to the castle; so if you need a different weapon or something, you have to abort the mission and restart it. T_T There was one mission where I had to abort, like, 4 times because I needed some magic. After 3 times I expected Sai'X to backhand me or something XD

BTW, I applaud Meghean Jette Martin's performance as Namine. She does a very good job taking over.

Today was the last day for the Apple Festival while tomorrow is the last day of my vacation T_T ~cherryhobbit, ~shortysbonsai and I drive home tomorrow.

It's sad, but I gots'ta get back to earning the dough sooner or later. Besides, I gotta get 358/2 Days on Tuesday! Or Wednesday, depending on my scehdule.

I've got a bunch of nice souvenirs, like all my light-up stuffs ^^ It's been a good vacation. I even got one of those 'old western' pictures with Cherry. We were saloon gals XD So as long as I stay at work, next year I think I'll have 10 vacation days! Oh boy oh boy!

I went up to the Apple Festival today. It's still getting set up. I walked around pretty quickly since it was just me and I wanted to see what all they had this year. They have one new ride that I wanna try ^^

All the carnies were yelling at me, trying to get my attention. Mostly because I was wearing an item that if they shouted it out, they would hope that I would turn and look, which turned out to be my Batman purse. They kept yelling 'Hey Batgirl!", hoping that I would turn and want to play their game.

Sorry fellas. 21 years of eperience has taught me well: Just don't make eye contact unless you're REALLY thinking about playing that game ^^

So as I readied to head home, I knew I wanted something to eat. I decided on a funnel cake, which was $5. It looked good; it was big and COVERED with powdered sugar ^^ I couldn't wait to get home and eat it. I nibbled on it as I walked home (and I gave one carnie another visual aid to try and lure me in *"Hey funnel cake girl!"*

Once I got home, I was fishing my key out. I was holding my funnel cake in one hand when it happened: My cake fell. Right out of my hand and onto the concrete porch.

YUM

I threw it away. I was SO MAD that it was wasted. But I'm not gonna throw a hissy fit. I'll be back up at the festival tomorrow at least, and then ~cherryhobbit and ~shortysbonsai will be down Thursday. I don't know if I'll head back up again tonight. Maybe I will, but I can't be for sure.

Vacation tiem!!

Ugghh... I'm so tired. I just got home about 10 minutes ago and it's now 10:49 PM. I should be getting prepared for bed soon since I leave for Ohio early tomorrow morning. I'm pretty much packed. I've got a bunch clothes and stuff to do ^^

Hey, does anyone know any good Prismacolor marker tutorials? I got a 42 pack yesterday and, honestly, I'm in dire need of practice, but I wonder if anyone knows of any good tutorials.

Gosh, I'm so tired... *continues her trademark whining*

BTW, I can't say for sure if I'll be on as much as I normally am for the next week. I don't know if my mom and stepdad have wireless connection, so we'll hafta wait and see. Ciao!

In other news, my 8-day-stretch is over halfway through! I have 3 more days and I work late tomorrow. Huzzah! However, I should wake up early because I need to do laundry and start packing for my vacation. I can't wait, I want festival food! Gyros, Bloomin' Onions, candy apples... Mmmm... Maybe I'll even play a game or two, depending on the prizes... and the darned carnies.

Meanwhile... I'm hungry. I should've eaten dinner, but now it's too late T_T my dad and stepmom are probably in bed by now.

I found out that in my dad and stepmom's room, they get Boomerang. HOLEY CRAP. I got to watch an episode of Johnny Bravo and smile. Given that it was never my favorite show, it was so good to see something classic.

I wish that they wouldn't put good shows that have ended on these graveyard channels that require an extra $25.

So, I finally got a hold of my mom (again). My grandma's still doing well. She's had either 1 or 2 surgeries for her Skin Cancer, and they both went great. She's still not fond of going, though XD She'll nag about it as long as she can.

Ugh, my nose is still stuffed up and such. Even worse is that I started coughing too.

Yesterday was interesting. We have this yearly 'IronMan Triathalon'. It's kind of a pain. At 7 in the morning, contestants (there were over 2400 contestants yesterday O.o) swim in the Ohio River (ewwww...) bike ride for a... while, and then run. It's, like, 170 miles in total and the winner clocked in at 8 hours and something...

Anyway, where I work is right next to the bike path. Traffic was backed up for HOURS and second shift was about 20 minutes late. On the upside, there weren't a lot of customers

Going home wasn't as bad as I thought. Even though the bikers were on their return lap, I think it was starting to die down. Cops were directing traffic, so that made it a little easier. Another plus was that it was a beautiful day for the event. There was a windchill though, but MAN it was nice... and I had to miss it (sob). I came home, got on the computer, listened to some music, and then took a nap. So... Yeah, I totally wasted it XD

The worst part of it all is during the summer when bicyclists are training, or just biking. Especially on the highway, where the speed limit is 45 and they're only going, what, 15? 20? Ugh... I'm sorry, but I wish there were bike paths somewhere. I hate getting stuck behind a cyclist.

I have today off. Trying to figure out what to do. I work for the next four days and I'm off Saturday. It's possible that I may get a ride to Ohio for my vacation via my dad. I was gonna get a GPS and drive myself so that I would have my car to get around in, but I'm still unsure. I do know that for vacation I'd like to get a digital camera. I don't have one XD I'm so behind. I don't even have my own cell phone yet.

This just in, Luna wastes money like woah.

I'm totally rambling and enjoying it. I'm still tired. My cereal bowl is standing in front of me, all empty-like and now I'm thirsty. I wanna go grocery shopping, but I don't think there's enough room in thre fridge for me to get stuff. Unless I bought all frozen meals and stuffed them in the big freezer in the rec room... That could work... But I may wait until payday. I'm running low on funds, and I wanna save money for Apple Festival ^^

I can't wait for my vacation. My mom's been asking me, ~cherryhobbit and ~shortysbonsai what we would like her to cook while we're there. The menu so far consists of her special Vegetable stew, chili, ribs, I suggested sloppy joe's the other day... MAN I can't wait. I miss my momma's cooking. Add Apple Festival food onto the plate and when I come home, I may need new pants XD Pace yourself, Luna.

Still trying to figure out what I wanna do for Halloween, although it's possible that I may use an idea that I had last year: a jedi bunny.

We JUST got them Tuesday after a couple sending mix-ups XD So yesterday, my day off, I decided to do a bit of shopping at Target. While there, I discovered that they had Nintendo DSLites on sale for $99. So I snagged me a pink one XD

Meanwhile, I still haven't found my PSP. It's been missing for nearly two months now and I've feared the worst that it's pretty much been lost somewhere, somehow. However, my sister's boyfriend, ~shortysbonsai was selling one with all sorts of accessories and several games for $200; so I decided to buy it today. Before I came home, I stopped by Gamestop and bought a new Crisis Core game *because my missing one has my Crisis Core *sob** and I bought a used Brain Age game to play on my DSLite.

I knew my 'Brain Age' would be something awful XD

Well, in other news; I FINALLY got a hold of my mom on the phone today. Their home phone service got bad a while ago. They ended up buying a Magic Jack, but when they downloaded it, their computer got a virus XD She has a cell phone, but she's so not used to it that she is just now getting used to turning it on after work.

I was able to get an update on my grandmother, who I learned several weeks ago has Stage 2 Skin Cancer. She's doing well and is up for a procedure soon. From what my mom tells me, my grandma's still in good health, enough to not really care about these procedures. She's a stubborn old lady who just says 'Oh, P-shaw" to stuff. Even so, she'll be all right ^^ They caught it early and, like I said, she won't go down without a fight. She's lived through World War II, 8 kids, and who knows what else XD She's a tough ol' bean.

Sadly, I did learn that her cat, Flash, passed away. He wasn't doing too well for a while and his back legs were giving out. He was going on 10 years old. I'll miss that grumpy ol' man-boy cat XD

Man, now I gotta think of something happy.

Well, I work early tomorrow. Thankfully I have Saturday off, but then I have another 6-day-stretch; BUT then I have the weekend off ^^ I don't wanna get up early tomorrow, but money's money.

Not much going on. Today's my day off; I just finished a 6-day-stretch. I plan on paying my credit card balance later, and then use it for groceries. Now where should I shop? Kroger or Meijer? Hmmm...

I might also be doing something with ~cherryhobbit and ~anya1751. Cherry was saying that they were going somewhere a few days ago and offered for me to go, now I just need to get a time and see if the gig's still on.

Not much else going on. I worked in the photo lab at work for the first time the other day and my manager said I did really well . I've still got a few things to work on, but a good review is all that I need!

I work early tomorrow and Sunday, but then I have Monday off. My next two day break isn't for a week or so.

I wish I had more money T_T Don't we all? I had to pay my dad a good hundred; but it was my car insurance and a return for the new spark plugs and stuff he bought for my car, which was acting up earlier this week, so I had to pay him back.

Oh, well. I need to watch my spending anyway. Now I actually have to live up to that saying T_T

It's been raining pretty hard for a few days on and off. I drove here to Cherry's place after work in the pouring rain. It scared the great googly-moogly outta me.

On another note, I got my hair done the other day ^^ I simply got it trimmed and styled. I got a picture taken, now I gotta get the film developed. I found it interesting, yet not surprising, that my hairdresser found several gray hairs on my head XD Time for a vacation! XD

I saw Harry Potter and the HBP this past weekend. I liked it ^^ I didn't care if it deviated a bit from the book, it at least kept the story going.

Tonight's my last night alone. My dad and stepmom return tomorrow. I need to get a shower tonight, I smell like chlorine from Six Flags XD

It was fun. I spent the night with ~cherryhobbit and ~shortysbonsai and slept on their futon. I managed to finish chapter 6 of my Crisis Core: FF7 fic while there.

We woke up early and went to eat at Cracker Barrel. If you've never been there, they're one of those restuarants that has those really neat shops in the building. They have old-timey candy, like the candy sticks, which I got plenty of. I also couldn't resist buying a container of chocolate-peanut butter buckeyes! Ahh... Makes me wanna go home. I also bought some Sixlets (cause they're tasty little buggers and you can't seem to find them very often). The one thing I really would have loved to have gotten were these old-fashioned perfume bottles with the dabbing-stick. They sparkled and were so elegant.

We were afraid that Six-Flags was gonna be a no-go, because the weather was freakishly cool, but we went anyway ^^

We rode a couple rides before going to the water park. Me and Cherry got on the wooden coaster, Thunder Run. They have a camera during the ride and I struck a pose that was halfway between superman and some kind of 'sally-forth!' look while me and Cherry screamed our heads off XD I got keychains and wallets of them.

We got to the waterpark and got used to the temperature of the water. I rode lazy river once before venturing off to the water slides, which I was eager to ride. I rode one which required a tube to go down. It was an enclosed slide and I ended up going down backwards in pitch black X_X It was fun though. I decided to try the body slide after that, and it proved to be one of the SUCKIEST and most painful ventures I've taken in a long time. As I went down the enclosed tube, I discover they have water sprayers in that thing or something because first there's a mist, which bothered my eyes (I'm sure I'm not the only person that dislikes water being sprayed in their eyes), then the water splashing around me starts to splash in my face, which freaked me out and made breathing hard (I'm not used to water tubes. If I sound like a big baby, I apologize. This was my first venture on water tubes that I can really remember because I never really went to water parks growing up), so by the time I get to the pool down below, I already can't breath and as I plunge into the pool, I swallow/inhale a bunch of water and I'm already scared. I stood up in the pool coughing and gagging and quite unhappy. The life guard asked if I was all right. I just nodded and left that area, not at all willing to go and try another slide. I went back to join Cherry and Bonsai to go around the lazy river to cool off and hack up the rest of the water in my lungs.

We stayed for a while longer. Cherry and I went on some kind of water-ride roller coaster called Deluge. Cherry herself isn't a fan of water tubes, but this was fun. Unfortunately, this ride had water sprayers too, which kind of ruined the fun for me. Otherwise, it was a good ride. I'll just have to buy some goggles next time I go to the park.

Then me and Bonsai got on the Mega Wedgie, which was fun. You go down a tube and into a bowl-like funnel where you spin round and drop down into a small pool.

Then we hit the wave pool. That was fun XD The last time we went to the park, they didn't really have any waves going. Me and Cherry didn't have a tube or anything, but neither did 99% of the other people. Everyone was just jumping into and beating themselves against the huge waves. It was fun. I got knocked into people several times, and the worst part was making sure my swimsuit was secure Those were some rough waves XD

Once we left, I stopped by a shop and got more junk food XD They were selling Banana Split fudge. I got some for the three of us and they were actually having a buy 4 get 2 free sale. We left the park and ate lunch like we did last time (by spreading a blanket out on a mulchy curb, old school style). We ate lunch and took a quick break (I actually dozed off) before leaving. We stopped by Dairy Queen and got some blizzards, went back to Cherry's and Bonsai's place, where we ate and I fell asleep again XD Once I woke up, I packed up and left. I then stopped by Auto Zone where I grabbed some new windshield wiper blades. My car needs them like woah. Went to go see Up today. A very nice movie ^^ I'd much rather watch it a second time than Transformers 2; blech, what a drag of a movie.

I can't wait for Iron Man 2!!!

I have to work tomorrow, but then I have two days off ^^ I'm going back to Six Flags with Cherry and Bonsai on Thursday.

Man, even thought we got our A/C fixed, it still gets pretty warm in my room.

I tell you what... I don't know why I bother turning it to Cartoon Network anymore. They have NOTHING.

It's payday too! I wonder if I should do another round of grocery shopping.

I also need to get my license renewed. It's not due for another few months, but now that I'm 21, I think I can go ahead and get it changed. I still haven't had my first drink XD

Everything is going well, though. Same ol', same ol'. Hanging out, going to work, listening to my iPod and *gasp* even doing a bit of writing!

~cherryhobbit and I found it strange that they were playing "Just Dance" at an amusement park. What made it totally surreal was watching Porky and Petunia Pig (people in costume, of course) dance to it from inside the gate... But it made our day when they played The Hello Song from Animaniacs That was so awesome! They need Animaniacs stuff!

We got our Big 6 Passes and headed out to ride our first ride, which was fun. I tried to take a couple of pictures on it, but it was whipping us around so much, I doubt they look any good

We stopped by some shops, like a novelty hat shop. They had one hat that resembled a cake with candles on top and it had Happy Birthday embroidered on it. I bought it and wore it around the Park XD

I mainly wanted to look at shops. Sometimes they have some really cool items, especially since they focus on Superheroes like Batman and the Justice League (Green Lantern and the Flash!!)

Cherry and I rode one of my fave rides together, a wooden coaster called Thunder Run. We laughed at our pre-ride jitters and had a blast on the ride.

After that we headed outside the park to eat. We camped old-school style under a tree on a curb like how our dad used to do. It started to rain, but we didn't care, because we all planned to go to the waterpark anyway, but then it started pouring and the rain was FREEZING, so we took shelter in Cherry's car.

Once we got back in, we went straight for the waterpark. It was my second time there, but I hadn't been in there for four years, so it was like going in there for the first time again XD We looked at more shops, and then went to Lazy River (which might be called something else, but we all call it Lazy River. It's where you get a raft and just float down a trail. There's one of those called Lazy River somewhere, I'm sure, but I don't know it that's what this one is called.)

Then me and ~anya1751 rode the Tornado, which is a water ride that looks like a big funnel on it's side; they push you down a tube and you end up in the funnel where you slide back and forth. It was fun XD But getting up there wasn't DX I'm not a fan of heights.

I bought some towels. a Batman-themed hooded towel for me, Cherry and ~shortysbonsai and a colorful beach towel for Anya1851. I also bought a Justice League beach towel. It's da bomb.

When we got out, we stopped by a Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop. MMMmmmmm. Unfortunately, Anya1851 had to leave because she had to work. So me, Cherry and Shortys just stayed for a short time longer, looking at a couple more shops (I bought a 'Scream Queen' shirt for Cherry XD) before leaving.

BTW, Anya, I think I left my pink polka-dot bag in your car.

We headed to Cherry's, and then I came home, where I had two cards waiting. One from my mom, stepdad and Co. from back home and one from my dad and stepmom.

My mom's card brought me to tears. I told her on the phone and I called it her revenge, since she had told me that one of her mother's day cards almost made her cry. She laughed and said that she couldn't find any funny birthday cards and when she saw that even she got teary eyed XD

I waited to open the birthday card from my dad and stepmom. They had their neighbor over while he chatted with my dad and his little daughter was with him. She was adorable. She kept telling me to open my birthday card and when I told her I was waiting until everyone was ready she got in front of everyone and started shouting "HEY STOP TALKING AND LOOK AT THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!"

They didn't stop XD You can't stop my dad mid-speech.

after they left, I ate dinner with my dad and stepmom. I opened my card, which was nice and sweet. Then I brought out the leftovers from my Dairy Queen ice cream cake and split them between the three of us.

So, it was a good day. Even the cloudy weather couldn't stop anything. Actually, the cloudy weather was a blessing. Trudging through a theme park on a hot day is murder.

I'm glad I have today off. There's plenty to do. Laundry's a going, I got to take a shower ('cause I got chlorine hair) and then there's the dog to take care of. Sorry if I haven't been online as much as usual... My sister ~cherryhobbit moved into a new apartment with her boyfriend ~shortysbonsai a week ago and it's about twenty minutes away from where I live. I visited with them today. We went to Target so I could buy a swimsuit for our Six Flags trip on Monday. It's so cute XD it's a two piece, and it hides my belleh and it has a skirt.

BTW, ~anya1751, did you get Monday off?

I worked early as well, and I'm beat. I definitely feel as though I could turn in early tonight... But I can't... Must watch The Soup!

My favorite scene is where Marlene imitates Barret while talking to Cloud. It is pure awesome AND adorable at its finest.

And the EYES. OMG, the eyes how they sparkled and shined like no tomorrow!

And then they took Geostigma's freaky factor to the maximum level; in both the movie and the Denzel episode... Eewwwwity eww eww eww... Ick... But super cool nonetheless.

So, I finally went clothes shopping! I even used my credit card for the first time to pay for it and have already paid off the bill ^^ CREDIT SCORE YAY. I'm just happy I have pants that fit me, and now I'm not that afraid of my credit card anymore.

It's time for my two days off! The agenda today isn't very clear, but tomorrow I'm hoping to go clothes shopping with my stepmom. I need some new jeans. Most of mine are baggy and tend to slide down my hips unless I'm wearing a belt. Plus I'd just like to have some new clothes. I asked my stepmom to go with me because she has clothes shopping down to a science XD

I've been spending money, money, money XD I finally got my contacts, which cost about $103 for a six month supply; some new work shows, $28; a couple of things I didn't need *a cute paper organizer and a mouse for laptops* which was also around $28... I like shopping XD I get it from my momma.

Yesterday took the cake though. ~cherryhobbit let me know Thursday evening, after I came home from work, that we had NO FOOD. She and I usually buy our own groceries while our dad and stepmom usually get their own, but there was NOTHING to eat, so I told her that we would get up early the next day and go to Kroger. When we went, I took out $300 *for groceries and to just have some money*. After about an hour, our cart was chock full of FOOD. It was glorious. All in all, I think I spent about $170 on most of it *it was my turn for groceries ^^ I probably didn't have to spend that much, but at least there's food in the house* while Cherry bought what she could *she's about to move in to an apartment in a month, so she's trying to watch her money*

There's nothing better than waking up and realizing there's food in the house.

Ahh, there's less than a month until my 21st birthday!!

Man... Does anyone else believe that these BlendyPens on TV are making kids lazy about coloring?

Some bit of good news, I've started writing on Intertwined again after, like, two years XD

Yesterday I watched that clip with Susan Boyle from Britain's Got Talent about seven times. It was so cool! I love Simon's reaction ^^

I'm starting to get hungry X( I worked late tonight and got home a little over an hour ago. Since then, I've been playing Topple with ~cherryhobbit and ~shortysbonsai. It's been fun XD

Not much else is going on. Since I got paid on Wednesday, I've actually been able to keep a good amount of money in my checking account. Maybe next payday I'll go and order my contacts. I ran out of them about a month ago X(

I've got tomorrow off. Hence the journal entry

Anyway, an update on my dentist appointments. When I went back the other day, all I needed was to have a filling filed down because my bite wasn't coming together. It's all fixed now, and they didn't even have to numb me, although the front part of my gums are tender...

While there (the dentist office in at the mall) We went to the food court and after that, I stopped by a Dairy Queen/Orange Julius on the way out and ordered the Midnight Truffle Blizzard.

Mmmmm... Truffles... It was pretty good. VERY chocolatey

Well, my mind's gone blank. I'm tired. So I'm gonna end my journal here ^^

I understand why, though. I have a tooth on the upper right side of my mouth that descends lower than the others. They wanna get it evened out or something, plus it's scraping right on my new filling... I don't know if that's a worry, but it makes sense to me. Dad also said that a low tooth could cause some problems. And it's really hard to chew with it being the way it is, so hopefully it can be fixed. Luckily, dad said that I won't have to be numbed during the procedure, which is good, 'cause my gums HURT.

~dark-heartless-wolf, I WILL get to drawing that dress, I swear! Even if I have to stay up late tonight to do so! I've got a couple of hours left until we go (I think). I'm gonna finish reviewing your story, and then if I have enought time, I'll see about getting started on it.

What a day. I got up at 6:20, showered, had breakfast, and left with my stepmom to go to the dentist (Where she works as dental assisstant).

First she did my X-rays, which was kinda funny, because they used this big machine that goes around your head, then they took more x-rays by using little plates that you bite on. We were worried about my teeth, because I hadn't been to see a dentist for over three years and we already knew that they weren't in the best condition. However, all I ended up needing were fillings. Given that I had about 6+ cavities/pits, it was a pretty easy day. Despite the fact that I was in the chair for about 4 hours, it went pretty smoothly. A bit of my face is still numb (the procedure ended around noon and it's 3 now, but then again, I did get about 6 shots XD) There were times when I was in the chair hanging out, getting drowsy; heck I was starting to nod off while my stepmom was doing fillings.

There were some painful parts; one of my front teeth was incredibly sensitive to a polishing tool, and the tooth that had was the biggest priority is starting to ache, but my cavities/pits are filled and my teeth haven't looked this good in years.

So hurray!

Ugh... No more snow. If it does snow, it better warm back up lickety-split. I've practically retired my coats, and I don't wanna get them back out.

In other news, the pharmacy across the street from where I work got robbed.

I hope the morons get caught and beat upside their stupid heads. End of story. Buncha low-lifes.

I might try to set it up soon, althout I do have to work early tomorrow. Don't know what I'll do with it. I'm thinking about doing one of those record-myself-drawing things.

Anyway, I really should be in bed since I work early tomorrow. But I felt the need to update my journal.

I may finally have a dental appointment! Yup, my stepmom said that she could probably get me in next Friday.

I've gotta work early tomorrow, but then I have Wednesday off. I'm so happeh! I really ought do some writin'.

BTW, In case you guys might be interested, there's a video of my mom's and stepdad's band on Youtube. My stepdad's on it as well as the other guitarsts and the drummer. I think my mom was the one recording. My stepdad is the guy up front with the blond hair.

Other than that, not much is going on. Payday is Wednesday and I'm so happy. I'm practically broke. I overspent this last paycheck, and I really need to get my new contacts. Not to mention I still need to be saving for my Nintendo DS. I'm glad KH 358/2 Days isn't coming out until September or so (For us, at least)

I've been trying to get a dentist appointment with the help of my stepmom, who's a dental assisstant. I finally got a day off, but then I heard that the dentist will be on vacation X( I REALLY need to go. I haven't been to one in a few years, and my toothers are looking mighty... bad.

I haven't really done anything exciting artwise. I went to Half-Price Bookstore with my sisters and found a couple of Disney books ( Disney's Art of Animation: from Mickey Mouse to Hercules, and the art of Hercules: The Chaos of Creation, which are both really neat, even if Hercules isn't my fave Disney flick)

I also bought the Aladdin soundtrack from there. I LOVE going there and finding stuff in the soundtrack department. Now if only I could find the Bust-A-Groove games.

Speaking of which, they were selling an older Squaresoft game from back in 1999 called Threads of Fate. They had it behind a counter and I snagged it for $25. Now we just hafta plug in a game station. Odds are, if we hook up the PS2, I just might try and beat KH: ReCoM before anything else XD

I need to get back to writing mah stories. Maybe tomorrow. I'm so excited because I bought lotsa goodies to eat since my sister and nephew are visiting. Now that I've got tomorrow off, I can relax, and then for dinner, I'm making chili! I don't care if the weather spikes to 80 degrees, I'M MAKING CHILI BY GOLLY! *Sob* I miss my mom's cooking. Ribs, beef and veggie soup with grilled cheese, even beefy pasta meal from Hamburger Helper...

In other news, I'm starting to definitely think about going to art college. It just seems that everything else I think about doing, I don't have any background experience for it. But whether I go for movie animation or video game art, just something to get out there and earn a living. Don't know when I'll be going, but I'm starting to think it's what I'll go for.

I totally forgot that I bought that puzzle from Half-Price Book Store...I never do puzzles, but I just said 'what the hey.'

So, wow. Long journal XD Man, I'm beat. But odds are, I might not go to sleep yet ^^ I'll probably listen to my iPod, watch some Avatar on it, try to write, draw, color, who knows?

I've been working on updating the CotH chapters so I can put them up on DevArt. However, I was doing some dialogue work and almost found the story going in a totally different direction, which was neat. I don't plan on doing away with the original, though, even though I know it needs work *especially Lucinda's and Riku's fast FAST relationship*.

I feel bad, 'cause I feel like I'm overworking this story, but it's one of my main outlets to my KH imagination.

I've wondered about just adding the sequel to the original story... But can you imagine how LONG that story would be if I combined KH1, CoM, AND KH2?

So... Sorry to keep bugging you with this story. But it's like my baby XD.

Well, I think I'm gonna get back to uploading CotH on DevArt. I'm going through the chapters and updating them, whether taking out unneeded stuff, removing dead plotbunnies, or removing lines, basically a fanfic facelift.

I still need to get back to the CoM arc of the fic. I deleted it off of ff.net, and now I'm either gonna start from scratch, or, again, revamp the chapters.

Work's been going good though. I've been working at the front register a lot, but I'm also working more morning hours, which is fine and dandy by me XD. I'm becoming more adjusted to the front register, unlike several months ago, when I would gripe and bellyache about being up there; but now that I've felt the sting of the economy, I'm willing to shut my trap.

Anyways, I have two days of a seven day stretch left, and then I have the weekend off! I'm gonna enjoy it too, by golly.

I've been getting back into an original story. My fanfictions haven't been doing that well XD But it's not a bad thing to start on something new and original, huh? I am hoping to get back and finish CotH and the others, but they need a nice break; and if I work on them now and again, that's all good too.

Artwise, I've got several sketches. Nothing finished as of yet.

I did manage to buy some batteries and film for my old camera. It's not a digital, but it's decent. It's the same camera I took the pictures of the kittens with. Hopefully I can hone my skills a little now that I'm older ^^

But, yeah, I have tomorrow off. I'm glad, because we were one of the areas that got BOMBARDED with snow and ice. It's everywhere.

I'm trying to get into my stories ^^ And art. My ideas don't flow like they used to. They're just stuck. I'm in the process of inking a pic of older Ansem and Talbot. I've gotten some inspiration for CotH2. Plot devices and such ^^ But I need to get through the CoM saga first.

The only thing I currently have to look forward to right now is payday on Wednesday. I can't wait!

Sorry for being so boring. I'm a little tired at the moment XD and I have nothing to do.
