Alright so things are starting to slowly move along. :>

I did absolutely nothing today but chat and draw, which was nice. Tomorrow i'm going to this little furmeet thingy iunno lol with ~Beowulf-Kennedy and =collared. I'm really excited, especially because not only do I get to meet new people, but I also finally get to meet someone i've watched here on dA for a very long time and have always admired. :3 So we shall see how things go~

On top of that, it's going to suck because Monday all i'm doing is school work. Straight reading and test taking only. UGH it's going to be hell but yanno, you gotta do what you gotta do. So I mind as well just suck it up, take it like a chick, and never make this mistake of taking 4 self taught classes again XD

Another good note, i'm finally going to get around to getting my website up. I've had [link] made for a while, but i've never used it. So tonight I went ahead and renewed all of my information and =Helsing the dear who actually made the website for me, will be helping me update it and everything. So keep an eye out for it!

I'm also going to be setting up another journal here that lists all my art status. Just so you know :> One thing I will be doing though is uploading my WIPs instead of just showing how far my progress is. Unless it's for someone as either a commission or a trade and they request me not to... or if it's gift art lol.

Oh and I just saw this on *ArbokCobra's journal... so i'm going to do the same thing. I OC through hamachi... so if you have hamachi and you want to OC with me sometime, feel free to add me. I have two networks.

As usual, school is killing me :> yup... i'm never taking 4 online classes and working full time EVER AGAIN.
Speaking of work, i'm only working half a day tomorrow, YAY!

And hochit, Anthrocon is in like, 3 freaking weeks. :excited: All I have left to do is finish a bunch of badges and buy a few things and i'm all set!

So I was doing my homework this morning and I was going to call my Aunt since I wanted to go down there for a bit...

Well my mom walks into the dining room since she was mopping the floor and I asked her where the phone was so I could call my Aunt. And she's all... o wait didn't I tell you...


Copper's dead.


I cried. ._. so hard.


RIP COPPER 1991-2007

We found him behind a McDonalds next to a dumpster at around age two, maybe a little older. He's what we believe to be a german shepherd/lab mix. He was an extremly happy and laid back dog... one of the best i've ever had. I've had him for about 14 years now. We had to let him stay at my Aunt's though since we didn't have enough room for him and she has a lot of land... but I went to go visit him often.

A few weeks ago I was up in MD when I got a call from my Aunt asking what we could do about his arthritis because it was starting to get really bad. She also mentioned that he wasn't eating much. I told her to take him to the vet... after that, he just flew down hill. Two days ago she told me he wasn't eating and he would barely move. My Aunt lives about 2 hours away so I couldn't go down there... I was going to go down today so we could take him to the vet. My uncle decided to take it into his own hands, and they put him to rest. ._. My mom didn't say whether or not they shot him or snapped his neck. And I don't want to know.

I'm just happier he's in a better place now, without pain.

You were a good boy Copper. A very good boy. I will miss you. :heart:

So during the middle of the day we have our switching period where the morning dogs get picked up and afternoon dogs get dropped off. We all pitch in because it gets VERY hectic. So this older guy, about 6'4" walks in with this cute little gray/silver/brown fluffy dog who's all hyper and everything. I'm all... uh who's this dude o.o Well one of my coworker's clients walks in the door with her little bichon who's all happyjumphyperskippy and tries to play with everyone. So this guy's dog starts growling at the bichon and the guy doesn't say a word, doesn't pull his dog back... just takes his hand AND WITH FULL FORCE STARTS BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF THE DOG. The dog yelped twice and then cowered and me, the bichon's owner, and my coworker just stood there- dumbfounded o.x My blood started to boil so I ran back and grabbed my boss... in the end he was all like, oh he's so social and friendly. um no. My boss got onto him about hitting the dogs and we denied him an appointment so he GRABS his dog away from my boss and is like WELL I BEAT MY KIDS TOO AND THEY TURNED OUT JUST FINE! uh, yeah right. And he goes outside... and because he's mad at us, he chucks his dog down to the concrete from chest height. We ran outside to catch him but he had already left. We were kicking ourselves in the asses all day because we didn't get any of his information. He had said he got the dog from an animal shelter, so we called everyone locally but nobody found any matches to the dog and family we described :<

People, I swear.

I went ahead and decided to update. I know I haven't done this for a while and i've only BARELY been updating livejournal but that is soon to change yet again.

This summer is going to be pretty hard on me. I decided to take summer semester classes to get ahead a bit and well, I ended up taking 4 online classes. Which happens to be a shitload of work for me ontop of having a full time job. So most days, i'm going to be pretty slow about getting things done since i'll most likely be reading.

Spent all day yesterday with Beowulf. :> LOVElovelove that guy. We went and saw Shrek the Third. olord... A lot of people told me it sucked, but I thought it was pretty good! Of course, not as good as the first two, but it was definately worth going to see IMO. We stopped by Jamie's General Coffee Bean as well, fuck starbucks XD lol I'm going to have to go and find out when the next little meet is there so that we can go. Anyways, it was lots of fun... but I always have fun with him.

OMG AC is 4 weeks away!!!!! I can't believe it o.x Anyone going? :3 I'll be there rooming with ~shadowwolf =kahmari-dragon1 and =Lyanti most likely... maybe one other person, not sure yet. If you are going BE SURE TO LET ME KNOW! And if you want, we can do a badge trade.

I start school again very soon, and i'm actually looking forward to it. :)

My job has been murder on me. Tomorrow is one of my coworker's last days :< The other groomers and I are having to take on all of her dogs... and because i'm the one who's doesn't have a degree, i'm also the part-time receptionist so i'm the one who has to reschedule all of these dogs... we're booked out for over a month now. :/

The past few days have been really hard on me. Especially with the VT massacre. I had met the gunman. I had spoken to him. His parents work at the cleaners that is directly across the parking lot from my job in the Centreville Square shopping center. When our dryer caught fire we had to get all of our towels washed over there...

... but yeah. My heart just dropped into my stomach when I saw his picture. Two people I know were wounded that day, and another was killed.

Rest in Peace Lauren McCain... you'll always be remembered. As well as all of the other victims of the massacre. God bless your families, everyone is in my thoughts and prayers.



Onto other things... as I said, things have been hectic. I haven't had much time to do anything. We just got new carpet and we're repainting the house so when I get home from work I usually work on that. That's pretty much the reason why there's been no new postings lately. Everything is pretty much just sketches.

Sorry to you all that I haven't replied to your comments :heart: the notes and messages have meant so much to me, thank you.

Tom says his roommate might be coming to DC early next month and that he might come too. I really hope so :)

I got a Saturday off work for like, the first time ever. LOL ~Beowulf-Kennedy is taking me to the Baltimore Aquarium... one of the coolest people on earth and SWEETASCANDY :] I'm excited >.> :excited: hehe

My phone is ringing off the hook. I know so many people and have so many friends who go to that school.
... and I can't find out anything. Half the cell phones on campus aren't even working. Too many incoming and outgoing signals. I'm checking myspace and facebook like mad because that's where everyone is posting letting us all know they're okay. There's still about 10 people I haven't heard from. I know 2 of the people wounded so far though... like I said, still waiting to hear about others.

Right now i'm waiting for the press conference and the President's statement.

May the 31 victims of the Virginia Tech massacre rest in peace. God bless their families.

Sunday was a long day....

First was the race...
WOOOOOOOOOOO BABY! Jimmie won the Goody's Cool Orange 500 beating out his fuckassery teammate Jeff Gordon :bleh: Then Kyle finished in 4th :heart: and Kasey... poorpoor Kasey. 25th :< I'm so hoping... that this season gets better for him, because so far it's just been a pile of shit D:

Then it was tattoo time :]
So I went and got my star tattoo... I only got the first star done though because i'm poor lol. Anyways, next paycheck i'm getting the rest done. So far is just a pink star with a black outline :/ but the other two stars will be pink and will have black tribal trails that go around my wrist. So we shall see what it will look like when it's done :)

All milk and no shake...
So then we went to TGI Fridays and Dianne was ghetto and filled up on blue raspberry slushes... bitch drank 5 of them o.x and their milkshakes tasted like flavored milk so we walked across the street to the Silver Diner and had the best shakes in the world :] not to mention our server was hot and looked like Nate and I wanted to jump him >.> lol

Lets just say... i've never been so scared in my life.

Anthrocon and Arts
So yes, Anthrocon is coming up and my room has already been booked. :] So far my roommates will be ~shadowwolf and =kahmari-dragon1... There's a possible chance that these three may be joinging =fala, =Kynisk, and *LasciateOgneSperanza will be with me.

After my dog sitting episode all my art stuff is still at the woman's house and I have to go back and get it :/ That and we're getting new carpet and what not installed and we're repainting the entire house so my spare time when i'm not out has been spent packing and moving things around. Therefore, art might take a while to get finished completely.

So... Kyle Busch wins the fist Car Of Tomorrow race @ Bristol earlier today. :) Kyle and Jeff Burton were neck and neck on the green/white finish because of the caution on lap 3. Burton could have taken out Kyle but he didn't.... one because he's a safe clean driver, and two because he passed Kyle last minute at the Vegas race.... Kyle kept blocking Burton and Burton didn't want to push him, but he so had the chance to bump him and take him out. So thanks Burton for being the clean racer you are, lol!

and Kasey... I love you, BUT YOU NEED TO STOP FUCKING WRECKING. At least he finished better than what he has been finishing :/ He's had it hard so far this season.

Jimmie dear, hang in there.... you'll win again soon :P

At least all three of my boys finished the race today! LOL and in the top 20 too.

I'm going to keep their results in my journal at all times now :3 So you're going to have to deal with my loser self.

OH AND I SWEAR NEW ART IS ON THE WAY. I've been sketching a lot, you just haven't seen any of it. Most of it the people who are going to be recieving it have seen the WIPs and some are on my photobucket account.

lawl i'm gay... and haven't done one of these on my new account yet.... so whomever gets my 6,660 pageview, i'll draw you a sketch :3 must have screen shot thnx!

Anywho... life is just peachy. Thankfuckinggoodness for warm weather, i've been getting out of the house every chance I get. Work is actually going a lot better now, I think i'm finally used to my boss- LOL. Still, if I get the opportunity to leave, I won't have to think twice about it.

I sign up for school again on March 27. I'm going to take online courses this semester though because summers at my job are extremely hectic and i'm required to do a certain amount in order to keep my job. I'll go back to campus classes in the fall.

Might be getting another guniea pig. I sent in an application for adoption from one of the area cavy rescues. Still waiting to hear back from them, but it's only been a few days. Get paid tomorrow so i'll be purchasing a bigger cage.

... and I think that's all I have to say right now. hrm.

The art is slowly coming D: It's just like... all sketches at the moment. Working on getting things colored and i'm practicing inking more :/ ... another commission is soon on it's way, as well as two trades and a gift art.

Just keep looking for updates somewhere.

I might just go and make myself a journal set. As much as i'd like to get one from someone else I don't think I can afford it at the moment.

I don't think i'm as happy as I thought I was... or maybe it's just a bad day ._. I don't know.

Anyways now that i'm settled again with a roof over my head and my plans figured out, I can start getting back to other things I used to do.

I'll be uploading more and posting more journals and so forth. I'll also be commenting LOL because I really haven't been doing that like at all :/ Sorry....

Should be getting a new journal set soon as well as a new icon. I'll have some references to post, a few sketches I might put up, and in a little while you'll see my contest prize pictures.

This contest will be judged on how well you place her markings on the other animal... if you can tell what the other animal is (so some skill)... if both BJ's are present AND interaction... and how creative it is. It will be me and a few of my friends actually doing the judging.


    :bulletred: RULES :bulletred:

    - Both the regular Beeejaay and your drawing of Beeejaay as another animal MUST be in the picture.
    - It must be colored.
    - They must be interacting in some way, no straight comparison pictures (like references and what not)
    - When you draw Beeejaay as another animal, it can be any type of creature… whether it is a mythical beast or a real animal, extinct or not. If you are going to do mixes however, please keep it to a minimum of 3 animals and you must list them. The mixes should be apparent.
    - YOU MUST HAVE FUN! Be creative, do whatever. Use any medium you want XD (I would love it could send me any real media pieces you do so I can hang them on my wall.)
    - You may submit as many entries as you want... but may only win once.
    - An animal can be used multiple times, but if you already see someone who has done like a lion, please don't do one. If you've already started, then go ahead and do one XD It will be accepted. But if there are multiples of the same animal, that lessens both of your chances of winning. If you feel like you're up for the competition though, be my guest :)
