So far everything's going really well, the graphic design job is quite fun, my co-workers are really nice and I'm workin on different kind of projects, from exhibition stand development to image brochures, mailings and even technical illustration to name just some of them.
Besides the graphic-job, I'm workin on three illustration projects so far: Maps for the RPG Opus Anima [link] , a fantasy book and an acient fairytale, so I'm quite busy these days.
Therefore, it is quite good, that I haven't got internet at home yet, so I'm forced to work and not beeing distracted. That's why I wont be able to be here at DA as often as I'd like to, so please don't be mad at me, if I dont reply to your messages comments or journals at the moment...
My subscription also expired recently, but I won't renew it until I've got online access at home again, since it would just be wasted.
I'm still workin on my own website and the Ironskulls website as well! If you don't know what Ironskulls are, go there imediately!!!

My appartment is loveley, I like it very much! My room is so much bigger than my old room, it's got big windows and a really big balcony! It takes me only around ten minutes to get to work by bike, which is faster than by car!
The house is situated right next to the zoo, so everything is really nice and green around here. In addition to that I've got all these funny animal noises from time to time which I really like! From my balcony, I can look directly in one of the animals enclosure as you can see here [link]
On top of that, I can see the sun set ervery evening above the zoo from my balcony, which is just wonderful. I really enjoy living here and even though it is only a temporary appartment, I hope that I'll find an appartment as nice as this one someday.

My final exams went really fine, I got much better marks than I expected, to be honest I graduated with 1.3
As some of you predicted, most of my fears concerning my 'diplomprojekt' were totally arbitrary. On the contrary, lots of people asked me when the book of 'Amor and Psyche' will be finally published, which made me relly proud and happy. To have the book published, is then also one of the things I have planned for now. I hope to be able to start negotiations with my publisher for 'Amor and Psyche' as well as 'Der Goldene Esel', the book I'm workin on atm., soon. So hopefully, both books will be published by Frankfurt Book Fair 2007!
Some of the illustrations for 'Amor and Psyche' will be uploaded now ^^

Besides that, I'm still drawing for the 'Mephisto' [link] , an Fantasy Games Mag. Look out for my illustrations of an article about 'Unknown Armies' [link] coming soon.

To be able to apply for a decent job soon, I'm workin on a 'CI' for myself as well as my portfolio. I intend to move out as soon as possible, hopefully I can find a nice job and a cute little appartment somewhere in or around Karlsruhe. I really am desperate for a change of scene. My dream is to have a nice little design job and to be able to work as an illustrator besides that to gain some experience in both.

In April, I'll attend two conventions as official invited artist:

Well. I have to shut all these doubts and thoughts aut of my head and keep on working. I'm still working on final touchups of the book, the presentation as well as the second part of the exam, characterdesign/ conceptart for a game. The second presentation is on feb. 7th

I know that it's only a couple of days until everything is over and that I'm gonna manage somehow, I always do. And that I'm whingeing around here, having a sore throat, coughing, drinking tea with honey to make it better, beeing tired, frustrated and unmotivated most of the time. It's just a relief to write ist down and to let you take part of it. I know this is NOT the end of the world and I'm sure it'll be fine. But I bet all of you just know that it really helps to grump around sometimes and receive cheer ups from you bunch of awesome guys out there

So here's the plan: My next journal entry will come on feb 8th, when everything is done. Until then, there's gonna be loads of things and work to do and I'll be damn cheered up by your replies on this entry. Feel hugged for it already
Afterwards, you finally get to see all the illustrations I did, wether you like it or not
And now I moaned around enough and kick my but back to work

For all those who have no idea what I'm talkin about: I handed in my examwork today. It is quite a large project for which I illustrated the tale of Amor and Psyche (use wikipedia, there's a really nice summary of it...) And no, it's got nothing to do with 'The Perfume'. For more informations, go and visit my last journal entry!
So now I have to prepare the presentation and the oral exams coming up in the beginning of febuary, the second part of the examwork (a characterdesign/ conceptart for a game) and all the other stuff that is waiting since weeks to be accomplished.

Aaaaaand of course something else has to be mentioned here! I wanna say thank you for the DD last friday! I was stunned when I entered the DA site and had so many messages! Thank you so much for all the favourites and all your nice comments! And of course I wanna thank all the people who added me since then! It's so nice to see my stuff appreciated and I'm really honored. This is a great community and a even better way to share my art with you.
So come back soon, because I intend to upload some of my Illustrations of the exam here!

Right now I'm back at my examwork and I think I need a time machine. I'm doing quite well and I'm happy with my drawings, but I can't prevent myself from thinking that I'm running out of time. Of course I'll do everything to keep the deadlines and I WILL kepp them. I DO want to finish my studies now, because I WANT to get a proper job and I SO want to move out...
just moved into her cute little new flat. She's doing this whole decorating and furnishing stuff to make everything so nice and homelike. And she's doing it really good! It already looks really nice although it's not finished I'm really happy with her and I'm almost as exited about it as she is, but it makes me kind of sad that I still have to wait until I'll be able to do these kind of things
Buuut it's another thing that keeps me motivated to finally get over with the whole diplom-thing

This morning, I decided to do some kind of deletion of the deviations I had to go through. Since the earliest deviation I had to look at was from the 7th december 2005 and all of them were a number of over 3000 deviations, I just decidet to delete them all. The sad thing about this is the fact, that I will miss a lot of your beautiful artworks out there. The good thing about it is, that I'll be able to look at your latest artwork now without thinkin 'oh my god, I'll never manage to go through them all' and not leaving comments ^^

For me, this is also one part of the changes that happened to my life and the decision to some kind of restart.

Today, I did some kind of a spring cleanout, hoping that spring will finally reach germany. It's still really freezing here, although the sun's trying really hard

Well but everything in my room is nice and tidy again and - most important - I can see my carpet again and it's colour is blue again. Not this greyish blue with dark and light freckles
And it's so much nicer to work in a tidy environment and it motivates me. Now I have a really tight timetable 'til I have to hand in my finished exam project and I really wonna stick with it

Thehehe, snow is falling again, even if it's not as much as last Friday ^^ And its quite wet, so it doesnt really stay. That's sad....

We had lots of snow in the last two days here, which makes me really happy. I just love snow. Of course, due to these intense snowfalls, there was a massive traffic chaos in the Rhein-Main-Gebiet and some really heavy accidents.

These two Projects are gonna be so much fun! I have to hand in the finished works in may. Presentations and oral exams will take place in june.

Y-day I saw 'The Geisha' at the movies. I loved it! Wonderful pictures! I was really stunned.The picture of the ancient japan drawn in this movie is really fascinating! I guess I'll have to read the book now >__>;

You havent heard any news from me since a few days, which is a really bad thing. I'm al lazy brat. Shame on me! I hope all of you had a wonderful x-mas with loooots of presents ^^
But now, that the troublesome part of x-mas is over, I just wantet to let all of you wonderful people out there know that I'm doing fine!
First of all, I managed all the university projects and was able to subscibe for the final exams on the 15th december. That means, that I'll start with my exam projects on the 8th of february 2006. Second thing was a project for my basketball-club. This THING caused so much trouble, but will finally be printed in january. What a relief...

Third ting are two Illustrations I was allowed to do for a roleplay-game-magazine. They will be published too now and they said that they would be happy if I would like to do more for them in the future

So this was the artistic part in my life.

The personal part... Well. I know now that there are a lot of wonderful people aut there, that care for me. And I know that even if I dont get any mail or messages for two day or a week, that they're NOT gone. They're still there. They still care. And they still thing of me sometimes, even if I cant see that. But I know now for sure and that feels good.

To all of these people and of course to all of the people who read this lot:

So we broke up yesterday. Im so sad and dissapointed. And I still cant believe it. The problem ist, that we have still very strong feelings for each other, but carrying on like this would not work.

The following two weeks are very important for my upcoming exams next spring, so I'll try to concentrate on my work...

But at the same time I have the impression, that noone notices. I sometimes get the feeling, that I never existed. I feel unimportant to everybody. I'm sad. The only one who semms to care about me is my cat who strides around my legs or wants to be crawled while I'm typing this... Sometimes I wish I were a cat. Because they can just do what they want. And if they feel like cuddling up in a cosy chair, they just do it. They dot't have to work the whole day...

This weekend, I'm gonna visit
and Nebelkrähe will be there too. Hope It's gonna be fun.

Even tha fact, that I twisted my ankle during basketballtraining couldn't change my mood. Okay, it hurt a lot, but I guess it'll be okay. I can still walk an it doesnt hurt that much anymore. Only a little bit is left ^^

So much for today. I've so much work to do at the moment, so please dont be mad at me if it takes a bit longer b4 silly me answers ;__;

1. I'm lazy.
2. I just bought myself a beautiful iPod nano in white. I don't like black, when it comes to tecnical devices.
3. I dont mind spending 50 bucks on a really good design- or artbook.
4. I weigh too much, but I'm trying to change that.
5. I love drinking all sorts of tea, except 'Roiboos'and I would do almost everything for a real good flavoured lattte macchiato!
6. I'm really lookin forward having my own appartment and beeing able to decorate and furnish it.
7. I often put on too many things and never manage to go through with them all.
8. I still have to learn so much when it comes to illustration.
9. I'm one of the Good Ones. I'm honest. And I don't like people who aren't.
10. Call me naive, but I consider almost everybody I meet for the first time as a good person. And my knowledge of human nature never let me down in the majority of cases.
11. I'd love to travel the whole world and learn more about the different cultures and countries, especially Asia (japan), India, Mexico (tha maya), Cuba and many more.
12. I have to visit Prague one day.
13. I grew up with basketball and I couldn't imagine a life without this game. I love this game.
14. I don't like creepy stuff and creepy films even less =__=;
15. I'd like to do a short manga one day, that just looks really cool but has no profound plot. Because I'm really bad in profound plotting
16. I'd like to have a tatoo one day.
17. I become jealous very easily.
18. I still live with my parents untill I finished university. And it is me who has to sort out everything about the computer, the internet and all the other technical stuff =__=;
19. I once was deeply hurt by a person I love, and I cant forget about that.
But I can forgive.
20. I am adorable.

Late in September my life was truly really good. But things changed. My heart was torn apart and put together again only to pass the ordeal to be left in unsecurity. It still is.
So far my emotional trouble.

One week after things started to play hard on me, I got injured during a basketball game. Basketball is part of my life and this was a real shock 4 me. I am not allowe to do Sports for about five weeks still and I'm getting mad.

The consequences of these events were, that I was unable to concentrate on one thing more than five minutes. I was unable to draw and to work. I dunno how I got trough this.

I still am really sad sometimes, but it's becoming less. I wonder when it won't hurt anymore...

Please dont be mad with me that I didnt answered your messages nor your comments. I'm really sorry.

Yess, I found a place for practical training in an advertising agency in Frankfurt. It is calles Michael Conrad & Leo Burnett and is quite a big one... I'm really happy about this, cuz the people there semm to be really nice and I think that I'll learn a lot!

Well. Now that all the stress is gone, I finally have the time to finish all the pictures that are waiting for colours or backgrouds... So I hope that ya lot hasn't forgot about me...
