1. When I was little, I wanted to be an engineer (who designed bridges), then a paleontologist, then an astronaut. Now science is my least favorite subject.

2. I think word etymology is genuinely interesting, and I wish I had an even bigger vocabulary than I do now.

3. I have a phobia of having things near my eyes which prevents me from getting contacts.

4. I hated having red hair when I was younger. Silly.

5. Five favorite songs (in no particular order): Thunder Road by Bruce Springsteen, Kol Nidrei, Op. 47 by Max Bruch, Preab San Ol (Traditional Irish folk song), Sorrow by Bad Religion, Under Pressure by David Bowie and Queen

6. I'm procrastinating at this very minute.

7. Several people call me George on a regular basis.

8. I'm tired of thinking up facts about myself.
