I guess it's kinda obvious, but I left deviantart a long time ago. It's become to big for me, I guess. Been leaving a lot of places behind lately, but I haven't properly said goodbye yet. So here goes:

GOODBYE EVERYBODY!

If anybody wants to reach me, my livejournal is still updated from time to time:

[link]
Since .tk domains are a bit like drawing a picture in sand, here's the direct adress as well:
[link]

It's mainly in norwegian, but there's a bilingual entry every once in a while.

If anybody wants to check out the school I attend now, it's online at [link] Anyone who frequents this place should consider applying at their photography line. Norway is a beautiful place peeps, and has one of the finest educational systems in the world!

If there is one thing I love, it's personal emails, so if anybody wants to reach me directly, try aflo at online dot no.

And if there is one thing I love more, it's actual mail. Cards, letters, fast cash, anything you can fit in a manilla envelope, just send it to:

I'm buying a new SLR, because the two I have right now are a bit crummy: one is out of battery which, makes the mirror jam, (and I can't open the battery lid) and the other doesn't show the lightmeter, which makes it sort of a guessing match what aperature it chooses. In addition, there's a motherload of dust in the first one.

The new camera is an used Pentax Super-A, (sometimes called Super-program) and it comes with a winder, a teleconverter, a 50 mm, a 28 mm, and a 70-210 zoom. I'm fairly excited, but I don't know when it will arrive, as we haven't agreed on shipping yet.

Here's the manual, if you want to take a peek:
http://www.qsl.net/wd8rif/camera_manuals /super-program_manual.htm

Haven´t written much lately, things have been busy, and I have just been plain lazy.

To me, the idea that we should force ourselves up at 7 AM or earlier, when it´ s still dark, is just ridiculous! Especially now, in the winter, when it doesn´t get light until around 9.30. I was late to school today, and when I went from home at 10, it was so much more cozy. It wasn´t cold, and the sun had just risen, shining on my face. Beautiful.

So, what I´m saying is: I get grumpy and lazy in the wintertime. And as such, I don´t have the energy to be as active on internet.

On a more positive note, me, ~kakskiv and ~sir-suckalot have finally gotten our darkroom up! It´s a bit quirky still, and it takes a lot of time to get a proper exposure. We use from 1.5 to 2 minutes on a ordinary 13*18 pic. That´s a lot of time! If anybody out there has got an idea what may be causing this, I´m all ears. I´m fairly certain that the paper and developer is OK, so I think there is something with the light-machine...

We won two tickets to Hultsfred, Sweden, the only concert Radiohead are doing in scandinavia this year!!! We agreed that we were going to share the expences for the third ticket, which means that I'M GOING TO SEE RADIOHEAD!!! And then I went and whined at the managers because I hadn't won anything, and they gave me a T-Shirt and an Amnesiac Special Edition Book and CD! Woooohooooo!!!!!!---

Recently, I saw the campy scifi show Les Mondes Engloutis (pardon my french...), also referred to as Shagma/Arcadia. Does anybody remember this? I sure didn't, as I was barely born when this originally aired in Norway. But it is definetely some of the most surreal things I've ever seen. Esp. since I don't speak any French!

Anyway, the songs where what really made me watch it. I first downloaded La Danse des Pirates, and it's really catchy! Since I hadn't seen it yet, I fell in love with the sexy, purring french pirate. I was very disappointed when it turned out she was a *fat*, old ballerina clad hag, who jumped around and had a weird hairdo. In my mind, she will always be a sexy, red haired piratelass...

The summer vacation is approaching fast, but first there is the annual crossclass examination in Art and Design. Each year, we are given a theme one week in advance, then we have two days to produce something. Luckily, the whole process is evaluated, so even if you don't finish, you have a good chance of scoring high.

The killer, however, is the third day. In 5 hours, you have to write a full report, analyzing your work, AND write a paper on a random theme from what we have learned in Art History the last year... That's one completely random subject from 2000 years of art history!!! How can you prepare for something like that? ---
