I know it's a "late" journal to some across the world, but I've been up maybe...2hrs if that thanks to a little 7yr old sister flying around waking up people to kill the presents

I figured I go ahead and post what my user name means, even though I have once already

My last is "Mack" so that is where the first part of my name comes from.

the attack..well....When I was back in California, I used to go to the Boys And Girls club during my summer vacations, since parents still worked of course. So! I remember the secretary there being all. "You're last name is mack?!? Do you Mack attack the ladies?!?" *giggle giggle giggle*..and of course i was all wtf?!? Well I guess mack was "slang" for making out back in the day lol....so when I moved to Texas and made my first ever e-mail..it was Mack_attack23. so there is the "attack" part of my name

The 23 was in reference to my jersey # when I started playing football, when I moved to texas. The reason for the #23 is because I just had moved from California, now I'm in Texas..brand new to the town I living in. No friends. I wanted the #31 but the school football team didn't have the number, so I went with #23 because my best friend from California is a HUGE Michael Jordan fan. So I figured I'd get it, because at the time, I had no friends in this town, so why not remember an old friend

So there you go. Mack (last name) attack (slang), 23 (in ref. to a friend)

So, Cynthia and I are back from the festive Thanksgiving vacation.
We got to see my mom and step dad, and my brother from cali even flew out.
It was nice to sit back for a few days and relax. Of course it went by waaayyyyyy to quick!

Went hunting as well which was a first in forever, but saw nothing so Bambi lived to see another day.
Go figure after we left it started snowing. Where I'm from, we very rarely get snow, my mom is telling me the weather channel is saying possibly 8inches..8 INCHES!!!! ...I've never seen 8 inches of snow in that town..ever...ever ever. Maybe 2 inches...8? wtf!?!?
God has a sense of humor it seems

Cynthia and I are back in the small town I grew up in, celebrating with family. It was a good 8hr drive. Coulda taken longer but I know where cops are at So it's nice. Might actually do some black friday shopping for the first time in my life. Maybe some hunting (if my gun works) and yeah yeah yeah.

If you haven't noticed I didn't do "What Are You Thankful For" Contest this year. I'm sorry for that. As everyone pretty much knows money has become tight all over the world, and last year there wasn't much interest in it sadly =/, not to mention work has been kicking my butt all over the place. I'm sorry for not doing it this year, but maybe next year.

Anyhow. Hope everyone has a safe and great holiday. Remember that family is amazing. One of the biggest thing I think we take for granted. Remember to give thanks to them today. Have fun, don't get too full, and don't do anything I would

So..It looks like I'm getting back into comic collecting thanks to *squible. All this talk about em from him and now I'm hooked. I'm trying to get the x-23 series, but finding it hard to do...prob just gonna get the TPB of the mini-series. I also jumped onto Witchblade. Got Witcblade Origins vol-1,2 TPB and just Witchblade vol-1 TPB. We shall see how that goes.

If you have any ideas/suggestions on a series that just started and I should check out let me know. I know I'll prob get some of the HellBoy stuff as well as Hellblazer, since both Squible and :lyesmith: mentioned em. I also ordered the new psylocke mini-series so #1 should be coming my way next week, and then I'll have to wait it out for a bit till #2 drops.

Anyhow...
Not much else going on it seems. Thanksgiving is coming. Gotta figure out to get what for who...heck I have so many people on dA on my list it's insane.

Anyhow. I shall now shut up and go bash my head into something

Fist thing first

Thank you everyone that wished me a happy birthday on my page. I was going to respond to each one of you, but then I figured I'd be reported for spam, or my hands would fall off, so I went this way. It's amazing to be a part of a community that gives so much love . Thanks guys again.

So, if you haven't noticed, I was born on this day, back in '85. I am now 24. How I made it this far is way beyond me. I'm pretty sure it's because I stay away from kryptonite.

Last night, Cynthia and I get a call that the local radio station we just started volunteering for (K-Love/Air-One) call us asking for "back-up" for the Jeremy Camp concert. They told us when we signed up that they wouldn't need us for it, but that changed . It was a dream for Cynthia, as she is more "hardcore" into that music then I. So anyhow, we got to hand out Air-One/K-Love propaganda and such. This lady walks up, gives Cynthia and I green wrists bands. BOOM we are now VIPs lol. We just didn't know it. Cynthia was able to go meet/greet Jeremy Camp, I stayed behind and watched the table because the two other volunteers (like our bosses) wanted to meet him two and someone had to stay behind . Cynthia came back jumping around lol, she got something signed for me by Jeremy saying happy b-day. It was cool.

We found out our VIP wristbands also got us to go to the very front of the concert and literally be right next to the stage. It was pretty epic indeed. Jeremy went even as far as to sit down on the stage and just talk to us. No one tried running up and touching him, tackling him ect. Christian concerts are so much different lol. It was nice. It was an amazing night, and while Cynthia says it could be my birthday gift, it wasn't. Seeing her smile that big, be that happy, to be able to get to meet someone who she "loves", that was my b-day gift. It was totally worth taking off work early. and getting my ass chewed for it.

Anyhow I will hush now. Cynthia is spoiling me. Thank you again guys for the birthday wishes. Much love.
