Sacred 2 Marketing Trailer

Another piece I directed for the Ascaron game Sacred 2. I am also the mocap actor for the dude in the dress.

After doing a major re-light and re-composite for this piece, the client released the original submitted version. Both versions were good, but this kind of thing happens so often in the game industry - and people wonder why games are so expensive to produce.

Direction; layout; shaders on the dead bodies and main character; modeled the main character's head and textured the face as well as doing the emotes.

There is a real air of YEAAAH! about this trailer for Ascaron's action prequel Sacred 2: Fallen Angel - as if they hired a 15 year old KISS fan to direct and kept him well stocked with energy drinks and popping candy.

There is no option 'c' here. I guess I'm asking if anyone has ever left negative comments. I have seen some pages that have been absolutely hammered and wondered how the artist felt about it.

I don't know why it took me so long to get around to doing this series. They're so much fun!

Drawing a lot at work at the moment - storyboards with endless revisions, doing lots of thumbnails. Outsourcing lots of the drudge work has freed me up to be more creative and concentrate on the art direction.
