Ct Con came and went. I was only around for two days. I had fun mostly because I was making cosplayers do stupid tricks for my amusement. I just find the standard peace sign kind of boring. I love it when cosplayers just go out of the "norm" and have fun. It really makes for an interesting picture.

The highlights at the con for me was seeing FF6 cosplayers (FTW!!), Etoh from Lodoss Wars and having some of Kurt's friends drag me to talk about GOH - Hero Envy because I was wearing their shirt on day two.

Other than that, Kurt bought me a Wii so I've been happily playing Fire Emblem and the thoughts of a possible fan fiction running in my head. Possible because I do love to write, yet, I'm just lazy when trying to finish.

I recently saw with Kurt, "Tropic Thunder" that made me laugh so hard. I kind of want to watch it again.

And, I do have some projects lined up that I hope to start soon. So, thank you for watching me and favoring my works. It really brings a smile.

I had so much fun playing Marth and Ike. I even (with luck) unlocked Sonic after it took everyone so many tries. This really sets the bar for the series because there's so much to do and with the wifi connection more fun to be had.

I didn’t attend AB due to staffing issues. I wanted to go to hang out with some great people, but, their always next year.

I’m going to hit NYC in June just for a day to see the sights again now that the weather is just peachy. I also want to hit Boston a few times and maybe walk around Providence.

I am going to Cape Cod next month with my family so I’ll be uploading whatever pictures I take that I find interesting. I think my little sister is going so I can drag her along and make her model.

I'm about to do battle to rescue the princess where I have to level up my characters, equip runes, meds and other fun stuff. I'm no where near the end, but, more like the middle.

In art news, I've been messing around with Open Canvas and drawing really strange stuff. Mostly for my coworkers. I am starting a series that might help me with it. She seemed pretty into the idea so I'll start once we both have time.

I also plan on bringing my camera to work so I can just take pictures. I also need to pre-reg for Anime Boston. Is anyone else going?

Ellensama is attending a con in Ohio so she leaving tomorrow afternoon and will return Monday or Tuesday morning. A few friends are asking why I didn’t go and all I tell them is that I didn’t want to. I rather go to Ohio and just meet Vi without going to con unless she wanted to go. Besides, my big trip is Florida in October with Ellen and my mom. I so can’t wait for that.

We have been dead a lot at my job so I've been sketching a lot for practice. I'm currently doing chibi heads of one of my favorite FF characters. Of course, if you noticed that my user name is Magitek than you'll know the character. If not, you’ll have to wait until I post it or maybe I won’t. *whistle*

I think I’m my own worst critic of my art. I know I can draw, but, I feel my art isn’t where I want it to be so I hardly show anyone. I mostly show Ellensama and my boss, Mary, my doodles because they are both artists’ just different mediums. I get pointers and wonderful encouragement from them and their simple words help.

I also been feeling very depressed and no matter how hard I try to maintain happiness it fades just as quickly. My father was killed in a car accident on 12-11-02 while my mother watched it all. The holidays bring out memories and pain that I try to keep hidden and even writing this I feel the tears falling across my cheeks. I was going to post something on his anniversary, but, the words wouldn’t come.

The only reason why I’m posting this is to ask for a small favor. No one has to do this, but, if you guys could light a smile candle in memoriam of my father. I would be so very much appreciated and it would mean a lot to me and my family.

This post is become emo so I’ll end it here. I’ll be uploading some old pictures soon as well as new ones.

Otakon was a mixed bag for me. I had so much fun hanging out with Chiko and her friends on Saturday and Chiko pretty much the whole weekend (can't forget her friend Ivy who I want her to draw me a picture and I'll pay).

The highlight was going to see Yoshiki's pannel and seeing some girl kiss him on the lips. O_O We (chiko and friends) waited three hours for an autograph only to not get one due to the staff not doing their job or planning things better. Yoshiki, though, was so sweet and went around shaking his fans' hands so I got to shake his hand twice and got a great picture of this musical god.

I bought two new books of Japanese Horror yesterday. “Parasite Eve” by HideakI Sena and “Ring” volume one by Koju Suzuki. I started reading the Ring and can’t wait to buy the second and third volume. Must get more money from tips to purchase. Must kiss ass to earn shiny coins to buy manga and books.

Shadow Hearts - From the new world is coming out soon. I need to buy that and other games that have escaped me clutches. So, I need to save and have a gaming orgy of pretty graphics that show me the horrors of loving game characters.
