ok well as some of you may not know i recently bought some dread falls!
I reallize some of you might not know what they are but basically they are synthetic hair twisted into dreads and they look really cool I will have pics up soon hopefully

well anyway, i decided to wear them to this school variety show thing. I had gotten several compliments on them throughout the night so things were going pretty well...untill the end. lol So here i am standing with my group of friends and when this chick comes over,apparently my sis and knew who she was, and idk what in gods name gave her the idea that she had the right to come over and talk to us but anyway, she does and says to me "umm hi. i just wanted to know what possesed you to do your hair like that." So i am standing there and i didnt say anything back cuz i was in shock that people like her actually existed. so she goes "well i just wanted to let you know that i think the're freaky and really ugly." HAHAHAHAHAH! XD so anyway i didn't even have to say anything! my friends totally attacked her! said something along the lines of "thank you, your oppinion will be considered," and my sis was like "don't insult my sister" so she is like backing away realizing that we could totally take her XD and says "well i was just expressing my oppinion." and i didnt hear her say this but apparently my sister heard her say that they "offended her" or something completely rediculous like that because how can hair offend someone ..? ahaha so then shoves her out of our little circle and of course this sends her into a hissy fit.

so after she left we were all coming up with these great comebacks we could have said to her like "i want to know what possesed you to think you should walk outside with that face!" XD

well anyway it was really stupid and hillarious because if i honestly cared about peoples oppinions i would not walk out of the house with dreads on my head XD but yeah i knew that was coming eventually so...yep. haha it was just really funny

my life update

Band:
WOO! yeah! yay for band! XD anyway soo...we started mini-camp (3 days a week) and we are having band camp starting august 17th. hopefully it won't be too hot, and we wont use our freaking black top field

School:
we just got our school schedules and its been like non stop calling, texting and facebooking friends trying to compare schedules XD. so im taking all the core classes obviously (geometry, english, biology, american cultures) and gym and health which are also required . i am also taking german 4 (which i have with my sis and like 2 of my friends ) and german 5. the other electives i got are fundementals of design (which i really would rather not take...i am not really an artist..i know thats stupid to say on an art site...but im a different kind of artist than what they have you do in that class.) anyway and finally i have history of american film wich everyone says i will love so i am kind of excited for that

My art:
ok..so i havent really been taking pics..and i havent really been writing...but incase you havent noticed i absolutely looooove photoshop!(i got it for my b-day finally!) so yeah i'll be doing some new manips and stuff and hopefully with the help of 's photoshop tutorials i will get better ^^

and tomorrow, we are going to gettysburg! im so excited! since we studied the civil war in cultures this year ive really gotten into it. we went there for a field trip in 5th grade and pretty much that is where my love of history and the military came about, so its so nice to be going back :3 the one thing i remember the most is the wall of rifles they had on display in the museum. Its gonna be so different to go back because i have a totally new respect for it...plus i just read the killer angels and i want to see where it actually happened since i now have a pretty good understanding of the batte. anyway so yeah im really excited to see where my passion for all things old and miltary came from

so, yeah just an update on my life...

school is officially out! booooo
everyone seems to be freaking out like omg summer is so great and its fianlly here, sure its great to have some free time...but now i have too much free time! all ive been doing for the past two days is watching tv from 9:30 am to 7 pm. doesnt that sound exciting

well today we had a kind-of-ish change of schedule which consisted of cleaning (which i was happy to do for once cuz i have been dying of bordome for the past few days) and i also did alot of reading. my fav book the killer angels

on the last few days of school, in my cultures class, we watched the lost batallion. its not a very well known movie...i think it was made for T.V. but it is DELICIOUS! XD i ordered it yesterday and i can not wait to get it!

and of course now that school is over i no longer have access to photoshop i did make this 1 last photo in that class that i think is my best yet and i really like it but when i went to submitt it on DA i realized that one of the pics i used is not a stock picture >.< and i was stupid enough to compress the file so it does not have layers anymore so i cannot simply delete the layer! its so anoying so now i have to wait untill i get photoshop and recreate the whole thing it is very angering...

so yeah, that is pretty much my life right now. i have a few parties to go to this week and i am trying to get my parents to make plans to go to gettysburg in a few weeks but idk how thats gonna go so wish me luck w/ that XD

sooooo here is what i have so far (this is mostly for those people like and who actually kind of know these stories)...

back from Boston

so for our school music trip we got to go to Boston

We left school Tuesday afternoon and drove about 9 hours to get to our hotel! so we all didnt get to bed untill like 1:00 and we had to get up at 6 the next morning and it was the same way the next night. we deffinately did not get enough sleep to preform well on Saturday...anyway, so on friday we got up and jumped on the bus and went to the boston naval yard! omg it was so cool. we went on a WWII destroyer, the Cassin Young. It was so pretty ^^ haha. then we walked the freedom trail. but we were kindof pressed for time there so we didnt really get to spen alot of time on any of the things on the trail Then we had lunch at Quincey market and went to see a lame imax movie. Honestly, it wasnt that interesting and since we all got like 5 hours of sleep the night before we all just slept though it. haha. after that we left the city so sad. (idk why but i love the city ) so we then went to plymoth plantation where we, again, had little time. after that we went to dinner at this other hotel where we had a dance thing...but me and my friends hate dances and anything of the kind so me and 6 other people chilled in the tiny 3 stall bathroom. haha. it was pretty funy to see the look on peoples faces when they walked in. they were like wtf...

...so yeah. then the next day we slept through some choir and orchastra preformances, did our parade routine, and drove 9 hours back to Lancaster (we spend almost 24 hours on a bus the whole trip )

but yeah, i loved it. especially the city! i asked my mom to go back sometime so maybe we could actually spend some time there instead of running arround like crazy people

so i am working on putting up pictures from our trip which would have been more but my camera picks the greatest times to die. i was so pissed off. a photographer without a camera. what good is that?

yaaaaaaay! spring is finaly here! I just felt like sharing my excitement with all of yall.

so yesterday we had our first spring storm. There was hail, and even a possible tornado but afterwards it was so pretty outside! i grabbed my camera and when on a photo spree! i just submitted like 15 of my new pics from after the storm.

anyway, aside from the spring spaz...im like freaking out because my friends boyfriend has a sister in the air force and he is coming home tomorrow and i was spazing out so he brought me back a bunch of videos and pictues of planes and of the base and stuff. he even got me a letter from his sister to me! haha. for those of you who dont know, im like totally obsessed with the military and would deffinately join the air force but i just dont have the guts so i guess ill just have to marry a guy in the air force to get a feel for what its like

so yeah, thats pretty much it for now. i was just so excited when i woke up this morning and i heard the birds chirping and it felt like spring

ok im like totally drowning in awsome webcomics lately. haha. ive been so obsesed, so anyway, these are all the webcomics that have been occupying my life for the past few months...

ZAP - im sure you have heard me ramble on about this one in my previous journals...i have to say this is probably my favorite at the moment . this here webcomic is created by the lovely here on deviantart and it updates every monday. This comic is great because you can see the art progress and change. in the begining its very simple rough art but now it is freaking amazing sexy art! lol so yes, it is addicting. read it! [link]

strays - an adorable little comic about crazy awsome wolf/human beings. this comic is done by two artists- and this comic updates every friday with 1 page. it has great expressions, thats one of the things i love about it ^^ [link]

the dreamer - being a history fanatic, i am drawn to this one. I pretty sure this is the first webcomic i got hooked on. It is done by who is very sweet i actualy am the co-creator of club nathan! nathan hale is a charachter in the story and was a spy during the revolutionary war hee hee. check us out and please visit the comic site [link] they update every friday with 2 pages btw

so as im sure you've heard...school is no more for a few months.
It kinda sucks though cuz i cant go swimming for a while cuz i have an ear infecton and i cant go to the mall cuz i dont have any money . the first few weeks of summer are always really boring. However, i am in the colorguard this year so i'll be doin band all sumer its gonna be awsome

so we just finished taking finals and today was our last day of class. kinda releived but also kinda sad . im gonna miss my school and all the teachers, a corse my sister insists that i miss it wont miss it later on and thats probably true but what ever so, we on have two days left and fore those days we pretty much laze arround and do nothing MY FAVORITE THING TO DO!

tonight i have to go to this band meeting for all the "n00bs" to do basics which are not ganna be fun when you have sore muscles from laser tag . anyway i just felt like tellin yall that

colorguard and careeer shadowing

so this is pretty much a recap of the whole week

so, as i said in my previous journal, i was going on a church retreat last weekend. It was amazing. I went with my sister and my freind. We had so much fun. It was a real shame that it was only for the weekend...oh well

moving on
so colorguard is going pretty awsomely but for the first day of practice i had to come an hr late because our school feild trip ran a little late. i didnt miss anything though so that was good but then the second day of practice, i had to leave early and then come back because of this lame concert that i was frced to go to. So i only got to learn like half of the audition rutine. fortunately, my freind was able to teach me the end of it. but, unfortunatly, my other freind dropped out (the loser > grr)

and career shadowing day was awsome
i shadowed a photographer and pertty much got tot take pictures all day with a proessional camera they had a photo shoot and stuff set up and i got to take some pics out side too.
just a heads up to all my watchers- there at alot of pics! so be prepated your gonna have alot of deviations. Hope you like them :3

oh, except for the fair we had at out school
its called the fun fest but frankly i found it kinda borin(course im always bored...)i was pretty much just waiting for my freind to get of this one ride the whole time. As soon as she got off she got back in line ugg oh well! it was still fun
