I don't do well with communicating in pretty much anything but face-to-face. I, like, never respond to e-mails or forward them, I always forget to respond to notes and messages of Facebook, don't even get me started on replying to favorites and comments on deviantART....

So, I don't do it often. I'll try to do better. But I probably won't improve. Heads up.

Anyway...

I started school over a month ago. Not fun. Hectic. Doing okay in my classes, though.

Around the middle of last week I was in the middle of replying to a roleplay when our fridge broke down and we had to transfer all the food in, like, 10 minutes. The day after that, I got sick - NOT SWINE, FOR THE MILLIONETH TIME, but 102-fevers, chills, sore throat, hacking cough, etc. etc. I guess there's something going around. Now I have about five billion things to catch up on. Wish me luck.

Also, if you were the person I was replying to, don't expect a reply soon, as the case of events seems to be preventing me from doing much.

Finally, the hoglets have offical, going-to-stick names:

- Spartacus (Brave one who has an agression problem)
-Velcro (Scared one who gets stuck to things a lot)
- Samoa (One with really intricant design on his back)
- Sam (Sleepy one - randomly named)

Okay. Okay. Let me start from the beginning.

Most of you know we've been fearing the pregnancy of Rosie the hedgehog for a while now.
This morning, my mom goes in to check on them. They are acting extremely strange; Doug is trying to burrow under Rosie and/or climb on top of her, and Rosie is frantic, dragging blankets around the bag they sleep in.
Me and my mother hope they're just trying to mate, that Doug is too young to know how to, and that they can only mate in the dark, which would explain the blankets.

About six or seven hours ago, my mom comes in and tells me we need to separate Doug and Rosie because Rosie is holed up in the bag. This is EXTREMELY strange - normally Doug hides in the bag while Rosie runs out to greet us. So, we separate them and put Doug in his own 'bachelor pad'. For some 'weird' reason, Doug is extremely depressed and stressed, so I give him a bath to calm him down [which actually stresses him out more but that's not the point, he fell asleep afterwards]

Not too long ago, my mom carefully and quietly walked out of the hedgehog room, looked at me, and said "Rosie had babies."
I went, "What?!", not believing her
and lo and behold, I go in to check on her [in ninja mode, mind you] and these little high-pitched squeaks come from the bag. She leaves the bag - and the squeaks continue.

I about had a heart attack of cuteness and terror.

We can't disturb them for another ten days, the day school starts, or else Rosie eats the babies.
(BEFORE YOU FREAK OUT!!! View this from the viewpoint of a wild hedgehog: If there's a predator, and the mother hedgehogs are too weak to defend the babies, she'd better 'reabsorb' the nutrients she just spent giving birth or else not only will the babies die, so will she. This way, there's a much larger chance of there being another litter.)

If I were to guess, I'd say there were 3 babies.

BUT THERE'S NOT SMELLY FOOTBALL PLAYERS AROUND MY LOCKER THIS YEAR!!!!

I have a female above me, and then a friend diagonal to my locker, and then a person I KIND of know next to me. No idea about the other side.

BUT NO BOYS WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE DEODERANT!!!

annnnd that's about all I know thus far. XD We don't get to know who our teachers are until the first day of school (WHICH IS SO DUMB but hey who asked me) so...yeah. :/

In other news, there is no way for me to catch up on deviations. D: Sorry guys, I just was on two trips and when I got back there were, like, 50 deviations a piece and I just can't do it. D: Sorry.

I've just been soooo freakin' busy!!! DX It's like, everybody wants to hang out right before school starts.

anyhoo, what else? Um...I got my ears pierced. XD

Anyhoo, we went down to the gulf where my dad counted and over the course of the week, I met up with 52 friends and relatives. 8D;;...yeah. Who knew I had so many deep south relatives!!! ><;;

...Hmm...what to put next? Well, over the course of the week I managed to lose not only my favorite cross, but also potentially my wallet - containing all the money I have. Yep, all 8 dollars of it. Not only that, but one of my only two pairs of jeans ripped, as did the strap of one of the only dresses I own (had to wear it for the fourth of july), and my cell phone acquired the lovely new habit of shutting down WITH NO WARNING and then refusing to turn back on, no matter the amount of charge.

But I had fun! I got to sleep over with my cousin Hannah and her five siblings, hung out with my mom and dad's friend's son, Ramsey, whom I only see twice a year, got a cool keychain, M&M headphones, a notebook, two random books, and THE MOST AWESOME AIRBRUSHED SHIRT EVER!!! 8D We asked them to do a really...different design. XDD It's a hedgehog in the middle, and it says 'Love Hurts: Ask a Hedgehog'. :3

Speaking of hedgehogs, I think I'm going to go try and give Rosie and Doug a footbath. Wish me luck!

Rosie scurried into the tunnel almost immediately after we put her down, and then we were cleaning out the bag and giving Doug some love since Rosie was given special treatment (Crickets and lots of holding), and Doug had the sudden hunkering to go into the tunnel, too. So all we can see is Rosie's back from the hole in the tunnel, when she suddenly spikes up RIGHT when Doug passes. Then, he turns around, and me and my mom are cleaning up when suddenly...

One. of. them.

SCREAMED.

I mean, like, a mouse screaming. (Look it up if you've never heard it and wish to know.) So I panicked again and was about to drag Doug out when he ran out of there like there was fire on his heels.

D; Poor Rosie. She's normally so sweet and loving and now she's all...unhappy.

In other news, they're beginning to use the litterbox.

(Oh, and Micheal Jackson is dead. Just in case you didn't hear.)

Let me tell you, it's been...exciting? I suppose that's what you would call it. I've found papers back from FIFTH grade...tons of old cards...like I've mentioned, a MILLION pictures I need to scan in. and I will. before I forget. There's even a folder of 'Stuff I need to show/give back to Natalie', which consists of a bunch of pictures that either drew, or we started a bunch of inside jokes about. (Natalie! I found the Illusion and rock picture! 8D ANNND my old math notebook! Which means ORIGINAL TAP-DANCING BLIZZ!)

Not only that, but my computer crashed sometime in the middle of all this. Again. Double- So I'm allowed to get on my mom's, but I prefer to only do so when there's nobody else in the room, so...lord knows when I'll be on next. XD I can find a slot pretty much every day, tho, so it shouldn't be so bad. However, it's slow, so I can't play yooyuball until my old comp is fixed!!! DXXX -pwn'd-

Man this summer has been so boring. Sigh. Oh well, I'm going to a pool party in two days. and possibly seeing UP tomorrow. Any reviews?

OH!!! AND PRIDE AND PREJUDICE ROCKED IN A WAY THAT IS UNDENIABLY AWESOME. <3 I want my own Mr. Darcy now, hee.

Okay, no beating around the bush: I officially suck at being an online friend. It's like "Hey everyone! ......okay it's been five minutes see you in two months." Seriously. and do I EVER comment on jack-squat? I don't think so.

So! Here's my new-summer resolutions:

*EVERY deviation I get in my deviant-watch WILL be commented on. No if, ands, or buts. If it's not on the day it's submitted, it will be SOON afterward.

* If I can handle the above, I do believe I will take up Melissa's post-a-day project and see if I can handle that, too, without being a lazy little....urp and forgetting.

* Respond to Christine and my roleplay without being an urp and forgetting!!! ><

* I think I've covered not being an urp.

That's just concerning this issue. I have other resolutions, trust me. XDDD

Anyway, last day was uneventful, except apparently the band director was fired at our school for something-or-other. I thought everybody hated her, but apparently she was one of the best directors the school ever had, becuase I saw more than one band kid with a horrified expression, acting like a zombie, or crying. it was crazy.

Okay, using Garin! ^^

1#: Jordyn actually gave me Garin. -hugs her- It was really spontaneous, and totally awesome. and on that note, Tana actually gave me Garin's petpet, her Drackonack. His old name was 'Sarcastic' but it failed to fit, so I changed it to 'Blood'. XD

2#: Garin was originally supposed to be nice...she actually was, the first ten minutes I introduced her to the guild. Then, I took a shower (which is, of course, where most brilliant ideas evolve) and started to really think about her, and slowly her personality kind of morphed into what it is today. In fact, sometimes that little period of time still comes into play in roleplays - I've actually said something along the lines of 'back when Garin was nice' when Chester was describing something.

3#: I played with the idea of Garin having a little brother for a reeeeally long time, but then Ayame came along and I was just like "...eh. Bye brother, hello sister.". I also considered making her dad an actual character, but I don't think anybody would quite warm up to him.

4#: I have kind of a theory that Garin might've been labbed at some point in time, but I'm not sure. I'm just basing that off of her name. XD

5#: Okay, confession time: I sincerly apologize to anybody who ever first roleplayed with me and Garin, because I COULD NOT DO EVIL. Seriuosly, I just...fail at evil. So, eventually it morphed into what it is today (again): she keeps a 'tough','don't mess with me punk' exterior and lets her past attempts at evil set a reputation, but that's just to keep people away. Why? In case she ever needs to let go of them, as in, her dad shows up again and she has to leave to make sure nobody gets hurt. However, if you try to break this wall, she'll only push back stronger and harder - she has to let it down herself to let anybody in.

1) I got some fishes called Glo-Fish that look like this: [link] . Of course this isn't actually them, but it's close enough. GloFish are extra special in the fact that they are genetically mutated - as in, made in a lab. Scientists took normal Zebrafish and spliced Coral and Jellyfish DNA onto theirs to make them have a neon effect, and they are totally AWESOME. Not only that, they glow under a blacklight! They also recieved a tank-cleaner named Speedster who is a golden mystery snail. ([link]) who is also awesome and likes food. :3

2) I went to a band concert recently AND WAS TOTALLY AMAZED. Band ROCKS! I LOVE listening to Dr. Rockenstein! I even recorded it! (On my cellphone, but whatever...) Not only that, but about five of my friends got awards! Kelsey, Gurden, Caitlyn, and Morgan aren't on DA, but got a leadership award, so go congratulate her on not making a ruckus in band! 8D

3) As some of you may know, my great-Aunt Pat died...but I'm not going to dwell on that in this journal.

4) I have begun guitar lessons, and totally suck, but am making progress. Sadly, I can never be in Jazz Band, even though I REALLY wanted to by 9th grade; apparently you have to have a year of band first, which I don't have. ;( Sigh.

5) I am working on/finished about 5 projects for English in the past two weeks.

6) I am more than likely not make Algebra next year, and that saddens me. ):

7) I am trying desperately to get inspiration for a reply to me and Christine's roleplay, and for Amy's prize STILL, but I totally have NOTHING as of yet.

My sister came home.

Not cool enough for you? Okay, try this one on for size:

I didn't know her until about a year ago.

and she's 23 now.

Yeah. Apparently, my mom had a kid when she was younger. She was too young to keep it, so she had to put the baby up for adoption...about a year ago, I was google searching my mom's name, when it came up on an adoption certificate thing, and she finally told me that I had a half-sister. Then, about two months ago, Megan found the same certificate and called up my mom.

She's called Megan, but her official name is (get this) Mary, from her other family. How weird is that? Also, she's a teacher - and looks exactly like my mom. I didn't know she was coming to meet us until about three weeks ago - so, sorry for dissapearing. I was kind of overwhelmed for a little while, with school, and normal middle school drama stuff, and now that.

Megan doesn't feel at all like my sister. She feels more like...a cousin. Or an old friend of my mom. Like, I know I'm supposed to know her, but she's just...not my sister. Maybe she will be someday, but most definetly, not now.

It's just crazy. Crazy.

I don't know how to describe all this...it's like, part of your world tipping sideways.

I still only have one brother and sister. To me. They were here to laugh with me, stuff like that. Megan's just a stranger.

But she's my half sister, and I'm almost afraid to get to know her.

It's just so weird. I can't wrap my head around it.

1. There was an acorn, in my back corner of my closet, in a jar, in one of my remaining penguin socks, behind a bunch of books, that I saved only due to the fact I saw a faint root poking out of it and thought it deserved to live. I had it hidden for five months straight, and before I told you guys, only two people knew about it.

2. I have very frequent nosebleeds. and they always drip. and people have begun to know me as 'Bloody Mary' and 'that girl with the nosebleeds.'

3. Honest to goodness, me and my dad always walk around at home with only ONE sock on. See, if I have on both, my feet are too hot. and with neither, they're too cold, so...

4. I've recently realized I act so much at school, nobody believes me when I tell them I'm just acting.

Yeah, I’m back from family festivities. My grandma’s house was crazy the second day, but calm the first, so we went Christmas shopping (I admit it; I’m one of the those people who never do anything about Christmas until a couple of days before.)
The second day, everyone came over and opened presents, etc. etc, ate…
I hung out with my cousins for a long time, played hide and seek, the traditional classics…then I went over to my aunt Brooke’s house and played with Reese, a seven-year-old with a mean karate kick, and Trey, this innocent little three-year-old bouncing ball of excitement.

So, here’s in all what I got for Christmas thus far:

-A gift card to Hobby Lobby
-Socks (No, seriously. They’re comfy, though, if idiot-proof.)
-A two dollar bill (SWEETNESS! Why’d you let those go out of circulation?!)
-A McDonald’s gift card (…I have no idea WHEN I’m going to use this.)
-Fifty dollars, which I feel really guilty about, because thirty of that came from my Aunt Brooke, whom also got me fifteen dollars at McDonald’s, and I was too late in coming up with words to thank you and she guessed…so, she gave my cards to my brother, the endless black hole stomach of a teenager, and gave me thirty dollars instead, since Rob now had thirty….
- Then, the most interesting of them all. This is how it went:

Me: -watching TV-

Trey: -comes in and hands me something very hard and rectangle shaped, covered in Toilet paper and tape, with sharpie all over it in messy handwriting and a little gold bow- Here!

Me: …Why, thank you, Trey. –flips it over- What is this?

Trey: I got it from Luigi’s Mansion, and covered it in tissue paper with a pretty bow! Can’t you read it? –oints to sharpie writing- It says ‘Luigi’s Mansion’…

Me: Oh! Oh, I see, right. Well…can I open it?

Trey: Yes! It’s for you! From Luigi!

Me: Right, naturally, if it’s from his mansion…-begins to rip open toilet paper-

Trey: YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG, here let me help you…-also begins ripping-

Present: -now unwrapped, reveals to be a small plank of wood covered in black crayon with some red-

Which means I'll be the only one IN my class...and with my luck, they'll probably cancel my class because of that, and I'll be transferred to the class nobody knew about or worse, EVERYONE knew about EXCEPT for me and didn't sign up for and it'll be called 'Cleaning the Band's Spit Valves' and I'll have to clean the band's spit valves with a toothbrush and then one day, I'll be in there cleaning when suddenly, out of NOWHERE, everyone will turn into zombies, grab their instruments, and try to kill me. But it won't work, and all it'll do is give me extreme brain damage, to the point I'm mute and can't operate my pencil or a keyboard correctly, so I'll fail all of my classes. and then I'll be sitting in the back of the graduating class in ninth grade, and everybody will graduate and toss their caps with the fuzzy pompom things RIGHT AT ME and I'll graduate only eight years later, and by then everyone will of left (hometown) and I'll be in a deserted city.
So I'll move to New York, only I'll only be able to get a job as an ORCHESTRA spit valve cleaner/instrument shiner where EVERYBODY is the same zombie-people as in seventh/eighth/ninth grade and will all be married and have 2.5 kids, and a happy zombie household, but ME? No, the non-zombie-spit-valve-cleaner-slash-shiner will be forced to live under the Saxophone, Second Chair, third row seat at night and will have too many instruments to clean at day and therefore will have to no life, and will eventually attempt suicide but instead breaks both my legs, making me unable to run and then, THREE SECONDS AFTER I TRY TO COMMIT SUICIDE a mugger comes and because I can't say "No, I don't have any stinking money, I'm a spit valve cleaner!!!" AND I can't run and OF COURSE I STILL DON'T HAVE A CELL PHONE, they'll stab me and throw me into a frozen pond, and I'll die an unmarried, non-zombie, retarded spit valve cleaner that's now frozen AND stabbed.

All this...because I didn't get anyone else in my class.

It's almost Christmas! It feels like yesterday I was terrified to enter the doors of middle school, and now...now I'm here. and...I like it. A lot.

Well, except for Finals. Still, I'm handling it a lot better than Last year. That, my friend, was BAD.

Y'know, my journals are like...my actual journal. It's scary. I have...everything from the time I entered SIXTH grade.

I just can't believe it's less than ten days till Christmas. I still haven't done my christmas shopping. >3<;;

A) A new computer chair, since mine's back snapped off - we had a spare one.

Does it hit anybody else here how historic this election is? We had our options: A woman, a white man, or the first African-American.

We narrowed it down, and for that I'm glad, becuase personally I've got a lot of problems with Hillary Clinton that I won't bore you with. I'm personally going for McCain, for mostly religous reasons.

However, I've heard many great things Obama can do for this country. So many people believe him and stand behind him, I can't doubt that if he's elected, something will change. All the kids at my school rag down on Obama, but I'm borderline. I know something will happen either way we go, and here we go, America. Pick a path. Pick a side.

Mia came over to drop off some stuff, and her little sister and brother came too....

OH MAN. THEY ARE CRAZY WILD CHILDREN.

They pull up your shirt, they run around your house - which, for the record, they weren't even INVITED into - they announce the color of your undergarments and which undergarments they ARE, they hit your butt, they whack you with big pool noodles, they scream SUPER LOUDLY, they just keep going and going and going -

yet I put on a big smile and pretty much occupied them as Mia and her mom chatted with mine. and they still looked pretty happy as they left.

If that doesn't prove to my mom I'll be one heck of a babysitter, I don't know what will.

I mean, who LETS their KIDS do that?! I don't know about you, but when I was growing up, I was taught some rooms you can't go into, and some rooms you do. You DON'T run around people's upstairs, looking for cats!

There's also such a thing as PERSONAL SPACE. I...I'm not even getting into that. People should KNOW THAT you don't pull a girl's shirt up when she's not looking and announce the color of what she's wearing underneath. Okay, you just DON'T.

Uuuugh. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to invite Mia to my house again; she might bring her siblings. Not only that, since I was trying to roll with it with a strained smile on my face, Mia probably thinks I ENJOYED that.

Graaah....and before any of you give me any of that "I would've just told/did/kicked/whatever-", they don't listen to that. It just ENCOURAGES them. If I'd run upstairs to my room, they would've followed. Their mother doesn't even notice stuff like that...

Seriuosly, I came home from school and it wouldn't turn on. The computer was whirrin', the speakers were glowin', but the monitor...pffft.

So I'm using my mom's computer right now. It's all fine and dandy, except the speakers don't work. Which means no music. and my i-pod was wiped out the day before the comp died, so no music there, either. I'm dying.

But oh well.

Lessee here...life's good. Got a lock-in tomorrow, then the Friday after that is my birthday. As anybody who watched my videos knows, it kind of snuck up on me. My party's gonna be epic, though, I couldn't decide on a theme so it's "Mary". :3 There'll be trivia about either Warriors, Twilight, or Me, and we're going to splatter T-shirts and hopefully have a clothes race (long story) and life just kinda rocks.

'Kay, well, than. Gonna split. Now much of an update but...my creativity has been at an alltime low this past month. I'm just kinda wiped.

Anyway, I'm not dead. ^^ Just busy. The last week was hectic.

On Monday, I did nothing. Just wait.

On Tuesday, I bridged to Cadettes in GS! ^^ It was great, now I have a spiffy khaki sash instead of a bright green vest that I had outgrown anyway. ^^

On Wednesday, IT WAS SO FREAKIN' CHAOTIC.
They announced Ren. Club was canceled over the intercom, and then I got on the bus and Anya, who isn't even IN the club, said they were meeting, and I trusted her, so I went and lo and behold we were. I was like "What the heck?!" but oh well, let's just all mess with my head.

Then I went to this coffeehouse thing where I lost war again, and some guy said I was like (from Breakfast Club) the rebel, the girl who spread pixie dust all over her sandwich, and the guy who tried to commit suicide with a flare gun all mixed together. It was...lovely. (Although, he had a british accent, so it was hard to tell if he was just teasing. British accents make everything sound better.)

On Thursday, I went to the football game. There was a lot, but here are the highlights, good and bad;
I made enemies with half the people in the stands because I laugh too loud.
I discovered two of my friends are apparently going out, which wouldn't be so bad if A) They weren't my friends so it's kinda hard to look at them together like that. and B) It's the same guy everybody's been thinking was MY....boyfriend not two weeks ago, and it hasn't quite blown over yet, so now I have to try harder to get everyone to believe me by pointing them out, and then they get irritated.
annnnnd I saw the guy who's in the locker next to mine get pants'd. I'm not getting into that.

On Friday...I got out of my math test becuase I was in the nurses office for a bloody nose for over thirty minutes, trying to get it to stop.
and it was my fault my group got a 70 in Lang. Arts, because we had nothing together. and since I put the stupid poem together, and I brought in the props, and I made up the actions, there's really no one else to blame. I mean, we had two football players who had a game to get ready for, a physcotic boy who is just insane, and....well, Gurden was okay, I suppose he could've done something. But he was the narrator, so whatever he came up with WE would have to do, and....just, ugh.
I have to rap next week, so I'm practicing. Long story.

I also had to go to a sleepover, where I discovered a new game to put on my birthday list(Which is, holy crap, 19 days away. Where does the time go?) : My Sims for the wii. It's SO FUN!

and on Saturday, the unmentionable happened. I cannot speak of it. All I'm saying is that it involved a dirty, men's bathroom at a rundown gas station and not clearly marked, genderwise, bathrooms.
Ughhhhhhhhhhh...If I die of some disease, somebody pass a law for cleaner bathrooms.

and now I'm in Florida with my cousins and aunt and uncle, typing my week out to you.

Okay. I'm almost finished, I'm hoping to get Inkdeath soon. I'm so excited.

Holy crap, this is so long.

ALL LEADING UP TO THE BIG GAME AND PEP RALLY!

Dude, the Pep Rally. Was. ROCKIN'. There was a bunch of screaming and stomping and jumping and clapping and singing...and this really funny impersonation of a cheer from our rival school, WHO WAS IN CLASS AT THAT POINT IN TIME. The cheer coach pretended to get everyone quiet, picked up his cellphone, listened to it, nodded, hung up and said, "Hey, Guys, That's Mrs. ____ from (rivalschool.) She asked to keep the noise down because they're in class. Whadda we say to that?" and everybody went INSANE. It was Crazy. My first pep rally. X3 I wasn't as crazy as I would've been, since I had a bunch of people who didn't know my rep yet, but I gave up eventually.

AND THEN THE GAME! OHHH MAAAAAAN!

So TONS of my peeps were there. I can't believe I just said that. Do you see how hyper I am??? Anyway, tons of my FRIENDS were there, and the seventh graders KILLED the other team, and I got kicked off of a bench A KABILLION TIMES. Seriuosly. XD NO RESPECT. Psh. Anyway, I was laughing and actually managed to keep the sugary candy to a minimum. XD

AND I DISCOVERED JUST HOW HUGGABLE BEN IS. 8D He came out into the bleachers (He's a player) and I was so excited we won I just went up and hugged him. XD It wasn't awkward, either. He doesn't care, anyway. I hugged him, like, five times and then he started hugging back and I freaked out. XD Everybody's saying stuff now but we REALLY don't care. At all. He's just a friend. XD

Besides, a book we read for class said, "If I were to rule the world, everybody would have to have a minimun of six hugs a day." WHICH I BELIEVE IN NOW. At first it sounded stupid, but man, you find somebody as huggable as that kid and...just, dude. DO IT. XD

BUT, OKAY. I NEED TO SLEEP.

This is my schedule for the next few days:

After school tomorrow, I have a lock-in, which I will NOT be able to sleep at because we're going to be at a bowling alley until atleast TWO. That's AM, people.
Then, the next day, I have to go to Oktober Fest with my friends, then my parents scheduled something that night so I might have to be up until 11.
The next day, Sunday School and MAYBE yOUTH gROUP.

Sleep.

MAN! I cannot get over the fact how huggable Ben is. All these years of knowing him, I never guessed. XD It would just be one of us would say "Again?" and the other person would say "Yeah!" and we'd hug. XD

Okay, carried away. XDD

School starts for real on monday. As in, work and homework and tardy slips and whatnot. These past few days were practice.

I also have been having very odd things happen to me. D: Like the other day, I saw this black bump on my leg. So I was think, "Oh, crud, what is this?" and my mom said most likely a hair in backward (Don't ask) and that I should try pulling it out. So I got some tweezers and tried, but it took me until I was almost in bed later to get the skin open to reach it. So I pulled it up and it was this THORN that was like a CLAW. Seriuosly, there was a HOLE in my leg. I freaked out and my mom washed it down the drain and said, "Thank god we got that out." and I exclaimed, "YOU THINK????" Lol...

Also! XD I met some new people at my school. One is Brittany, whom I sat next to in the gym first thing first day and we became friends. XDD We like a lot of the same bands and same TV shows. It's insane.
Also, there's Ary, and this guy who sits next to me in science named George (I barely know'em, though) and this awesome guy named...I think you spell it Gurden, I'm not sure. He's cool, though, and extremely energetic and polite at the same time. It takes a lot to pull that off. My hats off to him.



School's...interesting. I won't bore you. George had to read aloud to the class about why dung beetles collect poop. You don't want to know the specifics, but in short. Everybody eats something, right?

Uuugh.

Like GERUNDS. XDDD I don't know why, but I've always LOVED Gerunds, Participles, and Infinitives. Kelsey and Caroline are in my Science class...and the teacher really likes me and Kelsey. Like, together. XD She said we're 'cute'. She's also really positive and whatnot...I really like her.

DUDE, THE HALLLLWAYS! DEATH ON A STICK, I SWEAR. I got shoved around so much, and then the crowd ate my friend Tera. ;; I seriously haven't seen her since....

Second of all; I officially decided that I WILL in, fact, paint Hiss. I'm debating doing it tonight or tomorrow...I'm leaning towards sooner rather than later because I have such plans for her. First of all, however, I need to code her pet page. XD I think I'll do that before anything. I don't know that. I'm also considering saving up for some awesome Spectacles of Perception for her, but they cost over 100,000, so I think I'll just keep playing keyquest and hope for some good stuff to sell and more Neopoints.

I'm also going to try one of those STELLAR room.s You know, like the ones you see in a neohome spotlight, tiling, all that? Yeah. I'm excited, to say the least. Hiss will finally BE something...

Okie, so here's the rant:

I am tired of people on dA saying 'they're being ignored'. I mean, it's okay to throw it in there, but after you complain in caps lock for the second or third time, it's ANNOYING.

Even more so when they really AREN'T being 'ignored'. I mean, I understand where they're coming from. Everybody on here wants comments, and everybody wants kiriban, and everybody wants a DD (sounds like a song, lol.) but...you won't have everybody comment on your work. I'm lucky if I have more than four to five people favorite one piece of work. I consider it a masterpiece when a stranger comes along and favs/comments. It irritates the heck out of me when people who have, like, FIFTY WATCHERS complain that nobody cares about them anymore and that nobody comments on their work.

I've been on a year, and I understand my art is crudola crap compared to theirs, it just...annoys. It's those people who feel the need to mention a new piece of work, or one of their characters, or SOMETHING about them in EVERYTHING they do.

dA isn't about getting the most pageviews, or the most favs, or the most comments. It's about finding similar artists, and getting your art farther than normal....I mean, yes, everyone wants more pageviews. I don't have a problem with those who put it into their signatures, or whatever. No, those people are completely fine, I understand where they come from. It's these people who are striving for greateness but think it'll come by suggesting somebody fav something they've seen.

Okay, -sigh-, I'm failing at this. Summary:
If you feel the need to TELL people to favorite, or ASK them to comment, step back a bit and look. You're pressuring them to like it. You can't get somebody to like something. Instead of trying to get other people to like it, focus on those who already do.

and for the record, some people, like me, ARE LAZY WHEN IT COMES TO COMMENTING. You know the saying: Build a bridge.

If you've recently complained about this, it isn't directly at you, it's just I've seen a lot of the people I watch complaining and it's annoying.

It's scary how fast summer passed...I can't believe I'm a Middle Schooler. Mary, Middle Schooler. I joined Neo when I was in...third, second grade? Gahlee you guys took me way too far in. XDDD

Okay, so....I haven't been outside for more than five minutes in two days. XD WHY? Becuase the place I'm living in has a 'Bad Air Quality' alert. Seriuosly, nobody's allowed outside where I live for more than thirty minutes, or, as the weatherman put it, "If you have trouble breathing". I literally had a conversation with my mom that went like this:

My mom: Mary, why are you staring outside?
Me: ...I don't know, I guess becuase I haven't been outside in a long time...
My mom: ...O.o
Me: Wait, that came out wrong.

XDDD;;

I need to update my story, but...I'm at a loss for how to do it. I mean, I have a general idea, but I can't seem to get it right with the words...I'm considering consulting Sonic, since, you know, she's one of the best writers in the guild (still in the guild, correction.) and I also have the impression she knows the story better than I do. o.O I can't believe I thought I'd finish the story before the summer ended...Ha! Still, it'll be nice to talk about The Pillaging Pirate Rubber Duckies and Birdies of the Crows' Nest long after the weather for it has ended.

I am so IRRITATED. >< Okay, so, first of all, I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT TO SEE THE FINALE OF AVATAR. I have been following that series since the first episode three seasons ago, and I LOVE it. HOWEVER! I have the VERY LAST EVER meeting of Girl Scouts that EXACT day at that EXACT time....

Secondly, I've raved about twilight before, right? Well, my local books-a-million is holding a HUUUUGE party for the VERY LAST book in the series, but it's on the exact same night as my friend's party. I mean, the party will be over by then, but she's considering a sleepover with just me and her and a couple of our best friends and....just, urgh.

Oh great. My mom just came in here and informed me that she MAY be able to reschedule a docter's appointment, but if not, it'll be the day AFTER SCHOOL BEGINS.

Which means I'll be behind the second day.

AND I'M NOT HAVING NACHOS TONIGHT.

Though that's insignificant.

It just seems like everything's changing or overlapping or dissapearing. >>><<<

Anyway! Life Update. Back from my trip, waiting for life to continue....we stopped by B-Ham to go to some kind of graduation party for a guy who didn't know me. XDDD; Still! I met a lot of people I didn't know I was related to, and afterwards we went home and I got to tuck my baby cousin into bed. :3 So all's well. EXCEPT I STAINED MY PANTS WITH SOME KIND OF CRAP, WHICH IS HORRIBLE, BECUASE THEY WERE KHAKIS AND THE ONLY SHORTS THAT MATCHED MY YELLOWCARD SHIRT EFFORTLESSLY. YOU SEE MY PROBLEM???

Despite everything, this took me atleast three days to finish and complete. It's also the ONLY one of my pictures EVER that's shaded correctly...that was what took me the three days. I just can't shade...

So, here's the plan at my house for the next few days;

-Tomorrow, my cousin is coming up to my house. That same day, my mom's friend is coming up from the gulf. This means not only will it be a full house, but my bathroom is going to be split between four people. Not happy. I put a Port-o-Potty on the shopping list, but my mom saw it and called me a Smart Aleck in a slightly more offensive way. Becuase of this, I will be stealing her bathroom much more. She just doesn't know this yet.

-The day after that is a huge party of awesomeness. I will be gone all day and may make a journal after that. However, recently I've been thinking about the number of journals I've done, and know Sonic and Christine and everybody else who's gone will be freaking out becuase all my journals. I must...refrain...

-The day after that everybody leaves again, and we can breathe again.

- I think either the day after, or the day after the day after, we follow my dad down to the beach for his work. Be gone for, like, 3 or four days...

and I'm not sure about after that...

However! I can't WAIT FOR BREAKING DAWN! d^^b By Stephanie Meyer!! I got a special edition copy of Eclipse, and not only did it come with a poster for it, but T-Shirt iron ons (Not So Great) and a preview of Breaking Dawn! ^^b Of course, my mom doesn't know I finished Eclipse...so...I'm trying to keep that quiet. --;; I keep randomly placing the bookmark in the book so she doesn't see. BUT STILL SO EXCITED. 8DDDDD

So, yeah, everything's been great recently. Anyway, I've got scrubs to watch...see ya later.
