i went to the giant banksy exibition in bristol yesterday.. well worth the 5 and a half hour wait.(yes i was suprised when i found out) as we were queing up i noticed someone had stuck a sticker on a sign. i dont know wheter it was deliberate but the whole sign said:

the exibition was great loads of hilarious exibits as well as some very powerful ones.
if you go don't give up after an hour's queing because it is well worth it.

yesterday i travelled down to nottingham and went to the only official montana shop in the country. with £70. i bought 2 alien cans, 9 montana harcore cans and eight montana 94 cans plus a bagful of caps. most of the hardcore cans and all the alien cans will be used for my summer project but i still have some to mess around with. i need a new tag since i went on google and about ten people have the tag SEK.

- they bleed on anything that isnt marker paper
- the ink spreads too much
- you have to work quickly or you get light and dark patches
- where the colours meet it goes all fuzzy
- they wont blend well
- and i dont like them
to be honest I prefer sharpies.
I am going to order some otr twin touch markers to see if they are any better for graffiti

i got:a huuuuuuuuuge graffiti & street art reference book (mainly street art but hey)
a ipod docking station
a marker pad
and COPIC MARKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!W00000000T!!!!
and a copic airbrush system still in the post!!!
i tried them out on an uncoloured piece and they're not good im afraid.
THEYRE MOTHERFREAKINAWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
only mad thing is they do bleed through paper and in my art book the paper is very absorbent and it makes the ink spread a lot Dx
but on marker paper theyre fine

my artwork has improved alot thanks to my new method:
step 1: put shapes together to make nice letters.
step 2: make those letters more mad by adding hookups and arrrows
step 3: make them MOAR mad
step 4: make them as mad as you possibly can
step 5: colour in and add title,date and signature.

10 Molotow 12HS fine point markers (and some free spray can caps too )
and the best thing about them is they are opaque on all surfaces!!!
so i funked up my art book (which was black and boring)

my graffiti is coming along and ive got some really good sketchs and finished products!!! il upload them next week when i have a holiday
i also got photoshop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im gonna try and edit some of my work with it
