i looked outside today, which is not unusual

because homes are designed so that the windows give you a general view of the outside

world (who ever designed windows way back when made them with that specfic purpose)

windows that face inward are not windows at all, they are more like looking glass tiles, because

as you see, though we as humans are constantly making names for things and new words to describe things ( a rather dull habit we partake in) we have not yet made up a word for a inward looking window. so, i call it looking glass, because i am sure mr. carroll would not mind a bit if i stole his curious phrase.

looking outside, i see snow, and snow in the state of maine is not uncommon like inward looking windows or looking glass.

when i was small and rather foolish i used to think that the snow was a giant cake frosting that covered the ground, and i never liked to step in it, because how would i feel if someone stepped with a muddy boot into my giant white frosting cake? but now, i have grown wiser, and although the state of maine may look like a frozen cake frosting, it would not be a very appetizing one at all, because, you see, nobody really enjoys eating pollution and the droppings from ill mannered dogs and cats and every other creature that partakes in animal activities. so, i have likened the earth during the winter time as to giving somebody a rather disgusting fruitcake at christmas.

if i were to die right this very second, then i would be alright with that, because if my life was a t.v show, i’ve had around 13-16 seasons, and although that may not be rival to the simpsons or the rolling stones who have been around since patty was patty, it is a good run, and i can say to my organs ‘well boys, its been a good run!’

things are so much better when they are british

if it keeps snowing my eyes are going to fall out
