Sadly, if you're reading this and you're into expansion, you probably won't be able to play with all of us here in North America. there's a small following of people that actually do play and are in an FA guild on the Mari server. While I would absolutely LOVE for there to be a way to play with all the European peoples that are interested in this (as well as my NA friends), that won't be very possible =/

REGARDLESS, Mabinogi is a very fun MMORPG, and an easy timesink ^^ With that being said, Nexon Europe has released that sometime in December, they will start a closed beta for the European localization of Mabinogi!

And for those of you that are interested in this, the information I have recieved seems to indicate that they will be starting off around Generation 4. This includes ALL of the past mainstream quests (G1 where you get the starting storyline of the game, G2 where you can become a Paladin/holy knight, and G3 where you can become a Dark Knight) AS WELL AS the addition of the continent of Iria. And believe me, Iria is HUGE!

Iria is the main reason why i bought a mounted pet xD it's THAT big.

Whether they start off with G4 right off the bat or they impliment G5 and G6 (the updates containing the Giant and Elf races) is yet to be seen, but regardless, the storyline for this game is fun, and if you're looking for a decent, simplistic, yet fun MMORPG to try and you're in Europe, try this!

This game isn't oriented for people into the expansion fetish! It just has the feature where your character can age as well as grow skinny or fat. Hence why some of the expansion people have flocked to it.

Right, so not a whole ton of stuff has really happened since the last journal..to name a few things:

I've been getting a little bored of Mabinogi...i dont intend to flat out quit it, but i'll probably take a break...but Nexon decided to put on an event to get free stuff, so i may pop on a lot more than i just said i would xP darnit Nexon

Search for a summer job = fail
Search for a job for the this coming semester at school = in progress
Research opportunity get? maybe. i'll let you guys know...if i remember >.>

Been playing Alundra a lot...like i should've been doing MONTHS ago when i got it xD
it really is a lot like Zelda...i spent like 25 minutes on one single room in this desert shrine x.x it was pretty rough, but it's still fun =3

I took my PC to the person that helped me build it to try and see if we could make it run faster. It turns out, there was a driver missing that we forgot to install...something called an SM Bus Controller...we missed it the first time because it didn't install right away from the disc. we had to manually find it on the driver disc =/ so when we tried to install the driver, it said Windows needed to be updated...when we tried to update windows, it said "something's wrong. could not update"...

so we just whiped the whole operating system and reinstalled it =3
unfortunately, when we were deleting the partition the OS was installed on, we found an odd partition that we didnt recognize, and we deleted that...that was my external hard drive...so i basically wound up reinstalling Windows, causing me to reinstall most of my programs, and reformatting my external hard drive, causing me to lose most of the program stuffs i had wanted to save that i put on that external hard drive. can you say "Baleeted?"

but my PC runs so much more smoothly now =3 before it took 15 minutes from the time i pressed the power button until the time firefox was usable...now..it only takes a little over 2 minutes which makes me very, very, very happy =3


last, but not least...i couldn't sleep last night....soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i stayed up til 7 am and beat Mother 3 =3 the ending was amazing. my mouth was just hanging open at a few parts. literally, jaw dropping. you wouldn't normally expect that from a very simplistically-designed and simplistic graphics-wise gameboy advanced game... normally....which just goes to show that the Earthbound series is amazing x3


and how am i doing? pretty good =3 i've just been doing whatever and hanging out with people irl. oh, and i cleaned my apartment when i got back on tuesday. we hadn't really cleaned it since we got it, and when i walked through the door on tuesday the place looked HORRIBLE. so i took the liberty of cleaning most of it. we just need to clean the bathtub and clean the kitchen. those are the only two places left.

3.) Real Drive. i love it. it's great. it has a few chubby characters in it, but the story greatly overpowers the FA side of me...hopefully it will for everyone who decides to check it out based on this journal it's really a terrific anime. i finished episode 6 last night and i felt like i was about to cry! (seriously, it's a GREAT anime!)

4.) still haven't beaten Mother 3....i got too focused on mabinogi >>; i should beat it sometime. i'm right at the last line of battles, too! lol

5.) yes, i'm still alive. no, i haven't been getting on my IM programs. yes, i know you miss me. no, chances are i probably won't get on them anymore. yes, i know i said i'd get on them more, but quite frankly, i've never consistently been able to start getting on them more often to please the people that wish to talk to me. so why make myself into a liar when i should just say it outright? sorry guys =\

6.) If you want to friend me:
don't ask me "hey! can i be your friend?" not to sound like a bitch or anything, but it seems a little redundant when you add me and i add you and then you ask 'can we be friends?' it saves yourself the trouble, saves yourself from getting talked down to by me, and it saves me the trouble of feeling like an asshole by telling you that

Now that that has been made clear, DON'T COME ASKING ME FOR STUFF LIKE THAT.



The reason i'm saying this stupidly obvious thing is because i recently got into a short talk with someone via notes here on DeviantArt. He was a kind person, obviously from the transformation community, based on his artwork (i won't name names), and he asked me for an AT (which somehow means an 'art trade' in the world of abbreviations...not some sort of advanced star wars battle mech).

I declined his offer, seeing as how i'm a lazy bum, i lack the motivation to make up a big story to display his character in, and that my first art trade in the inflation community will probably be my last because the other person didn't do as good of a job on his end of the story (and if you're reading this , i'm not talking about you. I love you, but i don't really consider anything we did as an art trade, so this isn't you)

so i declined this person's offer, and he said "Oh, that's a shame. i was really looking forward to my OC in 3D"

seriously, this rather struck a chord with me. i'm not too sure why i'm as upset about it as i am. it could be a number of things, but I DON'T DO 3D ARTWORK. I DO STORIES, IF I EVEN -DO- ARTWORK! so i think part of it is that he saw all of this, forgot to read the artist's description, and thought that i do 3D artwork....

that's understandable, since i don't put on every single piece of artwork that i make that it was really a screenshot taken in Second Life. However, i usually have (or at least i'd like to think) that i have a small group of watchers that sees and examines all of the pictures i post with each new 'update' (basically a festival of me posting screenshots). I don't usually need to worry about people thinking my artwork is really 3D and not stories, because the watchers (i'd like to think) usually read the descriptions and have examined my older screenshots from Second Life and Mabinogi and have seen that they're not art programs of any sort.

now, i've had to explain to some people that some of this stuff isn't art programs. i had a few people confused with Mabinogi, since it's not a really huge game and nobody has really heard about it aside from short word-of-mouth and all the millions of ads that have been out for it here on DeviantArt. And i've had more than a few people ask about Second Life. I've been glad to explain to them that this was NOT an art program, and they were willing to accept that, and the conversation died down and stopped dead in its tracks.

i don't get many people that ask me for art trades. i really don't. so it's kind of a big deal to me that people DO ask me for art trades, even though i'm probably going to tell them 'no'. But this simply takes the cake.


please don't come to be asking about art trades. And for the love of God! if you DO ask me for art trades, DON'T ask for 3D artwork.

besides, i can't help but feel a little insulted by this one. others have asked about SL before, but never have gone so far as to actually confuse it for my actual work AND ask me to make his or her avatar on the program.


there. i said it. don't ask me for any 3D artwork. period. bugger off.

on the plus side, this is probably going to give anyone that might make an article about me on Encyclopedia Dramatica some cannon fodder.


also: i think i'm gonna leave Second Life...again...it's gotten a bit drama-y, and it's not as great as it was when i came back, so yeaaah, i think i'm gonna stop SL again.

MABINOGI! weakly catering to some of the odder fetishes (but not TOO much odder) fetishes around the internets!

So I've been having fun hanging out on Second Life, and i've been enjoying my little return to there ^-^ there's been many familiar faces, and many more new people that i've met that are also awesome <3 things have really been different for me, this time around...or so i'd like to think.


the other day, my friend (one of my guild mates from Mabinogi) sent me a comment asking me to pop back on Mabinogi to check out all the new stuff going on in the game. I figured it couldn't hurt, so i agreed, and i'm planning on hopping on Mabinogi again after i get back from my last exam tomorrow (got 2 exams tomorrow, and i'm just taking a little study break for lunch to post this).

but apparently things are changing for that game...and in a big way, too. For everyone that's complained about how free games are never TRULY free, you may actually be surprised to learn that Nexon (the creators of MapleStory and Mabinogi) are actually heading down that route to make the game more towards free...

basically: you don't have to pay for much of anything except for pets, premium items (which aren't that amazing, generally), the specific services they offer for people who pay, and new character cards in case you want to make a new character or 'rebirth' and make your character look awesome with the super-special "premium character card only" junk...

so what does this mean to you? it doesn't sound like a lot...
rebirthing is free after level 20 (if you can wait that long, you no longer are forced to buy a character card to rebirth)
Ego weapons are free (previously, you would need to pay for their premium services to have a unique, personal weapon...now you don't have to! the extra damage and awesomeness is free!)
you can now do all of the mainstream quests for Generations 1, 2, and 3 without having to pay for the premium services for those, either.

to some people, that may or may not sound like a lot, but to anyone who has played Mabinogi, those are pretty big changes...they've basically made the game as close to a true free game as they possibly can while still making money off of it...

i know i'm gonna sound like a bigot, but in all honesty, i don't really care...i'm tempted to go back and try things out again, simply because they've made things much less demanding (moneywise) to get good. i'd be willing to deal with all of the crummy, corny, cheap events just for that. i don't think i ever really did many of the events on Star Wars Galaxies anyways (ages ago, back when i played it), so i'm not totally ruined by the fact that they may have crappy events.



....now to figure out how to balance my Second Life and any Mabinogi time i make in the future... i'm sure i'll figure something out. all i really need is a new golden warhammer and i'll be set and happy xP

I mean, yeah, there may be funny pictures of me on some web site, but WHAT funny pictures were taken in the last week or so that I haven't heard about?

And Valentine stuff? nono, fuck Valentine's Day.

basically, Nexon got 'cute' and decided to offer up some rare items as an event. The rare items: two normal items, just colored differently. now granted, one was a suit of armor, and one was a piece of clothing, but the fact still stands: they're basically two oddly-colored items that you could normally buy. one of them you could even dye to get to the 'event' colored item's status!

now the process for getting these two 'amazing' items is basically as follows:
step 1: find the book for this specific 'quest' (takes up 2 inventory spaces)

Depending on which one you want, you'll need to pick one to get the books from, and repeat the process until you get enough coupons. you cannot use the coupons from Simon's book for Nerys's suit of armor, by the way.
Step 5: once you've gotten 2500 coupons for Simon, you can trade it in for the clothing. once you've gotten 2500 coupons for nerys, you can trade it in for the suit of armor...

My time back has been a rather enjoyable one. It's a shame I can't be on all the time without getting amazingly awkward stares from my R: friends :c

But, regardless of everything, I've been having fun, and have met several new people as well...but...

I think there may be a person or two trying to pose as me on Second Life...I say this, because I came across this friend of a friend, that apparently had met me. She said we had hung out for an entire day at a place that I stumbled into only once and for a very short time (IF I even went there!)

After much confusion, I made it very clear that I didn't remember her, sadly. My short-term memory is pretty weak, but if I spent a whole day with her, I definitely would've remembered her...so...

Now I don't really know what all of you feel about furries, and such, but I feel I need to say a few things to the people that don't really like them.

for one, I am not a furry. I know my avatar may look like one, but I am not. (i just prefer my online persona to be a little different from the normal, everyday human look).

Despite the fact that I am not a furry, I DO know some furries in real life.

And i think it's highly important to remember one key little fact here: Furries are people, too!

we sometimes forget these little things, but it's true. i've seen this attitude towards the FA community online, but furries are people, just like everyone else.

That being said, an outbreak within a whole community like this is kind of bothersome is anybody able to fill me in on the details? (or even confirm this little tidbit?)

I'm not writing this journal entry to flame or single anyone out, I'm just asking because this is quite a bit shocking to me, and because I care. I'm not sure if it's in the news, or if it will be in the news anytime soon, but if you have any details on this, I would like to know and offer my condolences and support

i can vaguely recall there being a few anti-McCain campaigns, but they were very very light on the mud-slinging, and they only said what McCain plans to do (without actually saying it was McCain planning to do this), and then stated what Barack Obama would do instead. (for those of you brave enough to read all the way through my last journal post, i don't remember there being any specifics on what exactly Obama would do...i still have no clue if any changes were explained! Dx)

so, if you look past that big blob of text in parentheses and just read the rest of the paragraph that that blob of parenthetical text was apart of, you'll probably make better sense of what i said. now this raises a question for me: did anyone actually catch the Obama campaign doing any mud-slinging or little 'flame bouts' that seem to clog and infest most American politics of this day?

Seriously, I'd REALLY love an answer to that question. If he really wasn't using the "mud-flinging" tactics that most of us have grown to hate, then I will probably have a renewed bit of respect for this man.

I absolutely hate politics, mostly because of all of this bad soap opera-style drama. I personally wanted Mike Huckabee to be the republican presidential nominee instead of McCain, and a high point of why I like and respect him is because he never really took part in that mud slinging or false promising. (don't deny this! in the last 2 or 3 elections we've had, the president elect has made many promises as to what he would do, and a good portion of those promises were not kept, but rather side-stepped)

If Obama never really did much of the political flaming, then I will be pretty happy. A step away from partisan politics is a step in the right direction, and Obama already displayed that in his victory speech last night.


(as an aside to this aside, i think this country may actually be heading in the right direction. i never saw any part of his speech until just earlier when i was watching it on CNN)

okay, not really...i just didn't vote. seriously, the way i see it, neither of the two candidates (McCain and Obama). I'm not a racist, and i'm not a terrorist, i just don't like either one of them or think either of them would be a perfect fit for America.

yeah, the election is over, but you know what? i really don't care. i'm doing this anyways.

McCain: he's a great guy and all, but it just seems like he'd really be more of Bush. that can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it. I personally don't think Bush was THE worst president, despite how popular and "in" it has been the last few years to make fun of the guy, but that's just me. he's not that great, but he's not that horribly bad. i could list my points, but there's no point, because people will flame me whether or list a solid argument saying why i don't think he's that bad or not. and this journal is all about stating my honest opinion and seeing how many people will flame me. SO LET'S GET BACK ON TOPIC!

out of all the options for this race, if i HAD voted, i would've likely voted independent...if that were even an option...voting independent is perfectly legal and perfectly fine to do, as well, but let's face it: independent candidates will likely NEVER gain the title of president here in America. so, disregarding the fact that i'd be throwing away a vote on an independent, i'd be voting for McCain. why? he seems like the lesser of two evils.

yes, i said it. McCain isn't that great, but he isn't that bad. he's kinda like how Bush was before he gained presidency. everyone liked him, thought he was a great guy, and then Bush did stupid things and now everyone loves to hate on Bush. i don't think it'd end the same way as it is now, if McCain was president, but i think it'd be sort of like a different form of Bush. A Better Bush, would probably be a better way of describing it...but...you all probably hate Bush, so you therefor would probably shudder at the thought of "A Better Bush"

Obama: Change. Change. CHANGE! what is he changing again? Maybe i got left out of the loop, but he toted the word "change" throughout his entire campaign, and when exactly did he explain how exactly he was going to change things? yeah, the stuff was probably posted on websites by his presidential nomination staff or whatever you call them, and yeah, if he said it, it would probably be written up by someone else for him to say (hey, 75% of Sarah Palin's infamous speech was basically spoon-fed to her by staff writers!) But darnit, i'd like to have heard it from Obama. i didn't catch any of the presidential debates, because i've been a bit busy with life and stuff and halloween and Earthbound, and Fallout 3 (which i bought, but kinda disregarded right afterwards simply because i wanted to play Earthbound more, but i still love both of them! had to trade in a game or three just to get it, but it was worth it x3 now to play it more.....OH RIGHT! FLAME TIME!)

So i didn't hear much on WHAT Obama was going to change...that's forgivable, i think. I can live with that, as long as i actually hear it sometime. i believe i probably will sometime within the next coming months, so i'm not too worried about that.

what i AM worried about are two little things. now, this is going to sound a wee bit racist, but just bare with me, i have reasoning behind this: 1.) he's black, and 2.) some think he's a terrorist.

i can live with him being black. however, there are some down here in the southern states of America that still harbor a certain amount of racism. my brother and my father are perfectly good examples of that. My thought process on this is something along the lines of "He's african american, and he's now the President of the United States of America....given how racism still exists, there are good chances that he either will be assassinated, or have assassination attempts on him".

I really, really hope he doesn't die due to some ignorant idiot. That would only prove that our culture has not evolved much more from where it was when black people were not treated equally. One bullet could prove over 100 years of work and strain in the fight against racism here in America utterly pointless and moot.

oh hi there!! some of you may have been wondering what i've been up to lately...(actually, i don't think any of you have, but i'm posting this anyways!! x3)

if you ask me for a story, chances are, i will never get around to doing it unless you bug the crap outta me....and i like you...that's a key factor >.>

case in point: asked me to do a story! i really like him, and he's a great guy, but i just never got around to doing the story request xD he tossed a few ideas, and i came up with one we could both agree upon, and i just flat out never got around to it....i feel indebted to him for having him include me in his manga...especially since he's going to be showcasing it at a convention sometime in the near future...so i get the feeling i'll eventually get around to making the story, but like i said, i am a very lazy person x3;


Aside from that....Earthbound! =o
Mother 3 came out friday last week...well, the english, fan translation did, at least...i decided to start playing Earthbound (which happens to actually be Mother 2, in Japan) about around 3 am Saturday morning, and i got hooked. Since Mabinogi has been a wee bit boring lately, i've just settled to playing Earthbound once i get bored of mabinogi each day n.n

and it is really good. i haven't been this entertained and hooked by an RPG in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong while x3 and this is kind of a feat, coming from me. i used to play RPGs on my old Playstation 2 all the time when i was little..i even have the SNES cartridge version of Final Fantasy 6 (which, when it came out, was labeled as Final Fantasy 3).

I just haven't been that interested by most RPGs in a while...there have been ones that look really good and fun to me. like Oblivion! but Oblivion is way too long for me to actually feel like i'm getting anywhere fast, so, like Morrowind, i just go "whee! lookit me go!" for anywhere from a few hours to a few days, and then just push it away only to be picked up at a later date. the stuff by Nippon Ichi Soft has been games i've wanted to play, as well. I wanted to get La Pucelle Tactics and Disgaea, but i only got La Pucelle a few years back because it was all my mother could find for me for Christmas. i JUST now picked up Disgaea for my DS a couple of weeks ago, and after a few days, i found the item world and all the classes and fell into the trap of trying to grind to level up the character classes so my main peoples could learn abilities...baad mistake (grinding isnt much fun without some sort of hinge or some friendly interaction with other people, unless you're determined, hence why i stick to MMORPGs, generally). So even though Disgaea is humorous, and i've wanted to play it for so long, i'm getting disillusioned by it (as well as slightly confused as to how the heck half of the little things work)(i'm going off of Final Fantasy Tactics as my strategy RPG thing. this bit where you gain exp ONLY from killing something, and it ONLY goes towards one or two characters is a little bothersome. i'd rather grind for an hour just on one battle than spend 5 minutes on 40 battles) (also, money gaining in that game is pretty rough Dx).

Sticking to the true retro form of most of the Mega Man series of games (i'm talking the original series...not X, or 0, or X0 or any of that crap, just plain old Mega Man), Capcom has decided to regress from the stylized, Playstation graphics of Megaman 8 to the 8-bit goodness that was used in Megaman 1 through 6. Everything is in 8-bit, the sprites, the music, everything is there. heck, they even decided to go nuts and PURPOSELY put in a few of the minor glitches from the series, JUST for nostalgia's purpose. (these aren't anything big, and simply involve stuff like Mega Man becoming partially transparent in certain areas, like in Metal Man's stage in Mega Man 2, where those weird, drill-like worms are popping out of the floor and cieling)

Along with a new Mega Man game comes (obviously) a new series of Robot Masters! One of which ACTUALLY happens to be female! (seriously, NONE of the bosses in ANY of the Mega Man games have been female...except for maybe some of those weird spin-off series like X-Zero or Zero)

This has kinda arisen mostly due to my time spent on Mabinogi and dealing with people in the guild I'm in as well as a few, select foreign people that can barely comprehend the English language. Some of you who are on Mabinogi might know that I'm apart of this expansion guild. Recently I've become the co-captain of it, so now I can handle recruiting matters as well....We don't actively recruit, but I generally tend to handle most people looking to come into the guild....so I guess I'll start there.

First off, expansion. Anyone who knows me online knows that I'm into inflation and that crazy stuff. But expansion is never clearly defined at all. What counts as expansion (in the sense of getting bigger)? Does inflation count as expansion? In inflation, your body gets filled with some material, or enhanced by magic to make you round out and puff out, so wouldn't that count as expansion? But what about weight gain? The exact same line I typed for inflation could fit for weight gain...your body expands by either heavy eating or magic of some kind, and you get all fat and pudgy.

So what clearly defines expansion? Inflation covers almost all areas of expansion, and weight gain seems like it should cover the rest. What else is there left? Vore, pregnancy and unbirthing...those all seem apart of the same group.

What I'm basically trying to say here is that ALL of this is expansion. People can expand and get bigger through various ways and by various means, but it all ties into the same thing. You take stuff in, your body gets bigger, and you expand. Therefore, by my logic, it seems like this should all count as expansion. Even berry-girl stuff can be counted as it. To me, nobody has ever really defined what exactly expansion is, and after talking to a few people about it, I'm not sure anyone really knows or has a definition for it either.

So I'm taking it upon myself to define this and one other thing. Expansion, in my mind, is the act of increasing the surface area of your body by any means necessary, whether it's through pressurization, inflation, pregnancy, or taking in any material that will make you noticeably bigger to the point where it could reach fetish-status.

This is not to confuse eating with expansion. Normal eating isn't a fetish, although there are a few that go nuts and get horny off of stuff like that. To those people, I say "Nerts to you!"


The second thing I wish to define is what constitutes a noob. Newbie and noob are two very different words. Some people have loosely defined it, but they mean two very different things to me. A 'Newbie' is someone who is really new to a field or area of something. Some of the people playing an MMO for the first time might be considered a newbie. Someone who is brand new in a field of work might be considered a newbie as well. A newbie is generally someone who is new and inexperienced in a field. The word newbie can be replaced by different words depending on the area you are. Some summer camps might call a new camp counselor an "itsy," while some high school students call the new kids in a high school as "fish". The fish statement generally rings true in high school and in college, because the "fish" are generally brand new and have no clue what's going on until at the very least halfway through their freshman year, when they have garnered more experience...which is why you hear the term "fish" used less and less the later you progress into the school year.

On the other side of the spectrum, a noob, also spelled as n00b. A "noob" is basically someone that's a stupid fool or an idiot. They are not somebody that is new. A noob is called so because they make stupid decisions, do stupid things, or are completely ignorant about things that are important and should matter to them. A noob is NOT somebody that is new.

Here's an example for you: I was talking to somebody in Mabinogi the other day. This person was asking me why I wanted a particular sword. I told him that it was because I needed it for a collection quest that gave out a nice reward at the end. It was a back-and-forth volley of simple, 3-to-6 word responses until I finally said "Go look it up on the forums." This whole discussion I had with him WAS on the nexon forums, as I'd seen it a few times before when I was looking up info on this gem of a reward. The person in question proceeded to ask me, in these exact words, "wat forum?" Now, I had grown tired of his constant mispellings, and especially the horrendous mispelling of store (he spelled it as "sotre"), so I just laughed and called him a noob. 1.) i'm in a guild on mabinogi called FLAB. it was originally a guild for people into WG, but i've kinda expanded it to include people into expansion in general (seriously, once the guild was upgraded to allow 20 people, i helped the line of 6 people that wanted to get into the guild...mostly due to me pushing them x3)

In mabinogi, i'm working to become a very good healer. I'm pretty good at healing, but i'm not so great at the actual fighting bit. i have a firebolt spell, and i'm working on getting a super-powerful fireBALL spell, but for now, i've got high hopes and great healing powers! =3

So my guildies and I were talking the other day...If you could be a pokemon, which would you be? Someone made the comment that one of the members would be a snorlax. i chimed in and said "i love golduck the most out of the old-school pokemon". they examined the situation and quickly replied back with "yeah, but you'd be a chansey"

so apparently i'm the guild's Blissey n.n;
to make things even more humorous, last night when i was on, we were talking about how much each other's hit points are. One of them had rebirthed, (and was a little girl, ask me about if if ya dont know), and her health was at 90. someone else's, who was at age 16-ish, was at 106. being that they were both archers, that's pretty good. also, that's about the average health in mabinogi. Milkybody was there at the time, and said his hit points was either 126 or 137-ish. i can't remember. I rebirthed a couple of weekends ago, so i was the same age as the rebirthed girl, and my hit points were at 145.....that kinda set them off and made them say "yeah, you're a blissey"

okay...so i probably should've said something about this sooner....one of my friends from DA got me into Mabinogi, and as some people can agree upon if they've played Fly For Fun AND Mabinogi, Mabinogi is much better!

it's basically another MMORPG. those that don't like those types of games need not read much more, as i'll be ranting a little bit on the game >_>

MABINOGI:

the game is simple enough. it's just a random, generic, MMORPG. Nothing really stands out too much to me about it other than it being rather realistic yet closely-anime-esque at the same time.

The best way i can compare it is to two other MMORPGs. It's like World of Warcraft, except it's got a bit more content and principles to build off of, the combat requires you to sit down and actually play the darn thing, and it just seems a bit more realistic as far as things go.

Combat-wise, you (as well as every monster) gets skills that you can use in combat called smash, defend, whirlwind, and counter-attack. each requires a charge-up, and not all monsters use them. smash is a very powerful hit. it can go through defend. defend reduces the damage of most attacks down to very low (possibly even 1 damage point per hit, in most cases!). counter-attack takes every attack dodges the attack thrown at you, and deals damage to the enemy, so you get a hit on them, but they dont on you (this requires stamina over time to use). whirlwind basically makes you do a little break-dance kung-fu to hurt all the enemies around you at the expense of hit points. whirlwind goes through counter-attacks (and defend, i think).

As far as realism, in world of warcraft, you can only two 1 primary side skill, 2 minor, and as many majors as are allowed (which are like 5 tops).....and that's it!

In Mabinogi, you can dabble in every single skill you learn! so rather than only knowing herbalism and mining and not being able to make potions, you can be a novice at making potions, cook, mine for ore (or for fish, depending on who you are), tailor outfits, and many other things. all the non-combat skills are called life skills. all the combat skills are combat skills. all the magic skills are magic skills. pretty self-explanatory. if you learn how to do something, you don't ever forget how to do it. it's a LOT easier, and much more realistic if you ask me. ALSO: if you pick up something like a fishing rod, you automatically learn that skill, if it's basic enough. fishing? easy. everyone knows how to fish! grab a fishing pole, equip it, and you can start fishing. no sweat! wanna learn to play a flute? grab one, equip it, and get to playing!

Now, it's like Lord of the Rings Online, in that it has almost every single bit of the things that LotRO has. example: you can compose music on LotRO...you can also do that on Mabinogi!

now, this is kind of the odd part. "Manji!" you may ask, "it's like LotRO AND WoW? those two are the same game!"

sort of. LotRO was modeled after WoW, which is easily tellable due to the interface and quest system set-up (i played WoW, my new, current roommate plays LotRO). However, LotRO has a LOT more stuff that WoW doesn't have. i.e. the bard class where you can play and make music (also: i'm pretty sure there's an "Epic Lute" somewhere in the game >.>

so, in terms of gameplay, Mabinogi is technical improvement on WoW, in most respects, and is slightly worse than Lord of the Rings Online...which isn't that bad, actually! LotRO is apparently pretty fun, according to my friend.

ALSO: do note! Mabinogi is a FREE MMORPG made by the same people that made Maple Story. if you liked Maple Story, you might like Mabinogi. if you didn't like Maple Story, you'll still probably have fun with Mabinogi (i think it's better than maple story...but that's just me. i haven't touched maple story).

nothing really new with me. I'm consodering getting back into Fly For Fun (an old MMORPG i used to play...main gimmick: you can fly about the entire game's work and go wherever you want. not to be confused with WoW, this thing has you actually steering broomsticks and hoverboards!)

if anyone's interested in that, or in getting into FlyFF, please let me know, as i feel the need to grind some more....also: i still have my guild from when i played before!

...not much else from me..i passed all of my classes. things turned out better for me than i was expecting, but i'm still going to change majors...the stress was NOT a very nice thing to have going through this whole mess of a semester x.x;;;

someone linked to this page in their journal entry here on DA. i can't remember who exactly, but i remembered to bookmark it (yay for bookmarks!) (i really wish i could remember who it was Dx)

so yeah...that little article really bothers me o_o i suddenly have a whole new respect for artists and their "No Requests" policies. this just adds to the reasons as to why someone wouldn't take requests....and this also makes me kinda regret asking people for drawings of my avvy ._.;;

i'm a requester (not a requestor) in the sense that i ask people for drawings of my avatar (Manji), but i don't hassle people about it, and i don't use the artwork made to benefit my own ends at all. I personally like and cherish each art piece made for me, and regardless of what other people may say if they stumbled across them on my computer, I have each and every single one of them saved on my computer (i really do feel honored when someone does artwork of me, regardless of whether it's requested or not!)

i am not a requestor in the official, definitive sense that this article has stated, though. i make requests, but i don't abuse the gifts that people have made for me. This article is a real eye-opener for me, and i'm honestly deterred from wanting to make any more requests from people simply because of how people might take it the wrong way. I'm thankful that i'm not on the list of known requestors (seen here [link] , even though i know there's a lot more than just on that list), but i honestly think i'd cry if i was put on that list

i generally befriend the people i ask for requests, but it kinda scares me that people might even use that as a tactic to satisfy their own, weird ends and tarnish the names of great artists. Stuff like this 'requestors' junk is really lame, and i'd hate to see it upset even more people. (for those of you that know, CattyN tried to come back to DA because he found that someone was posting his old artwork claiming it was his. he left for a good reason, but the fact that he had to come back because of some asshole is pretty upsetting...and unsettling after reading this article i posted).

once i read the article, i knew i had to post it. Hopefully all of you that view this journal might find it helpful and useful. And to all of those that i've asked for requests (especially the ones with 'No Requests' policies), i am very sorry.

no, seriously, i was awoken this morning by sparse rain splattering my dorm room window. i got a pretty decent amount of sleep, regardless of the sudden awakenings, but when my alarm clock went off this morning, it seemed to tune in almost perfectly to a call by one of the listeners. the caller and the DJ had a short discussion on how the caller (who lived at a sattelite campus some number of miles away) (i don't know how far away) said that he was getting pelted by rain over there. the DJ then commented that there were supposed to be thundershowers in the area that i'm in VERY soon.

COLD SNAP!

so i went to go check the weather thing on my computer and it said that (aside from the 60% chance of thunderstorms and 23 mile per hour winds), there was supposed to be a high of 76 *F and a low of 34 *F .......................what?

yes, so as i was studying for my exam i took this morning (before scurried off to class), i watched as the weather slowly got more and more rainy. by the time i got to my class, my shoes and pants were soaked! (good thing i wore a raincoat and a pair of shoes that protected against water!)

....yeah, there wasn't really much of a point to this update...
i just kinda wanted to post about that (how very unlike me! a random blog post about my life!)

aside from that, i've been getting the feeling that i've been coming off as a hypocrite...let me give you a few examples:

i like fat art, but only if it's attractive. when it gets excessive and disgusting, i don't exactly like it..and yet i still artwork of very fat people. why? i just click on stuff i think is good. i will add some of that art, but there's a fine line where i draw it...sometimes, a piece comes along that makes me question where exactly that line is, but i add what i like. i can easily give examples of what i do and don't like.

same goes with breast expansion. i don't particularly prefer it..in fact, it's one of my least favorite forms of expansion. i don't like big ones, although i do like some breast expansion artwork when they're big. it's weird, but that's me. try not to think of me as weird like that. and feel free to discuss about it with me.

i woke up sunday with a sore throat...i've been chugging healthy drinks and popping those little cough drops with 100% of the daily value of vitamin C in each one. i'm kinda surprised i'm not coughing up vitamin pills instead of small, tiny amounts of mucus (yes, i think i'm a teensy bit sick )

a big "thank you!" is in order from me. everyone who's been offering support and concern for Futoia deserves this. it's pretty startling to find how many people think she did the wrong thing. i at least wish some people would express a little more concern for her feelings and relationship, but that's just how things are, i guess =/ i'm supporting her decision, no matter how many of you crazy people think she should give up one of the few things that makes her happy...and i'm not talking about the WG art she's drawn

FIRST OFF:

Some of you may know about 's leaving. some of you that know and watch her may have some mixed feelings, but the fact of the matter is that she's leaving the expansion scene due to her boyfriend (her bf found out about the WG artwork she drew and didn't like it, so he asked her to stop).

Some people have told her to just leave her boyfriend just to come back and draw more. While i can understand that those people would love to see her draw more towards their interests, i fail to see how those people can be so insensitive. Last time i checked, she still loved and cared for her boyfriend, regardless of how separated they might be. the fact that she's willing to give up drawing weight gain artwork altogether says something about her relationship with him. If she wants to stay with him badly enough to get rid of a part of her artwork that she likes doing, I doubt she'd even consider leaving him just to come back and draw that type of artwork for us again. Anyone who's been in a relationship with someone they love deeply can easily understand why she'd stop drawing to stay with their partner. Don't criticize it, and don't push your agenda, if you are telling her to come back. she's made her decision, and i see no reason why she should forsake a relationship that's made her so happy just to cater to our weird interests.

All pessimism aside, i think the sacrifice is worth it. if i were in her shoes, i'd probably do the exact same thing.

ALUNDRA! OMFG!

so last weekend i finally picked up Alundra x3 i'm so incredibly happy! xD i really need to play it more, but things have kinda been getting in the way (schoolwork, SL, IMs, DA, roommates playing Paper Mario, etc.)

I think i remembered things wrong, though. i could've sworn that when i first played the game there was a boss battle i had to fight without a weapon...and it was the first one, too! xD oh how wrong i was! x3 i got past the first battle, and it was pretty difficult for the first battle in the game, but i can live with that. most games these days tend to go a little soft on you as far as difficulty goes ;3 (of course, if you look at any FPS game on realistic or the hardest difficulty, or a game like I Wanna Be The Guy, you might tend to disagree with my point of view, but for the most part, games have gotten a bit soft).

what i've played of Alundra so far i've loved, and i really need to make more time to play it some more x3 it's funny, too, because the guy i got it from said he bought it from gamestop about 4 years ago...i say this is funny, because it still had the 'used game' sticker that gamestop put on it xD i'm actually kinda surprised though, because he also had the map and the full instruction manual for the game (Gamestop might not have had those, and the guy i bought it from could've lost the special map that came with the game). in any case, i'm really really excited x3 i don't plan on doing any more transactions like this, though xD i was worried enough to ask my friend (who has a black belt) to come with me for protection. luckily we didn't need it, but i guess that's just me being overly cautious with things like this

let's see....what to say...yeah, like i 'alluded' to a couple of lines up, i have an exam this week...in fact, i have 2 hopefully i won't fail them too miserably (prayers are graciously accepted, as usual)

it's weird, because i'm not sure if i'm getting sick or not...usually my allergies cause me to get sick around this time of year, but i really can't be sure at all...

some of you may be wondering where i have been on YIM and DA the last few days...(i don't know if you are or aren't, but i'm telling you why anyways!) i had a busy weekend, and this week looks to be a tiny bit busy as well. i might not be on as much after wednesday, but hopefully things'll be better for me next week also: i'm gonna be away from computers this weekend (except for sunday) because i'm gonna be heading home to take care of a few things...like pick up a couple of games and do an early vote x3 (i'm voting for Mike Huckabee, if anyone's interested ^_^)

in particular, i'm going to snag a little game from someone back near where i live. the game in question is called Alundra. i think it was supposed to be the official response of 'Sony' to Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series. i say 'Sony' because it's not exactly made by Sony at all...it's just a playstation game.

which brings me to the awesome next point: i realized that i like the older, simpler games a lot more than most of the newer ones. i've played through Final Fantasy Tactics SEVERAL times, for example. so i had some store credit in a little store in the mall in my college's town, and i decided to purchase a PS1. (it's so itty bitty! x3 i forgot how small it was!! xD)

i know some of you would've probably gone for the PSX (the original version of the playstation, not the updated version, the Playstation one), but i didn't think about it too much. some people would've gotten the PSX so they could mod it and play burned or downloaded games off of the internet...i obviously didn't realize that i could've done that until after i bought my PS1.

i know what you're thinking: But Manji! Pirated games are illegal!!
they are. and there's a reason why piracy in this day and age is such a big deal. let's face it, tons of people download music and stuff online all the time, whether they rightfully pay for it or not. i'm not promoting the act of piracy, but this little thought DID cross my mind when i realized the possibilities i could've had with a PSX.

i still could go back and get one...but i figure 'meh!'
downloading awesome games from online is one way to play them. that's the pirated way to play playstation games. however, after i realized that i missed out on something with the PSX, it made me feel happier that i now owned a PS1....simply because i now have a goal!

i looked online and found a HUGE list of playstation games i always wanted to either try, buy, or collect, whether i played them or not. some of them are pretty rare, too! (anyone ever remember Diablo, one of Blizzard's first big PC titles? yeah, they have Diablo 1 on the playstation! WTF??? xD)

this list is pretty much a dream list, but it's definitely something i can work towards completing ^-^ everyone needs simpler goals in life, so how about i get a collection of old, awesome playstation games? ;3 i think i'll start with Alundra!

I've seen some artwork of people's pokemon teams, and little deviant IDs that basically show a trainer card with someone and their pokemon team...i'd love to get one done of me, but i don't know where the heck to get a little ID like that made (or at least the template)...plus it'd be nice if i could get my avvy on the trainer card, but it'd have to be either a reworked sprite to fit my 'Manji' look, unless i jsut went with a generic character picture on it...

I don't have my team finalized yet, because a few members need to be switched out and the new members need to be leveled up, but i have a team i'd love to get on my profile, somehow x3

The only two i need to get in there are the Lucario and the Golduck. I used to use my golduck, but switched it out with other pokemon for the remainder of the game. it's lvl 37 right now, but i still think it's better than my Empoleon, regardless of the steel type Empoleon has. The female Lucario i need to breed right. i have 2 baby Riolu, so all it really entales is getting the pokemon i want to produce baby Riolu that has the right moveset i'd like on it....then i need to make enough babies until i get a female one x3 (i'd like female because it'd be even rarer than normal [Riolu and Lucario are female only 12.5% of the time...the rest you see them as male]...plus i feel like my party needs more girls )

if anyone could possibly send me the link to where one of those Trainer cards might be, i would be very grateful! ^_^

(also: i really love the new pokemon games...so now the best in the series [imo] are Red/Blue and Diamond/Pearl)

also also: i love my Hippowdon x3 i already love him more than Golduck (so far), but if he could learn surf, he'd easily fit the slot for my favorite pokemon of all time <3

...too bad he'd sink like a rock (he's ground type only) xD

PERSONAL UPDATE (aka where the heck have you been, Manji?!?!?!?)

for everyone hoping to see me on YIM, i'm not on simply because i've been busy. i got home, and stuff came up and happened. For one, i went to a friend's funeral...well...a friend of several of my friends..i only met the guy once, but it felt only right to go to the funeral. that happened right after i got home from college last week.

for another, i've been hanging out with some friends in real life.
and another very, very good reason: i've been playing some Rock Band with a few of my friends =3

we don't play online, and we aren't good enough to all go on expert, but i've found that i make a semi-decent vocalist if i knew the words to all of the songs by heart, (or at least listened to them a couple of times outside the game), then i would probably be a little better. As it stands, i'm good at Dani California (the first night i played rock band, we played this at least 3 or 4 times. one time i got 100% on it as vocals, the rest i got 99%), and i'm good at a few others (Long Time, simply because i love Boston, that Flyleaf song, simply because i can hit the high notes astoundingly accurately, according to my friends [i still got around a 90% or so on it on medium, though], and several others i can't name, but know the words to).

As one of my friends informed me: "Rock Band is AWESOME, and totally a forgiveable reason for not being around" ~MilkyBody

My mother was thrilled to see me, and i'm glad i went back home. the drive there and back went a little quicker than imagined, both ways (i guess when you get used to driving on the open road, the distance doesn't really bother you). Besides, i had good music with me and knew where i was going, so it was definitely an easy 2-hour drive home and back. i would've gotten to take some ribs back as a little meal once i got back up here, but my brother ate them, so i got to take back the rest of the homemade pumpkin pie my mother made me (since i'm the only person in my family that even likes pumpkin pie! x3)

so finals are coming...don't know how that's going to affect my time on DA, but oh well. just keep that in mind if you don't see me on much at all =3

As for other stuff, is back, and making art of me again! yay!!! x3

i'm helping out with some ideas with stuff...or at least i was last night i don't know if he's actually gonna use any of the ideas i tossed at him, but i'm seeing myself as somewhat of a muse because of that x3 a very, very lazy muse xD

has made a new part of her inflation 'lesson' story. definitely worth the read, if you're into the inflation thing (although it seems like more, better stuff will come with the next piece of the story x3)

and, last but certainly not least, has the next episode in his Demigirls saga up! i read through this newest episode, and i am almost speechless x3 it's definitely a thriller. i was going through the motions of it. whether you're into inflation or any of the other 'interests' he's into or not, this one is DEFINITELY worth the read! i would highly suggest this little read to anyone looking for a good story. **(if you'd like to catch up on the earlier pieces in his saga, just look for the first 7 episodes in his DA page).


as for me, i can't be sure when i'll actually start working on the next few stories i have lined up...so far, i've got something for , , and a new one that'll be a part of an art trade with ...now all i need to do is get some more details from hocuspukeus about his characters x3 (he's going through so many changes with them that i need to clarify what the ones that'll be in it will look like...and which ones will be in there, too!! Dx talk about confusion! lol)

may have other stuff planned, but i'd have to wait until all of these other ones get taken care of first. for now, please don't request any more stories!! i have no clue when i'll even finish all of these (although it'll hopefully be over the Christmas break!), so please, no requests. i'm gonna be hesitant to even do art trades until i get this stuff done. sorry for the delay!

i think i'm gonna be going home for Thanksgiving, in any case...don't worry! i'll only be gone tomorrow and some Thursday. i'm just going back home (to my hometown) rather than the Hill Country to eat dinner with my family. my parents wanted to eat there, since my brother is kinda confined to my hometown, what with him actually getting off his butt and working two jobs (unlike me....i still feel the need to get an internship, but my parents would rather have me pass than worry about grades AND a job).

so as it stands, tonight (and some of tomorrow), i'm going to finish up the little bit of work that i have left, and then take a few things back home. On Thursday (hopefully in the evening, sometime, rather than 8 or 9 at night), i shall return to my humble, dusty, badly-in-need-of-a-dusting dorm room, full, happy, and stuffed full of yummy bird meat and the stuff that tends to go with it x3

i don't have my football ticket yet () but regardless of whether i do or don't have the ticket, i'll still be back here for the game. if i have the ticket, i'll go to the game...if not, then i'll probably wind up watching the football game/enjoying the nice, warm temperature rather than the cold, wet temperature it's supposed to be on the day after Thanksgiving/distracted and balancing my concentration on half-football-game-on-tv and half-writing-up-some-literature-for-people-wanting-awesomeness!

after struggling with myself through my options, i've come up with a way to keep myself 100% happy, and that WON'T hurt my mother on this great, American holiday n-n

HERE'S HOW THINGS WORK!! (don't hurt me if i'm a teensy bit off)
1.) if you want to send a note to someone, copy their account name and go to your page that has the tabs for the newly added deviations from artists you're watching, community messages, and notes. *(the easiest way to describe this is basically the window you go to when you click the link near the top of the screen that says your name, has the logout option, and what subscriptions you have. it'll show how many deviations have been added lately, how many messages you have unread, and how many personal notes you have unread. clicking any one of those will take you to the page i described). **(if you have any question on the account name of someone, it's basically their handle or screen name on DA. for me, my name would be manji-luo [no need to copy the ~ symbol].)

2.) once you're on the page that has the tabs for community messages, notes, and deviations, click on the one that says "Notes" if you're not already in the section that has your notes

3.) paste the name of the deviant you copied into the "recipient(s)" blank of the "send a devious note" section.

4.) fill the other two sections out with a title and the message you want to send.


that appears to be the new way to send notes. so far, i think it's working, because even though it's confusing as heck (although incredibly simple) to work, i haven't gotten a single spam note since they changed this system up.

THINGS TO NOTE:
-i don't think it'll let you reply to someone directly if you try to send them a note, so if you click the "reply" button at the bottom of the box that has a specific note you're viewing, it won't send it through. instead, click on the note you want to view, then scroll down past that note to the section already up right below it (you'll notice that it's a "send a devious note" section with all of the past information from the noted conversation in there, just with the recipient blank empty). fill that blank out with who you want to send it to (preferably the person you were talking to in the note), and click the "send note" button to send your response to the person you were talking to in the note.

-you can check if your note went through by two ways: 1.) if you're replying to a note that hasn't been replied to, you can see the difference. notes that haven't been replied to have no red arrow on them while a note that HAS been replied to has a red arrow on it. that means your message was sent. 2.) if you click on the "sent items" link in the notes section, then you can see blank notes, blank notes with arrows, and both blank notes and blank notes with arrows colored yellow. the yellow color means that the person recieving it hasn't opened the note to read it yet, while the arrows on the note icons means that you've sent another note to the other person off of that note, (basically, you send one note, then reply to the person again, just adding on to the note you've sent). if your note you sent is there, yellow or normally colored, you'll know your note got sent.

-if you have any trouble trying to reply to a note, just copy all of what was said in the note and place all of the information in a completely new note. it'll be exactly like the old note you were replying to, except the only difference that might be noticeable is the title (unless you copy that, too).

Unfortunately, I decided that i'd actually sit down and have a breakfast....well, i got a bowl of cereal (with my big bowl specially purchased for cooking whole cans of soup as a meal :3 ) and halfway through the breakfast wasn't sitting too well...so now my stomache if a tiny bit queesy.

That's just a weird perk about me, i like to work when i have little distractions: bodily, outside influences, and so on. so, i've decided to procrastinate a little more and screw around until the queesiness goes away (hopefully that'll be after lunch!)

so i've been on here the last hour or so...why am i posting this message, you ask? well, i just felt like i'd ask a general consensus:

my friends and i were talking about random stuff last night when Jedi powers came up. One of my friends said that he'd like to be able to use 'force lightning' while in a star fighter, and that 'it would own'. my other friend popped up and said that he'd rather have more Jedi powers, namely, enough to move two suns (aka stars. MOVING TWO STARS!! omgwtfbbq) and crashing them together to take out a ship. the guy that made that comment also is one of the biggest space nerds i've ever met (and he's an aerospace engineer...go figure!)

it didn't take me too long before i decided to retort with a better decision. "if i could pick any Jedi power, it'd be force heal" (basically the healing abilities of the force). the two guys i was talking with said "naw, i'd rather kill stuff". To that, i simply retorted this:

"You can't lose if you have force healing as your Jedi power! With your abilities, you'll have bounty hunters chasing after you and trying to kill you. With me, I'd just be there sitting and healing people. If any bounty hunter wants to capture me, they'll see me healing people and be like 'oh....uhm...you're useless..come with me and heal us and we won't kill you'. So rather than risk getting killed, you'll be healing people instead, and helping them out. Any bounty hunter than tries to kill you is just stupid!"

If you think about it, that seems like the safest way to go. There's no way you can lose! best case scenario: you heal good people. worst case scenario: you heal bad people. it's a win-win situation, you'll never be able to lose unless you come across morons with guns...which, hopefully, won't ever be given the title "professional bounty hunter"

so here's the part where i ask you, the reader: if you could have any -one- force power, what would it be?



((on a side note, i know i'm a dork. i know what most of this stuff is mostly through all the star wars games that i've played...along with Star Wars Galaxies...but that game's a whole 'nother rant! xP))

in any case, i'm kinda happy though....aside from feeling hot and sweaty all day, i'm doing pretty good...got a little headache now, but i'm happy.

why am i so happy?
because i bought two very awesome things saturday x3
1.) the Jimi Hendrix Experience - BBC Sessions album, which has more casual, on-the-spot, impromptu recordings of songs by The Experience. If you've ever heard Spanish Castle Magic in any other form, and THEN heard the BBC Sessions rendition, you'll probably agree: the BBC Sessions version is WAY better =3

2.) The other thing i bought was a new DVD - one that came out a couple of weeks ago - that is the pure, rare recording video of Jimi Hendrix's performance at the Monterey Pop Festival back in 1967. I only knew about this DVD's existance because i did a report on Jimi Hendrix for my speech class a couple of weeks ago, and they happened to have info on this album on the Jimi Hendrix tribute website.

Why am i so nuts about Jimi Hendrix? the answer is simple: i'm not. i just like his music. i tend to buy albums in similar categories, unless i'm spending a buncha money at the same time. So when i picked up the BBC Sessions double-disc album (which was conveniently priced at the cost of -1- CD n.n) i saw this DVD of Jimi's live performance at Monterey and i jsut HAD to buy it x3

WHY did i buy THIS DVD, of all the other good DVD's out there?
Even Simpler! This DVD contains the performance where good ol' Jimi lights his guitar on fire on stage =3

i'm not that much of a pyro, but for anyone into classic rock and anything that rocks pretty hard, this is right up your alley (and mine) x3

the other things that i'm happy for that i didn't buy:
3.) one of my professors decided to be nice to us for once, so we don't have any homework on Wednesday (more time to work on my next speech paper and/or screw around)

4.) is finally getting to my request i asked him for..and so far it's looking fantastic! xD

i knew i've kinda gotten a teensy bit popular on DA, because i searched for "Manji" on the art search a week or two ago when i got bored. Apparently, there's a japanese anime character named Manji....so it was kinda funny to see this buff, strong, i'm-gonna-slice-your-throat-if-you-talk-to-me kinda guy covering the first page....and then have 2 pictures of me bloated like a balloon on the front page xD

i searched earlier today, and apparently 's drawings of me, so far, have become the most popular pieces found under the "Manji" search category x3 i'm definitely happy (i should probably stop art whoring....but it's just too fun to see what people can come up with! xD)

ON A SIDE NOTE!!

I still have yet to work on the next few pieces of literature for you wonderful people watching me so far i have a story between me and lined up, and i need to think up a good plot for sometime...unfortunately, my little art piece for is gonna have to be a belated birthday gift. i don't think i'll have time to actually work on it unless i get a nice plot of free time during the Thanksgiving break (i'm gonna be staying up in my dorm room so i can attend my university's football game x3). And the best chances of that happening are if my roommate leaves...kinda gets odd when people look over your shoulder onto this sorta thing, ya know? ~manji-luo
