I finally got that subscription I've been wanting to sign up for! Now managing my account will be much easier... And I get to have lovely banners again.

I wanted to officially announce that my Etsy shop, my Commissions page, and My art blog are now open. I am trying to have a larger online presence, to help sell art so I can afford to go to school.

So there will be more activity in the coming weeks. More posts, more pictures going up, more things being added to my shop, etc.

But I am going to try and be better! To come back and actually post consistently like I once did. It was tough over the summer because I had no access to a scanner. But I've got some time coming up after the holidays so I'm going to try to be good and update, comment, show love and support and all of that jazz.

I really need to clean out my inbox... If I have any money left over from the holidays I am going to buy a subscription, that makes it so much easier to go through images. And then I can make pretty journal entries. I need to go through and edit who I watch also. Like, thousands of artists, and I just can't handle that much art anymore, it just won't work.

I loved my dorm in Boston, I love the city, I love the area that my school is in. It was sad to say goodbye to my room and it was painful to pack up all my stuff, mostly because I had so much shit.

I'm glad to be back home because I love my house, and am so excited to see all of my friends who are back from college.

Goals for the summer:
-PRODUCTIVE ART STUFF
-job
-get over my dislike of driving and get my license
-sell all my old shit on ebay to make room for my new crap.

Tokyo was amazing, and I am missing it and the friends I stayed with there more and more each minute. As of now I am back in my dorm, after a particularly painful set of plane and car rides.

I took soooo many pictures, as soon as I get settled in and unpacked, I will be posting the more artistic ones up here.


SADLY tokyo was terribly expensive and I have absoultely no money left. I'm looking for a part time job, but since I'm taking an extra class this semester and art college is the devil of work, I don't know how able I'll be to hold one down.

I'm finally done with finals and back home in my nice cozy house. My mom got all excited that I was coming home and made the house all magical and christmasy. I am finished with all x-mas shopping, so I can finally relax.

and now:

Rules: The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 Weird Habits/Things About Yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a journal about their 6 Weird Habits/Things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names.

1. I'm a very tactile person. I have to touch... everything. I... expirience things by touching them. I think I have extra nerve endings or something strange like that (which explains why I can't take pain @_@ ) The thing about this is that people find me very strange. I was in art class, and there was this old saw, and I just kept running my fingers along the razored edge. It felt really nice, but the guy who owned it looked at me like I was insane. I'm especially that way in relationships... when I'm dating someone, I just want to touch them... all of the time.

2. I have... art ADHD. I am constantly switiching projects and starting new ones, getting ideas for another one that i just have to drop everything to start working on. Which Is why I never get anything done. I have a hell of a lot of different supplies because of this. I do so many different crafts... all the time. If I stuck to one thing I could probably be really good at that... but no such luck.

3.I have very conflicting traits. It probably comes from the fact that I have parents who are COMPLETE opposites in every aspect. It makes me a bit crazy.


4. I am so, so afraid about not being successful. I... freak out about it all of the time. I want to be able to take care of myself and not have to worry about not being able to pay the rent, or for food or anything else. I want to be able to make things that I like to make and be able to make money that way, but I doubt that my life will turn out that way.

5. I'm alway so sarcastic. Most of the time people who don't know me well can't tell when I'm joking about something or not. I guess it's because I'll say these crazy things with a completely straight face. Also a lot of the time I take jokes too far and hurt feelings, although I don't mean to. It comes from growing up in my house, where we are all constantly teasing, making fun of, and wearing one another down.

6. I'm a very forgiving person. I've forgiven people who have done horrible, horrible things to me. It's rare that someone will draw the line to where I won't forgive them. There's probably only one person I feel that way about now.

On a side note I am competely broke from school and christmas shopping, and my funding for japan. I have to get a job when I get back from break, I don't make enough money from the scarce amount of commissions that I get to pay for food or school supplies.

I am sooo slow on the updating. What can I say, art college is taking up all my time with magical adventures. I did however start a new online thing, to get more of my art online, and to help others do the same. I started a sketch journal community [link] which is still open for members currently. If anyone is interested in joining, please go and look at the information posted and request to become a member. I've had a lot of people show interest so far, and with more contribution I think it could develope into quite a nice artistic community.


In other news I will try try TRY to get some finished art up here soon. I am currently painting a Ryuk (from deathnote) ceramic sculpture, working on a painting, and doing all kinds of horrible art for class.

I have a really great sort of instillation project that's coming together in a couple of months, and I'll post up a bunch of pictures and a description when it's all set it. I'm really very excited about it.

Watching: a requim for a dream

I am all moved in to college! I've actually been moved in for over a week, but god knows I've been too busy to update until now. My dorm is... fantastic. I live in this really clean apartment-like dorm with 3 other girls who are really nice and sweet. We have a full kitchen with a stove, sink, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. We've got a cute little living-room area where we can watch television and play videogames. All of my two-car loads of junk fits in my room, with plenty of space to spare.

Boston is a great city, and I'm so glad to be living here. We live in a really nice area, with lots of great shops and a T stop right outside the buidling. We've even got a little grocery store at the base of the residence building for convinience. I really like it here, it feels like home. I was really lonely at first but now I don't even feel the desire to go back to my real home. Lives right down the street, so we get to hang out and have fun all of the time. And is only a few train rides away! Most anything that I need is walking distance, and there is almost something to do. Of course now I'm swamped with crazy art projects @_@ Who does art in art college, I would like to know.

My scanner is not working yet because I have lost the instillation disk, so no art scans until I find out how to get that working. If anyone knows where I could get a PSC 1510 instillation program online, please let me know and I will love you forever.


Also I sold my sora and roxas pins whoo. I have a bunch more clay stuff to post up that I made all summer.

I have to say, that I completely forgot about DA's birthday. And I feel ashamed. I probably would have known if I hadn't been so lazy and read the announcements before deleating them. Live and learn.
I think that version 5 looks good so far. I like that people can view more pictures now from the gallery, and in the favorites. It probably has some glitches but those will most likely be worked out in time. I just hope it doesn't spark horrible DA drama, as these things tend to do.


In other news I am moving into my dorm room september 2nd! I'll be online up until really close to and after moving day. My scanner however will be disconnected so there won't be too much art from me. Though I doubt anyone will notice.

I haven't been online much lately because it's been so damn hot here, and my room doesn't have air conditioning. My poor computer dies in the heat. Luckily though, I got my new laptop computer (graduation gift) and my dad finally got a wireless connection set up. So right at this very moment I am sitting in my lovely air conditioned living room, typing on my sexy tablet laptop. It's my babyyy I love it. I just have to transfer all of my files to this comp. And hook up my printer/scanner. But luckily my old computer is still hooked up so I can still scan things.

I've also been busy with work. I've been doing a kids craft camp at the store, which runs until friday, and maybe a few more days into next week. It's been so much fun, the kids are crazy but so adorable. Kids love me. It's so cute, I'm so glad that I get to do it. Yesterday the two girls I had there made me draw them pictures and then they made me jewlery out of pipe cleaners. So cute, they fill my heart with joy.

I've been drawing a lot, so expect new art soon!

I'm alive! How glorious. I graduated somehow, even though I skipped class about 14 times, missed commemoration, and was late to graduation practice. I even got to walk across the stage with my lovely National Honors art society cord.

Guess what bitches, it's my birthdayyy. I Am 18. I can smoke, vote, buy porn, go to stripclubs, play the lotto, run away, get married, and maybe even do a few other things I can't remember right now. But it's great.

I had a really nice day, had a half day of school with my friends who gave me some really sweet cards, and then went out to lunch with my mom and dad. After that I went and got GUITAR HERO (OMG SO HOT) at the mall, and tried to go see "thank you for smoking" only to find out that it had been CANCELLED by the stupid movie theatre for some gay homosexual concert from a GAY SATELITE. They cancelled the only showing of the movie I wanted to see, but of course they still had four theatres playing tom cruise's gay Mission impossible three movie. God I hate you hoytz. I did however get free movie passes so I could come back another day.

Anyway, then I went grocery shopping (whoo, wild), and then came home to play some GUITAR HERO with my brother. Then when my dad came home my family went out for sushi (oh god, so much delicious sushi) and gave me a birthday present.

Also I got a hot 70$ sewing machine from walmart. I made.. felt things. It was exciting.



Also, I am SO CLOSE TO GRADUATING. I'm dragging my broken legs to the finish line, and can not wait to get out of this town and to college. I'm not normally a person who likes change, but I'm really anticipating the next "chapter" of my life. It's definately going to be.. interesting.


Anyways, things are going well, and I will be posting up all the horrible art that I've done over this year, as soon as I get it back from the school's art show.

I got into Massart!!! I just got the admission packet in the mail (finally) and i'm so excited. I got into all three of the colleges that I applied to.

Massart
Art Institute of Boston- 7,000 a year scholarship
Montserrat college of art- 4,000 a year scholarship

I'm still not entirely sure where I'll go.. but I'm pretty sure that it's going to be Massart. I'm going to try to go visit there again soon the check out the housing and make a final choice.

so... I won a year subscription to deviantart. Randomly.
=Fangfingers bought me one because of a random drawing of names out of the people who faved his DD. I didn't even know about it, I feel so lucky.

Oh god... college applications. No more I say. Thank god It will all be done within a month or two, because I am sick of applications. I have two college meetings this weekend and then one more after that. I hope to have it all done by the beginning of december, so I can relax a bit and have more time for other things during the christmas season. My Sexy old camera needs repairing, but I've learned the magical ways of processing film. When I get everything fixed and done, i'll post some magical photographs up on DA.

I got a Job at the art chain store, Michaels. With =zombiehunter and =HopOnTheYacht. It's good fun, and I get 7$ an hour, and a 25% discount off of all magical art supplies.

This summer before college I'm (most likely) going to JAPAN for a week or so. My parents said I could go, it's alright with erin =lucky444, we'll just have to make final plans when the year ends. Of course with my job I'll have some money saved up to have a really good time

Saturday I went to boston on the train with cael to the Wizard comic convention. I saw all these random celebrities, like Eliza Dushku [link] and Lou ferrigno. There was a lot of awesome comic art there, it was inspiring.

On October 15th, I am going with =darksilicon and ~whiterabbit1613 to go see FRANZ FERDINAND in concert at the Orpheum. I'm sooo excited. 10th row tickets, it's going to be awesome. Yes alex, yes I do want to!

Oh, and we had field day at my school, which the seniors won, Obviously. All three years, oh yes. Everyone signed the back of my senior shirt, it was cute.


I'm still looking for a room at anime boston, or a group of people who want to stay with me and split the bill. I'd rather not have to take the train in and out of boston at the end of each day. So drop me a line if you have any notion to be staying with me.

The school year has started once again. Since it's the magical senior year time, I signed up for all the classes that I actually wanted to take, instead of torturing myself with boring classes that I really have no use for since I'm going to an art college

Not only do most my classes kick ass, but I've got great teachers for all of my classes. And I have at least one friend in every class.

I'm really excited about my photography class, because we have a whole fancy photography development lab, and We get to learn how to take and develope our own black and white pictures. I even found out that my dad has this really old manual camera that needs to be fixed a bit, but that is otherwise perfect that I can have. He has all these awesome really exspensive lenses for it.

It's such a beautiful camera, I'm basically in love with it It's so old and fancy. My dad bought it back in the 70's. It even has this old rainbow strap on it XD



I went out and bought film and photography paper. Today I went out and took pictures of my family with it in the back yard. We're going to get the film developed to see what shape the camera is actually in. Hopefully it isn't too bad because I actually got some really good pictures when I was out there. I guess we'll have to see.

Yesterday I went out and got oil paints, the photography supplies, and a bag that some guy was selling at a yard sale. It was brand new and I think he might have stolen it because It had a K-mart tag on the inside, but He was selling it for three dollars and it was too pretty not to buy XD Also It has the wrong zodiac sign on it, but again who cares.



Right now I'm painting pretty things with the oil paints. I got water soluble ones because turpentine is scary, and these are easier to use. I really love these paints, they're smooth like regular oils. I'll post up what I've done with them once I finish. Also I'll post up some of the art that I did for AP once I get it back.

Oh, I changed my Icon and ID if no one noticed. I don't like my Icon, I'll probably change it again soon.

But for now, It's a lovely relaxing three day weekend.

This will be my last journal entry before school starts, which is wednesday. I'll probably be too busy tomorrow to update anything, but If I find the time I'll post some more art. I've done soooo much artwork this summer @_@ Yet I still haven't finished all my AP work XD. But I only have one picture left to do for it, so it should be ok.

I'm excited for this year, because everything is starting to change. It's my last year in highschool. In a few months I'll be applying to colleges and scholarships. Then I'll be turning 18, getting into a new job, doing my AP test, getting out of school early, and Hopefully be going to Japan for a week or two. And this year I finally get to take all the classes that I'm really interested in.

I'm going to be sooo stressed out because I have a million things to do, but it will be worth it And then after next summer ends I'll be going off to a magical art college.



My subscription is going to be gone in about a week, which is sad I love putting pictures of random things in my journal, it makes everything pretty. Also I made that cheap nifty header in photoshop. Maybe I'll find out how to drudge up some money and get some more sub time. Who knows.

I am using the fabulous subscriber journal privaledges because I won a month sub at DA's magical 5th birthday bash I spent sooo much time on the chats I'm glad that I managed to win something. Otherwise I would have... died.

I've still been really busy, getting lots of stuff done prepairing for my senior year, which will be starting at the end of the month. Hopefully I'll get everything done and be nice and relaxed until the horrible stress of school overwhelms me.

Tomorrow the lovely =zombiehunter will be joining me for an outing to the local mall for a day of shopping and movie-going. we're going to go see RED EYE, which comes out right on friday. And for what reason, pray tell?

Also, I wanted to find a group of people who want to stay overnight in the hotel rooms. I may get a room myself because I will be 18 by the time the con rolls around, or If someone else Is planning to get a room, then I'd like to tag onto that group.
It's really early to start making plans, but I'd at least like to get the idea out there so that everyone can start to know whats up.

And I'd really like to have a Hotel room secured somehow sometime soon, so that I don't have to worry myself over how i'll manage to get to stay at the con. I'm worried about how quickly the hotel rooms will go as well, considering the huge mass of people attending the con.

Room information:
175$ for one night. 2 double beds.

Thats 350$ for two nights which is the normal stay time. If you split that between 5 people then it's only 70$ for each person.

So everyone let me know if you have any idea of plans so far.

I know this is really early Some people aren't even thinking about the convention yet, nevermind how they'll manage to get around there. I just like to get things done as soon as possible so that I don't have to worry.

The problem with most of this outrage is all the misunderstandings going around here on deviantart. People basing their knowledge on what has happened from a few quotes and excerpts created on other people's journals and forum posts. I think the most important thing is for everyone to actually go and read the administrators journal submissions. Spyed's journals especially, since he has dedicated his time trying to spell out exactly what is going on with deviantart.

A forum post that has caused a lot of uproar is this one: [link]
which discusses jarks plans for deviantart. But actually go and read his journals on his topic. All three of them. The way that the post describes the journal entry makes it seem like an evil plan, the opposite of what it actually is. People who state that they don't even understand the journal are still spouting out about what they think it means.

And then the most recent post discussing Jark's expulsion and the current unsettlement in the DA community. It explains through all the bad rumors stated about deleted comments, journals, etc. [link]

READ THEM. If you're still going to have a negative opinion towards the deviantart administration, at least be properly informed about it.

Now for my personal "rant"

I am completely surprised about how quickly and easily people have risen up against deviantart and its administrators. This is an amazing art website that has been helpful and welcoming to all those who chose to join it. Why do you think that it's grown so much in popularity? It is a high quality community art website that values all of its members.

The firing of Jark is unfortunate, no one will disagree on that. But everyone on this site needs to have some faith Although the reasons for the firing haven't been disclosed due to legalities, there has to have been a good reason. He wouldn't have been fired from deviantart for something miniscule! There has to have been some major reason that would cause him to be taken off the deviantart staff. And if you go and read the history of deviant that is in the previously posted Spyed entries, you'll get more of a grip on things.

The disappearance of jark does not mean that deviant will get thrown into the depths of some heartless corporation! Most of the other important contributors and founders of the website are still on the staff. I find it absolutely ridiculous that people have come to such crazy conclusions without even having a slight idea as to what they are talking about. Why would the people who have dedicated so much of their time and energy and hearts into this website do something that would anger so many deviants, and be unbeneficial to the overall site? Everyone really needs to take a step back and gain some perspective on the subject.

The thing that has made many many people so shaken is the idea that now deviantart is becoming less of a community and turning into a corporation. It's turned into some kind of miss-fed propaganda that’s caused a lot of hysteria. I came from an impartial view about this in the beginning, but now that I've read over all the facts I know that all the hype isn't true.

If you actually read and understand the journals that spyed has written you will realize that in no way is he trying to get rid of the community of deviantart. The "GROUPS" thing is merely another idea that is being experimented with to try and bring more individual focus on artists who deserve recognition. None of which is a bad thing. Even if you don't like the idea, it isn't final yet! He says that it's just an idea that’s being thought out, not the definite future for deviantart. The administrators have always done things that will be good for the community. They think about the individual member's complaints and needs and wants from the website. Everything that they do is to make deviantart better, and to expand the site. The subscriptions, the prints, all of this goes into helping them make money so that they can continue to support each artist that posts work on this site.

I applied for another job... at the local grocery store. Not exactly glamorous, but the closest thing nearby that would possibly have an opening. I applied to the other grocery store before, but they never got back to me so I decided to just apply to the one closer to my house. I really hope I get the job because I could really use the extra money. My mum had a conniption when she heard I was applying now with school so close, but just earlier today she was hassling me about getting a job to pay for college. Apparently she wanted me to work all summer, but not during the school year. aggrivating.

I'm going to be SO busy this school year. I don't know why I let myself get sucked up into all of this stuff.

It's been a really good summer so far, I'm working hard on acomplishing my goals, and they're getting done. I signed up for some art classes which start tomorrow, and I'm really excited for them. Still sticking to my diet, which is going well, and I hope to have lost a lot of weight by the time school starts.

I'm working on all kinds of projects... artwork that I need to get done for school, personal journal works, and I've even been doing some manga pages (which I'll post up after I've finished a majority of them).

ohhh One more day of finals and I am DONE! Ohh I'm so happy. I can't wait to be done with this year and go on to summer vacation. Only one more year of highschool and I can get out of here.

Matt and I have been having tons of fun, going out all the time and doing stuff. Today we spent all day walking everywhere in this town, for miles, shopping and taking pictures and having a really great time. Tomorrow we're going to see some movies and have fun at the mall. By the end of this week my feet will probably be dead.

Clay pins

I've been making these for quite a long time, and selling them at anime conventions for a few years. They are pins (or pendants if preferred) handmade out of clay, then glazed so that they are shiny and protected. They take me about a half hour to an hour to make.

I mostly spent the whole con at the artist's alley, which was boring at points but mostly fun. I talked to a lot of other artists who were really nice and funny.

I Sold almost all the pins i made, 2 of the predrawn works (including that picture of the girl in the snow) and a bunch of commissions and chibi comissions. So many wonderful people came by and gave me compliments on the pins and my artwork

I actually made a whole lot of money. Last year i made about 40$, and this year I made 240$!! But i spent just about ALL OF IT XD;; I bought a bunch of art supplies and tone and then a bunch of crap i didn't really need but wanted because it was there and I had lots of money to blow. I had brought a hundred with me in the beginning, and when i got home there was 114$ left. So i kind of gained 14$, and then 200000 billion$ worth of anime junk. (like a sassy red FLCL t-shirt)

Oh, and continuing my con tradition, i got hit on by a creepy old guy. when he first saw my table he walked by, but then he came back up when he saw me;;; and he asked about a commission, but he didn't really make any sense. I think he was a bit looney. and then he kept shaking my hand and gave me his phone number. He also asked if josh (who was with me) was my boyfriend. He seemed creepily happy when he found out that he wasn't. I don't know if i should call him because he was scary, but then i might get a commission out of it so I'm not sure what to do yet. I don't know why i'm attractive to creepy old guys. I wish i was attractive to people my age (or at least under like age 40) who are considerably less creepy.

Now before i kill you with details, i would like to say that next monday is my birthday!! everyone buy me presents. May 9th. I will be magically 17. Which I think means that I am legal now (thats what mum said but she's crazy too so who knows) so no more illegal loving XD

Oh and =sirkowski, One person came up to look at the pins and reconised your character from newgrounds, and another girl actually bought eva! I don't know if she knew who eva was, but she still bought her. I found that quite amusing.

Anyway, I posted the pictures of my pins to the AB forums and Livejournal, and got a really great response. Lots of people commented about liking the pins and a bunch of people have comissioned me to make pins for them that they'll buy at the con. So i'm really excited and busy with that right now. It makes me so happy when people like my stuff. And now tons of people will come visit me at my table

I'm going to be so sad when the con ends. So much build up for months waiting for it to come and then it's over. I need to find more things to stay busy with (stuff that I actually like... aka not school work).

My dad has an interview for a job on thursday, so hopefully he gets it, and then i'll stop worrying about our financial situation and we won't be so poor.

oh, and I lost the sheet about the after prom party, which we need to have in (I think) before we go to the con. So all my RL friends need to talk to about it if we're still all going. And about who will take who along as a guest (like recca and midge).

Anyway, it's still vacation and although i've been considerably less lazy than i normally am during time off from school, i'm still not getting as much done as i would like to. I have managed to make a decent amount of clay pins, but i have not managed to find a stand for them, or make the backings. I haven't really drawn anything for AB either, although thats less important.

Also i need to post more art stuff before vacation ends. I've been neglecting to do so, even though i'm near my scanner all the time. (lazy)

Besides that exciting news Anime boston is next week! Everybody dance a geeky anime dance now. I've been making lots of little clay pins which will hopefully make money, even though they would never make enough money to pay back all the costs of being able to go to the convention to sell them in the first place. Good thing i don't care.

Also, it's spring and beautiful outside. The only downpoint is that spiders are back and running rampant throughout my house, along with mosquitoes (which are flying instead of running, but you get the picture). Today while in the bathroom getting sunscreen, two giant hairy black ones decided to corner me, making me have to leap over them and then make a dash to find someone wearing shoes to kill them. It was very exciting, and i may have a future in olympic pole valting.

So i've been working like crazy this week... i've stayed afterschool everyday except tuesday. I've taken over like 6 tests, did a big performance presentation, a chemistry project, and did club stuff for anime movie night on friday. Also i went shopping for my mom's birthday, worked on AB05 art stuff, and cooked lots of healthy foods for myself.
I am very tired.

The good thing though is that Next week will be (hopefully) considerably lighter in the work load and fun, since i have an art field trip with * zombiehunter and *darksilicon
and then the week after that is vacation, which i am more than ready for.

Also now i am on a diet so that i can become attractive and have a new boyfriend sometime in the near future.
Fun.

Note: Uggh i am horrible because i still owe ~SockWeasle artwork from a billion years ago. I will get it done, it's just that everytime i try drawing your person i make them look like a mutated sea monster. I am very sorry, i promise to get it done soon @_@;

Anyway, went to my new art class on saturday, which was nice. I don't know anyone there so it's just very quiet and peaceful for me. It was a beautiful rainy day as well, which i love. It's costume design, which i know nothing about and i doubt i have any real skill for, but it's nice to take something that will expand my knolage a bit. Anyway, our first assignment is to interpret The West side story and design outfits for all the characters. If I produce anything good i'll post it up here. It seems unlikely though.

Also, for those of my friends who didn't know, josh and i broke up.

and on an ending note, being single sucks, and so does school.

I'm still pretty sick, although my fever has gone down a bit. I hope i'll be in school tomorrow, but i'm not sure. If i can't make it to school in the morning i'll try to get there for the last class of the day so that i can hand in my art stuff and bring in the posters for the movie night. Who knows, i'll have to see how i feel in the morning.

Since i didn't get to go to the movie friday, i was wondering if anyone was interested in maybe going to one this friday. I'm not sure what movie yet, but i was sad to have missed the last one and want to get together with everyone.

besides that, these past few days have been horrible beyond belief. But i guess things can only get better when you hit rock bottom.

OMG ART ALL STATE INTERVIEW.

I just got back. I was sooo nervous. I actually got out of school early to go find something fancy to wear and got to have a delicious sushi lunch with me madre.

Ok, so i was really worried about it all, but it ended up going Really really well! They were really nice and i was very friendly and open and honest in our conversation. We basically just talked about my art pieces and the meaning behind them, and then they asked me what i thought about the program and about what art classes that i've taken and about college.
Ohhh i'm soo happy. It went extremely well and then afterwards they told me that they really enjoyed talking to me and that they really liked my art!!

I don't know if i'm actually in yet since they don't make the final choice, but i have a much better chance now that they like me. And i know my essay stuff was really strong so i hope that gives me a big boost in the final decision.
But i did a really good job, so even if i don't get in i know that i "put my best foot forward."

eee, but now i'm so excited and happy. And relieved, because all the crazy art stuff is now over with and i can relax for a bit until anime movie night and anime boston con come up. and my SAT's and junior prom....

But I talked to my teacher and it turned out that i shouldn't have been worrying so much because she said there wasn't even any debate on if i should go into AP or not.

All state thing is tomorrow.... and after pretty much having a nervous breakdown yesterday when i couldn't produce anything artistic, i've finally calmed down. My teacher said that i should use a piece that i've already done and helped me pick it out. It's not a great work... but it's decent. Much better than me not bringing in anything at all, or something i threw together at the last minute.
And now that i got into AP i'm a bit more confident about it.
My teacher said that it was really unlikely that two kids from one school would get in, but since we haven't had two from our school go in a while we might have a chance.

right now i'm writting a huge pain-in-the-ass essay for my american history and english class, and instead of putting it off until the very last minute, not having my minor deadlines met and winging together some bullshit at the last minute, I'm actually working on it in stages and completing all tasks properly. Not that it's really a hard thing to do in the first place, but for me and my years of being a complete lazy biatch it is an acomplishment.
So i better get a good grade on it when i hand it in.

Other than that, i've just been doing all of my homework and just getting all the stuff that i need to do done. I've been working on art for my AP requirements, including crazy sketchbook stuff, I signed up to take my SAT's, am working on other art-related things that need to be done, and just doing seemingly simple things that require to be acomplished.

ohh, creating the building blocks for my future.

Still tons more stuff for me to do though. (animeboston ect.) but i'll hopefully take care of that when it comes up.


and my fabulous little gay boy is comming from florida to visit me in june. And.... dare i say it.... we shall have a gay ol' time.
