3. Do the FF7 picture I started sketching this week while rping with Hiro-chan~
It's going to be called "Midgar Party". That tells a lot. :3

The whole explanation to the title of that image won't be Reno or Sephiroth, but actually *what's in the background*. X3 I just don't remember what was Scarlet's haircut, tho... have to look it up, or I can't have her trying to jump the good Professor, can I? >.> Alcohol can makes people insane, really. >.<

Aaaaaah~ I'm so full of energy today. I'm litterally bouncing all over the place. Cause I went swimming, since my Phys. Ed. classes are irregular at best, and I really wish to do physical exercise anyway. My mother's training me; she's amazing. Followed the swimming classes as a teenager, actually worked in that as her summer jobs. ^^ It's so relaxing, gave me all the energy I needed to go through the day.... I'm so repeating that at least 3 times per week from now on.


Eh. I'm starting to ponder whether I should take on the themes100 challenge. After I'm done with a couple of things, of course. But it seems so time consumming. >.< Well, I know that my Nee-sama =nymphvt said if I'm to do it, she'd go for LeaderxItachi. Hehehe. Might just do that. X3 It's been some time since I last poked at Itachi, anyway.


I got my first paycheck today! In... ah, over five months. Yeah, it was time for me to restart working part-time. ^-^; Even though it's not that much, compared to what I did last summer, it's still cool. And... Yuki's back in two daaaaaaays!!! Saturday, 7 pm, will be the best day of February for me! I miss my adopted sister. Now she'll be finally back from Japan for REAL! So wonderful!


Okay, so.... projects I should focus on:


1. My FFX-2 piccy.
2. ~popnoir's overdue Kiriban. (but I have an excuseeeee! Was away! Lost everything! Etc, etc!)
3. ~KuroTsuki's Kript (her OCC) picture in my artstyle.
4. Yuki's Welcome Back piccy (harryxdraco all teh way!)
5. ~Psychren's Welcome to DevArt piccy (twincest! Fred/George is yummy yumminess!)
6. And, some original artwork I'm working on.


Add to that learning to use Flash, random silly comics, and sporadic work on mah doujins. Yup. That's it basically, me think. My numbers of projects decreased a lot since having my hard-drive wipped clean, but it's making me do a fresh start, too. Whether that's a good thing or not.

OMG! Looks like all I have is good news! And many of them, too!

I'm soooo excited! My sista' Yuki, who left for Japan in March, is finally coming back to Canada in about... 10 days! I'm so waiting for her to get of that plane so that I can glomp her and latch unto her and never let go... Last friday, I sent her two letters. I'm happy, cause I can't write letters at all. Haven't much experience there. ¬_¬;; Also, I sent one to ~Sodomy on Monday. Did say I would, eh, Takezo? But still, I'm somewhat embarassed by the fact that you actually bought me a gift. I mean... you really didn't have to.


And~ I met a new DA friend on msn two days ago too, ~ling1134. I connected to msn late at night, and apparently there was someone that had added me to his contacts. And great thing is~ he lives in Montreal. Same city as me! ^^ And he's a very cool person, having his own manga in the making. Awesome!


Other great news~ I reinstalled photoshop, illustrator, paint shop pro, and my tablet back on the pc! Now, I just need to get back the brushes I had ~ although, that doesn't stop me from doing linearts and all, cause I do have the basic ones that comes with Photoshop anyway. Sooooo~ seriously, I started sketching again, scanned and all, and I'm planning to spend part of my week-end on that.


Also~ I know now how my arts class will go. Currently, all I have is theory. But starting next semester, I'm doing photography, infography (photoshop, etc.), and visual arts. Cool, ne? I'm amused by the photography part~ it's real fun to do as well. I think I'll borrow one of the numeric camera they have here and spend my week-end doing photos too. :3 And perhaps, mess around with Photoshop afterwards.


And finally.... I got all of my grades for the last semester!!! Yay! And apparently, I am first of the class in:

- Philosophy - 96,61%, average being 64,38 %
- French - 82,73 %, average being 63,22%
- the complementary class I took - 98,22%, average is 68,18%
- Physical Education (phys. ed.) - 85%, average being 64%

I don't know whether I'm first or not in Physics or Maths tho. I'm just assured to be in the nineties, that the average is in the seventies, but that doesn't mean much. And anyway~ I'm in arts now! Who cares about physics and whatnot? X3 I still can't get over the fact that I'm first in Phys. Ed. tho. ¬_¬;;


Basically...... I'm happy! So. Very. Happy!! Weee~ I have so many reasons to be happy, too!


Well~ gotta get back to my wonderful, amazing homework for my Main-Art-Styles-of-the-19th-Century-to-these-Days class. Class is in about... an hour so, yeah, it might be a good idea to return to doing that, hehehe. ^.^;

Yaaaaaay! School started again! Er, two days ago. I'm so glad~ I missed it. And it looks like my schedule will be interesting too...

I found a part-time job that doesn't take too much of my time! *does a happy dance* that's great... it means I'll still have lots of time for myself. X3

Another good news~ my hiatus is now officially over! *grins* Seriously. I spent the last two days catching up on people's art and all, what they did during that time I was away... I was glad to do that. You're all great artists! ^.^

Art-wise... I won't start drawing just ~yet~ cause I have to install stuff and all all over again but... it's coming. As in, pretty soon, really. Which is good; I miss drawing as well. ^^ Well, I did sketch stuff; for example, the Kiriban I owe to ~popnoir, or sketches of the Seph & Reno doujin that is in the making.

I found out many are doing the 100 themes things... Now I'm starting to be tempted as well... >.< Which I shouldn't, cause as I lost everything that I was working on, I'm restarting from scratches, and that'll take time on it's own. And doing 100 pictures... ah, would certainly take long. ^.^; Anyway, I'll think it over... Might be interesting to do. Though, I wouldn't know which character/pairing to choose, come to think of it. >_> But! It'd be excellent to practice my oekaki skills, I bet! X3

Other things that happened... ah, let's see. I just found out today that my subscription is expired. o.o Oh, the calamity, I can no longer put images in my journal! ;o; I'll do something about that, I suppose... Real soon. Aaaaand, I just got over the 2000~ some time ago, don't know when exactly. ^-^; Yay! Ish fun! Means the other Kiriban is getting closer. Hopefully, not just yet? I have to do the other one first... actually, I have to be able to draw again first. >.< Will work on that during week-end, I believe.

Ya know, I had one of the best Christmas Holiday. I left Montreal and was constantly on the move, spending a few days (25th/26th) in the family of my father's girlfriend, then going from a friend's house to another, managing to see a few others in-between, then going to Quebec city for the New Year to see my father's family, then coming back to Mtl on the 1st of January, around 11 pm, but not before doing yet another stop at someone else's place for supper. It was great. As in, real great. I had no time to be bored, I was constantly on the run!

But.

On the 4th of January, something happened. Which suddenly made my Holiday a lot less bright and peachy.

See, I just happened to open my computer for the first time in weeks. And first thing I discovered is that, while I was away, my brother went and decided to reboot the pc entirely because it was supposedly working awfully.

Thing is... I had no back-up for the files I had on my hard-drive. Which means, everything, as in, everything I had done, or had been working on, was completely erased. And it's impossible to get it back, since we did try that already, with someone who's a computer tech.

Yeah. Just peachy. Just a few months of work gone to waste, like that. Not only pictures I was working on, because then, I would have taken it a little better... I mean, sure I love drawing, but while the initial shock of loosing a work is kinda hard, it always wears off pretty quick (even though in this particular case, it is still over 30 pictures that were lost... ). I lost EVERYTHING. School works, programs, texts, there is ~nothing~ I have left. ;o; I don't know how I feel exactly... I go from uber depressed to... plain murderous.

Oh, do I love my brother. Especially since he isn't sorry at all. Damn him. So heartless. >.<

So yeah. I'm not too happy right now. Which I don't like, because an unhappy Mika is... just not Mika. >.<

Pffft... I guess considering getting my own laptop is now a must.

And getting back all the programs and plug-ins I had will be a pain. T_T

But... let's try to see this positively. ......................*long pause* Nope, I don't see anything positive in that. Except that... no, I really can see nothing positive.


Errr... okay, enough ranting and bitching and generally exposing my personal frustration. I do have some good news~ I'm back on Internet as of now. Which means, everyone, I'll take the time to look at your last deviations and comment them, catch up with everything and !dadadan! I'm back on Msn too!

Other good news is, by chance, I did manage to save the script of the FF7 Reno and Seph doujin. Not the actual doujin, which I had started. But the script and storyboard is a start, though. ^^

I think that's it for now. Heeeeee... I ranted so long... still feel like doing it too... O.o Errr, okay, I'll stop thinking about my beloved brother now. NOW.

I love you all and am so very glad I could that many people through DeviantArt. While ol' DA may not have the best design (mwahah, I so am not the first saying that >.> ) and I do realise that that is a huge understatement, hehehe, it's still a wonderful place, cause you get to know so many people!

Mucha lurvin' to all of you~ You have a great Holiday and take that time to relax before we all head into the next semester! From what I've heard, I'm far from being the only one who had a rough two-weeks of finals. ^.^; So take it easy~ hope to see you all in January!

I wannaaaa sleeeeep~ School is eating all of my time. Whole semester was a laugh, and now that we're in finals, with all the strikes the staff did... geez, I'm *constantly* doing homework or studying. T_T

Good news is~ well, normally, we'll still finish the regular date instead of having the semester extended; unless we loose on other day. I now have classes on the two next saturdays too, to try to manage to squeeze in all the classes we have left, so that we finish on the 23rd even so. That's still annoying, but not nearly as bad as the other possibility was. ^-^; Seriously, the teachers are killing us. For exemple, normally, we would have 7 philosophy class left, but according to schedule, we have only 3 periods before the final exam. And that's not an isolated case so.. yeah. >.>

In other words... I miss my pc! I miss drawing, I miss having lots of time on my hands and being allowed to be the lazy person I am! ;_; Sooooo~ hm, if I don't reply to comments as often as I usually do, or if I don't comment your devs or anything of the like, it doesn't mean that I'm uninterested or ignoring you. ^-^; It's just that I'm not that much on the pc recently. *is really happy that she had a few hours today... tonight....no, actually, this morning o.o*

Yuck. It's almost 1 am already. I hate coffee, except moccacinos, but it really is useful sometimes. >.<

So.... both Reno and Cloud won. Which means no clear winner. Oh well... Guess I'll do both, then. :3 Only problem is, I don't only draw~ I write quite a lot as well. So... what should be two pages or so, in both cases, is now a fully developped intrigue in my mind, that I really can't fit in a few pages. ^-^;

Mmmm... I suppose I'll find a way to manage this even so.

I'm so happy! So freaking happy! Tetsuya Nomura, I just want to glomp you and never leg go, because you made me the happiest Sephiroth-sama fangirl ever yesterday evening!!!!

Yesterday, I saw one of those new trailers for KH2 and guess what! Sephiroth and Cloud are going to be in the sequel of Kingdom Hearts as well!!!! *squeal* It was a uber short scene, of them fighting in their AC clothes, but it was *them*!! And you have Yuffie, AC-style too, plus so many other FF characters! (Rikku, Yuna, Paine, Auron, Squall... oh sorry, I meant, Leon :3) And there are so many worlds this time around. @_@ We still have Nightmare Before Christmas *uber squeal - Jaaaaack! I lurve youuuu!*, Beauty & the Beast, Little Mermaid (etc.) but amongst the new ones are Mulan, Pirates of the Carribeans (and Jack Sparrow is so cooool in the tiny part I saw), Lion King, Lilo & Stitch, Hades' Underwold, and many more! It's just *amazing*

I'm spoiled. Really. First there was AC, which was just a dream come true for me, then Last Order that cames with it, then the upcoming Dirge of Cerberus, and now KH2? It's too much. *is in heaven* And there is the mysterious Crisis Core coming, too. And there was Before Crisis, as well. It's just WONDERFUL!!

Okay, so Squeenix is definitely milking out FFVii for all it's worth. But I'm definitely fine with that, too~ The more they do, the happier I am soooo... yeah, no problem there. I'll never get tired of that game, anyway. Or of Sephiroth.

I'm definitely saving my money for next year, that's for sure. Three upcoming games staring the FF7 characters ~ what more could a fangirl ask? ...Maybe a remake of the game with today's technology? Yep, that'd sound good. But I can wait~ I'm already spoiled enough as it is!

Err, amongst other news... Ish very busy because finals are starting. And incredibly annoyed at the fact that the session might end a few weeks later than it should, because of all the problems we had this year with the staff deciding to not work on some days for financial reasons, thus pressuring the government and whatnot. What's really bad about that is that session might ends in January~ which means no Christmas Holiday. Bleh... that would be really annoying...

Oh, well. At least I have Tetsuya Nomura and his uber huge FF7 project to cheer me up!

I Can COOOOOOK!!!

I mean, really.... I can! I really can! OMG, this is the beginning of a new life!!!

I was hungry when I got home from school, and I recalled my father's girlfriend explaining to me how easy it was to make a broch over summer. So I decided, why not give it a try? The worst outcome would be throwing it into the toilet or something.. >_> Sooooo~ I just chopped down many vegetables, managed to only hurt one finger with the knife (omg!), and let it simmer for 45 minutes (or something like that... I was playing piano back then :3). Added random spices I fished out from where my mother stock them and some apples to make it special... And then threw the whole thing in the mixer, so it becomes a real broch. And it tastes soooooo good!! (is currently eating it) Sooooo very good!

Excuse the overeactive Mika­. But really... you'd be overacting too if you couldn't manage to do eggs, or stupid spaguettis properly, too. :3


And also... playing Uematsu's One-Winged-Angel is an excellent stress relief. Have you ever played piano when you're pissed, annoyed, or stressed? Cause then, it gets really aggressive, in my case. I think I went way past fortissimo in many parts this time, when most of them were actually supposed to be forte... but, anyway. ^^ I love piano. What is great about being really good in it is that you don't just interpret a piece then; you make it yours, playing with nuances the way you feel like, changing the tempo to your conveniences, improvising when you feel like it.

I love piano. I really do. :3 But being pissed when doing One-Winged-Angel, which is already aggressive at the base... eheheh, that was fun. And ultra fast in places, too. ^^

How do you fight against a smile?

Seriously?

I'm single. I intend to stay that way, as I said to those who were interested in me this year. But thing is, there's this guy, in my french class... And well, like any others, he is nice. I mean, good-looking, friendly, intelligent, kind... etc. Which is fine.

What makes him different from the other guys who got interested in me, is that damn smile he keeps flashing at me recently. You know? The knowing/lazy/slightly upturned/slightly mysterious smile that just makes your heart goes a little quicker for a second because it just *pulls* at you and makes you want to melt? Yeah, that smile. It's only attraction, but still... *is trying to get a grip* I won't be undone by a smile! >_< He's very nice, though... last week, it was snowing a lot, and when the class was over I complained that I really didn't feel like taking the bus, and that my mother was working so she couldn't come and get me. He proposed to call a cab for me then, and pay, of course.

To which I said no. I'm a very independant woman, see? I dislike having guys doing things for me that I could have done myself, and usually insist to be the one paying, instead. :3 So yeah, I said no. He insisted. Still said no, it really isn't necessary, but thanks anyway. And he insisted again. A good six times. And by then, the cab had arrived anyway, since he had called it on his cellphone before, so... saying no then would have been a little extreme.

....I dislike this situation. ^-^;; While I'm friendly to many guys, it stops there. I'm not interested into going into a relationship. But I can't deny the fact that he manages to make me attracted. *damn evil smile... >_>* This is troublesome. *sigh*

ZOMG!! It's just sooooo~ wonderful! I just got out of my french class and my grade is AWESOME! Really! The teacher simply *loved* my text! Once again, I'm the best of the class, but as well, I'm a good 15 pts over the average, at least.

I mean, he *really* loved it. He wrote the following on my essay, actually:

Que dire? Bravo, excellent, super, pas mal du tout, très agréable à lire, documenté... enfin bref tout le champ lexical se rapportant aux félicitations et au plaisir de lire et de corriger un tel travail! Merci pour l'excellent structure de la dissertation! * (<<-- he even drew a little smiley... ^-^;; )

See what I mean when I said he's always complimenting my work? It's a little embarassing... I was kinda red in the cheeks when I read his commentary. I mean... he never went quite so much into praising my texts.

I'm so happy! So very happy! I'm *assured* I'm still top of the class, with an essay like this one. Now I only have the one we have to do for the finals, and that class is completed. And my R cote will be very good, cause I'm always quite over the average - without putting too much efforts in it, at that. o_o It's just... wonderful. *is going on and on about how happy she is, grinning... which is scary, cause she's alone in the library >_>*

Now, if only my philosophy essay can be that good... oh well, I'll know on wednesday, probably, unless our teacher surprises us and correct it earlier. ^^

It's official - I'll now have fun making many comics and try my best to make them doujin-style. I practiced a little tonight, and it's just ~so~ fun to do.

Yay! I'm done with my first kiriban! *does a happy dance* That was long to do... ^-^;;

Ah, anyway. Now I can focus on other things. And ~popnoir's Kiriban, of course.

I got myself tons of screentone brushes, to try doing serious-like doujins. That's going to be the next thing I try, I believe. Well, among other things... I do have many FFVII-related ideas right now, and a few Naruto as well.

I really feel like drawing Aeris... some Zack/Seph friendly (or is it?) pics... the world's oddest couple, Reno/Seph (versatile, at that! X3), which I found in a fanfic recently... Things like that. :3

Some Death Note fanarts, too. And well, more Sir Leader x Itachi, of course, but also a Kakashi x Itachi for Maya, and some doujins too. Some Uchiha siblings (not yaoi... at least, I don't think so) pictures as well, since they're already inked and all. ^^

Mmm... I have too many ideas... >_>

Oh! ~Furabi-chan just sent me so many japanese songs! Thank you, nee-chan! ^^ You're awesome! I keep listening to them, now. And thinking about how fun next summer will be once you'll come to Mtl.

You know, I actually finished ~faerie-chan's Kiriban yesterday night. Cause I wasn't happy with what I had completed during week-end, and changed it since monday or so. And then this morning, I stared at it and decided to rework the lineart again, except for two characters. Thing is, I'm never satisfied. Never, ever. It really annoys me so... >_>

And that's not only in drawing. I'm never happy with what I write cause you can always make it better, I'm never happy with my exams, cause they could have been perfect when they're not, and etc. The only thing that doesn't bother me is cooking and cleaning. Cause I suck in both, and I'm fine that way. ~ X3

Bleh... Seriously, as much as I love good commenting, I'm always saying that I want harsh criticism, like Hiro told me yesterday. When she said that, I was like "no~no~no, I'm not like that~ ^^' " but really... it's true. T_T

There! I admitted to it! So... you were right, Hiro... >_>

Mmm... but being hard on yourself gets you to improve anyway, no? So it's not a bad thing, per say. At least I don't think so. ^-^;; Except when it comes to cooking. That... really is something I am destined to suck in all my life, no matter how hard I try to get better. T_T

Mood: embarrased a little

I feel like crap today. Late night yesterday, when I went on the computer, I had a conversation with a friend of mine on Msn, and well, it went a little out of hand. To the point I actually cried on my bedroom. And I feel really embarassed about that. I mean, it's not as if I was face to face with the person in question. It was just through Internet, and also, I don't cry that easily. I'm a very rational person, and I don't let my emotions run wild in my general life... but yesterday, I just let go and started crying, just like that.

It is embarassing, really. And turns out, the person in question wasn't really angry or anything; it was just that she needed to let out some things, and well, I was the one present at the time. But for a moment, I did feel our relationship was threatened. That was harsh... The way she talked, it was as though I was just using her, uncaring about her. Have that ever happened to anyone? To invest yourself in a relationship that you enjoy, and then one day get shoved in the face that the other person thinks of you in such a way? It hurts. It really does.

So I cried. I scolded myself for it afterwards, too, but back then, I couldn't really care.

I think though, that the conversation we had afterwards might have strengthened our relationship. Which is good; I really thought I was seeing it collapsing before my eyes, at first. Misunderstandings can destroy anything; that's why conversation is so very important.

I'm glad about the outcome. I mean, it was painful at first, but it made things be let out in the open, and I think that's a very good thing, instead of keeping it all inside.

That was a little abstract, ne? Sorry about that babbling... for once, I'm in a depressive mood. Which doesn't happen often, I concede, but you can't be enthusiast all the time.

I'll try to end this on a happier note anyway. ^^' Depression... I'd rather not stay in such a mood. Have to see things in a good light, no matter what. ^o^

Hmm... what else is new? Oh yeah, I have no essay for a week at least!!! After all those last days that were spent on reports, I can finally really focuse into drawing again, kukuku~! (what? I had to put the kukuku~ somewhere, or it wouldn't be like me >_> ) That's a relief! ^^ My last report was due yesterday. Finished it 10 minutes prior to the time limit, too, but I think it's awesome. >_>

Better be. My mother just basically shredded it to pieces and helped me to restart it anew. Okay, not so bad, but... she did help. A lot, no matter what she says. ^^'

Have your mother ever written an email to wine companies to tell them that they use wrongly the ";" thingy on their labels? o_o She's crazy. Completely awesome and crazy. *is worshipping her mother*

Also... Ohohoh~ I had a waitress flirting with me today. ^^' A waiter, meh, that happened a few times already, but a waitress... now that's a first. It's really strange... Since a year or so, about 20% of the people flirting with me are women. Compared to 0%, as it used to be... that's very confusing. >_<

This is getting quite random. ^^' And long too. Sometimes, I wonder if I should be a writer... >_> Better stop here, before I bore you out of your mind. ^^'

Oh~ Also, next Kiriban is for 2,500 hits! Never said it officially, but now it's done! And congratulations to ~popnoir, who got the last one!

...I'm not choosing that number cause I'm lazy. Not at all. >_<. It's because putting it that far away will give me some time to do my own projects, too. ^^' Seriously.

New Naruto Chapter! Yay!

Okay, now that I've seen it... Am I the only one wondering if maybe, just maybe, Itachi did a very poor job of killing his whole clan save Sasuke? First we have Sai; so Uchiha-looking that it *hurts* (but he's still very pretty, like every Uchiha) then we have new-unknown-Anbu-with-Yamato-fake-name. Okay. That's good.

Kishimoto.... I really hope you're not going down the Uchiha-Mary-Sue-Sam-etc. path... ^^' *is begging to the purple nail-polish that Yamoto is actually Shisui. Resurected!Uchiha is better than far-distanced-cousin-with-a-weird-love-story-and-a-miserable-past!one.*

And no Akatsuki. Chapter was very, very interesting, even though I'm getting a little confused - Itachi did kill his clan, at least, that's what I used to know, and yet the Uchihas look-alike are multiplying ^^' - and the new characters seem great. Sai... you are one jerky, smexy little Anbu ninja. And Yamato... don't know you yet, but you seem really cool. X3

Old man is scary, though. (can't recall the name) ¬_¬ And Ino looks just so~ cute now that she grew up! ^^

But still, no Akatsuki. I need them. I need Itachi. Where's mah Itachi~??? *crawls around*

Well, today I realised I made a lot of friends on DA in a month or two, and it's something I find really nice. For exemple, I met Noora and Nympht, and both are really awesome persons, really fun to talk with. I met Faerie-chan too, whom is really quite funny. And Sodomy, too, who is as fun and crazy as her DAname is.^^ And there are all those that are commenting my art regularly, giving me advices and ideas, as well.

Nympht's great at that. I kinda use her as my beta when it comes to pictures, kukuku~. X3 Love ya, Nee-san. ^^

So, I thought it'd be great if I could keep contact with everyone. Where are you people living? Is there anyone in Canada? I know Sushi-girl is, but that's about it. ^^ Do you have an Msn address too, and would you like to be added to mine? Things like that. :3

I really wish to thank all of you guys for being there; it's awesome! I wish I could all meet you in person, but well... now that's asking a little much. ^^'

Basically, that's a thank you post, and also me saying that I love you all. All the support and nice commentary I get, it really drives me to work harder and go forward; it actually influenced me so much that I'm finally going into Arts next semester (cue huge sigh of relief from my mother). Well, I've been thinking about it for some time, but it did influence my final decision, because it increased my confidence in myself on that point.
