So my social psychology class is making us save the world this semester, but I'm not too excited about it so I've pretty much put off doing anything towards the assignment.

Unfortunately, we have to do a group presentation next week and so I kinda have to start. So I need a bunch of people to answer some questions on recycling and whatever.

Which is where you lovely people come in.

Had a bad case of procrastination yesterday.

My last assignment of the semester is due in an hour. It's okay. I handed it in earlier. But I was up till four in the morning writing it.

Oedipus the King. Evil. It took so much willpower to sit down and write an essay on it.

Even dragged Riggs and Chloe into my procrastination.

Initiated a chat about when we're going to go and see the Da Vinci Code this week. Ended up talking until one am in the lounge.

And RA from a different floor even came and shut our door because we were apparently talking too loud

Did she not hear the minute long burping coming from the flat across the hallway? We are never loud. Pft.

Finally Chloe and Riggs forced me to go and do my essay. Urgh.

First year psychology students have to complete 4hrs of compulsory IPRP experiments in order to pass the course. I still had .5 of an hour to go.

My last IPRP was supposed to be at 9.45am.

I woke up at 10.

If you miss an appointments they add another .5 onto your requirements. Which meant I now needed an hour credit.

If you miss TWO appointments they add FIVE HOURS onto your thingy. Effectively making 9 hours of experiment participation.

Luckily this was my first penalty.

Had to have an Art History tutorial at Te Papa National Museum at 12. So ran down there. Had an hour to wait. Decided to take photos.

Why am I such a seagull whore now? I see a bird and I take photos of it.

Weird.

Took some nice shots though. I think anyway. The harbour was all misty and morning like. Took some photos of strangers too.

I love street photography.

After my tutorial I made sure I wasn't going to be late for my substitute appointment. With Dr Marc.

So I took a taxi.

His name wasn't Maxi.

It was Bob161 or something.

Nice old man. We chatted about lots of things. About taxi drivers being better than psychiatrists or psychologists. Cheaper too. About why its great to be a taxi driver...

He thought it was interesting that my parents are divorced but still live together.

A lot of people do.

Told him I was born in the Waiarapa. And that I came from Auckland back down.

He said that was a good idea.

Wellington is great.

Handed in my Classics essay.

Will probably fail. Meh.

Dr Marc came and chatted with me before the experiment. He's the man.

His survey was on individualism and collectivism. Cultural aspects. Honesty over niceties.

Heh.

Nice ties.

Saw some nice ties today.

Walked home. Made a detour.

Ended up at the CD/DVD store.

Bought Eurotrip uncut and My Own Private Idaho.

Getting RHCP Stadium Arcadium limited edition box set tomorrow. Will set me back $70 but whatever. It has marbles.

In case you're wondering why my journals are long and rambling... It's because I've always had a thing for writing. Or maybe its a thing for talking.

Whether it be novels, short stories, essays or columns... I get really into them. I write whatever comes to mind. Train of thought writing.

I think of journal entries as I walk home.

What else am I going to do for 20 minutes?

Sure I'm not as weird as some people though.

I've got a strange thing about personal space.

This creepy little Asian guy who I think may have some kind of abnormality or something because he's always doing these really schizophrenic movements. I see him sometimes.

Unexpectedly went to the Hurricanes Semi Final against the Waratahs last night...
Riggs bought Alex a ticket for his birthday, he texts her as soon as she gets out of the post office saying "guess what? i just got a ticket to the game" so she was all annoyed and forced him to have HER ticket. He couldn't find anyone to buy it and so they convinced me to go, like an hour before kick off.
Worsts seats imaginable though lol well not the worst seats. But I was surrounded by all the families and kids. The cheap seats basically.

I can't stand booing.

Have some sportsmanship!!!!

Fecking Wellingtonians. They booed EVERYtime the waratahs had the ball, and even when the reserves were warming up in front of our section. I hate that. So I clapped for them every time they scored
What I do like is when one person stands up to the mass. hahaha.

Fairies too. There was a whole row of fairies in front of me. Teenage boys dressed as fairies complete with pink fairy wings, golden tiaras, and yellow rubbish sacks tied around their necks. Everytime the music played... They danced. Oh how they danced...
I noticed that in stadiums when people are 'dancing' they put their arms in the air and make fists; but with the pointer finger up in the air. WtF? Is that "dancing"?
Also... When someone screws up a pretty "easy" try... The ENTIRE crowd groans and pushes back into the seat; clutching their faces and looking away. It is AMAZING to watch an entire packed full to the brim stadium move simultaneously.
I love mexican waves too. The best one last night got around three quarters of the stadium. It started beside us so, we weren't the let downs.

Sports games are a great place for people watching.
I am definitely a people watcher.

Anyways, afterwards... Riggs, Amy, Alex and I went to the Occidental to find Melissa and Vicki. But they hadn't arrived yet so we went to the Loaded Hog, presumably to find them there... Or thats what I thought anyway.
That was lol. Every person there was one of those typical drunk, middle class, businessman, psyched because of the game... kind of people. ESPECIALLY this one guy who was just HAMMERED. And he was swaying around kind of like people who think they are aeroplanes... ANd he's holding his drink and sloshing it around, singing the songs >>> Omg! they played the BEST songs there <<< but anyway he had just smashed a wine glass without knowing it, kept walking into the kitchen area only to walk back out before anyone saw him; and then he CAUGHT us. we were watching him in hysteric fits of laughter. SO he picks up a drink and walks over with the glass out to us. It was just me and Amy so we were like wtf... and turned away dying of laughter. Finally he got the picture and went away.
Alex knew the manager so all night we had free drinks which was great because I only had four dollars to my name at the time... So there we were drinking up and singing to the awesome music; being harassed by the drunk guy who kept putting his arms around our shoulders and swaying us to the music with him... Then some other random guy came up, put his arms around mine and Amy's shoulders and proceeded to grind with my hip. Hahaa ew... I was like WTf?! turned around and saw that it was Michael, one of the irish guys we met on amy's 21st.
