Alright, I've come to the realization that I need to come up with $600 over the next month or so. Because of this, I'm accepting pay commissions. As much as I don't want to wallow in my own self pity here, my family has no money, my mother has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and we're uninsured. I did have a steady income, but due to some corporate-issued schedule changes, I've been cut to eight hours a week, giving me between $40 and $80 paychecks, and I just can't survive on that.

i've also changed my mind about the camera i'm getting. instead of the nikon p80, i'm gonna go with the canon sx10is. i'm so excited about this camera. it's everything i want and i can kind of afford it almost. i know most of what i've posted so far has been lame. i'm suprised i have any watchers besides real life friends. i have a lot of plans that i'm still planning. there are some ideas floatin' around in my brain. it'll take me a while to organize them into coherant thoughts but they're THERE! so expect to see some watch-worthy stuff within the next.. month and a half, maybe. haha. yeah. bye!

but at the same time there hasn't been much out there TO photograph. winter kills everything. trees, flowers, color. animals are in hiding. i love winter but it shouldn't get this cold without some snow. however, with the globe getting consistently warmer, i don't expect much this year. or ever. sad. START RECYCLING, PEOPLE!

so one of the dentist's assistants at the practice i go to has a friend that owns or manages or something the portrait studio at sears and she's gonna try to get me a job. yay! i don't like kids but oh well. it pays and i get to play with cameras all day.

tomorrow's thanksgiving! i'm crazy excited because i love to eat. it's my favorite holiday. i dunno how i maintain a healthy weight considering all the crap i eat but whatever, i'm grateful for that little glitch. bad news though. my aunt is cooking.. she experiments wayyy too much and instead of testing her concoctions on her husband/son first, the entire extended family magically morhps into lab rats. fun fun. i was really looking forward to making the pies though because that's what i always do. baking = wonderfulness. but i found out the other day that she already BOUGHT pies! STORE-BOUGHT PIES?! what is wrong with this woman?! GAH! now i feel so useless, i always make the pies and now.. pfff. i'll just make a pie all for myself.

moving on. my mom and i went to best buy earlier today. they didn't have the movie i wanted but that's ok. so i went over to play with the cameras. i've been doing a bit of research online and tonight i made up my mind. i took pictures of everything. customers, employees, signs, boxes. so anyway, i decided on the nikon coolpix p80. it's really light and pretty (not the most important features but a plus nevertheless), has 10.1 megapixels and an 18x zoom. 18x?! yeah man! i'm hoping that i stumble across, say, 400ish dollars. it happens! i figure that with the money i have now plus what i'll recieve from relatives for christmas plus the money i'll get back from crap that i return.. hmm.. i'll have alomst as much as i'll need.

1. last night i went to throw something away and instead of going into the pantry where the garbage can is located, i headed for the back porch.

2. i laugh hysterically for no apparent reason.

3. i was watching tv today and the announcer said "the movie is about to come on, are you ready?" and i said "uh huh" out loud.

4. i got myself a glass of ice water and proceeded to put it in the microwave.

5. just a few hours ago i used some chloraseptic spray but i forgot to open my mouth. my face went numb.

6. i've been eating like a beast. today alone i ate poptarts, a popsicle, a double cheeseburger from mcdonald's, three servings of leftover steak, 1/3 of a tub of butter pecan ice cream, and some cheese. which may or may not have been expired.

7. i thought we were all out of liquid laundry detergent and i don't know how to use the powdery kind and i started to cry because i really wanted to wash my hoodies. then i found the liquid kind and everything was all better.
