I'm one step further a creative education, cause I passed the entrance examination test. Need to get ready for an interview at Westerdals now. Yay!

Spring

Spring is here. I've eaten ice cream, gone out barefooted, worn nothing but a t-shirt and shorts, washed my car, used sunblock, enjoyed beer in the sun at Aker Brygge in Oslo, eaten strawberry and listened to music that reminds me of the best times.

Easter is soon at our door step, week after that I'm going to Cyprus (greek island, ohyea) for an one-week vacation. That's gonna be awesome, I know. Renting a car n' all.

Oh, and I need to recommend "The Fountain" by Darren Aronofsky, the director of "Pi" and "Requiem for a dream". It's an amazing movie that really takes your breath away for a moment. Also, "300" by Zack Snyder was a turn on (literally) for me. Amazing pictures and battle scenes.

I'm done with the entrance examination thing I've been working on for the past month or so. Thought I could add the result here and get some feedback on it, at least from my Norwegian "friends". If you have any suggestions to whatever category it fits into, please tell me - or else I'll just leave them in the scrap book.

There was two additional tasks, one vector and one drawing-thing, but there's really no point submitting it

I've been thinking about a commercial movie for some weeks. Just to get some practice. Kristoffer, a great friend of mine and I did an animated movie four years ago which had the title "Sliding, a more relaxing alternative". I've wanted to do some more animation on the same idea, and I came up with this tram commercial (trikkereklame). It's about thousand still pictures shoot with my EOS 400D, a wide angle lens and a great actor/model - Kristoffer.

Created a story board for it, been brainstorming a lot and the whole idea is to give the viewer a feeling that everything goes smooth for this guy, like everything is going on the right track.

Would love to get some feedback and comments. Both on concept/idea and the movie itself.

Entrance Examination

I am working on an entrance examination at the moment, for a school in Oslo. It's a design/commercial school focusing a lot on idea and communication, as well as photo/drawing skills.

I know I'm a creative guy, I do manage to take ok photos if there's anything decent to photograph and .. I can learn to draw. (Mette. Get busy, will ya.) It's going fine. I'm done with three of six assignments so far and the result looks promising. I'll post everything on dA in the middle of march, after the due is done.

Other than that, my first professional job went good. The customer was pleased, even though the weather sucked and the outcome in my eyes was nothing else than alright. I might do more for them later, which was the goal for me. So yey.

This day and night has been awesome. First, I went to sweden with two mates of mine. Then we went home to his place and made delicious home made pizza and a -cake-, actually. With whipped cream, chocolate, strawberry and stuff xD

Now, we're playing WarioWare - Smooth Moves on Wii and I'm having a blast. There's thousands of incredible mini games and I can't wait to see "Mario Party" on Wii.

First of all; Hi there. Long time no see and a merry christmas to all of you who still got me "friended" (if you can say that) and so on. The thing that I've always wanted the most, without "telling" anyone or put on any wish list because of the price tag was a camera. Not just a regular camera, but a SLR one.

Tonight, under that very christmas tree at my grandparents place, a Canon EOS 400D lied. It's the best thing that could happen to me right now, really. I can't wait to pick up this hobby again and get creative. I got so many ideas in my head right now, and I think this winter will be a blast.

No more excuses for not submitting anything any more.

Get ready for take off.

Hello there :]

Long time, no see? Yeh. Lack of inspiration, time and stuff. Haven't had the motivation to take any pictures lately, I kinda feel crap

Anyway, me and marilla is together now, which is "wohooo!" <3 I hope I can do some pictures with her some time. I only got four days left at work, and I am SO looking forward to some vacation, and eventually a new job. Will be good to do something else than stare at this flat screen eight hours each day.

Anyway, about the subject of this post. I got this homepage, right. (matsi.ineptia.net), and I have this "52 tasks in 52 weeks"-project. One of the tasks is to take a picture with fifteen matsi's on. Anyone have any idea about a location for this?

I feel so sad. I feel empty.
There's no colours outside, what-so-ever. It's all dark and cold and grey. I feel terrible...

And the stuff happening down in Asia doesn't exactly make stuff easier. A friend of mine is in Thailand, no idea where, but she's there. Somewhere. Hopefully alive :\

My life is kinda fucked up... sort of. Waiting for something new, .. I always do, always been that way. Stupid of me isn't it? My time here on earth isn't going to last forever. I should start enjoying the moment, instead of searching after something better _all_ the time.

I'm so looking forward to wednesday. It will probably change my life totally. Give it a new perspective.
If everything works out, I can start value other stuff than work, money and computergames

Why is it that I'm _always_ aiming at the top, but _always_ hit the middle?
Why am I never satisfied with my own work and with myself?
Why can't I give my self some credit, tell myself that I did a good job?

There isn't one dev-entery I'm "wooh wooh"-happy with. They are all just some stupid pictures. Damn, compare my "favourites" with my gallery and I look like a terrible photagrapher with no talent whatsoever.

I hate beeing second, I hate to lose, but I end up beeing second anyway - in all cases.

I try to look at stuff with an optimistic- and happy-face and to feel selfsure. Inside me I'm the total oposite.

Argh, damn. This is so frustraiting :\
