Anyway........... 2 and a half days left of college till half term. This excites me greatly. I'm in a desperate need of a proper lie in and to catch up on all my work. Need to seriously revise some English for my re take, and begin to think about actually doing some French if I want to pass it.

I've just found the Curves tool in photoshop and I love it. I'm not actually properly editing the photos rather than just auto colour/contrast/levels because I'm a little lazy. But it's much better now I can control it more.

Anyway, I've been trying to get the hang on HDR photography. However, I'm not having much success - probably because I don't have an SLR. It might also be because I'm not really taking photos that need HDR? That could be why. Anyway...

I'm about to go on a spree of editing photos from Rome. I don't have many at Rome which is a shame because it's an amazing place. I wanted to go and see the Roman Forum and the Pantheon but didn't have enough time and it was too hot. The Colosseum was pretty good though.

Been ill this week, not good. Headache from about 12:00 Wednesday, until it stopped sometime yesterday. I think it would be classed as a migraine. Which is the worst type of headaches, and I tell you, until you have one, you have no right to tell me how bad they are... Only once you have one will you get that privilege.

Hmmm, not much else to say really. So I'll be off.

Ah - Anyone with any idea about DLSR's - Any suggestions for a beginner (such as myself) as to which one to get? I'm kind of looking at the Sony A200, that's has some quite good reviews, and the Nikon D40, but that doesn't have £30 cashback. Also - do I need live view? I think it would be good, but the difference in price (<£100) I'm thinking it's probably not worth it.

Now I really will be off.......

Mondays are pretty good actually... First lesson free... then Moving Image *is awesome... more about that later*, English and French, in which I didn't get tested on the 12 verbs I learnt... and then I went home which is where I am now.

So... Moving Image... we totally were talking about Montages and then got onto a montage about babies and foot, then with a car - followed by Chloe shouting out "DO IT DO IT DO IT" in reference to them running the baby over. We then moved onto Michael Jackson giving Gary Glitter a piggy back so that they could see a baby in bed... I actually LOL'ed... and it was almost a ROFL, only no one would ever roll on the floor, you'd get weird looks for years after. But anyway, Moving Image is awesome. Going to make a film about a teleporting character tomorrow... Which reminds me... CAMERA.

Before that, I have maths to do before my whole day of lessons tomorrow... a FULL DAY. Tuesdays are actually horrible. But it's double moving image, which is good.

Sooo... Moving Image today, consisted of smelling post-it notes and discovering that they *DON'T* smell of pineapple contrary to popular opinion.

So, 1 more day and I'll have made a whole week at college.

I'm doing English Lit & Lang, French, Maths, Moving Image and Physics - But I'm possibly dropping the latter. They're all good, 'cept Physics (hence the dropping).

Anyway... I get up at 6 to get ready, I leave my house at 7:10 and get to the bus stop at about 7:25. I'm always the first one there which is totally not cool. But not as un-cool as having to run for the bus only to see it drive past you with the driver laughing. It's a Sainsburys/Marks and Spencer free bus to the Hedge End place usually, but it takes us to college every day, so we are the height of cool.

I get there, have lessons, go home, be home at about 5. I have dinner, check stuff on the internet, like here... Then about now I start getting ready for bed and then go to be so I'm asleep before 10. If I don't get to sleep then I will never wake up.

So yeah, that's about it for today, one more day and I can have a nice long lie in. I will not be getting up for anything on Saturday. Although I might go student discount spending... yeah, that sounds fun

I'm at home on my own... god knows where my parents are, they were going to the Co-op about an hour and 20 mins ago... so I have no idea where they are now. Someone's got fireworks... and for about 5 minutes I though the house was falling down so yeah, I'm cool.

So, it was college on Tuesday, that was a-okay... The bus was something that I don't want to experience again in a hurry... I hope Barton eat their words "There should be enough room"... Ah well, I got to annoy Hannah for all of 30 seconds by reading out the opposite pages of the manga she was reading

I got The Wasp Factory today Kat... It doesn't actually sound that bad, so I might be able to actually read this, unlike Frankenstein which I only read the chapters we had to study...

So, I'm kinda a little lost without school. I thought I'd be loving it, but turns out, I'm rather bored.

I now know what it feels like to be unemployed, and that's something I really don't want to do for a living after college/uni/life.

Anyway, it's Thursday. Found out my college tutor stuff today, I have Joel Horner as a tutor. And typically, I'm not in [link] film class. Hannah, when you read this - which moving image class are you in?

Anyway, gonna go write a short film, or plan one at least. Or maybe write a letter to a film production company in Southampton to see if they'll let me be a runner there (that's basically a slave, but you get to learn about films).

So, English - describe a dream world - I thought *wha.. the..* and racked my brain for something to write about. I ended up writing about some world in the future... with robots and flying cars... I wrote about flying cars yes. I think I used an extended metaphor... which is good I think. And it had my favorite poem in it!!!! Didn't have to do Limbo, which I totally sucked big time at, which was uber-awesome.

So it's Saturday today, just about to do a bit of physics revision (did I mention that's my last exam?). I may as well... after Wednesday, I can spend the whole summer photographing, writing, filming (yes, I will make a film this summer.

So it was totally my last day of school on Thursday. I never ever have to go to school for lessons. Now, that's pretty darn cool is you ask me.

So I've got a week of revision this week, then a week of exams then like a week before my final exam, Physics.

Anyway, what's happened.... not a lot really.

Totally failed my English lit exam... well not totally, just ran out of time at the end which meant that I couldn't write about all the important literature stuff.

AND OMG NO MORE CRITICAL THINKING!!!! I can now officially forget: Ad Hominom, Tu Quoque, Post Hoc, Vested Interest and of cause RAVEN!!!!!!

Okay, so I'm currently watching Eurovision which is totally rubbish, big political standoff against the UK as well. Big waste of my life, but it's that or revision, and the latter is very tempting at the moment.

On the radio this morning I heard someone complain about their school not closing, well... (to this person) at least your school isn't closing and yet STILL making you come in!!!!

Ah well, it's not really *that* bad, we'll be the only ones in the school so we can run riot, and because all the teachers will be on strike, they won't be able to stop us. Not that I'm going to run riot... It will be nice to walk around the school without having people look at me saying *omg you're so uber tall ARGGGH*

Anyway, watching "I'm not really a celebrity but get me out of here anyway", there's this model person, who's INSANE, she refused to go into the eels, I lawled. Ah well.

Anyhoo... I might uploda some of my GCSE art this week, so be prepared to SQUEAL at it's un-superiouness (which firefox doesn't recognise - then again, it thinks FIREFOX is spelt wrong.)
