It was basically one of the most terrifying and difficult things I've ever done. And so completely worth it. Here's me: a born-and-bred hearing person with so little signing ability that it's almost beyond hilarious to throw her into a group of native signers and watch her fumble her way through a conversation. I think the words I used most were HARD, PROBLEM, DON'T UNDERSTAND, WHAT?, AND FRUSTRATED. Oh, and "I'm sorry, please repeat that slower." GAH! But, I didn't talk, so I didn't get to eat peppers (which was the punishment for talking).

And if you didn't know, ghost stories are scarier when they're signed. Meep. And CatchPhrase is harder to play when you don't know all the signs.

I really don't have much to say. Sorry for the false alarm. I just wanted to get rid of my old entry.

I'm gonna get around to drawing eventually. I was going to do it this weekend, but I have a sign language workshop to attend. I'll have to share my pathetic antics with y'all after, since ASL isn't my primary language, to say the least. I'm averaging about a word every thirty seconds. (Hyperbole? Nope, never heard of it.) So... it's gonna be amusing. Hahahahaaaa...er. Yeah.

Second: Last day of classes was today!! So, after my last final next week, I can return to my real life. Unless I die before Wednesday, which seems like a possibility.

Last: I've got about two months of stuff to comment on. So you can probably expect fifty comments appearing in your inbox come Wednesday. I haven't posted anything myself for over two months and really haven't drawn anything during that time either. So maybe you could find something from me next week as well.
