It’s just called Untitled and is not because I am lazy at coming up with titles. It’s because that the comic doesn’t have a curtain storyline, but many stories. When the first story stops and a another story takes over from there and that will continue until I don´t have more ideas, but so far I have many story-ideas. The artwork will purely be black & white and drawn rough.

I hope you people at Deviantart.com will like it.

As I have mentioned before in an early journal, I am doing an animated short film.
In that journal I described that the animation would be like watching Terry Gilliam’s cut out animations, but things have charged. Vesterday I saw a couple of traditional 2d-animated short films by animator Bill Plympton and they were just insane. I later on try to do some tests using same method as Plympton.

On this link you can see the result: [link]hC7uGilkms

So that’s how the animation will be and I am happy with it.

And the early talk about doing CG-animation? I am not doing it and it’s not because I don’t like CG. I really like it but I don’t have the patience for it. After several times of trying to learn it, I began realize that I didn’t have the fair for it. But I later figure out that making 2d animation was pretty fun so that’s perfect for me enough.

I have recently found an old draft of a story I wrote some years ago and a storyboard to a CG short film that never got made while cleaning up my room. These two things might be new short films for me to make.

Now at the moment I doing a rewrite on the script for my current short film and make a new storyboard. Maybe do some new designs of characters and sets.

That’s all from me now.

Hello all you happy people.

As I have told about in my first journal, I will take a short break from doing my short film.

In stand I have a few drawings to finish. I started these drawings for almost a half year ago. They are in the same style as King of the monsters.

Then I will do some research for a graphic novel, that I will write and draw. Can’t say so much about it, because it’s still in early stages. I always had an idea about doing graphic novels, but didn’t have the self-confidence in myself to do it.

It changes when I was to a comic book-festival Komiks.dk in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I saw again how wonderful creative and exiting the medium could be. There were so many different ways to do a comic book. I saw those that had a cinematic quality and they were the ones that made me think that making comics feels like making movies. Especially the works of Frank Miller, Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman.
Millers Sin City is a striking example of a cinematic comic book. Pages after pages it felt like watching a movie. Last year I saw the movie adaptation of the comic book and it’s was brilliant. Already looking forward for a second film.

That was all from me now. Bye-bye.

Hello all you happy people.

I notice that there are no limits when comes to writing personal journals.

Have only one problem. What should I write about…?

Now I know it!

At this very moment (not quite really) I doing an animated short film and it’s not the usual Disney film with a happy ending – kind of thing. Everything of the film is being done by me all alone. There’s no other than me who runs the show so imagine the great freedom I have.

So far I have written the script (ridiculous short – only 4 pages, come on!), made designs of the characters and the sets(looks cheap by the way) and have draw the storyboard
(I have see better).

Haven’t begun on the animation process yet because of the insane heat we have in little Denmark. Can’t concentrate that well doing the heat.
So now I planning the animation scene by scene, so that I am not screw the day I begin the process. The animation is cut out, bit in the style of Terry Gilliam’s Monty Python – animations. In the beginning I had thought about using CG, but then I saw Gilliam’s animations and got inspired. Maybe I will do a CG short film sometime in the future.
And at that time I have probably kidnapped a bunch of animators and they won’t get out before they have done my work for me. Sounds like a good idea.

An other thing I would like to do for myself after the animation is the score for the film.
I have no musical training, but I am trying to learn how to play the piano (keyboard) all by myself. People will probably try to cover their ears by the time I play. Better remember to use headphones. The score will be carry the film cause there’s no dialogue. Think of it as an animated silent movie. I would love the music to be in the style of the Warner Bros cartoons. I love those films.

That’s all for now, folks. Bye – bye.
