I turned 19 on August 3rd. I share a birthday with Travis Willingham. It's kind of funny. Oh, I got to meet him and Wendy while they were at Ikasucon. It was about 10 in the morning and no one could stop yawning.

Yay for weird scheduling. Ikasucon was SUPER FUN. I don't have much more to say than KDFJASKLDSJ. Yes. Maka Albarn cosplay is completely finished and is currently just sitting in my room. I wore it once or twice at Ikasu, but other than that? baaahaha. It was way too hot. It is not an outfit meant for 90 degree weather. I plan on going to ACross this November, so I think I'm going to wear it then.

I'm moving to Purdue campus in five days. Actually, four days in 50 minutes. Holy shit, where is the week going? I'm excited to be moving there, though. I finally got to join in on a podcast of WPTJEH. It pissed me off so much I kept missing them. Oh, yeah. I help run Jackie Earle Haley's fansite, [link] and the podcast we do can be found on [link]

Recently Nao has joined me in on this.

But I feel like I'm one of the only people that hasn't climbed onto the Twilight bandwagon, or just happens to hate the idea of the series completely. I know, I'll get fangirls probably going "HAVE YOU EVEN READ IT!?!?!?!?!" and I'll answer that: no.

I wasn't going to waste my time. Why? The idea is so cliche - there's nothing creative about it. Boy vampire meets girl human. They fall in love. Eventually have babies. Lather, rinse, repeat. Romanticized, over used, and boring.

But, finding out that Robert Pattinson, one of the main characters hates Twilight? Said the books should have never been published? Said SMeyers was mad? Made my freaking week.

And yes, people that hate it - and the fangirls - Pattinson said he was signed on for a trilogy. Wonderful.

I live, guys! Here's some stuff I took from my LJ, so you can all know what's going on.

I blame Sam. Entirely.

I want to cosplay Crisis Core Cloud, and I want a Zack. Really bad. I'm making a FFVII roleplay site -- around the CC time line. :3 But aside from that; I got my hair cut, and I had an interview with Gamestop today. Taken from a forum I'm on --

I GOT THE JOB.

AND MY HAIR CUT.

BUT I GOT THE JOB. : DDD Well, or so the guy in that store said. I have to go meet [i]his[/i] boss, who's like .. 40 minutes away. But, Zack (manager) informed me it was not a 'ass or fail' position. The man just wants to meet everyone that comes in. I'll be a 'game adviser', which means I'll work the floor a lot and if a dad comes in and is all "WHAT GAME SHOULD I GET MY LITTLE GIRL FOR HER DS?" I'm going to make suggestions and stuff. I'll get paid $6.50 an hour and work two days a week, 4-6 hours each night.

DKAD! -flails- -SO HAPPY- I won't get to meet the manager's boss until the start of August, since I'm busy these last two weeks .. which I forgot to tell you guys. x( My bad. I'm leaving Monday for Fort Wayne (Ikasucon!) and I'll be gone till the 24th. .. but that's not all. The very next friday I'm going to be gone that entire weekend, too.

THAT'S MY LIFE AT THE MOMENT.
PLUS. I'm leaving for Ikasucon Monday. x)

Anyway, guys. IKASUCON IS COMING UP. -EXCITEMENT!!- I still need flippin' sandals. ><; Need to get those ordered. But, ugh. This is crazy. I'm getting new glasses, my hair trimmed, senior pictures and then getting my hair cut again all within a few days of each other. xD

Plus I'm making small charms and selling them. Most of what I have are already on display in my gallery. I'm getting better, but I want to try and sell some of them. Maybe you can give me ideas of what to make? < 3

Attempting to download Lineage II. I've had no muse to draw anything, and it's really pissing me off. XD I guess I can color more lineart, but blah. I feel really bad because I can't draw anything because I just don't feel motivated.

OH MY GOD.
I DID IT.

I spent twelve hours catching up to Bleach. I went from chapter #180 to #319. Holy shiiitttt never agaaain. XD I told Auji I'd start reading One Piece, but I definitely need a break right now. My back was killing me last night. -headdesk- Dude, that was hardcore.

I don't think I'll do that again. Oh hell no. I will never power read that that again. But now I'm slightly depressed because I have to WAIT for it to be translated by the fans, but I'm excited because I want to work on my Ichigo cosplay. -arm pump-

Life seems to be going crummy for myself and those around me. Baaaah. I won't go into detail, just know that I'm feeling seriously depressed. -bashes head- I hate feeling depressed. ANYWAY.

School is almost out! When school lets out, life will be amazing. Ikasucon is coming this summer and I'm going to start making my Matt costume soon. :3 I think I've found a tailor/seamstress? It should be amazing. Uhh.

UPDATES.

I'm playing The Sims 2 + expansions like crazy. -loves on the sims- I also bought .. DUN DUN DUN.

PHOENIX WRIGHT. -dramatic pose- I know understand why everyone says Phoenix and Edgey are so gay for each other. THE LINES. I nearly died when I was going through the case, but I loved it. o_o If I could really draw without references, I'd totally go for some PW fanart right about now. It makes me so happy. :/ But I want the original box.

I finished the book.

My god was that an amazing book or what! <3 Some of the twists I would have never expected, and I love how Howl and Sophie's relationship was built up. So adorable.

Annyway! I'm going to try and get a subscription soon, I hope. I can't say for sure -- I might ask for that for Easter, or ten dollars or so set aside so that I can do it. Man, I can't get over that book.

That book, and the movie, are ones that I could read and watch over and over again with no problem.

Stayed home today because I didn't feel like doing much of anything.

My grandma is picking up the book of Howl's Moving Castle for me! I'm going to be reading the hell out of that book! Hopefully I'll be able to buy it soon. I'm going to ask the video store where I normally order my movies, if I bought in a bundle, how much would they charge me for multiple films ect. because I want to extend my collection of Miyazaki's films before they become impossible to find.

Also. If there is a character from Howl's Moving Castle and you would like to see a stamp for them, please tell me in a note or on this journal post that way I can add the stamp into the collection. Still putting off Prince Justin's true form and WWotW until I get the DVD and can get the clips of them I want. <3

I've finished most of the main characters except for getting an actual picture of Prince Justin, along with the Wicked Witch of the Waste. I want the one where she's all old and wrinkly, because I like her better, then. :3 <3

But I would like some input from people about them, and other characters they would like to see. Hopefully I'm going to be buying the DVD soon so I could take screenshots of other characters and expand the stamps.

If you use any of them, please comment on that stamp and fav it! I would like to see where they're being put. ^^

Miyazaki is a mastermind.

I'm currently fangirling over Howl's Moving Castle, because I watched it last night on cartoon network. It was AMAZING. Within the first fifteen minutes of the movie I was absorbed. I ended up watching it twice last night, and I plan to buy it sometime in the near future. I'm going to start buying most of Miyazaki's films on DVDs. I have My Neighbor Totoro on VHS, along with Kiki's Delivery service, but I can't find Kiki's anymore. x( I am so pissed off at that.

Anyway. I'm uploading a ton to my gallery -- mostly HMC stuff. I have my cosplays planned out for Ikasu, and they go as follows:

Bankai Ichigo from Bleach.
Mail Jeevas (aka Matt) from Death Note.

My retired costumes are:

Mihael Keehl (aka Mello) from Death Note. Why? Multiple reasons.
a) He needs real leather pants. My pleather ones have died.
b) He needs comfortable boots that actually fit my feet. I could barely walk after last year.

Those are my only real gripes with him. Everything else is perfect, and my friend is going to wear the outfit for a cross!mello thing. Anyway. I can't wait till April, because my mom said that she would start buying my Ichigo stuff. However, the wig .. will be a bitch. Simply said. I don't think that I want to do it, so maybe I can find someone that will commission it some-what cheaply? ;~; I do hope so.

Ugh. I'm tired of rambling.
