So.
A few days ago, I posted a rant about thieves stealing my games.

Here is an example of what they did (keep in mind they also added preloading ads to the flash files):


I reported them to adsense (since, on their websites, the games are wrapped in as many ads as google allows), but received no reply so far.
So I'm losing patience and notified their web host.

I guess the next step would be to post the thieves urls on deviantart's forum, so other motivated people can browse around the websites and track down the real creators of the games that were ripped and hijacked.
So far I could only recognize roiworld games, one funschool(kaboose) game (though I have no idea of how to contact them), and one from a deviantart user...

Can you contact domain registrars for this kind of complaints, though?

As the creator of Lunaii, I would like to point out that the only place you can post dolls from the dollmaker on Deviantart is in your scraps. Please do not pollute the other categories with them. Thank you very much.

I have just discovered that some website stole my coloring games. I don't mean "published them", because I allow that. No. Ripped them.

They edited the swfs, removed my website logo and links, then added their own logo, put mochiads on the files and posted the result on their (numerous) websites.

Needless to say, I want to go Dexter on them.

I'm in the process of reporting them to mochiads and adsense. I need creative ways to break them in every possible way and then some more. I would report them to their host too, but apparently they distributed the files over different servers, and that is going to be tedious (I guess I'll reconsider it once I see how adsense and mochiads react to my reports).

Please provide me with quirky, strange and absolutely insane way to murder them better. Like trapping them in a cave full of dragons, etc... Thanks!

Edit: Apparently, because the thieves added mochiads to the coloring games, they were widely distributed over the internet and can be found on every little game portal that gets games automatically from mochiads' rss (and that would be dozens of websites, if not hundreds). Thieves earned more popularity through my work than I did, and considering the edited versions of the games are everywhere on the internet for everyone to see, they are more likely to be acknowledged as the original creators (by the common web user who does not care about such things as anteriority proofs) than I am. This crap will never be cleaned off the internet.
Dexter would be too nice.

Edit 2: Mochimedia is great. They deactivated the mochiads on the stolen games, and very quickly too. <3
No reply from adsense, but I wasn't exactly expecting one.
I've started to mail and note the few game makers I can recognize. I spotted several games where the original logo was left, but the link to the original website replaced by "one-of-the-thieves-websites.tv". A lot of the old roiworld games, but content from small creators and deviantart users too.
I reaaaaaally don't want to give the names of the websites except to the concerned developers, as it would just give them a boost in traffic and advertising revenue.

Edit 3: In the "other nifty advertising practices" category, by the thief, let's add "comment spam on newspapers websites with all our links". Extra points for using porn as a keyword.
