I want to transfer to University of Florida's Journalism and Communications College. Seems like the place for me. Plus, it's way more affordable than Manhattanville. Only thing is that I think I might have to be there for four years even if I'm at Mville for a whole year b/c I'll be behind in the program. My mom already gave me "permission" to transfer out of Mville after two years, but I think it would be stupid to wait too long

So, anyway, at Mville I made a few really good friends. There's Travis, Sara, Bianca, Mike, and quite a few others. Actually, I happen to be housed in Los Angeles, California at the moment by Sara's family. I've been here since Dec. 25th (yes, xmas.) and I'll be here until Jan. 8th! It's pretty amazing here. I basically just came to chill with Sara and stuff. It's been pretty awesome. If it weren't for lack of upload ability of my camera at the moment, I can tell you that there would already be several deviations up from beautiful shots I've been taking.

So, it's 2009. Time to reflect. Man, I was different January 1st 2008. One year ago. Who would have though I'd be chillin in LA with a college friend and experiencing all sorts of new things just a short year after I started submitting college applications. I've really changed. More than you know.

So I'm living here at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. It's only a hour and ten minute car ride or two hours of trains and a bus away from my house.

The campus is beautiful and is definitely worthy of getting photographed. One of these days, haha.

So, at first, I was in a double with no roommate because the girl that was supposed to live in here got mono and won't be coming to Mville until January. So I was pretty sure that someone else would be put in here. I figured that I'd randomly come back to my room one day and a girl would be in here. That's exactly what happened. I went to unlock my door and it was already unlocked. So I got freaked, but then I went inside and saw her and her suitcase and stuff. Lol. So she's this girl from Italy. Like, she just got to America today and doesn't know a ton of English, Italy. She's really nice though.

So, anyway, I think I'm going to go back to sleep soon since I don't have class on Wednesdays. EVER. Yesss.

So I went to the Jonas Brothers concert on 8.10 with my sister. Also on 8.9 I went to a friend's 18th birthday party that surprisingly had many things to photograph. So I'm deviating a lot of those photos.

Tomorrow I'm going to NYC with my friends, so I think I should find some subjects to photograph while I'm there.

I have four shows coming up that I'm going to. On September 27th I'm seeing Danger Radio at Vibe Lounge, on October 7th I'm seeing Shwayze at The Crazy Donkey, on October 11th I'm seeing Cobra Starship at the Nokia Theater Times Square, and on November 11th I'm seeing Chiodos at the Roseland Ballroom. I only have tickets for the Danger Radio show so far. Haha.

I'm leaving my town in ten days to move into Manhattanville College. That should be fun.

So yeah. These last few days have been pretty crazy haha. Good times though..XD

So today is August 4th, and I'll be moving to Manhattanville College, one and a half hours away. My neighbor was watching the news the other day and saw something about there being a BEAR on the Mville campus! WTF????? I don't like that. If there's bears near Mville, that means that I can't go into the woods, and I really like going into the woods for photography and... stuff. So yeah. That's interesting.

So yeah. It's my first lappy. It's DELL. That kind of makes me want to cry a little bit.. but whatevs. I'll get my MacBook Pro in a few years when I have a job and can buy it myself. So, this compy is supposed to be for college. I leave on August 22nd. Mville here I come! XD

So, this Saturday is WARPED TOUR! Oh man am I excited. I'm going with my friend Ashley and her friend. I'm hopefully going to see Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, We The Kings, Forever The Sickest Kids, All Time Low, Katy Perry, Angels & Airwaves, Story Of The Year, Say Anything, The Aggrolites (listening to them now for the first time.. pretty good), & Mayday Parade. So yeah. I'm really hyped up for this. I actually had my grandma buy me new white low top Converse All Stars so I could have random band members sign them with a permanent marker. XD. When I had Andrew from Danger Radio sign my cell phone it smudged off in a day. That wont happen again..XD

So yeah. I have to go find the Sony Photo Utility disc so I can upload my camera to this compy so I can bring you more deviations!

So, last week was the Senior Scholarship and Award Ceremony. I got a $100 award from Choir for outstanding membership or something. I don't know how "outstanding" I was b/c every choir senior got it.

So, this has been a pretty good week, I submitted some new stuff here from when I walked to Phelps Lane Park with my friend ~EricaTheweird and took some photos. She didn't post her's yet.

So, I'm hoping this weekend turns out good too. I'm supposed to hang out with a few friends in my backyard by my pool. Partay!

Lol, anyway, my birthday is less than a month away. I'm going to by 18! My party is going to be a kickass event in my yard with a DJ, sushi, and about 40 people. Yah! I can't wait.

I got into a fantastic school with great financial aid, I'm getting some award from my school next Wednesday, I'm throwing an amazing birthday aprty for my 18th on June 14th, I have the greatest friends I could ever ask for, I'm getting a new MacBook Pro (and Time Capsule, Printer...etc) in less than two weeks, I'm graduating HS in a month!, I have an iPhone, I'm totally over my fear of singing in front of a large group (with a few singing with me..XD) and I am co-editior of my school's Literary Magazine (I have 5+ photos in it).

HONESTLY, I'd say my life is pretty swell at the moment. How is everyone else's going?

PS: Cute Is What We Aim For is playing at the Crazy Donkey June 29th! I'll be there!

So, in the photography world, I've been taking photos, and only uploading a few. I went to my sister's Spring Concert at her middle school and took a walk atround the building to take some photos because my throat was closing up because of the heat in there combined with my allergies. I took some good photos of the field and the sky after the sunset. I also got one of a sign that said "No parking. Buses only" or something like that, but I angled it up so it looked like the sign was in the sky. Those are comming soon. Probably tomorrow.

So I haven't uploaded anything recently. I hope to take care of that soon.

So last weekend was I-CON. It's a Sci-Fi convention. I didn't cosplay as anything, but my friend :iconEricaTheWierd: went as her own mermaid character from a story she wrote. I didn't take any pictures b/c as soon as I left my house in the morning I realized that the batteries in my camera were dead. I was so mad. So yah. My friends and I worked as voulenteers for 8 hours so we could get in for free. Working was cool b/c I was right next to the gaming room that had DDR, Guitar Hero, and Smash Bros. Brawl in it and my door that I was guarding had a lot of people. (It was my job to make sure people had their con badges or I couldn't let them in.)

So I'm in Marine Biology right now. It's pretty boring. I ahve to go now b/c the bell is about to ring.

So, it's been a while, hasn't it? Three months minus three days to be exact. Nothing extremely new, besides school, discovering my true self, buying more books that I can read, and realizing who my true friends are, has been going on.

My last update was before the school year even started.. so there was a totally different mood. I am now a High School Senior! Wow! It's almost time for college! I plan on taking myself to a SUNY college/university (upstate and slightly out of reach from parental units) and majoring in journalism. I need to get my ass on the application train. They're due Tuesday and I'm only half way through the apps.

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday: Is going to be the best day of the year! I'm going to see Fall Out Boy at Madison Square Garden! YAY! It's only TWO days away! I'm SO excited. I'm going with my friend Sam and her aunt is taking us.

So this week should be pretty epic. Monday is a day off school. Tuesday is the FOB show. Wednesday is the Senior Breakfast. Thursday is anime club. Friday is.. well.. it's Friday, c'mon! XD

So yah, what's going on in the lives of everyone else?

So, Summer is practically over, isn't it? 3 weeks are left until I start my senior year in high school. I hope it will be as good as it;s hyped up to be. I labeled the last two summers the "Summer of....." with 2005's summer being the "Summer of Anime" and 2006's Summer being the "Summer of dorama." I've been trying to decide whether to declare 2007's summer as "Summer of J-pop" or "Summer of Shopping." XD

I really did go shopping too many times this summer. I went about 10 times with my Grandma while in Florida. 3 times this month alone with ~MUSICxxJUNKIE, and once with my other Grandma a few weeks ago. Each time was to the mall. Also, I didn't even go school clothes shopping yet, so that's a whole other set of mall outings to come within the next few weeks. I expect to go at least once with my mom, my Grandma, my other Grandma, and possibly ~MUSICxxJUNKIE if I can come up with some more cash by whenever that time is.

With the jpop, this summer has gotten me into so many new artists/bands. I started listening (and fangirling over) to groups from Johnny's Entertainment. My favorites are NEWS and Arashi so far. I've also been listening to some j-rock. I've been obsessing over alice nine. and abingdon boys school. I also started listening to Nightmare as a result of their Death Note anime OP/ED. Also one other thing. I discovered Sweetbox. They're a group based in Japan that has their vocals entirely in EngLish. I capitalized the L on purpose, b/c while there are groups like BEAT CRUSADERS that are Japanese that sing entirely in EngRish, Jade of Sweetbox speaks English fluently. I discovered them through Ayumi Hamasaki b/c 1/3 of the songs on her (miss)understood album such as Bold & Delicious, Beautiful Day, and Ladies Night were composed by GEO of Sweetbox. So technically on Sweetbox's album Addicted, you can hear the "English versions" of some of Ayu's songs. They're not exactly the English versions, b/c Ayu just wrote her own Japanese lyrics to the musical compositions that aren't actual translations. So the correct statement could be that you can hear new Japanese lyrics by Ayu to some of the songs that were on Sweetbox's Addicted album.

Oh wow.. I ran this so long without talking about the subject line..XD So yah. Cosplay plans for the rest of the year. For the 3rd time in a row I'm going to be coaplaying for Halloween at school AND I will be going Trick-or-Treating probably for the last time.. as a "kid." For Halloween, I will be cosplaying as my love Abarai Renji from BLEACH. My friend Sam is going to be his captain Kuchiki Byakuya so I think it should be fun. After that, there is the New York Anime Festival that will be in NYC from December 7th-9th. My plans for that cosplay are too EPIC. I plan to be girl!Yukimura Seiichi from Prince of Tennis. Yukimura is the captain of Rikkai daigaku fuzoku chuu. Lol I'll say Rikkai Tennis Club for short..XD I'm going to buy a white tennis skort, and have a girls' version of the top and jacket commissioned in a month or so. I'm not sure if I should wear white or black sneakers. I also want to find someone to be girl!Sanada..XP I'm thinking of trying to convince Sam to be girl!Sanada.. but she doesn't know Rikkai to well. She's only read PoT up to the end of Yamabuki. Maybe I can get her to be girl!Tezuka. She is a Tezzy fangirl, and two PoT buchou are better than one lonely PoT character..XD So that's basically it on the cosplay front.

ANIME. ftw. At the beginning of the summer I was watching a ton of anime series such as Nodame Cantabile, Kekkaishi, Darker Than Black, Lucky Star, D.Grey-Man, and Naruto Shippuden. I DROPPED THEM ALL. Every single one of them. The only anime I'm watching weekly is BLEACH. It's just I'm losing interest in those anime.. b/c I guess they're boring to me.. but all of a sudden? I'll tell you the shows I'm watching weekly: BLEACH, CDTV (A music count down show), Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (a dorama), First Kiss (a dorama), and Shounen Club (the Johnny's Jr. show). So yah. I think my interests are shifting from anime to dramas and music. This is interesting, b/c I was elected as the treasurer of my school's anime club for this upcoming year, and my interest in anime has decreased. Still, I know about tons of unlicensed anime that the freshman that will enter the anime club this year will have NO CLUE about.. and that places me above them even if I never watch a new anime again. Uh oh, I think I just became elitist. XD I've been that way for a while though. Other than that. Things are going pretty good. School is out, leaving only finals to take and report cards of doom to be received. Since I live in NY, I get to take Regents. I get to take 4 of them this year. (English, Chemistry, American History, and French.) I also had a Math final, but I took it already. So yah.

So... it's Tuesday the 11th. My 17th birthday is in 7 days on Monday the 18th. What's everyone getting me? jp jp. Also, I'm leaving for Florida on the 27th and I won't be back until July 12th. That's still, like, two weeks away.. so I'll probably update this again before I leave.

So until then, .... um.... don't do drugs.... except PoT.. (lol that was so random.

In other news... I PASSED MY LEARNER'S PERMIT TEST TODAY! & I only had to take it once! XD XD It was the easiest test I've taken in my entire life. My mom kept telling me to study that NY State Driver's Manual thing.. but most of the test was pretty much common sense, and only a few of the questions came out of the book that I didn't know about already. Wasted study time..XD

In other, other news... NEWS. As in the j-boy band 'NEWS' XD. I've fallen in love with the single 'Hoshi wo Mezashite' and all 4 songs, not just the title track are awsome!

More (not fun) news! It's allergy season. Ew. I feel like utter crap. I actually stayed home today (though my school was the only school on LI to actually have school today) and I went with my Grandma and mom to the supermarket for food shopping so I could buy some Claratin-D. It took it about 2 and a half hours ago, and it hasn't started to effect me yet. ftw. What an I going to do for school tomorrow? Well, I'm obviously going to go.. it isn't going to be fun, but I'm going to go.

Anyway, back to partial sanity.. I MET VIC MIGNOGNA ON SATURDAY AT I-CON! For all of you that don't know, Vic is the ENglish dub voice actor of Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist. AKA The only dub voice actor that I am a (huge) fan(girl) of. I also met Caitlin Glass, the dub voice actress of Winry in Fullmetal, but I wasn't nearly as excited about meeting her as I was about meeting Vic. I waited on line for an hour and a half w/ my sister, ~killingforthrills, and her 2 friends. We called it the :Front of the line posse" XD XD There was only like 3 of 4 people in front of us after all! I got my Fullmetal DVD vol 1 autographed by both of them! I'll scan it one of these days and upload it to scraps here.

In other news... um... I don't know if there's any other news..XD So I guess that's it for now..XD

I remember doing this, or something like it before.. but I don't remember where I did it, so I'll do it again.

1__= I'm extremely protective of the people that are important to me. This can apply to my family, primarily my mom and sister, or to close friends. When I say close friends I actually mean less than 5 people, and right this second I can only think of one of those people off the top of my head. That's what I mean by close. If that makes any sense.

2__= Fandom = life. Once I'm absorbed by a large fandom, I'll be stuck in it for who knows how long. I found out about Bleach in August of '05, and It's still going strong, and I got addicted to PoT just last October and you see what happened with that.. so you get the idea.

3__= I HATE talking on the phone. I prefer aim, texting, myspace, livejournal, whatever. I'll only talk to one of my close friends on the phone, b/c there's always something random/funny to talk about with her.. other people, I just don't know what to talk about with.. so yah. I'm also not supposed to use the texting on my phone b/c my mom gets pissed b/c she's charged some $ for each one, but whatever, I don't do it that much, really.

4__= There's so much you don't know about me. Really, I honestly don't tell anyone anything. I'm pretty much disgusted with what's been going on in my head since September of '05, which is the length of time I've been keeping it all in. I've only told some of it to one of my close friends, the same friend I mentioned in #3. Even the livejournal-ers get practically nothing. The emo I've posted on there is really nothing. It's not that I'm way more emo than I actually say, it may be that I'm so afraid of what people will think of what I've done that I just can't say it.

5__= Looking at the right picture combined with listening to the right kind of music can bring on just the right amount of emo to make a bad abount of tears. Strange, right? It'll happen to me once and a while. + The music won't even be in English. When it's in English, it's worse though.

6__= I wish that I actually had a telent. I know that I don't. I mean, most of the photography on this dA isn't even taken for artistic purposes. Unless it's a skill for me to find 'art' in everyday randomness, then I don't really think I have even somewhat of a 'skill.'

Sorry if most of those were depressing. It happens sometimes.

Anyway.. on sunday I went in to 'the city' [aka NYC for all non-New Yorkers] to go see the musical 'The Color Purple'. The show was good, and while I was in the city, I took lits of pictures of bulidings and what not.. and there are 3 new deviations from then.

Other than that.. I am very close to finishing the Tenipuri anime... aka.. I'm up to ep 171 out of 178. It's just getting so crack-filled and ridiculous.. but after I finish the anime.. there's atill all the myus I've been watching [I'm in the middle of watching the 4th out of 12 that are out so far], the OVAs, the movies, and of course, thr manga! So, there is way more than the anime to watch in tht PoT fandom.

Oh yeah, since my last update... which was like a month ago..XD.. I became obsessed with The Prince of Tennis, Tenipuri, PoT, or whatever you wanna call it. I loooove it so much. OMG I can't stop watching.. right now I'm up to episode 88.. and I haven't even been watching it for a month yet... I'm surprised that I ended up liking an anime that if like 80% sports... Then there's Tenimyu. Those are the Prince of Tennis musicals. They are just extreme love... expecially Dream Live First... that's just pure crack. Oh, and in the anime, manga, musical.. and whatnot.. I LOVE the Golden Pair. Expecially Kikumaru Eiji. Eiji = .

But yeah, I am thrilled that they actually made Ichigo sound 15 years old instead of 19 like he does in the sub. Other than Cone, Rukia, and Yuzu, I felt no different than watching Bleach episode 1 in Japanese with subs. Honestly it's an amazing dub so far. Also, it's the first anime on Adult Swim that I have seen that has both the full opening and ending.

Anyway... 23/24 more days and 9 and a half hours until BLEACH premires on [AS] here in the good ol' USA. In English. I think it's going to be a shock.. and funny at first.. I hope it's good. Most of the anime that i've seen on [AS] that I have also seen the sub of is pretty good... like I don't have anything against the InuYasha dub or the Samurai Champloo dub.

Of what you ask? That's the almost disgusting amount of anime that I watched all day yesterday. I didn't even go on the internet at all until at lesast 11 pm... although... I did turn on the TV *GASP* at 8pm to watch one of my new TV loves, Kyle XY. OMG I watched TV for a whole hour! haha.. I am going to have to watch TV starting in september at 11:30 pm so I can watch BLEACH on [AS]. God that is going to be scary. The English voice actors for Ichigo and Orihime are going to be the same actors that play Renton and Eureka from Eureka seveN.

I put pictures of Shana from Shakugan no SHANA and Ichigo from BLEACH on my wall next to my Happy Bunny Poster. I'll take a picture of it soon.

I really hate my RAZR phone. Not even because it's the pink one, I actually just don't like it. My sister broke her cell phone the otrher day by being a dumbass and jumping in the pool with it. So since my contract is going to go up soon, my mom is going to give my sister my phone, and I will get my mom's phone, which is a black RAZR, and then MY MOM gets a new phone; using MY expired contract. So I still end up with a RAZR and my mom gets to get a new phone. Oh, there is one plus to this.. my sister gets to have a pink RAZR like every other future 7th grader in her school. yay for her.

Anyway.. I joined a club. It's for cat lovers. So now I get to do this:

Other amazing things include: Seeing and going inside the Collosium in Rome, actually seeing the Pope at the Vatican, Singing with a few other members of the Choir in the Baptistry next to the leaning tower of Pisa, taking that classic picture of my hand holding the leaning tower of Pisa, making a certian wish on a 20 cent euro coin at the Trevi fountain, among other things.

Interesting/Sucky things that didn't matter because it was still worth it: sharing a room with people I totally hate but had to keep it in to keep the peace, even though I almost totally flipped out on Allison Conte for being a bitch towards Brian, walking at least 50 miles I'm sure, getting sun poisoning possible..XD, blisters, breaking my sunglasses and buying another pair from this african guy for 25$ that wouldn't STFU and stop following me around, not having my bathing suit when we went to the beach, paying 17 euros [which is like at least 22 american dollars] for SPF 50 sunblock for said sun poisoning, showers that werent even 2 ft by 2 ft I swear, rooms that didn't evan have enough floor space to put more than 1 suitcase at a time, there was 4 people in that room, our first room had no AC and a bunk bed; I got the top;damn.

THE COCOA SONG.

Complete randomness from the ride that we had to take to get from Nice, France, to Florence, Italia. It's not like that was the only song. But it was the funniest. Heres how it got started, in the second hotel we stayed at, there was this waiter guy in the breakfast room, and he was dancing around going "CACAO CACAO" [cocoa in French; funny because they have 2 As and we have 2 Os] So Charles [this totally awsome random kid from my school; was in my English class for the last 2 years, and is in the Choir, made up this song, totally improvised and guess what? I have it recorded on video! OMG All you psychos get to see/hear it for yourselfs. Like you care. hah. It's pretty funny though. You should play it.[link] there it is w00t. One of the reasons Charles sang that song was to annoy the Maryland provate school girls that were there. OH! I forgot to mention them. God forbid that us NBers had a rich enough town to have enough kids to afford this trip.. so we had to combine with another group which happened to be girls from a private school in Maryland. Stuck up, snobby, Gucci'd up, flip flop wearing, "LYKOMG speaking" girls. They were so rude to us! and it was just because we were from a public school believe it or not! Anyway; I submitted a couple new photos today, nothing that I took recently, just pictures that I took.


I am about to submit one or more pictures that I just took today though. I went with my sister to her friend Alyssa's house, and I went in their pool, and I took pictures of some of the kids in the pool, and of the little pond with a bunch of fish in it, and of their two dogs. First, I am going to submit the one of their dog Mika. I don't know what's going to be next though.


Anyway [again] Tommorow I am leaving for Europe for 10 days. I'll be back on the 6th. I'm sure there will be some beautiful things to take pictures of in Europe. By the way, I am going to Paris and the French Riveara, France, and Rome, Italy.


Oh, and I do talk about things that don't have to do with dA..XD I went to the library with Amanda [my sister] and her friend Alyssa, her sisters Erica and Jamie, and her brother Nick because I had to return 6 manga that I took out, and by the time I was done returning those manga and taking out 3 other manga, all the kids were in the children's section of ther livrary because there is this pirate thing-y going on and the kids could get balloon animals and eye patches. I ended standing right outside of the section for a little while with their mom waiting for them. Well, it wasn't such a bad day for my last day in the country. God.. Also, Mia is short for Miageta which is a way to say Sky in Japanese. So if you haven't figured it out by now, I am obsessed with the Japanese language. I hope to master it one day, but I haven't gotten past learning the hiragana for the vowels yea, so I still have a long way to go.

So, I am not actually new to dA. I used to come here under the name ~kawaii-sky and I used to draw. But I sucked at it, so I stopped. hah. Now I take pictures. Mostly of random things, but if something catched my eye, I'll get it on my camera. The quality of the photos won't be that amazing, because 1) my camera only has 4 mega pixels, and 2) I resize them in Paint, so the quality drops there too [If anyone knows a program that I can resize my images in, please let me know] I hope to get a better camera soon. I really want a Sony Cybershot. 8.1 Mega Pixels was how many there was in one that I saw at Radio Shack last tuesday. I need a job. hah. ]]> ~miadesu
