My tablet's giving me such a hard time right now. It's as if I've lost all my skills during the holidays. The request I did with the tablet turned out good enough, but when I try to replicate the results with my devID? No luck =3=...I don't even know what I'm doing wrong with this one. I think I might have to start over from scratch. Either on physical paper, or just erase everything and start over. My Goddess this is frustrating~!

I made a YouTube video!! [link]
It's a video of me playing GTA: San Andreas and battling Yukkuri while showing off the mods I've collected. I downloaded a video-capture program to make it, but I was only able to capture 30 seconds of in-game footage at a time so making this video was a bit difficult. Anyway I hope you like it ~.^

Aunt Sibbyle and Uncle Buddy left yesterday, and my dad and stepmom were over for the weekend as well. I got some nice presents, and I even gave some too ^^. Oh, and I got my room back~!

I'll continue to work on my devID tonight and hopefully get it done soon so I can work on my other projects

Here are some of the things that's been going on with me lately:

+I'm having to sleep in my cousin Brandon's room for the next few days. Why? Because Aunt Cybil and Uncle Buddy's coming over to visit and they're gonna sleep in my sunroom...yeah, yippie =3= ...Been a long time since I've seen them though. Should be fun. I like my sunroom though, not as cramped and cluttered as Brandon's.

+My devID's not cooperating with me so far. You see I kinda screwed up the stick-figure stage and it's affecting the blue-line sketches. Those stickfigures are supposed to help me get the pose and anatomy right, not hinder it :/. Might have to redo parts of it. Doubt I'll get it done before Yuletide like I hoped, but I still got two days left until then so we'll see.

+I'm taking a break from job-hunting until after x-mas (unless someone calls me for an interview of course).

Job Hunting - Well, Dollar Tree called and the news wasn't good...I didn't get the job =3=
So, I'm just gonna have to try some other retail places and see if they're hiring. But I doubt it since it's already close to X-mas and everyone has already hired all the help they needed. I still have to try though...
Do you think that there's any validity to the myth that employers look up the myspaces of their interviewees to decide who to hire?

Art - Yeah...I should really post something, huh. Well, by popular demand (based on the results of my poll) I shall try to get my new devID posted sometime before Yuletide ;3. I've also been inspired to draw another Catien, so look forward to that as well.

Still waiting for Dollar Tree to hire me, been calling them every few days. I'll call them again tomorrow. Haven't been feeling like drawing much lately. Panel one of the comic is just about done though.

I've been modifying the heck out of my PC version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Now it's more like a Touhou game. I got a character changer, some script mods that let me cast various spell cards from both the 2D and 3D fighters, I've even modded the cops and a few story characters and turned them into Flandre, Remilia, Koakuma, Patcholi, and others. I even turned the gang members in the game into Yukkuri . This YouTube video [link] got me into it about a month ago. I've been having to search through Japanese mod-hosting sites for many of the Anime/Touhou mods. But I've been finding cool mods on english mod sites too like [link] [link] [link]

Alrighty~!
On the developing story of the job hunt, I've called Dollar Tree the other day and they said that the reason they haven't called me yet is because they're still interviewing people and they haven't made a decision yet. I'm gonna take GZ's advice and call them every other day until they're all like "YES! Yes you got the job! Happy?" and I'd be like "Why yes I am, thank you...when can I start work!" XD
All joking aside though I'm seriously gonna try badgering the heck out of that manager.


As for the comic, Infinite-Ion has given me the go-ahead for the merger and I'll start on it shortly. Art-wise, I'll be working on some side-projects along with it. Tomorrow I shall continue searching Grammy's attic for more cute plushies to take pictures of. ^^b

Well, it's Sunday and I still haven't heard from Dollar Tree. They were supposed to call me on Friday and told me that I had the job, but they didn't. So it looks like I'm back to square one yet again. I can call them, but I'll probably just be facing rejection either way *is veeerry tired of being rejected* =3= (EDIT: I called them anyway, and the manager will be in tomorrow, so I'll be calling them again then)

I found an appartment I could rent that's on Tropical Trail less than a block away from Grammy's house. However I don't know about moving there since I'll just be moving to Ohio once I get some debts paid off (which should be around March or April in the coming year)...especially since I don't have a job. Is it too much to ask for someone to hire me? I've been out of work for two and half years now and living off of government checks. It sucks...but I guess it's better than nothing. I just wish things would be better. o(╥﹏╥ )o

*sighs, rolls eyes* I'm rambling like an emo...this has got to stop. ಶ_ಶ


On a more positive note, I've got something worked up for the long-overdue prize comics. However the plot idea I have in mind involves merging both 's 3-page omake with 's 1-page omake into a 4 or 5-page Omake Mini-series featuring their OCs. GZ is ok with the idea. But since Ion's internet connection is down and is forced to use the school computer to check her dA, It'll be a while before she's able to ok it or not. I'm sure she would, I just wanna make sure before I finally get the gears turning on this thing.

Man, I can't believe it's Thanksgiving already~! We had a real big Thanksgiving meal this afternoon, and we had a guest over named Jerry. He's one of Grammy's friends. And Green Bay's winning!


I've completed the off-dA drawing, I'm just adding some more details and stuff to it such as a background. I'm sure they'll be quite proud of it when they see it as I am


A long time ago...I think it's been six months, not sure, that I held a desktop background contest. It didn't really go too well IMO, because regrettably, I still owe ppl prizes for it because I didn't think through any of the details (it was my first contest afterall). The request drawings for third and fourth place were easy enough, but I'm having trouble with the comic features because I don't have any plot ideas for them

Therefore, my fellow watchers, I want to know what cool suggestions for these comics you may have so I can get these things done. There's alot of potential, I'm just having trouble tapping into it... ┐(´～｀; )┌




TABLET STAGE KEY:
(Thanks to -chama's speedpaint video [link] for helping me immensely with my tablet drawings ^^b)

"Blueline sketch stage": This is the rough sketch I do with my tablet using a light blue like in the vid. I may sometimes draw blueline stickfigures before doing the sketch for difficult poses

"Black outlining stage": In this stage, I create a new layer, and start outlining it using the the line/curve tool. This stage also gives me the chance to fix any errors from my sketch stage. The reason why I don't do this stage with my tablet is because I can't draw nice smooth lines with it (heck even my physical drawings have messy lines). I erase what I did in the previous stage once this stage is completed.

"Coloring Stage": Pretty self-explanitory. I just lay down the basic colors, either with the fill tool, or simply use the color-under-the-lineart technique depending on where I wanna go with the drawing.

"Shading/finishing touches stage": Also self-explanitory.

I got another job interview...this time it's from Dollar Tree. It's on a Sunday of all days...oh well, I might get hired to work there, so I can't complain lol.

Job Hunting: I have officially given up on Target now. I still haven't heard from them, and if I was accepted, I would've gotten a call from them by now asking me why I didn't come for my orientation or somewhere along those lines. So now I've put applications in Dollar Tree and Burger King. Hopefully I'll get hired with one of those.

Drawing: All this week I've been practicing with my new tablet. Thanks to that avatar requested by Kyuubi-girl, I've gotten really good at coloring. Now I gotta practice drawing with it. Here's how far I've come since I've got it:


Avatar Requests: *sigh* For me, the last two avatars I've made have been somewhat of a letdown. Usually when I make an avy for someone I expect them to use it as their icon for a couple weeks at least. Making avatars is fun don't get me wrong, but when the person who requested an avy doesn't even use it I can't help but feel a bit disappointed...no offense :/

Other stuffs: I'm currently doing an off-dA request for a friend's birthday that's comming up, so art on this site is at a stand-still at this point in time. I should be done with this project in a couple days or so.

UPDATE

Ok, I have made a new account on MSN, I'm starting from scratch now. I have made note of everyone's Live ID's and will begin re-adding everybody to my contact list. I will no longer be using my old account so you can just delete it and add me using the Live ID of my new account.

As for Target, my interview with them went swimmingly. I'm still waiting for the results of it though. I spoke with Mariallis (sp?) today and asked her if I got the job. She said I should be getting a postcard or letter from them telling me whether or not I did. But after ten days since my interview on Oct. 29th, I have yet to get anything of the sort. If I don't get a letter or postcard from them tomorrow then I will call them and tell them to re-send the thing...I am determined not to fail!! I will get a job, I will have the money for my dad's old truck, AND I will get out of my Grammy's house and get my own place in Ohio if it's the last thing I do!!

My tablet arrived in the mail this afternoon!!

I've been spending the evening, and some of the night trying it out. It's really awesome. 8x5, comes with a mouse and the stylus is pressure-sensitive.

I'm gonna color the images for -chan's journal skin tonight and then try my best to dedicate all day tomorrow to finishing -chan's avatar.

Again I feel the need to apologize to everyone for not being as active as I used to on this site. Ever since I started living here with my grandma, uncle, and cousin, circumstances have changed a bit and I'm trying to balance my RL obligations with my Online ones and it gets a bit overwhelming sometimes

Anyways, on a more positive note, I've got a couple random piks to upload for you guys. Go check 'em out b

Dang...I just realized it's been ages since I've updated my journal. I've had such a busy week. I've been job hunting, filling out applications, chatting with friends. But the good news is...I've got a call from Target. Yes, they're looking for seasonal help, and I got an Interview scheduled for the 29th of this month~!

I really hope I get the job . Cuz when I get it, I'll be able to afford the insurance on the truck my dad's gonna give me. It's a black '94 Dodge Dakota. He had it for a long time so...there are some problems with it. The radio doesn't work, it needs a new fan for the AC/heater, but it still runs suprisingly well. I think that when I get the truck I might either try to get it fixed, or just trade it in for something better. Still haven't decided yet.


I've updated my project list as well. But...since I've been busy, I didn't get much done OTL *shot'd*

Okee, some of you who have requested an icon from me were wondering when I'll get them up. So I've decided to add them to the queue in my Project List so that you guys would know the status of yer avy construction (^_~).

In other news, I'm just about done with the Millie x Andrea pairing and will upload a WIP to my scraps shortly (about 5-7min after I post this journal). I've learned of a new coloring technique from this one time I was on iScribble with Michi-chama, and thought I might try it out. It's not new, but new to me XD. I'm coloring under the picture using multiple layers (before that, I would just use one layer, bucket, re-line where needed, shade, done)

Uncle Tommy has slightly improved his scanning skillz, but it's still not as good as scanning it myself. All the scans he's sent me were in .Jpeg format, making it difficult to color using the above mentioned method. I mean there are white and black specks all over where the lines are, so I'm having to redo every part of the lineart digitally! щ(°Д°щ )

I'm starting to wish Aunt Jenny would hurry up and mail me my scanner... o(╥﹏╥ )o

Turns out that using Grammy's tablet didn't work out as planned. Uncle Tommy (not to be confused with my Uncle Tom from Ohio)used every excuse in the book to prevent me from using it even though Grammy was ok with it. "You got your own computer," "Why do you need a tablet for?" "Why don't you get one of your own?"

But enough ranting, there's some good news comming from this. Turns out Uncle Tommy has a scanner. So I drew a pik of 's character Andrea to test Tom's scanner settings and he scanned it and emailed it to me. And Uncle Tommy and I also looked up some tablets and we found a pretty good one for $60-some-odd. It's 8"x5", pressure sensitive, and it even comes with a mouse. I'll be getting it hopefully sometime next month. v(ΦωΦ )

Until then, I'll be drawing anime like I normally do while experimenting with a couple of newer styles and techniques. Everything is finally as it should be...Praise the Gods! （ノ；▽；）ノ

Well guys, I'm back at my Grammy's now after spending a week at my Dad's helping him do stuff around the pasture of my parents' ranch house. So now that I have most of my art supplies and Grammy's tablet again, I'm gonna start drawing some stuff to practice drawing on the tablet. So watch my scraps to see any practice drawings I make. I'm going to stay at Grammy's all winter, so I'm settled in now. Therefore all things in my Art Status section is now open ^^b

Mahou Tsukai: Ok...bad news for MaTsu fans. The comic will be temporarily discontinued. Initially, it was just very slow going. But I can't find my original scripts anywhere and now I'm in a serious art-block with the comic! D8 MaTsu Omake comics will still be in the works though. I'm even thinking of one with a battle sequence ;D

I'm also updating my Project List with some new stuff, including a new devID and more piks of Millie (see "Onnanoko Desu" [link] ). She's my most recent OC

My net's fixed!!

Had to type the journal I did last night on my dad's comp. But thankfully I don't have to borrow his anymore. My parents called BellSouth and got the whole thing taken care of. So now I have net on my comp again!

In other news, I just made my first journal skin lol ^^b. Still need to figure out how to put images on the top and bottom of it though.

Ok, after a brief journey, Grammy, my Grandparents from my stepmom's side, and I met up with my parents at this neat restaurant in Daytona. I had some beer and some Grille Wraps (there's chicken and letuce in it and it's really good ).

After our late lunch, I parted with my dad and stepmom we stopped by St. Augustine for a somewhat spontanous trip to the beach. I couldn't find my swimming trunks anywhere in my suitcase and I swore I took em with me when I left Wisconsin with Jen and Tom. Oh well. We were all wearing shorts so we just took off our shoes and walked along the water at the beach. It was awesome, I could barely remember the last time I ever went to a beach lol.

The first thing I did when I got to my parents house was put my stuff in my room and help my dad take out the trash and move this uninstalled, ant-infested hot-tub into the back of their pickup truck so Trish can take it to the dump. This isn't a vacation, I'm here to help my dad cuz even though he's feeling a bit better after his stay in the hospital he's still a bit ill. Hence another man is needed around the house. HOOZAH! XD

A few ant bites and a bit of hand washing later, I hooked up my laptop and tried to get online. But for some really weird reason, my computer's rejecting their network. I called Uncle Tom (the one from FL) to see if he could help me fix the problem, but it turns out we need to call the ISP (BellSouth). Right now I'm typing this journal from my Dad's laptop, but I should have internet sometime tomorrow.

Ok, it's been awhile since I've updated my journal. Here's what's happening in my neck of the woods lol

I'm still at my Grammy's. Trish (my stepmom) is getting surgery done so I won't be able to see my dad until this Saturday. All art on my Commissions and Project List is still on hold at the moment (sorry GZ) due to not having a scanner, as well as current events in real life. But I'm in the process of doing a meme, so I should have that up pretty soon.


The good news is that my Grammy has a tablet PC. A laptop with a built-in tablet!! She barely uses that capability since she's not an artist. So I've talked to her and she said that I can use it if I ask. So I'mma do my meme on that sukka! I'm so looking forward to it!


Oh! and check my new journal skin. Mouse over the photo to see two different pictures of Millie . I might have to find another journal skin though cuz I can't put my project list on it. It's just the way it was programed

Warning: senseless babel
basically, I made it to FL safe and sound lol.

Alright! I've successfully flown to Orlando, picked up by Grammy and driven to her house. Man things have changed alot since I was in Merritt Island last. Brandon's got a car (an Oldsmobile SUV, he's still working on getting his permit, he's 18 now). And he's much cooler compared to the dorky guy I used to know . He's like a little brother to me lol, not just a cousin. Uhmm...The DMV on Courtney Pkwy shut down, so I'mma have to go to Titusville to switch my ID over. Then again, I might go back to Ohio and get a place up there when I get the chance. I really love it up north, Florida's too hot .

Anyway, I took a couple more piks on the plane. So I'll submit them pretty soon. I had to leave my scanner behind because I couldn't take it with me on the plane (if I did, it would require another suitcase and that costs extra muulaaa 0.o). But don't worry, Jen said my scanner would be one of the first things she mails back to me, and that includes my Xbox360.

The flight...was pretty much uneventful other than the fact I haven't flown since two years before 9/11. At the security checkpoint, I had to take off my shoes, and empty my pockets, take my laptop out of my bag to scan in a separate X-ray that won't damage it, etc, etc. I was lucky to make it on the plane in time, let's leave it at that. Anyway, during the flight

I played Earthbound, beat Frank (the boss of the street gang known as the Sharks), and got the key to the locked shed/cave entrance from the Mayor, and then played some Yume Nikki. I found the Purple Pyramid where the blonde girl lives, and met the Monoko (the five-armed girl).

I tried the Uboa switch thing in the Purple Pyramid, but no luck so far. I tried and tried...until we had to land and I had to wake up and save in the diary. One person described the chances of stumbling onto the Uboa switch after finding the Purple Pyramid as having similar odds to finding a Shiny Pokemon (those who know Pokemon know what I'm talkin' about...those things are friggin rare )

Now if you excuse me, I won't be online for the rest of the night. I got jet-lag and I'm tired...*goes to bed at 10p, which is way early for me *

Guess what? I'm spending the night with my cousins Trevor and Tyler! ^^
I'm having loads of fun playing Halo 3 & Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with them. They're pretty darn good at it lol. Their fraggin' me alot XD. Oh well, Im still having fun. I just felt like taking a break to do this quiz. I'll be leaving on a plane for Florida on Monday, btw.

The first leg of my journey has been completed. Jen and her husband Tom have successfully driven me (as well as anything from my house I could carry in my suitcases and backpack) to their rather nice-looking house in the rural town of Shelby in the "Good Morning State" (Ohio/Ohayou...get it? ). I'll be staying here for about a week before making the second and final leg of the journey. Meaning, I'm gonna be flying to Florida after that. I haven't flown in a plane in ages, so I'm a bit nervous.

And while I'm on my journey, I'm gonna be a real cellphone shutter-bug. I shall have some picures of the strange Ohioan landscape posted on my page sometime tomorrow.


In other news:
For some reason, my lappy almost died when I booted it up in the car this afternoon (9/21). It was some kind of "fatal error", or an error preventing my comp from booting up right. Thank Goddess for Vista's automatic repair software. Without that, I'd prolly not've been able to type this journal. However I did lose the application files for Yume Nikki, the SNES and GBA ROM emulators and Earthbound. But I had backups on a .zip so I didn't lose them entirely. In the end, the worst that happened is all my progress in said games were lost.

Anyway, I'm available for chat on MSN till I get tired (3am. Eastern Time or 3hrs after press time)

Good news everyone!
My dad's out of the hospital after a couple week's stay. He still has the cancer, but he's feeling better enough to be home. The doctor's aren't sure what they'll do next. They might have to do surgery on him, but like I said, they aren't sure. I'm just glad he's out and about.

Meanwhile, on my end, I'mma have to start packin' stuff up tomorrow. 'Tis gonna be long and sucky lol. And I might not be able to answer your messages right away...just so you know. And...I'll be leaving the 21st.

Ok, I have confirmed the exact date I'll be moving to Florida this month. on the 21st my stepmom's friend Jenny is going to drive over here and help me move. Grammy couldn't get me because she has to stay with my dad.

I knew he was sick with something and is in the hospital, but the other night, Grammy called and told me that the doctors found out what was wrong. My dad has cancer...and it's spread for a bit but then it stopped. So...I'm pretty worried about him. I hope he makes it :/


Since the move'll be this comming Monday, I'll try to put up what I can artwise before packing everything up on the 20th. So starting now, all requests, art trades, and commissions will be closed/put on hold until I get settled in at my Gradma's house.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't submitted any art as of late. After all the stuff that's happened so far, I just haven't had any motivation for drawing. However, I should have the pik of Valentine and the next page of Mahou*Tsukai done sometime this week. I can't really give an accurate ETA, cuz everytime I try I wind up posting it late lol.

Anyway, introduced me to these cool SSP widgets . One of them is a chibi of Miku Hatsune (sp?) that plays music, and the other one is like this cute catgirl Emily, her winged-bunny sidekick, and her twin bro who pops up sometimes (desktop screencap comming very shortly). There's just one problem though...their word-balloons only "speak" Japanese 0.o...I can understand spoken Japanese a little bit, but I'm COMPLETELY clueless when it comes to written Japanese. I set it to English, but it only applies to the right-click menu, and not the character's word balloons. Aside from that I did have fun toying around with it and seeing thier expressions.

I Google-searched for an English version, but it proved fruitless.

After looking through their programming a bit, I learned that all the characters follow a script code contained in several .txt documents that can be tweaked. So lately I've been going to BabelFish alot trying to translate all the character text so that they'll speak English.

My first attempt was epic fail though. After translating a couple of Emily's .txt scripts and saving, she went mute. Meaning no matter how much I clicked on her, she didn't speak or do anyhing other than just sit there and look pretty ┐(´～｀; )┌ |D. After I reinstalled the widget, I then learned the script code only accepts ASCII text (the category Japanese kana/kanji fall under). So how can I possibly hope for them to speak English you might ask? Well, there is such a thing as "Fullwidth" lettering that looks Ｌｉｋｅ ｔｈｉｓ. Fullwidth falls under ASCII, and it's more than likely what the Japanese use to type out their Romaji. So now I'm gonna use those fullwidth letters and hope it works.

Yes! the fullwidth lettering works! I have successfully translated/converted almost half of the Menu script. Here's a screencap (read the artists comments for more info about my progress):

News time everybody

Man, just my luck... My dad's really sick, I have a cold, and I might have to be moving away pretty soon. I love Waukesha, it's a great town...it's just that things aren't really working out for me here. You see, the landlord had recently jacked up the rent for the complex I'm in. And now I can barely afford two weeks, let alone a month.

I've already talked to my Grammy, and told her what was going on, and she said that after she stays over at my dad's for a bit (she don't know for how long), she'll be driving up to get me and go to her house in Florida. Sure Grammy and I have our differences, but there's not really much choice. I got Grammy to agree on a few things though, so living with her till I get another place won't be as horrible as last time. And I get to see my Uncle Tom and my cousin Brandon again.

Still, I'm not too happy about the move...

What do I want to be when I grow up?

1.) First thing I remember wanting to be when I grew up was an Astronaut lol. I thought it would be really cool to go up into space and stuff. I set some pretty lofty goals as a young'un, things that would be difficult to achieve in reality.

2.) Next, I wanted to be an airline pilot. It seemed easy with those flight simulators I was playing at the time. However it wasn't really my thing.

3.) Then in my sophmore year in high school, I started looking at my friend's psychology textbook. And I found some of the most interesting things in there. Seemed like something I'd like to do. I was still mostly undecided though.

4.) Then in my senior year, I saw an ad for a career in game design. To this day, I find this to be the career I was looking for. I mean, I think it would be great to create a videogame . Unfortunately, I don't really have the money to go to college, and I don't wanna get in debt with those student-loansharks neither. ¬_¬

5.) Now? I'm just trying to find a job I would enjoy doing. I've been unemployed for two years now...TWO YEARS!!1! No one wants me I guess . I have to keep trying though, I can't live off my fixed income forever

Hey y'all, thought I'd report in. My kiriban is less than 100 pageviews away! "What? Already?" Yep

Me: I was pretty anxious and worried all weekend...I couldn't even draw. All this uncertainty is killing me! I just got myself out of a pickle with the bank...but barely. I'm still feeling uncertain about things though, but at least I can draw now. I'll try to have some more art up by tonight or tomorrow as well as complete the lineart for Sunrin so I can color it.

dA: Well, other than the kiriban at 3,333pv's and the art, there's not really much to report on my end.

Mahou Tsukai: I should have the first Arcade Omake up by Wednesday. And hopefully the next page of the main story up by Friday/Saturday

Videogames: There's a mission in Red Faction: Gurilla that I'm stuck at. Where you have to defend a town in the Oasis Sector from EDF tanks. My Nano-Forge rifle works well for the first 3 tanks, but then more come in a two-pronged attack from the north and south...and that's where I keep dying.

My GameFly came in the other day, and I've been playing the heck out of Red Faction: Guerilla. This game's from the makers of the Saints Row series, only this game's engine is much better

Basically, the game's set on a teraformed Mars in 2100, and you play this dude named Mason who's in the Red Faction, a group rebelling against the EDF (Eath Defense Force) so that Mars can gain independence from Earth. I gotta say that the coolest thing about this game is the fully destructable environment. You can destroy any building. You can take your hammer and make your own doors and even ram into buildings with a vehicle (preferably a big transport truck) XD

Ok, I haven't posted a news journal in awhile so I'mma tell yo guys how I'm doin'.

Me: Not much is happening with me. Tha net's down at Kitty and Chixin's house. My fiscal sitch isn't exactly good either :/....I don't wanna talk about it (some things are better left unsaid). Dean says he'll help me out though. He's cool like that ^^b.

I'm having a sort of art-block when it comes to 's commision. I'm having trouble drawing the characters sitting cross-legged. I might draw them in Seiza position (kneeling), but I dunno...

Ok, my friend Brian (Who is part of my “RL Posse” of friends that Dean introduced me to. not but a different Brian) showed me some stuff about Indigo and Crystal Children and showed me this site (just Googled under “Indigo Children” or “Crystal Children” ) that showed their characteristics. 1.) I got alot of occult-related items in my room. I luffs my magicks
2.) I tend to be nocturnal. I'm such a night-owl. I would stay up all night and sleep half the day lol.
3.) I drink, but I don't care much for hard liquor. I prefer Miller Highlife, now that's a beer ^^b
4.) I've been told I'm a very good reader. And that I have a talent for painting pictures with words. These are from people who've read my novel. (Φω~)b
5.) I've got mild anti-social tendencies. I spend most of my time in my room. But lately I've been working on this and now I've got my own circle of friends ^^b (stay tuned, I'll tell you about them soon)
6.) I'm a gamer. I like shooting games as much as role-playing games.
7.) I get easily embarassed when I make a mistake.
8.) I'm somewhat scared of riding rollercoasters. Haven't gone to an amusment park in ages tho.
9.) I like walking around town at night. It's quiet, peaceful, and occasionally gives me ideas for my novel.
10.) Well, last but not least, it's time I put this in the open: I'm bi, but I prefer women more. And I couldn't be prouder ^^

Me:
I went to an antique shop in town and got me a sickle (short-handled sythe) and a glass Pac-Man cup ^^. I also saw a red spherical transistor radio from the '70s. It had a chain on it with a keyring at the end. But it only picked up AM signals and it's $40! 0.o ...So I didn't buy it even though the shape was cool (if it doesn't pick up 102.1FM, I have no use for it). I'm thinking about sharpening the sickle and making me a replica of Kohaku's teathered throwing weapon from Inu-Yasha out of it . As of right now it's hanging on the wall at my house.

Well, while I wait for Angie-chama to work her magick on my new avy to make it usable on dA, I'm gonna finish up my 2012: The New Beginning Technology Ref. I decided to divide it up into four parts: Computers, Storage Mediums, Cameras, and Miscelanious Advances. The one I'm working on now is Part One: Computers. I got Laptops done and I'm now working on Desktop and Tabet PC's and then I'll upload it when that's completed. Which will be very soon, so look forward to it

Ok, my computer's acting bit wonky lately. It still works thank Odin, but it's a bit slow. I'm currently doing a virus scan right now. I completed my new avy, but it's larger than 15kb (the avy I just made last night is 24kb) for some weird reson. I had all the frames made and the frames were about 800bytes each before I restarted my comp. Then when I went to compile the frames into a .gif, I found that each frame was 1.6kb each (0.o WTF)! I'll upload this avy as a deviation after this entry so you can see it. I'm just gonna either have to figure out a way to compress it or something, that or do the whole avy all over again without shutting the comp down/restarting.

After that, I'm gonna finish my 2012:TNB Technology ref. Other than computer technology, I haven't thought of any other advances they'd have in an alternate 2012. I mean, I don't think we'd have laser-guns in 3yrs . I wanna be realstic, not cliche when it comes to future technology. I'm sure that if the scientists actually tried, we could have holographic monitors by 2012. I'm sure I'll think of a few things tho.

Wow...I still can't believe how I became an Assistant Admin of a club practically overnight! It all started when I contacted Angie-chama ( ) for permission to make my OC Josh a MelonBoobz icon. She told me to contact Carrie-chama ( ) and ask her, so I did. One thing led to another, and they told me how they needed an extra hand for the club to help update it and fulfill avatar requests much like what Angie-chama's doing. I offered to help them, and they gave me the keys. I feel so honored to be a part of the MelonBoobz Team.

A big Thank You goes out to and for this opportunity. And I will be sure to make them proud

To celebrate, I'm thinking about making a MelonBoobz icon of my Taingan persona and make it my avy (I guess you can say my OC Bridgit got mad at me for what I did to Josh and did the same thing to me lol)

I'm so sorry for not doing the art I owe people (mainly the contest prize piks) I shall try to get to them as soon as I can you guys, so don't fret. I made my first plz-account today. Here it is:

The other day, my Uncle Tom emailed me this freeware program that would allow me to view and make animated .gif files without ever having to use Photoshop. It's very cool

The icon is a simple two-frame .gif using a googled image as a base. I just animated it.



Oh, and you should totally listen to "Time to Pretend" by MGMT. Dean gave me the song from his MP3-player. I love the tune, it's playful ^^

Here are this week's headlines:

I'm still reading Stephen King's The Stand. Dang it's long! Over a thousand friggin pages, almost as long as the christian bible (if not longer). But I finally got to the intersting part about ten or so chapters ago. I'm about a quarter of the way through it and I've already had to renew it once. I have a feeling I might have to renew it about three or four more times before I'm finished with it XD.
I'm really liking it so far despite it's length. There are six or seven different characters in it and when there's a new chapter, it goes over to check on them individually. Right now I'm at the part where Larry Underwood is crossing the Lincoln Tunnel on foot 'cause the cars are clogging it and it's super dark in there.

In other news, I'm doing fine. I've been hanging out with Dean quite a bit lately. He's teaching me how to play the guitar ^^b. And I'm still trying to find a job. I've signed up at an employment agency so hopefully I should be hearing from them in a few days.

Well, I'll add more to this later. My batteries are low.

Alright, I have the latest WIP for Hulkalicious showing the two panels I recently put into the comic. But it's not letting me upload it for some reason. I'll maybe try again on different Wi-Fi network, but the point is that I'm very close to finishing the final pik. All I gotta say is I'll be so happy when it's finally completed (which could be late tonight or early morning if I really put my butt in gear).
Sorry it's taking so long OTL. I got a few more pannels and a some quick fixes before I can upload the final pik.

I made a new friend this week. His name's Dean and I met him while cutting through the park to get home from the library. He had a guitar and he even played me a few songs he wrote. He played very well, he even sung "The Best Song in the World" by Tenacious D. We hung out for a bit just talkin' and laughing.

So this morning, he called and asked if he could come over to my place so he could use my computer to download a few songs to his MP3 player. And I said sure. Afterwards, he invited me to go with him to a guitar store downtown. And thinking this would be a great opportunity to get out of my room and have some fun for a change, I could'nt pass it up.

When we got there, we went into a sort of downstairs area where electric guitars lined the walls and amps were everywere and we just tested out the merchandise (some of the amps were already plugged in and the manager knew Dean so it was cool). I don't really know how to play a guitar. I know some of the basics but I still can't play very well, so I just listened to Dean play. Over there I learned where Metal gets it's sound. It's a special kind of amp. I found one of those amps plugged in and pointed it out to Dean and he strummed some metal with random lyrics and I added in a couple bits of lyrics as well. We had alot of fun


Well, now that I've had a pleasant break I'm gonna try to finish up "Hulkalicous". I just have about three or four more panels left. I completed the Hulk TF sequence and Josh ain't taking being green too well, so I'm gonna throw in some random destruction as well as a reaction shot of Bridgit and Tsetsuka. Then some finishing touches and it's done. I appologize for not being able to meet the ETA set in my last journal but I should be done with it soon. It'll be worth the wait, trust me. Be sure to check the project list periodically to see my progress.\/ \/

Ok, I know I've been procrastinating alot on the Hulkalicious pik. I've been having difficulty on the muscles, but I'm almost done with it. I can't upload another WIP becuause it might spoil the comic. My best ETA for the pik will probably be either late Friday night, or Saturday afternoon (Central time).

The hunting spree didn't go too well. Even though I made sure that my applications were still on file, no one had any openings. You'd think that after a year and a half of unemployement that someone would hire you, but nuuuuh...probably more like:

Potential Employer: "d00d, that guy hasn't had a job in over a year, we can't hire him! All that experience must have gone down the drain by now!"
Me: ಠ_ಠ "...No it hasn't. I've been trying my darndest to get a job. Schedule that interview and I shall prove to you that I can still work."

1.Negative - I have mild anti-social tendencies. Not bad enough to not be able to function in a social environment, but bad enough to where I'm lonely even though I have RL friends. I spend most of my time in my room. If the Wi-Fi there goes out (it likes to go in and out *waits for it to come back so I can post this*) or I'm just plain bored, I go to the library hoping I'd run into one of my friends on the way. I also don't talk a whole lot compared to when I was a kid (back then I was so talkative that my parents would practically beg me to shut up).

Positive - I should just go out more, actively seek out my friends and hang with them (or at least call 'em and invite them over to my room. I should also try talking to people a bit more (just not too much ).

2.Negative - I sometimes make impulsive decisions. It could be why I wound up in Wisconsin in the first place. But don't get me wrong, I really like it here. Sometimes I buy impulsively. Even though it's good for the local economy, in some cases it's not good for me lol. Plus I have the habit of never going into a store unless I wanna buy something. Even if I go to a store just to look (which I don't often do), I wind up walking out with something cheap unless of course I find that I don't want anything that they sell.

Positive - Despite these habits, I check my account balance regularly and make sure I don't go into the red. I don't like checking it, but to me it's a necessity.

3.Negative - I resent authority figures, I'm a stick-it-to-the-man type of guy. However I do know better than to not show it when they're present or I'm in the workplace (if I ever get there again that is). I'm also somewhat wary of the police even if I didn't do anything wrong and I don't have a record.

Positive - Because of this, I like proving myself to an authority figure. Suprisingly enough, it actually helps my work ethic. If someone, anyone says I can't improve, I go all out to prove them wrong. Well, I think it’s time I put the ranting about dA’s recent changes aside and talk about something else. So I’m gonna tell you guys what’s been going through my mind recently. Sometimes I wonder about myself…where my life is going. I try to get a job, try to earn back the respect of a certian friend as well as to make ends meet better doing so. But every place I go to is not hiring. I guess everyone's feeling the sting of the bad economy (even dA ಶ_ಶ ).

So tomorrow, I’m going on yet another hunting spree. Go to places I’ve applied to, make sure my applications are still on file, even…*gulp*…go to an employment agency. Wish me luck everyone, and if you’re the mystical type like me, please send some positive energy my way as well.

And I’ll also be opening up commissions starting tomorrow.
