Well I didn't really enjoy this year's NDK as much as I would have liked. I was trying to avoid the obnoxious teens most of the time and is was closterphobic. I miss the NDK's of the past.

On another note, I've been so busy as of late it's not even funny. I'm pressing my luck being up so late typing this. If you hear of a zombie attack at a local preschool, you'll know it's me cause I didn't get enoguh sleep, so I turned into a zombie and ate some kids.

Can't wait to get a break over Fall Break. And I'm going to a wedding on Halloween! I'll be in Gothig Lolita attire!

I had a great time overall. I loved wearing my Aerith cosplay and especially the soot I had with Eurobeat King. I uploaded a few pics he got of me and put links up to all the rest if ya'll are interested. It was also my first expirience staying at the con itself. I really enjoyed that expirience cause it was nice to have all my stuff there and a place other than the bathroom to change, and it gave me somewhere to go and something to do since the con was so small.

Unfortunately the con was unorganized. I ended up running my doll panel twice, because they didn't have the Sat schedule posted till 11:30 on Sat! Also the AMV contest was delayed by an hour. But i think it was 50% the hotel's fault and 50% the con's fault. And it was under new management.

Other than those things, I had a blast. I also made some plastic resin rings. I unfortunately only sold one, but that's ok.

Did anyone else go and maybe see me there?

First of all one of the guys that I work with at the Rock Wall quit cause he's in jail, so now I have to help cover his shifts. This is kinda a win/lose situation cause I work full time and I do aftercare certian days as well so if I have to work at the Wall on those days, I work a 13 hr. day. But as we all know econonmy is a suck fest so I don't mind geting the extra monies.

Secondly I just finished and mailed my AMV submission into Anime Wasabi's AMV contest. I only entered 2 "new" ones and entered 3 that I had entered and gotten into NDK's previous contests. I also am going to be hosting the BJD panel again this year which should be a lot of fun! I've also decided to try to sell some stuff at the con this year. I'm going to be makeing plastic jewlerey. I should be getting the supplies to make it this week so I'll have to see how that turns out. Hopefuly it works out great and I can earn a few bucks!
I also will be dressing up as Original Aerith again, Tomb Raider, and for a shoot with some friends I'll be Karin from Naruto. Depending on how things go I may also be doing a steampunk outfit. I already have most of the wardrobe pieces I just need to make spats for my boots and an addition to a skirt I have (which if I'm lazy I might not even have to do that). I'll prob put up a concept sketch if I get it the way I want it of what the outfit is going to look like. I'm going to attempt to be an Airship Pilot/ Navigator. And is going to be my mechanic.

All of that has keept me pretty busy so I'm trying to hang in there, but things are kinda crazy! Hopefully it will all pay off and I can't wait for Wasabi cause I thought NDK stunk this last year.

I have been extremely busy with my new job as a T.A. at a preschool. I'm lovin my job there I think the worst thing that has happend is I did end up getting pink eye for the first time a couple weeks ago, but lukily that's over. I am pretty nervous cause E.C.K.E.R.S. is comeing with is a company that rates everyhting about you classroom down to how many seconds the kids wash their hands. So that will be pretty nerveracking!

Halloween:
I'm excited to be going to 's halloween party tonight! I'm dressing up as Laura Croft Tomb Raider and I'm makeing pimpkin bread (as we speak) so it should be fun! ^_^

New AMV:
I've finally finished a new AMV called Taceo. Taceo means nothing in latin and I titled it that because the song I used is Nothing by Holden & Thompson. Its a really interesting song cuase there are words, but you can't understand them so I was able to be pretty creative with the content. I used about 35 animes, so it's packed pretty full of stuff. Please watch it and let me know what you think! ^__^

Well I am baisically done with my CC Aerith top. All I have left to do is the purple bow. I even put the flowers on and everything. I'm really excited with doing this cosplay cause it's so casual, cute and awesome.

I'm exprirmenting with how I want to do the skirt, and I'm def not enthused with haveing to do the detail work on the blue trim, but I have enough time to get through it so hopefully everything will go well!

Can't wait to acutally get my cosplay done and be able to wear it! Photoshoot central! I hope I get it done before all of the pretty spring flowers go away so I can get some great pics! (or else I guess I'll just have to go to the Botanic Gardens!)

I was a lot more social, and thus made a lot of friends! Since the con was so small, everyone kept on running into eachother, so it kinda forced us to be social! LOL

I hosted the Dollfie panel, and it was a great success! The mina runner of the con wanted us to do it again and to do 3 doll panels next year! I'm very excited about everyhting that happened at this con, and this next week, I'm probably going to go into con withdrawals, but I'll get over it... Hopefully.

Ok I work at a rock wall right? Well... I don't really climb a whole lot. Kinda a waste. A regular climber that comes in a lot, Ryan, was makeing fun of me and Josh cause we never climb the wall. Well that motivated us to climb. So I actually did a bit of climbing. I didn't realize how much I really like it!!!! I'm going to be doing a lot more. It really worked out my arms, which is really cool, and it gives me a goal!

I finished a Roxas cosplay for my little sis's best friend, and It looks pretty good if I do say so myself. She'll be wearing it at Anime Wasabi which is this weekend! I'm pretty excited for it. I'll be dressed as Aerith again, just cause that is such a great cosplay. I made the jacket shorter and I actually have a pony tail extention, so I'll have the correct hair length! I did cut my hair though, so the curls won't be as long as they were in my first coslay, and the bangs will be a bit shorter, but it'll still look ok... I hope. I also got some fake flowers to put in my basket and they are so pretty! I think I'm gonna tape a little piece of paper to the basket that says 1 gil lol.

I'm also hosting the Dollfie panel. Yay! For those of you who are interested, and can go, it's at 12pm on Sunday March 16th.

*Update on drama*

Well I was able to talk to Brandon more about the drama and he was the one that decided not to be friends with this chick cause I guess she was being really rude and mean to him. It turns out that she baisically found out that we were going out, and she's uber jealous about it. There is a girl whose's brother comes in to rock climb a lot, who hangs out with this girl and I guess she said that me an Bradon were going out. I'm still not sure about how things will get resolved now, but we'll just have to see what happens.

I saw Step Up 2 with I am so takeing dance lessons cause that movie is so hot. The guys are very smexy. Brandon is so learning how to dance. Cause that's hot.

One of Brandon's really close friends might not be his friend anymore because she heard a rumor that involves him and me.

I don't know what the rumor is and neither does Brandon, but he was told that it came from the rec center.

The only people that I'm aware of that know about me and Brandon being together from the rec center are Josh and Christy. I told Josh that we were just friends, cause I didn't want it spreading through the rec center. So I don't think it's him, cause he thinks that we aren't that way.

Christy is too old to have connections back to our high school to have started the rumor and she's a really good friend of mine.

I have never had a rumor started that involves me in it.

And Brandon is loseing a friend over it.

I hate sleeze balls, why do they have to mess up people's lives?

I didn't always want to keep my eyes closed, cause I truly was on the edge of my seat wondering what was gonna happen. I did see all of the best parts though, cause I opened my eyes when I could hear a lot going on. But at the times where there wasn't anything going on I keept my eyes closed, or I swear I would have barfed all over Josh. The moster is really cool, cause you really don't know what it is, I couldn't describe it very well cause it's so different. I will never see it again for fear of barfing, but it actually kinda liked it. It seemed really real.
On the other hand, I hate things that make me wanna barf. I just wish they had toned down the shakeyness cause I would have extremely enjoyed the movie had the movie not had such an influence on my upchuck reflex.

Well The guy from work (Brandon) who "confessed his love" to me always ditches out on me when I want to go do something with him. I have also realized how big of a nerd Sephiroth is, so I decided to remain friends with him.

Ok now comes the really recent stuff:
There's a new guy named Josh at my work that I've been getting closer to! He's the most polite, funny, sweet guy I have ever met. We started getting really close these last couple of weeks, watchin movies at eachother's houses, seeing I am Legend. We both love to read teen books, we love to watch the same kind of movies. He would always text me wanting to know what I was doing. I really started to feel a connection with him. This last week we hung out Mon and Wed. Then Thurs night he tells me that he's still not over his ex and that on Tues she has contacted him and made him think that he might still have a chance with her. To top it off he said that he alsmost asked me out when we hung out on Mon. But this stewpid bitch has to get in the way! (excuse my french).

Of course I played the "I'm not a Bitch" card and told him that he should go back to her if he really wants to. I thought that the girl he is talking about cheated on him, but I found out that she really didn't, that was another ex. But she is supposedly seeing another guy right now. I don't know anyhting about her, but I guess she's prob an amazing girl, cause he's an amazing guy. But it's killing me inside. I'm never good enough for any of the guys that I've dated. They always find a better girl. Except for Sephiroth but (I hate to say it) he's exactly what I don't need. Is all I desurve ugly anime neards? Well I guess so, cause everyone else found someone better than me.

I also saw Enchanted! That is a really good movie. I thought it was funny, good acting, and a good story. Ya'll should see it if ya haven't!

I got Guitar Hero III!!! Me and Sephiroth beat it on co-op career mode today! It was awesome.

I'm also growing out my hair so it will be as long as Aerith's ponytail, cause I'm going to be her again next NDK! Yay!

If you do something wrong or say something wrong, they go either into a rampage or start balling like crazy. If you don't clean up things the right way, they get extremely enraged. If you say anthing to try to defend yourself about how nit-picky they are, they start balling and wining like razy saying that you don't appriciate them. Then you know that if you push them ever so far, they may run out on you and end up hurting themself. Or never come back.
If you say that they are doing something inefficiantly, they think that you're saying that they are a stupid person. If they tell you to start cleaning something you start doing it. Then they say that you're cleaning it up wrong. If you say that it doesn't matter how it's cleaned up, just that it is being cleaned up, then they torment you for talking back to them.
Then when they talk to you about what you're doing wrong, they spend over an hour talking about something extremely insignificant. Then when you say that you get it, they get extremely upset that you're trying to shut them up!
How could you get through the day.
Then you finally crack and tell them what you see them doing to you everyday. than they go into hystarics and say that they are stupid and that they don't desurve to live. And even though you know that they're being exremely over dramatic, you still comfort them and let them know that you care. Just in case they really go over the edge.
You spend countless nights listening to this person scream, yell, and wine. Hopeing that they won't drag you out of the room so that they feel like someone is listening to their problems.
How could you sleep.
Then the next morning, they are happy as a brid actung lik it never happend. So you feel in the clear for a second.
Then you do something wrong again. This time it isn't the same thing, but it's just as insignificant as last night's. so it starts all over again.
This time it may not even be something you did. So you try to moderate the rampage. And in that attempt, you just make it even worse than it was.
It all starts over again.

If you live by me (and we find time) you could come over and watch them. I'm also going to have to see about putting them up on Youtube. But I don't really like putting them on Youtube (or the internet in gerneral) cause it has to be super low quality, and then the timing can get off.
But I also can't wait till NDK, cause is comeing! also, I just always get excited, cause It's so much fun!
Also, I'm cosplaying as Aerith and Olette. I need to remake aerith's armor and her hair tie. And then I need to make Olette's socks. I guess I prob won't have time to make cosplay outfits for my dollies, cuase it's in about 4 weeks. Oh well it doesn't really matter!

http://minako55nz.deviantart.com/journal/14136719/ Sun, 12 Aug 2007 20:04:11 PDT 22 year old woody died yesterday from a freak long-boarding accident. He worked with me at Olive Garden. I only knew him for about 3 weeks, but it's so hard for me to deal with it.
On the first day that I met him at work, when I was getting my stuff ready to go. He made it a point to talk to me and to get to know me. Everyday he saw me he would say "hello beautiful!" or in his immitation of a British accent, "ellow!" He was so nice to everyone, and everyone at Olive Garden is takeing it hard. A lot of my other co-workers were a lot closer to him than I was.
I made a hemp friendship bracelt at my Trails job, and I was talking to Woody about how different that job and Olive Garden is. I said, "That's the difference, I make friendship bracelets at my other job!" and he laughed and said, "Well one day we'll make friendship bracelets here!"
That is never going to happen.
I've pretty much made it past the crying phaze, but it's still gonna be a sore spot for me.
I don't know exactly how the accident happened, but I do know that it made his brain start to swell up. They had to take out a piece of is brain to relive the huge amounts of pressure in his head. He was also in a drug enduced coma thoughout all of this so he didn't have to feelany of it.
He died doing what he loves best. He's definately in a better place, and God knows best. But tragedy like this still hits hard.
If he was here right now, he would be saying, "hey check out this scar on my head!" cause he always loved showing off is battle scars.

Ok well I'm a lot better now. I had some pizza with pepperoni, canadian bacon, and ground beef. Then I watched Aladdin (which always puts me in a good mood) and then I ate some brownies, so I'm definately feeling a lot better!

I finally got their meals out to them, and they started getting really picky. This lady ordered 2 meatballs on the side, and they didn't have sauce on them, so she wanted me to get sauce on it! Also one of the girls said that her chicken tasted fishy! Also, this other guy was scarffing down a lot of expensive beer! They talked to the manager, and were really mean to her, and she ended up giving them their whole meal for free! This guy got so much expensive beer for free! It was like they were trying to cause trouble, and there as nothing me or the culinary team could do about it! It made me so mad!!!!!!!
other than that, Olive Garden it awesome!

Also, you can get the 2nd Death note movie at Animeniacs now!!!!!! I totally bought it, and it's frekin' awesome!!!!! They are also selling J-Pop there! I hope that they decide to sell J-Rock there too, they do have some J-Rock, but only like LArc-en-ciel (which i already have!) T_T
I'm so ready for a new job! Not only are my hours getting cut, but last night a little monster kid came in. He freaked out and wanted to come down when he was only like 2 feet up! Then he finally got over his fear for like 2 min and went almost all the way to the top of the rock wall (which is 30 feet tall) and he started screaming at the top of his lungs!!!!! @_@ after we closed up and left, all the managers were all like, "Are you guys beating up kids?" I was like I wish I could have!!!!
Ok, on a totally opposite note, I'm totally in a old movie phase right now! I watched The Ten Commandments, The King and I, and South Pacific these last couple of weeks! I'm such a sucker for those good old movies!

I totally didn't know that our school gave us Good Friday off, so I came to school, wasted $5 on parking, and $ on gas, just to find out that the school was closed! I also had rushed there cause I was late from working a shift just before that!!! Oh well, I didn't mind being able to go home and relax! I'm takeing Space Planning, Intro to Auto CAD, Digital Design, Interior Design Rendering, and Color Theory.
Easter:
I love chocolate bunnies!!! ^__^ My mom was so nice, and got me this really awesome copy of Alice in Wonderland! It has the original illustrations in it! I asked her to get me this one copy of it that I saw for about $8, but instead she got me this really fancy one! I love her so much!!!
Doll:
If you haven't seen my new deviations I put up, I just got new green eyes for my doll! I LOVE them in her!!! I also will probably be getting a DOD boy to be her boyfriend (after I graduate from collage that is).

Well my family always drives everywhere, we never take planes, cause we're freaks! So we left just before the big blizzard hit! We had clear driving up to Disneyland, and no problems at all. Then we got to Disneyland after 3 days of driving and we spent 3 days at Disneyland. Then we went to my grandparents house which is about 3 hours away form Disneyland. Then we spent Christmas there, and left to go to Arizona to spend a day with my Aunt and Uncle. That's when the problems started happening. After we spent a day in Arizona, and were ready to leave to go home, it started pouring rain! But we left anyways and made it to Albuquerque. We stayed a night there, and we were planning on waiting the storm out there, but we left and made it to Raton. We were snowed in for a day. Then on Sunday, they said that they weren't sure when the pass would open!!! But it finally opened and we made it home! Raton is really boring! (no offence)

I changed my avitar, and I like it a lot, and check out my home page, cause I changed my Webcam! I also put up a bunch of pictures of Emma, and I may put more up, so check those out!!!
