(I'm doing characters from the screenplay I'm writing for Screenwriting class. So... Yeah.)


Arc
1) I think he's named after my friend Dana. Maybe?
2) Arc was first written (with a totally different name btw) many many years ago for a text role play on animeleague dot something forums. As with all forums and threads, that rp died when I joined it. Warren was a little upset.
3) He went from a little whiny to really whiny. From a cyber technic to a street urchin back to a cyber technic. He's a lot less abused now than he was when I first wrote him, which makes it not much better that he's kind of a whiny brat. I also had to de-gay him, which well, is hard. You know, for me.
4) Arc's biggest problem is that he doesn't know how to deal with people. Instead of explaining, he will just *do* things.


Mikael
1) His original name was Maker, but I changed it to Mikael when I was going through a world building phase, where a Russian name would implicitly make him an outsider.
2) Mikael was first written as an antagonist in Arc's backstory, the leader of a small gang who hates Arc for being more useful than he is.
3) Mikael started as a combination of Scorpio from Thief Lord and my stock blond guy character, though his aesthetics included heavy vitilago, the skin disease that makes albino spots, inspired by my taekwando teacher's kid. His character was originally cruel, abusing Arc and throwing Arc out of the nest. But eventually, Arc leaving Mikael became the story. In the old stories, they used to basically raise a group of misfits. Now... that just seems kind of dumb. Mikael's personality is now kind of cheery and sarcastic, sharp. He was surprisingly easier to de-gay than Arc.
4) Mikael likes to pretend Arc means nothing to him, but Arc seriously damaged him. Yet he has an unfailing belief that Arc can make anything right.


Sera
1) The conventional "Sarah" became "Sera" through my world building phase.
2) She was originally one of Arc and Mikael's group of misfits. Combined her with Jax, who in the Dirgia timeline was Arc's mentor and old flame. (Yeah, gay.)
3) Sera started off as a little girl on the streets learning how to be a prostitute. (Yeah, i don't know either.) When I changed the story to Arc leaving rather than Mikael kicking him out, Sera was the only nestling left, and she stayed with Mikael as his support. Meanwhile, Jax was a revolutionist who took care of Arc until Arc broke his trust with crazy suicidal experiments. I changed Jax to a girl to 1) de-gay the story, and 2) have more girls in the story. Girl!Jax was too similar to Sera, so I had to cut one. I named Girl!Jax Sera.
4) Sera thinks that Arc and Mikael need each other too much to hate each other as much as they seem to.

1. fighting - so mostly fought ~Social-Defect and mostly lost, but it was hella fun.

2. form - i am made for recitals. piano recitals, m.a. recitals, whatever. forms were my forte. even though i took so long to learn a single one because of my absence from class.

3. boys - i probably wouldn't be in my current relationship situation if i had constant reminders of how dope i am over boys like sutton. and micah. okay, statutory rape. but not by that much.

This is mostly because I haven't written anything of substance in this journal for a while, really. First off,

I missed my AOC appointment. I was SO sure it was on Thursday. D: Now I gotta reschedule, and I still have no clue what elective I'm going to go for. I'm thinking Art 124B with ~Social-Defect.

Second off,
I'm working as a summer school teacher. And, yes, it's hard. These kids are the toughest group of kids I've ever met. Problems ranging from family dysfunction to ADD to gang stuffs. And being a short Asian girl barely older than them didn't help much, really. Yet, some of these kids are really cute. All of them have their moments, but some more than others. The one boy who keeps asking me to be his third girlfriend, not so much. But the time he asked for girl advice was. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Thirdly,
I'm out of a job come Friday, and I was planning on quitting Taekwando. Then I talked to Master Kim, who then offered me a job. Does anybody know a thing about tutoring little kids? D:

They've basically become the same character to me.

2) How old is he/she?
... Somewhere between six and thirty five, I swear. I've been thinking a lot about what's going to happen if they get married, but I usually write them as 16-17-18 year olds.

3) Is your OC a boy or girl?
Both.

4) What's his/her race?
From their surnames, I'd say they're both French, but for some reason pretty much everyone I've been naming lately has French names.
Seriously though... they're white.

Appearance

1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the real world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
None really. Except for when they grow up and become SUPRA ROCKSTARZ and have to hide themselves or else fangirls and bois will track them down and smother them.

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Hm, yeah, I guess.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
They're both really good at music, like, prodigously. Cadence is kind of plain; she needs a haircut. Dante's plain too, but he has the piercings.

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?.
They're supposed to be, BUT I PHAIL AT DRAWING.


Personality

1) Temper?
Cadence is easily needled by people like Solomon Belindo, who is the source of her problems with Dante. She's more patient with Dante, but every once in a while she'll blow up on him, indicating that a) she's a girl and b) not everything is all right between them.
Dante, on the other hand, is pretty cool tempered. Sol bugs him, but he lets Cadence take care of the emotions.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Cadence gets depressed because of Dante. Dante gets depressed because of Benji.

3) Leader or Follower?
Cadence is headstrong, and so is Dante. But they have one of those rare relationships where it's a give and take, leaving them generally on equal footing. Cadence is first chair though.

4) What is the main aspect(s) of his/her personality?
Does loving music to a fault count as an aspect of personality? Well then, Cadence's is obsession with music, and Dante's is obsession with Benji.


History

1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Both have parents, but only Dante has and older brother and sister. The age gap between he and his brother is ten years, between he and his sister is eight.

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
No. They're still going to high school. Later on though, they'll try to strike it out on their own. With each other, of course.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Dante gets gaybanged because of Sol and his big fat mouth. Does that count?

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
For Cadence, winning the competition in which they're to tour with their fav band EVAH!
For Dante, moments with Benji.

Yes

2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
Not at seventeen, because... well, because. Mostly because I don't know what a relationship is like myself, lulz.

Cadence does.

So I just got back from a week long trip on which I had absolutely no time at all to work on anything. So, first priority (before even math homework) is the final draft of this short story I'm working on for a scholarship. Riding on its tail is the totc2008 story. And, on top of that, the kinwayuu tournament. Compounding my pain is my virtual enterprise class, in which I am behind on projects, and my college classes, of which I am in danger of doing bad in. Standardized testing is next week, book report is due this thursday, and I gained weight from too much chocolate cake.

And I still haven't uploaded anything new.

See, I just got my license a week ago, and the only places I've driven up until today were routes I've taken a million times with my mom in the passenger seat.

Today, I went to Valencia High Schooll.


From my house, there are more than twenty ways to get there, I swear. Take Copperhill alllllll the way to Newhall Ranch and turn left from there, take bouquet to Newhall Ranch and turn right from there, take McBean to Newhall, McBean to Decoro... I was most familiar with the last route (having taken drivers ed at VHS during summer TWO YEARS AGO), so I took that. 1) I almost missed Decoro. 2) I missed the staff parking lot near the mpr and ended up at the student parking lot ALL THE WAY ACROSS CAMPUS. 3) Trying to go back to the other lot, I found out there was no left turning. :/ So I just parked really far away. But it's okay. I wasn't the only one.

At the stoplight on Newhall, Lynn? That guy was honking at me for turning to slow. Don't worry about your driving, you're good. :]

So I think I'm going to die this month. If not for my driving, for the writing things I'm working on. For a "best writing" scholarship contest? A short story. It's this: [link] only about half as long. Which is okay, because it needs revamping anyway. For English? Essays, like always (as well as a book report). History? SCRAPBOOK. Need to read for Pysch too, and actually do my math homework. Ohohoh, and the fairytale project. I wish I could do the scifi snow white I did in January for English, but someone picked it up. gave me good ideas though.
