Right now I'm working on a series of labels inspired by antique jars and graphics, mixed with fairytale themes. Eventually I plan on using them in a photo shoot. Keep an eye out I will be uploading images shortly.
I'm also starting the preliminary work for my three pigs wall heads.
I can't wait to order the glass eyes from my taxidermy supplier.

I'm soo excited, but I'm having a little trouble choosing a piece. I want it to be one of my smaller square pieces. I'm thinking, "Cheese Shop" "Cherry Tarts" "Fruit and Grains" "Chinese Dumpling" or something similar. Any sugestions?

This is a great three day event with over 6o juried artist including glass blowers, ceramicists, jewelers etc. There will also be live performances, music, food, activities for kids and more. I'm wicked excited about this show, The Gulu Gulu is a great Cafe.
(so far the date is Feb 2010)
I will be creating a ton of new work for this show, I have a million ideas brewing!

My parents are visiting next weekend!
I have not seen them in over a year, since they have been in Japan and it takes so much time and money to fly into Boston.
I'm so excited to introduce my mother to my new cat. She is also bringing me a bunch of Japanese goodies and art inspirations for me.

I'm working on a 3-d project right now that should be done for the Boston Ahts festival in Oct. I was going to have it done for the RISD alum sale but one of my casting ventures went horribly wrong and I lost about six months of work beneath an interpretable silicone mass.


Other than that I'm currently working diligently on updating my website, I figured it was about time I custom made my own site rather than just using the freeservers template.
I made a sweet html site in college but now I have to get used to breaking in go-live. I figure the practice will do me good.
