Christmas
I sent some Xmas cards 2 days ago. Should have done it earlier but didn't have the time, school was super-busy last few weeks. Hope they arrive on time! I also did some digital stuff I wanted to print on photopaper end send with the cards but I found out too late that my printer was out of ink xD Gonna post it here on dA tho.
As for my wishlist this Christmas, I don't have one. I'm just fricken happy that I get a rest from school

Holidays
My plans include: hopefully volunteering at the animal shelter aaanddd uuummm lots of reading and drawing I guess. Oh and yeah learning stuff about boats so I can take the test for a skipper's licence when I turn 16 in January. So I can drive my dad's boat in the summer hell yeahhhhh
Might go to Zagreb for a few days. I doubt it tho, 'cause I don't wanna go with the rest of my family (gonna use the opportunity to have the house to myself for a while) and it would be kinda stupid to go to ZG alone for a few days after they return home. Dunno yet, I'll see.

I've been drawing a lot in school as always and I have a ton of doodles to scan and pictures to finish and I still haven't started drawing that picture for I owe her. Only 3 days till holidays so I'll have plenty of time for drawing 8) Yess

Contest
I totally forgot about this. But anyways seeing as everyone (including me) was busy with finals I removed the deadline. 'Cos it's better to move the deadline than end a contest with 0 entries xD

Robots
YES.
Been obsessing over them lately.
Thought I'd let you know since I haven't posted any art to prove it yet. Once I scan everything from the past few months my LJ will be swamped with robots and Asimov characters. Yesyes I just recently discovered his awesomeness thanks to and I've downloaded a torrent with like 60 of his books and now I'm reading them yesss
I read all of the Foundation books and they were awesome esp. the first two (Prelude & Forward The Foundation) and I, Robot which was also awesome and I've been annoying everyone around me talking about robots and Asimov all the time.
YESSSS. obsessions they are the besttttt

I think that's it. Hm. Thought it would be longer. Guess my life isn't all excitement like I thought.

P.S. I forgot to mention one of my kittens died. One of the two kittens I found in the street 2 months ago maybe. He was called Luffy and he caught some sort of nasty disease. Something was eating his red blood cells. His brother is alive and healthy tho and he killed his first bird today. I'm a proud mom. They grow up so fast.

I will draw basically anything that is PG or lower rated. I still have no set prices, so please tell me how much do you think I should charge. I only accept USD.

How will this work?
I will sketch your idea, make changes if necessary, and finish the picture when I receive payment.
Payment -unfortunately turns out that PayPal doesn't work in Croatia (and besides I'm a minor), so you'll have to mail money to either my address or 's address in NYC (thanks Swift )
The price of the artwork has shipping included and you will receive your art even if the money gets lost in the mail or something.

It's a character design contest, and everyone is free to enter. There will be plenty of time and the prizes for the first 3 places will be drawn by me. If less than 6 people enter the contest will be canceled. I mean, there's no point if there are just a few entries, right?

rules & guidelines
-the goal is to create the best lion character
-the design can't be 100% realistic, 'cause stylization is an important part of character design
-create a design in your own style -that means you can't draw Lion King style or Madagascar style or whatever. I want to see your interpretations of the lion
-the design can be cartoony, of course, but still natural. That means it can't be a pink, flying lion-werewolf hybrid. There's a lot of diversity in lions in nature -do some research and you will see
-more entries per person are allowed
-write some info about your character. It doesn't have to be a novel -a few sentences is enough. For example -name, age, location, subspecies, basic personality concept (a few words will suffice)
-extinct lions are not allowed
-lion hybrids are not allowed
-anthro designs are allowed
-the artwork, the design and the personality must be your own
-a nice detailed reference sheet is not a must but it would be nice

deadline
