I thinkkk its 95% for marking, they are nominated, then on the 9th December, they will announce those that go in to ArtExpress.
Even if I don't get in to the actual exhibition, at least I know that I received very high marks for my work.
I'm so excited
and now I need to think of a 100 word statement of intent to go with it - as I never bothered doing it at school...

I still went to school and lasted untill lunch,
i also forgot my puffer, so i was walking around wheezing most the day.
my asthma usually isn't very bad, but today it sucked.
oh and silly me forgot to get photos of the storm at its worst this morning -_-

Anyway, I have uploaded 7 of the 8 parts of the HSC major work, i hope you all enjoy it
there being sent away tomorrow or something like that.
which also reminds me that i only have 5 days of school left. FIVE. chhyeahhhh.

it has been a while, i feel like i suddenly abandoned deviantart. but never fear, i am back. again. ha
my news is, i got a digital tablet for chrissy of the fat man in red and it was sweeet.
so i'm having loads of fun learning how to use it and discovering how much easier it makes almost everything.

anyhooo i dont have many more pictures, butl, by chance, on new years eve i was at my friend's house and in her kitchen the light was awesome, so i grabbed a few shots of my two usual models, carmel and el.
yes i need to find some new people to shoot, but its always much easier to just shoot them cuz im always with them ha.
anyways, ill chuck them up
and maybe ill do some more work soon.

btw, happy new year and merry christmas.

oh and also, mood is sad cuz my aunt passed away from cancer on the 28th December, her funeral was today (2nd Jan) so yeah right now is a bit of a sad time for me and my family.

and I'm about half way through holidays, and surprisingly I've been SO busy.
yet I've still have a few chances for some photography, and lately I've decided to work on self portraits a bit becuase not only is it easier to work with myself but it also means i can experiment with my shots and hopefully improve
So yes, as i said in the little blurb of the few I've already submitted; except a few self portraits over the next few weeks.

Hopefully during these holidyas coming up ill have more time to do a bit more work, i still haven't even got to get much good use out of my tripod. it actually still sitting in ~little-sunshine-girl's bedroom.

Also, the story i talked about in my last journal, i did really well with; 23/25
I'm verrryyy happy with that, for extension english...

Anyway; Good luck to anyone who has exams coming up, and to those on here that go to school with me aswell.

So i have come to the conclusion that macs tend to enhance the colours, truthfully i think there amazing with colours, but when on websites etc, they turn out different...

Anyway, I'm in the middle of my english extension story, where we have to write a response to one of four different quotes. There are two modernism quotes and two Victorianism. I choose the latter, and my quote revolves around the lack of emotion and more building on the facts of life.
I'm going to post some of what i have so far up here to see what you think :]

Trying to avoid the severe attention of supervisors, Victoria was attempting to minimise her frantic haste as she passed through the gates of the factory and made her way through the cavernous door like a yawning mouth, into the body of the factory.
Eric Higgins, who eyes missed little of what happened in his father’s factory was in the middle of his routine morning inspection of the factory floor, when he noticed a slight figure of a young girl hurrying to her place at one of the empty machines. She immediately sat down, and began expertly plying the threads. He also watched as a supervisor approached the girl and angrily confronted her about her failure to turn up to work on time.
Higgins knew that the girl would me docked a day’s pay for this misdemeanour, but he was immediately struck by the girls reaction. There wasn’t any. She didn’t raise her head from concentrating on what she was doing. It was if she either was ignoring or didn’t hear what the supervisor had to say. Intrigued, he called the supervisor over to him to ask about the girl.
“She’s a very proud thing, that one! She’s one of our best workers, otherwise I’d of got shot of her long ago. She gives herself airs and graces and keeps to herself.”

WELLLL heres a quiick update.
yeah i got my camera charger, xD was sooo good getting my camera going again.
and then i decided that i would finally get a tripod.
So i visited my freind tea towle (jack) at this work, at Harvy Norman and i got an awesome one which just made me even more excited.

So over the holidays, I've been taking a fewww shots and a couple of photo shoots. Tho nothing really set, just kinda been like, "hey el, i have nothing to do this arvo, feel like being photographed?"
"yeah sure"
"okay ill be up soon, find some nice clothes and ill come help decide what you'll wear."

so anyways, got a few pictures up, but school goes back soon -_-
and I'm so far behind on my school work I think i might as well just drop dead here and now.

OH AND i watched "ps. i love you" last night, and it is SO sad.
and funny. at the same time.
its amazing. completely amazing.

anyways thats me out, I'm gonna go start an assignment.

i think im gonna perish without it.

I ALWAYS leave it plugged into a power board. (usually its the only thing sititng in there..) and it has gone.
i never move it and it is gone.
i think im gonna cry cuz it will cost me another $100 to get another. ughhhh.
and my camera is flat, and its holidays and i have so many opps to take photos, and i can't
its pretty erable.


so with that done.
I do have new pictures.

as i result of Carmel having her camera. it isn't quite as good-a-quality as mine but i just ran the pictures through a bit of de-speckling on Photoshop and fixed the colours.
overall im fairly happy with them, and im not done with posting them up, i just can't be bothered putting the others up atm.

schoool is FINALLY finished! I'm so excited. Well technically we still have next week, but thats all just practice for graduation and Stuff for SFX (year 11 & 12)
ANYWAY.. because it I am now basically finished school and it is almost summer I'm gonna have a lot more chances to submit some stuff and give my camera a workout. ha.
so yeah you can expect some more work from me through the next few months.

and i have just got back from thh beach and I'm as red as a tomato.
