Im just getting back into DeviantArt after a pretty long break from submitting so Im sorry if I appear to be spamming you with new photos, dont be angry im just making up for lost time

Ive decided to save up for an DSLR now I have a job an' all any reccomendations? Something around the £300 mark. I want one for better action shots but still want a good macro mode and ideally live view so I can go back to my compact camera ways occasionaly, so not alot to ask for really...

But good things come out of bad situations, Ive got myself a 10megapixel Pentax Optio. Its not quite as pretty as my old one but after dithering around for around half an hour choosing between this and a Nikon with 8.2megapixels it eventualy came out on top...

My first submissions from my new camera both have borders around them, will someone please tell me if this is annoying or not? Ive got into the habit of putting some sort of frame on each photo I take but Im not sure if people like it.
Help?

You wouldnt believe the amounts of pictures Im taking right now, its mostly for the school yearbook.

But I especialy love it when I get to see Izzy because she is just a joy to be around and to take pictures of e.g -
