Well, I had a great Christmas, didn't get anything that will help with art or anything, although I did get a 75-300mm lens about a week before Christmas. However, I'm now in Wyoming, and as such, I'm planning to take some amazing photography with lots of snow and some mountains. Keep watching my gallery for more. Anyways, in this journal, I'm doing my first 20 features. It was really fun to see some of the work put forth by people on here. I saw some really amazing stuff, and, to be completely honest, some that I wasn't too sure about. I wasn't able to feature everything I wanted to, as I wanted to stick with my plan of 10 seasonal deviations and 10 random ones, and so if you submitted and weren't featured, just know that these are my personal favorites, maybe not the ones others might have chosen, and this doesn't mean I hate your work, it just means I felt like these were more deserving. I'm not sure if I will be doing open submissions in the forum again as it was more tedious than I had expected, but I guess I will see in about two weeks when it's time to start looking for stuff for the January one. Oh, and just so you know, I originally did a write up for every single thumbnail, but it's long enough without them, so I took them out. Wasted work, but it's whatever.

Update /

I just found out I was featured in this journal, and as such, I'd like to thank for this. This is my first journal feature(that I know about), so it's kinda cool. Having received this though makes me want to start featuring people as well, and it seems like a great way to meet more people and have them see my work. Probably starting next week, I'll begin featuring people in my journal and see how it goes. As you have probably noticed(if you've ever seen my page before), I made me a new customized Journal CSS, based off of [link] by =badboythemer. I really like it and hope you guys agree.

Subscription

Well, I finally added some new stuff to my gallery. Looking at getting more into the photography aspect of art, although I'm also working with more tshirt design and music stuff too. I honestly love that picture of Grace, and I think the one of Andrew isn't half bad either. These were all custom effects I did, no downloaded presets or anything. 100% my work. Which is probably why I love them so much. Only things that don't belong to me are the models, and the logo font I use.
Tennis is over for the semester, so until January, I have quite a bit of free time, except that I'm now working on a theatre production, but still more than I did have, and I will be focusing more on my art hopefully.
I doubt anyone will really read this for a couple days considering I only have like 10 non-club watchers, and of those I think only 5 would really pay attention, but maybe if I'm lucky more people will start spotting my work and watching me now. One can only hope.

For a year
Nobody was willing to buy me one so I had to just get one on my own

New Camera

Well my camera finally arrived yesterday. I friggin love it. For those of you that don't speak to me on a regular basis, its a Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT. And its friggin sweet. I've been messing around with it a lot, but I haven't been able to use it to its highest potential yet. As soon as I get a bit more money, I'm going to be buying a 75-300mm telephoto lens. Can't wait. I visit a lot of National Parks, so I will be providing you guys with some beautiful quality images.

I've also begun doing a lot more in Terragen, so I will probably be uploading some work from there in a little while.

And I'm contemplating buying a subscription. Having one before probably didn't help too much. I think I'd get a one year one though. It's only $30, I make that much in two weeks, and thats if they're really slow weeks. I'm not sure if I want to buy it before or after the telephoto lens though.

If someone had been kind enough to buy me a DA subscription, I would have had a nice Christmas themed CSS journal

So for Christmas I got a Wacom Bamboo tablet(never thought my parents would get me that), and a guitar case and Medal of Honor Airborne. But the only thing thats really relevant here is the tablet. I'm hoping to put it to good use, and if so you can expect many new pieces from me on here. We'll see.

My Birthday & 4 New Pics

So, tomorrow's my birthday. And you know, my DeviantArt subscription is going to be running out soon. And I don't overly want to buy a new one myself.

So anyways, I have a bunch of new stuff I've done. I did a little animation for Breach Studios, a video studio company thing that I am starting with my friends where we are going to make satirical videos about our school and things that are happening, and then release them on YouTube periodically.

Also, I went on summer vacation to Utah and Wyoming and whatnot, and I got some amazing photos at our cabin and in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, and I was planning on uploading them all, but so far, I've only uploaded one of them. I need to put borders on all of them, but I'm too lazy. I suppose I need to get that done before school starts. I've had a bit of a laziness streak lately.

So basically, if anyone wanted to renew my DA subscription for me, that would be friggin awesome and I'd love em forever and feature them in all of my journals and whatnot

Also, I uploaded 4 new photos from my vacation. Hope you guys like them.

This is all kind of new to me. I guess I might try to figure out how to put some CSS or whatever in here later. But basically, I did three render requests for a guy on GR and he bought me a 3 month subscription. I did a pretty crappy job on them too. I tried to do them good, but they were really hard ones. But anyways, so now I'm gonna be subscribed until the end of the summer I guess. Pretty cool.
