Don't ask. I usually never know what to write in these things cause it really would be just random ramblings xD

So, my current mood is rather thoughtful. Been reading a book called The Host and even though i'm not very far into it, one of the pages written in the book really did make me think. Nope i'm not usually one for talking about "deep" stuff, but I thought i'd share it for some reason instead of informing you about my day, and how unproductive my summer has been etc!

Wars had raged over the face of nearly every continent. Sanctioned murder, ordered and viciously effective. Those who lived in peaceful nations had looked the other way as members of their own species starved on their doorstep. There was no equality to the distribution of the planet's bounteous resources. Most vile yet, their offspring - the next generation - had all too often been victims of heinous crimes. And not just at the hands of strangers, but at the hands of the caretakers they were entrusted to. Even the huge sphere of the planet had been put into jeopardy through their careless and greedy mistakes.

That was my big (hardly little) thought for the day

Took the last of my exams last Wednesday thank the lord! I completely failed Sociology, although I think most people felt that way after the absence of my rather fat lazy arse of a teacher for most the year anyhow, i'm hoping my ICT and English went well.

It's quite strange actually having all this free time, what to do? Well, i've been working on a new video based on the Twilight film. Even though I know it's been done many times before I kinda wanted to do it in memory of a late friend too I gotta say it seems to be looking good so far.

Also had my birthday last week which was amazing despite having the flu. My friend Mike surprised me for the second year running! I'd decided to go bowling Friday evening and he just suddenly walked through the door with my other two mates casually, you would not BELIEVE the look on my face xD. I got some really lovely gifts, some gorgeous gifts from Thailand (Eddis family), Eddi himself got me the Sims 3 pre-order and a lovely little shoe ornament which I can put my rings in <3, some clothes, money for driving lessons, perfume, a massive slab of chocolate, yeah the list goes on. I spent the actual day with my boyfriend and Mike which we decided to go to the Chinese Restaurant in town which is sooo delish. Then spent the evening with the rest of my family at another restaurant and celebrated my dad's birthday aswell as mine because we both share it.

So now i'm 17 I can actually get my drivers license, fat chance of that happening soon is all I can say! I had a driving lesson with my dad which was absolutely hilarious. There were a total of 2 cars in the car park and I had trouble dodging them let alone what i'm gonna have to dodge when i'm on the road XD. I pity the poor instructor that will have to give me lessons, but this is definitely gonna be my main focus over the summer holidays.

So, Christmas was absolutely brilliant I couldnt've asked for it to be any better which was mainly because of the fact it was the first Christmas I ever got to spend with my boyfriend here. I got some lovely presents too and was thoroughly spoilt, some of them included jewellery, a box set of DVDs, make up, a piano book and lots of others. I'm extremely grateful!

New Years I spent with my family at my aunt and uncles which was good fun as usual, the fireworks and everything.

One thing I havn't mentioned in my journal is my transfer to college and Sixth Form, somehow we didn't QUITE work out but right now i'm just gonna see where things go

My results were more than I could have expected and I am so so pleased with them. I was absolutely stunned to see i'd passed my Maths with a decent grade! I'd also passed every other subject with a C and above aswell as managing to get 2 B's in Science, B for English Language and an A for English Literature :]. I'd never been so relieved in my life, managed to get 2 bottles of champagne and a cake because of it too and not to mention my parents have bought my ticket to go to Manchester again for Eddi's 21'st <3 can't wait!

I also decided to come back to Sixth Form College even though i'd sworn against it but there you go things change.

Although on a more serious note, a few weeks ago I lost another friend of mine and this one I was particularly good friends with at one point..

RIP Matt, you will never be forgotten and I don't think it really is goodbye. I'm pretty sure you're up there watching over and making sure everyones ok, like you would do even when you were here :]

I had a very eventful birthday and was thoroughly spoilt..not to mention I had an awesome birthday party round my house in a gazebo tent despite the pouring rain D:

It was a shame I had an exam on my birthday but atleast it was only Citizenship ^_^ and what a way to make my day, they gave us study leave too which I was extremely happy about but also sad because I know some of my friends will be leaving and possibly me too. After signing shirts and having photos I walked into town and met Eddi who happened to have some flowers for me, like I said I was very spoilt! Not only did he give me those I also got a Louis Vuitton purse from him, I can honestly say I have never in my life owned anything designer and I love it ;D I almost passed out when I realised how much money he'd spent on me. We had a nice meal in a Chinese then went to see What Happens In Vegas which turned out to be good I guarantee it'll make you laugh.

At the weekend I had yet another surprise when I got up on Saturday morning when I got up and opened the door to Mike! Who by the way is my friend who lives up north and I don't often get to see. Turns out everyone in my family knew aswell as Eddi xD plotted it all behind my back but it was a great surprise.

Then there was my party which we had outside I asked a lot of friends over along with family but they tended to stay indoors. There was a bit of a tiff with me and Eddi but it was soon sorted. Apart from that it was a great night :]

I also managed to get a new digital camera from my parents which is awesomely funky and orangeee ;DDDD

LOVE IT.

But moving on i'm about halfway through my exams now, think I have about 6 left.. I best get revising. Cannot WAIT for the summer, so much to look forward to! I'm trying to keep positive with all the exams going on, I've just booked my ticket to go to Manchester for 5 days and I finally get to visit Eddi up there which I can't wait for. But before that I've got my school prom, bought my dress now for that too :]. Got some tickets for a gig, gonna go see The Hoosiers, Scouting For Girls, Elliot Minor, Royworld and some other bands. Can't wait for a long Summer, it should be great!

Sooo here I am, on a Friday night and pretty much bored shitless. Boyfriends in the big apple so I miss him lots :[ bit crap I can't speak to him but he's back tomorrow so I'll be happy then :]. As for this week I think I can safely say it's been pretty crap, the stress of all the work I have left to do is getting to me, I have (mainly) my dad nagging at me when I really don't need it, and certain people in particular pissing me off. So yep all in all not that brilliant.

One thing I have decided upon since my last blog is the whole college thing and in the end iv'e decided against it. As much as I don't like my school the subjects are better to choose from and atleast I'll still be with friends. Only problem with the subjects I want to do is that if I wanna choose Psychology I have to get B's in English, Maths and Science >.< it's the Maths I'm worried about although I don't know if I'll do that well in the other two either. Ah well at least I have a back up plan if I can't take it but fingers crossed!

I'm off out tomorrow to town with Jade which I'm looking forward to a chill out, sure i'll feel better when I know Eddi's back, I think it's made me realise how much he cheers me up XD

We tried on all these wigs, and went round all the stools trying on stuff. I ended up buying a nice bracelet, some fingerless gloves and a nice top in Punky Fish there. Then we went to Covent Garden, and guess what? More shopping! ^_^, my specialty. There were these people dressed up like statues and whenever you gave them money they moved which was hilarious because this pirate kept hinting Poppy to kiss him and she hadn't even given him any money, she went back for more later 0_0. We also went on the Carosel there which was a laugh! Getting a makeover was fun too even if the girl did do my eyeshadow a bit over the top o_0. After that we went to the London Eye, I really didn't know how high it went, because i'd never been on it before, and it was funny because this little girl kept waving at us in the other pod so we gave her nicknames lol don't ask we're mad, we called her McFLurry, Fleur, Lauren ^^. Her brother was watching us too so we kept blowing kisses and he kept laughing and took a picture of us XD oh yeah lmao! By the time then it was about 6 so we got the underground to Harrods and it was HUGE. We all felt really out of place there, it's so posh it's unbelieveable, you'd have to go there to see what I mean, I bought some sweets just for the bag LOL. So we got the train back munching on McDonalds, it really was an excellent day, thanks so much Pops mum for takin us all out! I'm off to bed in a bit i'm really tired, i'll add some pictures maybe in a minute or tommorow morning.
