Soooooo, I've made a website for my comic!

Oh well.

So, after staying up way late for the past three days, I finally finished reading all of Katekyo Hitaman Reborn's 182 chapters that are out. At first, when I started reading it, I wasn't too sure if I would like it, because, let's face it, it's a pretty weird story, but after a while it got totally addicting. I'm now in love with it. ;D

Hmmm, and favorite pairing (hahaha)Well, I just adore Yamamoto x Squalo, just because they're awesome and their personalities just make me smile, though Yamamoto x Gokudera reeeeallly makes me happy too. ;D Yamamoto, Squalo and Hibari are my two favorite characters. <3

I really love Gokudera too. Tsuna bugged me at first, but now that he's not the snivelling little kid he was in the beginning, I like him a heckuva lot better. He's still whiny, but much better than he was. Reborn is strange. I LOVE adult Lambo, since the kid version of him is annoying. Dino makes me laugh when he's clumsy. xD Ippin is a little strange too, and I don't really like Bianchi or Kyokou's big brother all that much. Kyokou herself is cute, and so is Haru. Mukorou is awesome, and so is Hibari (I like that pairing too) and I like Chrome a lot. But Squalo, Yamamoto and Hibari are all my favorites. <33

...okay, now that I've rambled on for a while...I'm going to go read some doujinshi's that I just downloaded, because I'm a big weirdo.

Hey, has anyone heard of the new HBO TV show, True Blood? It's based off of one of my favorite vampire series, the Southern Vampire series by Charlainne Harris, and so I'm really excited about it. It was supposed to be opening in like, November, but the date got pushed back because of the writer's strike in Hollywood, so then they said sometime in January, and now I have no idea and I really wanna know. Anyone by any chance have any idea when that might be?

I also have a ton of artwork ready to be scanned and colored, including two of the requests, and they've been starred if they're done. I only have classes from 7:45am to 10:00am tomorrow, so I pretty much have the whole day and weekend to scan and color. So expect more later.

Thing is, nobody seems to want to watch me.

I don't get why I can't seem to get anybody to like what I draw. I'm probably just feeling sorry for myself, but I try so hard to draw good things and make it look nice, and then nobody looks or comments or favorites or anything. Maybe a few do, but those are just my friends, and while I love them to death for it, I want other people to too.

I know I shouldn't be drawing for popularity, and I'm not, but I just want some recognition for what I've worked my butt off for.

Grrrr.

And in the midst of all that, I'm still working on the next few chapters from The Ebony Prince(ss). I have up until chapter six typed up, but I want to get more done before I post anything else. So I think I might start posting the first few chapters of my actual completed novel, Luck Be A Lady.

Summary:

Lucy Harrison is normal.
Really, she is.

But the bad luck that has been following her since birth seems to be getting more frequent

Then the appearances of four mysterious people-namely a Scottish rogue, a ten year old mind reader, a handsome prince, and an unbearable new professor-change Lucy's luck from bad to worse when they announce that she is the reincarnation of "Lady Luck."

Well, somebody bought it for $16.99, not including S&H (which was about $12.00, I think) and so I packed it up, sent it off, and thought I was done with it.

Then I get this message from the buyer saying that I put it under false pretenses because apparently they thought it was new and still in the box and how it didn't have any extra strings or a pick or anything. Which, by the way, were still in the guitar case itself.

The freaking picture shows it's not still in the box! Why would you think it was still packaged, when the PICTURE, which was OBVIOUSLY taken at my house, shows it OUT of the box????

And I think they're going to give me a bad review, and that really sucks. I feel crappy.

SO. FREAKING. AMAZING.

It was one of the BEST weekends EVER.
Everything was just amazing.

We started off by taking a 9am train from Union Station in D.C. to Penn Station in NYC. It was about a three hour ride, give or take. Our hotel was the Millennium Hotel right next to Ground Zero (SOOO NICE), but they said we couldn't check in until about three-thirty, so we checked our bags and my best friend (her name is Jessica)'s dad and her uncle went off, and Jess and I went off to get some lunch, and then we just walked around for a bit exploring. After that we met up at the hotel again and were able to get into our rooms (which, by the way, were on the 43rd floor...I am not a big fan of heights) and they were SO COOL with all this extra stuff inside. After we'd relaxed and messed around with all our free stuff, and gotten changed, we took a cab to Times Square, and went to an underground Apple store, where Jess got her new iPhone (all of this was part of her belated birthday and Christmas gift) and then we went to St. Patrick's, which is a big, gorgeous cathedral so Jess could get a St. Michael's medal. Then we went to T.G.I. Friday's for dinner and then we went to BROADWAY (!!!!!) and saw the Little Mermaid.

It was INCREDIBLE!!! The scenes were GORGEOUS, the music absolutely stunning, the actors and actresses were magnificent. And the best part of all? They were all on HEELIES. You know, the shoes with wheels in the heels? That's how they did everyone underwater. It may sound like it wouldn't look good, but it was SO COOL and it looked fantastic. Now I can't WAIT until the cast recording comes out, which isn't until February. -cries-

All in all it was AWESOME!!

Well, except for the fact that when were sitting in the theatre waiting for the show to start, there was this really overly chubby girl in front of me that looked maybe ten or twelve, and her mother and grandmother. I swear, she was the brattiest, snottiest, most annoying kid I have ever seen. First she whined that she couldn't see the stage (we were about 3/4 of the way back). Then she cried about how she was hungry. THEN, after she'd eaten eleven Hershey's kisses (I counted), two chocolate-dipped rice-krispy treats, a brownie, and some M&M's, she moaned about how thirsty she was (that part was actually DURING the show, after which I told her to sit down and shut up. In a nicer, more polite way, of course.) THEN she whined about how she wanted souveniers (I GOT A TEESHIRT!! YAY!!). AND THEN (this one really had me going) when the play started again after intermission, the girl's mother was whispering something to the grandmother, and the girl leaned over and said "SHHHH!!" really loudly and obnoxiously, and the mother turned to the daughter and said "sorry," and THEN the girl said "SHUT UP! I CAN'T HEAR."

...I just about died.
I swear, if I had a kid, and she did that, I would have been "That's it, we're leaving, you're grounded, get out now."
And if I talked to my mother like that, I would have gotten slapped. o_O

The stupid strike just ended late last night, but since it lasted almost twenty days, they decided to push back the Dec. 6th opening of the show and haven't set a new date yet, but they're looking at the beginning of January. JANUARY. When I won't be here to see it.

My best friend and I have been planning this for MONTHS. It's her birthday gift from her dad, and we had it all worked out. And now they're saying they might not open until January. I leave for college in a different STATE December 31st. This completely sucks. I'm so upset. Why can't they just have opened the same time????
