I went and visited a friend in Ballina(NSW) yesterday She lives right around the corner from some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, and they have totally awesome surf XD
Unfortunately for me, by the time it was late enough to go swimming and not get burnt to the point of looking-like-a-tomato the surf had died down. So for a thrill we went rock diving instead It was so much fun! But I ended up with an earache *must take earplugs next time*


Has anyone seen Final Destination?? It's meant to be really good- I was going to see it today with some friends, but then found out it was horror and ..decided not to.

I've started a new story, it's intended to be a short story but may end up a bit longer than the typical short story (not that I know what the typical one is).
The Lady Of Ambrosia is on her way to a second chapter- I know it's been long in coming but I've been busy.. and forgot about it. Completely forgot it until I looked through Word Document on my computer in my room.
Now the reasons (yes. there a few) for this are, in no particular order:

- The house is going back on the market this weekend, and we've been cleaning and clearing, and renovating a little so we can hopefully sell it this time. *looking for a house near Brisbane anyone??*

- I have been very sidetracked with songs I'm working on. I'm not very good at distributing my concentration evenly, and with the new equipment I've got I must admit music has had more than its fair share of attention.

- And (something that ties in with the previous point) I'm writing a song to go with a very beautiful poem I found here on DA. I've pretty much got it sorted out, but I need to see about using a friend's studio to record it.

I feel odd looking at my gallery and seeing how much time gets left in between the things I upload..
Anyways, I think I'll have something to upload in the next couple of weeks...I hope.

Now I'm just wishing for a regular storm- not probable looking at the weather lately.

Anyways, I was going to post this journal the night before Bronte died but I procrastinated had other things that had to be done.
Keyboards and Guitars - About a week ago now I was finally able to go out and buy the keyboard I've been planning on for half a year I was having such a great time in the music shop and was going to buy a couple of music magnets but ran out of money when I spotted a gorgeous guitar The keyboard is a cinch to play but the guitar I'm finding a bit of a challenge. Not to worry though, I LOVE a challenge when it involves music. So far I've figured out a Kelly Clarkson song and part of a Brooke Fraser (though not much). I was going to get a cello next, but after playing with a friends' violin and seeing how easy it was I might just go for one of those next If I can't find a way to conquer language- I wanted to learn Aramaic and Hebrew but couldn't find decent curriculum- then I'm content with conquering instruments. Though one of these days I really should look at some theory.

Glandular Fever - A trip to the doctors recently has bought up the suggestion that I have glandular fever at the moment. I've been ridiculously tired and have had swollen and sore underarms, so today I had a blood test which will prove one way or the other if I actually have it. It's such a drag. Even though I'm used to not getting out much, now my social life has been even further restricted. Oh what fun *rolls eyes*.

Cinnamon Doughnuts - I've been craving cinnamon doughnuts all week! I had one a few days back and now I want more I'm so fussy though, I only like fresh ones from Doughnut King. Supermarket doughnuts had a tendency to be soggy, and in result taste pretty bad. So tomorrow I think I'll make a trip down to The Plaza and get some ^^ Only I have to figure out a bus route to get there..

At some point during the last week mum and I went out to Carindale and stocked up on period dramas. We got Wives And Daughters, Sense And Sensibility, and Vanity Fair. All of which are several hours long. Wives And Daughters was rather interesting, and I loved Sense And Sensibility, but I'm not so sure about Vanity Fair. While I loved the costumes and manners I wasn't entirely keen on the story itself, though Vanity Fair has a way of hooking one in 'til the end.

The air tastes and smells like playground dirt! There's this massive dust storm going on outside, the whole sky has gone a reddish-orange. It's really awesomely-funny-yet-not because I can't stop coughing! Half the house was open until a few minutes ago when the storm really kicked up.
At least it's not as bad as the dust storm on the news last night- the citizens of Sydney are currently viewing an all red skyline. Completely red. See?

Life;
is the same as ever; ooh wow, big surprise there. I'm still getting headaches, I still can't work, and I'm still trying to get around school work- so glad it's holidays
The doctor started me on some new headache prevention meds call Endep. It apparently used to be a depression drug but now that there's better options out there it doesn't get used for much other than headaches. It seems to be working but it's a little difficult to tell through my cold. Yep a cold. I avoided one all winter and now that it's hot and sticky again I catch a cold. Ironic? Perhaps.
We (my family and I) think there's an improvement in my all around health, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Weekend markets at Manly (next suburb over from mine) are getting really popular. It's really cool to go down and see what's on display; I use the word display because I can't buy anything
I'm thinking of opening up a little clothes stall once I've bought all the stands and a canopy. I've already got the products in mind to sell, I just need a couple of tables, stands, a bit of money, and a headache free weekend now and again. I think it'd be really fun. All I've got to do is work out a schedule between classes, learning cello and teaching piano, and then the stall. It really shouldn't be all that hard if I can space things out a bit.

I'm 18 in a week!!! Finally I'll be able to sign things up under my name and not have to pull my parents into it! Yes, I'm more excited about that than being able to go clubbing and stuff. All my friends think I'm weird for it, but it will be really handy for starting that stall, finishing an apprenticeship, and just doing stuff in general. What I'm not looking forward to is certain younger friends nagging me to buy them smokes. *sigh* but hey, that's life

Yesterday we had the hottest spring day on record by three degrees, it was awesome
I'm so going off the Wellington Point one day soon ^^ Wellington Point is one of the only places in Moreton Bay left with sand since the council pumped Brisbane River sludge into it to deepen the river or something. Anyways, when the tide is low you can walk out to King Island, a small island that's really fun to race to. Though good luck running all the way, you'd have to be uber fit - which I totally am not There's a fish and chip store right near the beach, but I really think they should put in an Ice-cream parlour as well lol.
And for some strange reason I find I'm not as sick with headaches in warm weather as I am in cold. Odd but awesome XD
Anyhow I'm meant to be doing school work, cause I'm finishing yr12 through homeschooling this year hopefully, but I need to get back to it if I'm ever going to achieve that.

Also one of the little girls, Abigail was wearing her mums shoes and dancing to absolutely nothing. It was so cute
So the youth ran the service tonight cause they did this awesome white-gloves-in-fluorescent-light performance, and I was put on kitchen duty when I volunteered to do something. I had no idea what I was supposed to do, but apparently I succeeded. I originally wasn't going to go because I was really sick with a headache, but decided to go anyway cause I had told a friend I would watch her perform, so I rocked up and after 5mins of being there I was asked three times 'I thought you weren't coming tonight?'. Heh, maybe I should have called and let them know in advance that I had changed my mind *jks*.
I only listened for half the service because I'm not a huge fan of the man preaching tonight, so instead one of the girls and I went into the bathroom to giggle and do make-up lol, it was fun.
Later when we got to Maccas I unexpectedly ran into my older sister who moved out about a month ago. It was really cool, I miss having her around so much. I sponsored her flat mate $2 for the 40hr famine, cause that's pretty much all I had other than $20 I need next week
I left a bit earlier than usual cause my lift home had to go, so yeah I had a good time tonight.

All up it cost me $490 - a totally awesome price seeing as the screen cost more than that a few months ago. If any of you Brisbane dwellers are curious about it, I got it all from Ex Gov Computers in South Brisbane.
They had this awesome laptop where you turn the screen around, set it down, and it becomes a graphics tablet ^^ I wanted a tablet but they didn't have any there. The guy serving me said he recently got a Wacom for his daughter from Aldi, for like $89 or something. Sooooooo I'm off to Aldi in the next few days

Jess is down from Cairns at the moment!! I met her at the airport for once and was a little confused when I didn't see her dad, sister, or boyfriend waiting there as well... thought I had the wrong gate for a sec there, but no they were just running late.
We went into the city a couple of days ago to discover the Daily Planet. Okay so she was already in the know, I was the one discovering. The Daily Planet is a totally awesome little comic store tucked away on a busy street. They had everything from watches and pillows and posters, to key rings, wallets, manga/anime/comics, and costumes. It's so incredibly awesome I bought a watch designed for the manga Nana, it's really pretty. Lol when my little sister saw it she wanted one too so I got her a different Nana watch today. I forgot to ask if she still wanted it but she loves it so it's all good ^^
Anyway I spent the day with Jess again, it was really fun but I wasn't feeling too great so I don't think I was really good company. It was great weather to walk around in, cold and rainy, but it doesn't take long to warm up walking around South Bank and the City. I got some pretty lacy fingerless gloves and a poster, Jess is heaps better at refraining to spending than me so she didn't buy anything. *cries* why can't I remember to think about the difference between 'need' and 'want' instead of how nice something is??

Anyhow, I have two roles- the first of which is the Queen of Narnia. Now I haven't seen "The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe" or anything else Narnia since year7 (6yrs ago) and that was the first time I saw it! lol.
Seeing as I totally suck at drama- I go because it's fun- it's a little difficult to get the charm and lack of charm in the right places of the script. But oh well, I have an idea of how to tell what I'm doing wrong and when.
The second role I have is as one of the wicked step-sisters from Cinderella. We have three people for this role, and it's meant to be a monologue but we're mixing it up a bit so it isn't so much. We took our outfits to rehearsal today, and gosh I had no idea how hard it would be to do the zip on my dress up. It's a ball gown that was given to me when I was about 8 I think (of course it was way too big then). Now I am in no way overweight- actually I only just stopped getting the anorexia questions a year and a half when I put on a little- but I could hardly breath in it! It's an absolutely beautiful dress, that needs to go to the dry cleaners, and I'm glad I still fit a bit.. but it'll be interesting on the night when I have to move around a heap

So I've probably talked here about my chronic headaches condition thingy before (yeah, really intelligent name for it don't you think? ), and now we seem to have found a possible reason for it.
Last month I went to see a doctor who specialises in hormones, seeing as hormone related headaches are apparently quite common in females. She sent me off for a couple of blood tests on certain dates and scheduled another appointment in a months time- a few days ago. Anyway I went and had the blood tests- the nurse was really good, I hardly felt a thing- and waited to hear from the doctor.
So when mum and I went in the other day the first thing the Dr. pointed out was my iron levels. I've always been low on iron, it showed in tests from 2006 and 2004, but apparently now I'm anaemic.
The lowest level of iron you'd want is 60, just as you start feeling sick from it; my level of iron is 19. Hmm, that could explain some things (and here I was thinking I puff easily cause I must be really unfit ). And yeah, I'm low in a couple of other things as well but not as badly. The blood test said my hormones are slightly off too, but that could fix as I take tablets to fix the other problems.

So now I'm hoping I can be a normal crazy teen around the time the year is out Maybe I could get a job again, or finish piano lessons, or go into another hairdressing apprenticeship. I'll be thrilled even if the only thing I can do by the end of the year is go back to playing futsal. The headaches don't really stop futsal, just my colossal lack of energy

A reason to get up lol. When I got out there she and Max, the sheep dog next door, were whining through the fence at each other. I hated to break up what seemed like a wonderful conversation, but the neighbours tend to like sleeping in on Sunday mornings. I kind of growled at Bronte (haahaa, no not literally) and she came bounding back to the veranda to give my foot a great big sloppy kiss. You have no idea how grouse that felt half asleep. Rembrandt sleeps on Chrissie's bed, so I sat down and played with Bronte and Shake for a bit before deciding to take Shakarug (yes one of his very many nick-names. the newest being pompom) for a walk.
I was amazed at how many geese were down the waterfront! There was at least 25 of them sitting around together, scaring off small dogs that walked past
Due to recent rain and flash flooding (did anyone from Brisbane see how bad Morayfield was flooded?!) the path was still under in a couple of places. Not badly though, but the puddles I stepped in thinking they were shallow turned out to be ankle deep. lol I intend to throw my jeans in the wash later today because the bottom of them are still wet with muddy water.

Ah I keep writing the beginnings of songs and stopping before I finish them. I have so many ideas swirling around in my head that I don't know where to start, or continue, or edit, or finish, and it's driving me nuts! I have 2 songs that are almost finished and 3 that I started writing in the last week and a half. I really have to get my own computer that I can plug a yet-to-exist-keyboard into, and a music notation program that won't freeze the computer when I'm using it. The ones at school did and it really sucked if it happened while you were trying to Save.

It really is good but my parents don't approve of it, so I can't go around speaking of how good the episode was or how awesome is the way it's so far been played out.
Sooo, here I am writing about it to a group of friends who may not even know what the series is. Lol.
I know there's probably many a tv series based off the stories of King Arthur and Merlin, but of all the ones I've seen this is the best.

It's set when the both of them are younger and Arthur is still a knight and Merlin is his manservant.
Merlin doesn't know much about magic yet but was given a book on it by the man who took him in to his home in Camelot, as Merlin isn't from there. Magic is forbidden in the kingdom so he can't openly practice, yet when he first meets Arthur he despises him and uses small tricks here and there to gain the upper hand when arguing/fighting with him.
After Merlin saves Arthur's life from a vengeance seeking witch in the first episode the King dubs him Arthur's manservant.
I missed the first 20mins of tonight's showing but there was a knights tournament happening and one of the contestants was using magic to control the snakes on his shield- who he commanded to bite his opponent when he was close enough for no one else to see.
Merlin witnesses the snakes movement when in the knights chambers or something and reports it to Arthur who makes him swear it's true before taking the matter to the King. Arthur was made a fool out of before the gathered people because he took the word of his servant and the knight who survived the attack who was to be the witness was killed by a second bite while unattended by the doctor. Merlin is fired, does not give up, la de dah (I'm sure you're all not interested in the details) and in the end Merlin learns a spell to bring the snakes to life while Arthur is fighting the cheating knight before they were called out to attack. Everyone sees that Arthur told the truth, Arthur kills the said knight, wins tournament, and is in the good graces of his father again.
Anyway, the preview for next week is that Merlin was caught practising magic in public, but for some reason Gwen (Arthur's girl is named Morgana or something, Gwen is her servant) is accused, thrown in jail and sentenced to death. In the end it shows him coming forward an saying it was him. And now I'm going to try my very best to be home at 6:30 next Sunday night because I really want to see what happens

Drama group is on Wednesday! I'm attending the homeschoolers drama groups at the moment because I was invited and it is seriously fun
I've been given -for some play they're putting on for the parents- the role of the White Witch from Narnia, when she first encounters the humans who've come, but it's just one young boy there. I haven't seen Narnia since I was in primary school, about five and a half years ago, so I'm having lots of fun trying to reinvent the White Witch according to my minuscule memory of her. ^^

It was originally for my sister, but my nurse mum took one look at my toes and switched it around. Anyway when we got there an ambulance was waiting out the front, and some poor old man with an oxygen mask was being carted out to it. So needless to say the doctors were running a little behind time. (the poor old man )
While in the waiting room I saw a primary school friends mother, I haven't seen anyone from his family for about 4yrs and was surprised when my identity guess was correct (I hate to say it, but I didn't recognise her at first sight ). So mum and I sat talking for a bit before she was called into her appointment. Mum went back to her book on midwifery but I spent some time staring at the ceiling and the posters around the waiting room. But it turns out they weren't running as far behind as I thought.
My Doctor asked like 3questions, took a look at my toes and moved me into another room to remove the offending nail pieces.
So here comes the painful part.
He stuck two anaesthetic needles in each toe, gosh that hurt..till it went numb of course
It took a bit for it to numb enough for him to work on it so he went to look after another patient while I sat around imagining all the pain I would feel after the anaesthetic wore off. He took about five minutes but in that time I'd already scared myself silly with images of how I'd be limping around for a week in pain
Anyway, so he pulls out his scissors to pull my nail out and I turned away..I may not have seen it but gosh I felt it. It hurt so bad and I made way too much of a fuss. I didn't scream or anything, no sirey, but I sat on the bench repeating the word ow for quite a bit. I couldn't feel the rest and so I watched. It looked a bit grouse and it made me think just how strong the Doctors stomach must be for him to be so practiced at it. When that was all done next came the other toe, it wasn't as bad. Once mum was at the desk to pay I went straight out to the car- with the wrong keys
I can sort of feel my toes now, not a pleasant sort of a feeling but no where near as bad as I imagined (so far).
Lol, I just hope I don't have to have it done again any time soon; never again if possible.

I looked up the Australian Copyright laws for Music the other day.
I looked at two different sites and they said practically the same thing, problem is neither were very clear.
It's an easy thing copyrighting music in Australia, but I'm not sure if by "sound recorded" it means I can record it on my camera, slap a copyright sticker on it and be at peace that it's safe.
I'm not sure I want to go with an agency that serves royalties either because it costs money to sign up, and that is just one thing I don't have right now. I'm going to spend some further time looking into it, make a few calls and so on to find out a couple of things that just weren't quite clear in the manual on the sites.

They damn well should have told her if they had a problem with something she was doing.
It isn't even freaking legal for them to fire her without a formal warning!!!! Or is it "allowed" for council workers to be let off for no good reason at all. Though that would fit with the whole picture of the council - local and state.
By law (at least non-council workers law) a trainee or apprentice is supposed to be given 3 formal warnings, that have been issued and noted to the trainee dealing peoples, before they can be fired.
Yet, I don't know if this stupid state library is gonna play nice. It's damn well hard to say by their actions!!

Ahh, the weather's been stinking hot lately! I don't mind hot weather, but I do when it turns to oven heat weather. I've been swimming on Wednesdays at the local pool with my H.S. friendlies, and so far by some miracle I haven't been burnt yet yay.



I pulled out my art book again today *woah* and started working on Progress Report again, which will eventually get another name. Soon as my creative naming cells awaken from their ever deepening slumber.
I have some good ideas for a couple of drawings, but I have an issue with how to draw one and how to fit the other onto my paper. I will have to downsize it in my head to fit it into my sketch pad lol

The lengths of my hair look great! They match my hair extensions..but my roots look hilarious now
They're a peachy pinkish-red colour - that alone is funny - but looking at the ends then the roots is extremely funny
I really don't mind that, but my hands (I hate the gloves) and skin around my neck and forehead have been stained, and it just looks like a really bad spray tan .
Lucky for my it's only a washout so my skin won't stay stained for long



Last week I coloured (didn't work) and cut my little sisters hair.
The colour wasn't strong enough to actually take to my sisters hair, so it's only ever-so-slightly darker than before, I'm going to redo it but with a dif brand I think.
The cut started as a trim, but I hadn't cut hair wet before so it went a little shorter than expected. Everyone thinks its a good cut though- I'm just dreading what it will look like if I straighten it- and she's happy cause her hair went curly with the amount cut off *is relieved*.

Okay so they took M*A*S*H off tv, it was a blow but I lived. BUT, then they went and took Friends off too! Now what am I supposed to watch?? Other than the news that was about it, nothing else really interested me. Lucky for me M*A*S*H is back on, and I hope sooner or later Friends will be to (even though more than half of the people I know don't like it).
Heaps of new shows have started now to. I watched Lie To Me the other night and really liked it. So You Think You Can Dance is always good when it starts but as the competition goes on I find it tends to drag. Life On Mars look really cool too, so I might find time to watch that - not that time should be an issue, I've had too much of it lately.

I've had so much time on my hands that I've been on Yahoo Answers almost every time I'm on the computer (a lot), wasting my time answering questions and voting undecided.

We didn't get the aircon fixed while there because of the steep prices, so we drove back in maddening heat. Real fun that is.
I drove for 3hours out of the 14 to let mum rest a while. I would have driven more but I was incredibly sick of having people honk and me for going so slow. Driving the road sign speed was fine with me but apparently not with the NSW government. The legal speed limit for a learner down there is 80k p/h. It totally sucked!!

Anyway so Jess called and invited me to Sea World two days before I was due to leave Sydney, it took some asking, but I was allowed to go
My mind is so fuzzy from lack of sleep that right now I can't remember exactly what I wanted to type, but I'll give my best shot at it
So I was picked up, the car trip was about an hour long, and then we lined up at the gates. Yes, shortcutting the story. It took a while to get in, but not as long as it usually would have taken. I think about half the people there were already inside. So we slapped on some sunscreen, paid for our tickets, then the real fun began. I think. Jess and I headed straight for the Pirate Ship (Jess correct me if I'm confused) and sat right at the back. So much fun!! Not as much as the Corkscrew roller coaster would have been, but the line up was so long we were going to go back later. Later we didn't feel like going on the rides. We also went on the Bermuda Triangle. I expected there to be more splash, there should have been a lot more splash in the ride, but it was lacking.
Anyway we went around looking at the animals, and the aquarium.
We saw the Seal Show (don't know the exact name) and the Dolphin Show (the exact name).
They were both so cool but I liked the seal show better
We had doughnuts and soft drink for lunch, and the best pies around for dinner. We almost got run over in the parking lot cause someone wasn't watching where they were reversing!
Anyway I got home, showed mum the plushies I bought (she just shook her head at me), and transferred my camera pics to the computer. Of course the battery had to die half way through. But I found another way to get them on ^^.
The biggest joke of the day was 'stupid fish'.
Jess's favourite line. And no, we weren't calling the animals/fish stupid...that's what they were thinking about us. No seriously, you should have seen their expressions!

Leise was smart enough to have orange juice with her breakfast but me, being the health nut I am, chose something else, Lemonade. Mum had to have something with caffine in it, and though she denied being tired she admitted it was to keep her awake.
By the time we got here mum was totally over car travel; Lisa had driven 2 hours on her learners; and I was sure that if someone could die of car sickness, I would be it.
Sleep last night was limited for everyone, three of us were sick, and those three may have kept everyone else from sleeping peacefully. Sounding like a wonderful holiday so far isn't it?
Well today was spent recuperating so tomorrow is looking much better for everyone.
But oh the drama! Lol the aircon in the car broke down 2hours out of Sydney, and unfortunately for us it was a stinkin hot day.
The windows were open for a bit with a hot breeze coming through, but it was better in the hot breeze than in a closed oven.
So that was most of the adventure of yesterday.
I spent today reading and watching videos, willing my stomache to calm down, everyone else went out shopping for a bit and went for a walk around the park outside Granny and Pops' house.
Tomorrow we'll see mum's aunty and after that it's anyone's guess what we'll do ^^

So we cleaned the car out today, took ages.
I cancelled a couple of appointments today because I didn't end up needing them and spent two hours vacuuming the car and wiping down the windows.
I didn't really mind apart from the awful heat.
When I get into cleaning mode it becomes something of an obsession until I totally run out of puff.
So we'll see the grandparents late tomorrow night, for the first time in a while. It'll be nice, I'm hoping their grumpy old dog is in a slightly better mood than the last visit . Though I'm not sure they've still got him, dad thinks they have but I don't recall seeing him last time when it was just mum and myself staying with them.
I hope so, losing a pet is really difficult.

However I went a bit far and ran into it - usually this wouldn't matter - but our tyres are old and in need of replacing and the curb was metal and sharp, the tyre burst.
So we were sitting there on a slightly odd angle and had to call dad from my mobile..not so great cause I have little credit left. Everyone who passed gave us odd looks - only to see the L plates and either smile or laugh. I think someone even took a picture. Yeah, it was pretty bad. A whole strip of the front tyre was on the road in front of the car after we moved it from against the gutter. I felt so bad, we don't have a lot of money until the house sells and now I go and ruin a tyre on the car. Fabulous. My parents were worried this incident would scare me off driving but it hasn't; just pulling over to the curb in front of post boxes.

Almost finished my Christmas shopping. I know - I should be long finished by now. I have all the presents for my family, but I have a couple of friends who aren't the most helpful when it comes to shopping for them. Another downer is one of them has a birthday in just over a week as well! Kinda sucks. I've know them both for years and yet I can't shop for them. I wonder what the hell I've been doing the whole time I've known them. . The first one I've got part of a present for, but the second so far doesn't have so much as a card. Lol I really don't want to do a Christmas x Birthday present for them, but I get the feeling if my sister can't help me in time I just might have to.

I was smiling til I got home and found my dog had been having fun with the contents of my bin again...he likes tearing things up.
So I went for a drive yesterday in the automatic cause we were lending the manual to a friend.
I really enjoyed it and it was probably better that I used the automatic first- I had enough of a time remembering which road rules to use where without the gears distracting me.

My dad cleared everything off the computer a few days ago to install Windows again. I lost everything!! I had a reasonably long story on it that I'd been working on for a couple of months - I hadn't written it down on paper and now I pay the consequence. I also had quite a few pieces of artwork I haven't uploaded to DA that I've lost the originals of, now they're gone without a trace. Joy.
It's tragic but I guess I know now to get myself a memory stick.

So far we haven't gotten around to looking at all the Christmas lights. It's a really big thing every year and we usually go with friends, but so far we just haven't. I'm hoping we do go, one way or another, because there's some truly spectacular displays each year.
We put the tree up yesterday, sad looking thing.
I spent over an hour just untangling all the branches to make it look decent so now it looks the best it has in years. My little sister and I were very pleased with the results until we stuck the top part of the tree on and found it wouldn't stand straight...so now is looks like dying fury twig overweighted with decorations. It'd be more amusing if we didn't have to correct it every time we have an open house.

We've got the house on the market now, it may not be the best time to sell, but we need to.
We've got to downsize cause this house is huge and we can't afford it anymore. My only problem with moving to a smaller house isn't mabey having to share a room, but where would the piano go? Mum reckons we'll send it back to grandma and just keep the keyboard, but the I hate playing keyboards- especially if I can be playing a piano instead.
Lol, I think I'd miss my room if we move. It kinda goes in an 'L' shape, it's different, but I love it.

Anyway, mum wants the computer to check her e-mails. Dad's in NZ so she's probs got a few she needs to reply to. So journal stops here.. Oh one more thing. I went to Harbor Town yesterday, it's like a big shopping complex with all the stuff that wasn't bought in the main stores so it's cheaper..some of the time crappier, but it's really fun. Santa was there going round in a deer-less sleigh, so I decided to be ten again and have my picture taken with him

I went to COCB graduation today to watch some of my old school buddies complete their long awaited last day of highschool.
I haven't seen most of them since year7, kept in touch but haven't seen them, I was thoroughly surprised at how many of them knew who I was. And in my defense - I look almost nothing like I did in year7! There was some great speeches and some tears from one of the presenters, but in all it was a great day.

Last night was the big Halloween fest in Manly, and instead of being there to participate (which I never do) I was cutting a friends hair. ..Now I hadn't cut anyone's hair before, so I was really nervous about it, but she was insistent on it. For the first bit, getting the bottom layer even was....a challenge, but I got it. I was fine with the rest of the cut, including the layering, but I think I'm gonna watch my sister get her hair cut and ask about the shaping around the face. That was hard. Lol, I used my mum's fabric scissors, blunt as they are compared to salon scissors I still managed to cut myself I would have several times had the been sharper.

My job search isn't going as quickly as I'd expected. I guess I expected it to go quickly because I got my first two within a week of applying. I've talked to some of my friends and they've said that's not the norm for most places, especially small work places.
So for the holidays I'm going to be doing a calender stall at one of the major shopping centers. *so getting the Garfield one*
After the holiday period I'm going to go back and take this job searching a little more seriously. If all else fails I'll see about working at Subway again or see if my dad's offer to work in his workplace is still valid. From what he said, I think it's somewhat of a receptionists job, but not exactly. Don't get it? Don't worry, I know I suck at explaining things.

-Mixed messages; Get told to do something one day and to leave it to the next time I'm at work, and then get in trouble when it comes for not doing the stuff last time.

-My boss was more than ready to hear the complaints the others had about me, but had no time to listen to any explanation or defense I had for myself. Or any complaints I may have had about them really.

-Apparently I wasn't doing things properly either. I could be doing something exactly how I've been told and still get huffed at for doing it wrong.

-I got to do hardly anything but cleaning all three days of the week I was there. They were full 8hour days, yet there was never enough time to get the cleaning finished. Unfair much? How about the fact that they got touchy about that too. I wasn't the only apprentice- bottom of the ladder? Yes. That doesn't mean leaving everything tedious to me, especially if they had a problem with the way I did it.

-Looked down upon. I don't know how many others get this problem, but younger than everyone else by at least 4years I got talked down at. I'm not stupid! Sure, I may not have used a lot of intelligence at work, but that doesn't mean I lack it altogether.

Gosh, I'm so glad I'm through working there. Get this too- I was warned that if there was one more complaint about me on a Wednesday I would be given a formal warning. Wait...isn't that pretty much stating the warning itself? I was also handed the card that "There are lots more people out there who want this job, and if you can't do it properly, then they may be given that chance to have it." Wait a sec. A threat? Not quite. A motivation? Mabey it was meant to be. But there is certain types of people to say that to, and certain types not to. If they couldn't see that I was one not to say it to, after working there for 9months, how can they truthfully say they knew me? In turn, they couldn't really say how I was coping. Actually, they probably didn't care. 'It's a tough industry kid, toughen up or suffer for not'. No thanks.

Now I will ask you to excuse the bitchfest, but I can't say I'm sorry for it.

Funny thing is- they're only shells, there's no wiring and no possible way for them to work. Wouldn't it be somewhat funny if they had been taken? I think so.
We had this woman in today who was nothing short of a talking box- one that couldn't be turned off. She had an opinion about everything, she didn't push it, but made it excruciatingly clear exactly what she thought. I kinda liked her though, it was my first time meeting her and I generally give two or three times meeting someone before I form a firm opinion of them. I know that sounds a little judgmental still, but if I talk to them enough (or if they talk a heap) it's not that hard to have a certain way of thinking of them.

Anyways, I went to the spring festival in Manly the other day. It was the last day so there wasn't much there, ended up walking back to Wynnum and catching the train to a friends house.
A lot of people have been saying how good it was, but after seeing it for myself I'm not sure I fully get what the fuss was about. I couldn't even find any fairy-floss!

As of next week I'm going back on the allergy diet. So long delicious meals, hello plate full of meat and vegies. It's not all that bad, but it rules out things like Spaghetti Bolognese. So to make up for all the things I'll miss while on it I've been stuffing my face with sweets and foods with herbs and spices. Ok, mabey not stuffing - that sounds piggy. XP

OMG, the lights just flashed off and on again. I don't think we have any storms fore casted..unfortunately. Sydney has, I'm so jealous *jks*

The Superman Escape is awesome fun! But the plastic thing of him on the back looks more like it clinging on for dear life than saving ours.
I hadn't been on it before so that's why I mentioned it. It goes from 0-100kms/p.h. in two seconds, but after the first two turns it gets boring.
My sister bought me a DVD of 'the Chasers', we've watched about 5 episodes already and it's hilarious!! For all of you who haven't seen it, you so have to.

The awards night was fun too. The girls at work were right about that. My salon didn't win, but that's ok- we had a good time all the same. The entertainment was Harvest Rain- for anyone who doesn't know (the non-Aussies ) they're a big Theater company with quality plays and musicals. In my opinion the best in Australia...they might actually be, but I'm currently too lazy to look it up.

I've forgotten what else I was gonna write about, so this will have to do, lol

Anyways, first up I'm sick again. Big surprise there. I'm back to the old ridiculously big headaches and I've been out of school for over a week and missed two work shifts. Fun huh?
Most people can't understand my ever changing health issues. So to help them understand I tell them my 'health' got bored of being so routined and went haywire before settling on bipolar. Simply? It's up and going for a while then crashes, then goes up and repeats the whole process again. Joy. To top it all off I won a grand prize of not being able to eat properly cause my stomach gets into a heated debate with the food before throwing it out of the court system altogether. But I'm bored of bragging about the past fabulous week now, so onto something else.

It's the Business Achievers Awards Night this Friday night!! I'm so excited XD. The hairdresser I work at not only got nominated but made it to the finals. Okay, so it's not exactly a BIG competition, but it's still gonna be a heap of fun (from what I've been told anyways.) One of the girls at work was gonna lend me a dress to wear. It's a strapless little black dress (lbd), but it didn't want to stay up properly due to stretchy fabric. So, the lbd went back to the owner and I went out shopping. Now I have a simple cream dress, knee-length, with a thick brown belt to match and I'm all set! I'm too young to drink, and frankly, I don't want to, but Maddie (work mate) is set on getting a few down my throat. Over all I think it'll turn out to be a pretty interesting night. That, and we all have to survive the next day at work

I FAILED ENGLISH!!!! At least I'm pretty sure I have. See, we had this in-class assessment thing, but myself and two other students joined the school after the term started and were behind the rest of the class. To be fair the people in charge gave us a totally different topic to write on. It was meant to be 600-800 words long, but I haven't written an essay before, had no idea what the hell I was doing...and only kinda got 205 words written down So with this assignment I'm currently doing (due 2days ago (sick remember)) I apparently still have a chance of passing. Thing is- it's a short story- and I've never written one of those either... so, if I do get an over-all pass it'll be some sort of miracle.

I saw 'Wild Child' at the movies on Monday night. A friend of ours gave us some tickets to a preview showing, seeing as it's not yet out in Australia. She and her husband didn't want to see it and their kids are still in 'the Wiggles stage'. It was one of the best movies I've seen in ages. An obvious chick flick but I think even guys could enjoy it, if their not the blood and shooting obsessed type.
This holidays coming I'm gonna be spending so much money on movies alone (tickets aren't cheap around here). Leise and I decided we're definitely seeing 'Space Chimps' and 'Madagascar 2'. But I have to save some money for when Jess comes own cause we're going to Movie World XD

It could be allergies messing with my system, but I don't want to think about it too much- it's complicated and my brain already hurts.

I went to the optometrists the other week and found out I have to get glasses. I went through so many just trying to find some that would remotely suit, and in the end picked out some with rounded edges, black and purple in colour. I really don't want glasses, I don't even wear sunnies cause they don't look good on me- but if it helps my sight and ends the headaches I get, then I'm willing to use them. It's just gonna take a bit of remembering that I have them

My latest fandom is "Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden" (Bushing Refugio Gen bu Maiden according to spell-check). I told Jess that it was Ouran High School Host Club..but I changed my mind quite quickly, I got bored of it.
Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden is sad, in a sweet sort of way; I know, sukky explanation, but if you read it you may understand- or shake you're head in sadness at my lack of ability to describe things and go on to give a much better description yourself. Anyway, if you a sucker for a story that ends as a tragic romance you should try this manga. (I found it at onemanga.com)

It may just be my lack of interest in certain areas, but did anyone else grow tired of Shippuden? I was reading it when one day I decided I don't like it and deleted it from my bookmarks. Can anyone tell me I'm crazy and to keep reading it? Seriously, with a good argument as to why I shouldn't stop?? I don't plan on reading it any further, but I think I will stay updated as to what happens in future chapters. Not a hard task, as some of the people I watch talk about it in their journals.
Anyways, if you can rightly argue me into reading again please do so. Just be sure your line of reason isn't just for devoted fans only.

Gah, I'm getting so over this whole "find time to cram piano practice in before lessons come again" thing. My week isn't always a quite one and I often don't find time to learn what I'm supposed to......and my teacher gave me a whole page to read and have fluent by next Tuesday!!

Well, you know how I uploaded that drawing "Progress Report" because I was scared I'd totally ruin it as I continued..>? Well, I was right!! I'm sad to say the best drawing I've done in...like forever, is now totally scrap material.
Reasons?
1. I smudged heaps of lead all over the skin and when I tried to fix/erase it, it turned out blotchy. So that's a major component in this.

2. I keep trying to even up the shading in the hair cause one set on curls is always shaded a different way from some on the other side. It just lacks too much texture now, and I can't get it back in.

3. I have no idea what I was gonna do about the clothes anyways.

So now I'm just gonna start a new one....when I'm in the mood

My bedroom's getting moved upstairs again! All the bedrooms are currently downstairs, but dad's office (upstairs room) was once the room of a girl boarding with us, then mine when she moved out. I can't remember the reason for going back downstairs, but I've been down there for about 3yrs now. (Which is actually record for us living in the one house)
It was kind of came to a solid decision about a day ago. I sleep really lightly and, currently in between my sister's rooms, I've been getting no sleep. A pup snoring on one side and a squeaky bed on the other.
Anyways, my little sister has been sick lately and coughing heaps. With me working long hours (for a 16yr old), 2 days a week I really need to rest...not happening at all.
To get away from the coughing noise I've been sleeping on the couch upstairs with earplugs in (strange things those are). But I can't live on the couch, it's way too cold and my quilt stays there nearly all day, making it look some what messy even when folded. So finally my parents have decided to shift everything around a bit.

I'M FREEZING!!!!!! It's been warm..ish during the day recently, but now after it stormed last night it's gone back to ice-cube weather. The mornings and evenings are really cold, and I live half way up the coast of Australia! (round abouts anyways)
Imagine how cold the Melbourne ppl are?!..then again, they're crazy enough to live there, so they can deal with it

Eh, I just got back from a church camp this afternoon, and I am sooo tired!
It was my parents new church that I've been somewhat avoiding.
The adults, sure enough, are lovely. But the teens, my age group, are a stuck up bunch of snobs.
Particularly the girls..or guys..actually, I'm not sure who's company I disliked more.
The girls were all "there's a guy, ah! flirt mode on, flirt mode on!" or "I'm so bored. I know! let's go bitch about things we don't even understand!!!"
And the guys were all like "I'm so much better than you. Too great for you to even look upon, you unholy pig" and "I'm so bored. I'm also hot, so I'm gonna go feel myself."
I'm not joking.
Then there's the bit where, they tried for like...three seconds to involve all the newcomers (yes, there was more than just myself) and then decided they couldn't be bothered cause they're missing out on some other conversation their friends were having.
Other than that, there was also some real immaturity problems.
So I ended up talking mostly to people in their early to late twenties and some of the grand parents. (AH! Jess, does that sound a little familiar to you?)

Anyways, next time the camp comes around, my parents couldn't pay me enough to go with them.

I'M FINALLY DRAWING AGAIN!!! I'm currently working on a piece that may take me a week more to finish - given that I don't stuff it up like I did the last one.
I may yet put the last one up...in scraps though. It looks NOTHING like what I had intended it to. But! It was good practice all the same.
