I've been talking with the superintendant and teacher here, and I will need to complete either 9 or 9 and a half courses to graduate with full credits. (It's either 9 or 9 and a half cause I might have half a credit of US History already.) Sooooooo I'm excited. I'm planning on sending in my application to NWMSU here soon, so YAY.

Also, the week after next I'll be gone for most of the week, cause it's Thanksgiving Break. You know. Can't help that. Haha.

ALSO. BIG BIG NEWS! I'M NOT GOING TO NORTH CAROLINA FOR CHRISTMAS AND THAT IS FINAL! Cause see, it's gonna cost to send me to the tournament this year. So instead of going to NC, I'm going to the tournament with the team. It's the perfect excuse 8D Soooooooooo yeah.

+ 2 USD for a second character
+ 4 USD for a background

Then:

+ 0 for N/A coloring, of course...

Football.
It's times like this that make me REALLY wonder why I play. Oh, that's right, I got forced to by mom's boss (aka our school superintendant) and I agreed to to try and get on my parents good side (and that failed; I'm still grounded from internet indefinitely)
So we went down to Louisiana yesterday like we'd been planning. Except this time we weren't going to stay the night. We had EIGHT people (four were sick) and two of them were junior high (like 6th/7th grade. lol)
They had about...THIRTY. Yeah. D: We had to play eleven man (we usually play eight) and we just scrimmaged a ton. FULL SPEED. For about THREE hours. I dunno how I got any of my injuries except for the leg (got that when I made my only tackle, which also managed to be a solo tackle xD, and the dude kicked me in the leg like five times because he was so focused on running he didn't realize he was in midair xD)
And we also did bear crawls up a hill and duck walked back down and ran up and duck walked down again. This hill was like fifty feet and it was STEEP....I don't think I'll ever complain about our conditioning again. xD;;;
THEN we went to their school again because they were awesome and made us dinner...which I didn't eat any of (not hungry)... and then. The HIGHLIGHT of the evening XD. Here's how it went.

ME: (in hallway going to water fountain)

JEREMIAH (one of the junior high): Hey I bet we could open any of these lockers since none of them have locks...

PAYTON (the other junior high): That'd be cool!

ME: I wouldn't do that, you'll probably get in trouble.

JEREMIAH: No we won't, silly...

PAYTON: See, look! (opens locker)

ME: I SAID NOT TO DO THAT D:

JEREMIAH: See, we aren't getting in trouble. (closes locker)

ALARMS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SCHOOL GO OFF. XDDDDD

Right. Well then. I had planned to give an explanation of why I made this decision. I'd thought long and hard about how to go about this, and how to make it as easy as I could. But, recent developments that I've learned about have caused me to say it simply-I won't talk about in public why I chose to break up with Ash and Anise. It's a private matter, and personally I think it's for the best that nearly no one knows the full story. I know they will agree.

I...I've already found a new mate. They have a DA, but they still have to revamp it before they'll reactivate it. This person has helped me to the point I can never truly repay them back... They've kept my chin held high, helped me whenever something would happen, and they care about me with all their heart...and I feel the same way. I love them with all my heart, and I promise to do my best to be their mate...I can't wait for college, because I know they'll be there to hold me tight and help me...I can't wait for life, because I know they'll be with me every step of the way....and I can't wait for the next day to get here, because I'll be spending it with them...

Seriously. Just when people were getting used to the furry community, too! Now everyone's going to be back on the impression that all furs are sexual deviants who want nothing but sex!

o3o When I was little and I tried to draw wildlife and things. Except spiders. They terrified me. Still do.

For anthros, it’s male-for humans, it’s tied.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Overall they’re both tied, but long hair makes the whole picture easier to draw (as you don’t have to draw as much of the face)

Hummmm… again, both equal. Or a combination of the two?

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Muzzle shape. Feet. Drawing the second eye after putting one on XD. Drawing bare chests and things xD

SU MADRE. Anything, really. Well, except OMGSUPERSHINYYYYY ANIME and YAOI and that sorta thing XD Sure, my style could be considered “anime/manga” but I prefer to make it more realistic, as opposed to “BIG ANIME EYES” and “CRAZY HAIRCUTS”

Digital. I can still do traditional, but I’m better at digital.

Head and shoulders.

Changing styles all the time? xD

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
oWo Uhhhh… I’m no good at this sorta thing… Uh… don’t be afraid to take the time to experiment with things. There’s a Ctrl+Z for a reason. Also, while tutorials are extremely helpful, don’t follow them step by step-combine them or adapt them! The whole point of art is to develop your OWN method of doing things! Oh, and it takes practice. And practice. AND PRACTICE. I’ve been coloring digitally for over 15 months now.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
It really depends. I can finish coloring and shading something in two days, or it can take a full week. It all depends on how long I spend working, how detailed the piece is, and whether I’m willing to sacrifice sleep or not

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
I just click on my library, set it to shuffle, and go. Even if there’s songs in there I don’t really like. I’m not picky when I’m coloring or drawing. When I’m WRITING, however, then I have set playlists. X3

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Heh, things come to me all the time. I may think up something over night, or something may come up in a conversation, or a movie, or a book, or a game.

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
My tablet. <3

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
They always steer very close to the darker area. I'm not very inclined to use vivid colours, other than for details and to grab attention.

◆Your favorite style(s)?
My style started out with my being brainwashed by a combination of anime/manga, video games, and specifically Final Fantasy Tactics Advance XD Now I’m trying to find my own style that I can stick with without specifically forcing myself to.

Ag... ]]> ~mixmaster163 http://mixmaster163.deviantart.com/journal/27062904/ http://mixmaster163.deviantart.com/journal/27062904/ Sun, 06 Sep 2009 21:11:05 PDT ...yesterday... ...the whole family got into a fight. ...It started with my stepdad getting mad that I had games on my laptop, saying it was 'a tool for schoolwork and nothing more' ...then when we tried to explain stuff, come up with solutions, he exploded like usual... ...my stepdad was freaking yelling at me how I'd abused my laptop, my email, my friends, my DA, my art, and their trust... and he pretty much sent me into a panic attack (I was shaking for at least two hours after all was said and done)... he and my mom got into a huge fight, and mom ended up storming out and getting into the car and driving off... ...we talked in a restauraunt, me and mom... see, he took me to where she'd gone and dropped me off, and we went to go get lunch... anyway... there's four choices in front of the two of us... 1, we stick it out and I spend as much free time as I can on the computer doing schoolwork... 2, I move in with a teacher or someone else in town and keep going to school... 3, after football ends I move down to Texas to live with my aunt and uncle (which would be a dream come true) and finish school online down there... and 4, which we both agreed was the most extreme, and would only happen if my mother as well felt threatened (since I've felt threatened for a couple years now)... ...we'd both move out. ...yeah...I'm scared... scared for me...scared for what this might mean... and scared that I'll never recover again...
...in other news, today's my six month anniversarry with my arctic fox twins, Ashyen and Anise...Love you two, a lot...and I hope we can get to talking again soon.
