As of this point I'm putting this profile on permanent hiatus. Probably won't update again.

Hmmm. Got a tablet, so I'm playing with that.
Working on a comic, I've got a story rough worked out, but no idea what format it'll take, what to use and what to save for another project, or how long to make this one. I'll probably just lose interest if its too long and requires too much drawing.... I'll need to refine my art (which I've neglected for a long long time) if its going to look any good anyway.

That and I'll probably look to distribute. In which case b/w seems the way to go. There's 1 comics store in Perth that I know of, and there's a couple of science-fiction bookstores I think would give it a go.

ugh. still got to work on my assignment until I can devote myself to the project anyway. horrah for that!

hmm, finished reading batman: black and white, and I have to say, its one of my favourite books so far. Neil Gaiman, Brian Bolland, Bill Sienkiewicz, Denny ONeil, Katsuhiro Otomo, Frank Miller, Chuck Dixon, Ted McKeever, Bruce Timm, Alex Toth. There's more. Just get it. The band probably peruse some of the forums hear in order to gain inspiration for their two minute long hissy-fits. (And don't reply saying "not all of teir songgs are sad!!! BUY TEH ALBUM!!". I shouldn't have to buy their album, their singles, those that are played on videoshows and radio should give me a solid idea of what the band is about).
The song itself will contain a drum break, consisting of a sample from a Korn song along with some emotional piano over that. The drum break will be fed through some really simple filters in order for it to sound distorted.
Cue the part where the lead singer repeats one line, while the rapper guy raps around each repeat, as the song attempts to build to a climax.
The video will be shot in some sort of decrepit building (church, temple, abandoned highschool, or something equally dark or foreboding). Rain will probably involved in some way. Rain symbolises tears, or so I've been led to believe. Most of the band members will be wearing black, except that rapper guy who will have his hat backwards. Dear god I hate when people do that.

I don't hate the band, they're doing what they love, and all the more glory to them (I could probably sit through their first album if I was sufficiently bored, or if some sort of small monetary incentive was made available). No, its their die-hard fans who fail to see their short-comings WHOM I CAN'T STAND. And don't even try to correct my grammar while I'm on a tirade.

There's a band like Linkin Park for every generation. The band itself may be alright, but their fans will be so single-minded in their devotion to their band that they will fail to accept any other opinion than that of their own. People are good at that. Bob Dylan fans were the arrogant goths of their day. They threw about the word 'conformist' in an attempt to sound clever.
