Tonight we celebrated my brother’s 23 Birthday. We threw a party, cooked dinner, and got rather shit-faced. We played some games and I got to know this one girl a lot better. We started around 5 so the party started to wined down about midnight. Since it was still early, me and my roommate head over to going away party, for a guy I work with, at a bar near the apartment. It was pretty fun; I got to hangout with some people I hadn’t seen in a while. As we were driving home, my roommates car died we pull over to the median, and as he tried to restart it, a truck rammed into us. The entire backend was crushed, his back windshield blew out, and to get out of the car I had to kick the door open and my roommate had to crawl out his window. Thankfully no one got badly hurt. I have a small cut on my hand from some broken glass and a banged my head when we got hit and my roommate’s knees hit the dashboard and are a little sore. Sadly his car probably totaled, but he maybe getting his parents old car soon so it shouldn’t be too bad. After about an hour and a half of: dealing with the cops, getting the car towed, and getting a ride home; I got finally home. When I’m done posting this I’m gonna go crawl into bed and stay there till late tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully when I wake up I won’t be too sore.

Well, I just found out, that one of my best friends, a girl I've been friends with since we were both toddlers, is engaged to be married. As she is the first of my friends to get engaged I suddenly feel very old. At the same time I've looked back and realized I've never had a serious relationship, (not for lack of trying, mind you) and someone I've grown up with is getting married. It's kind of scary and a bit weird to think about.

On a sadder note summer session starts in 9 days, so much for my summer.

I came home for my cousin's graduation, and I am staying here for a few week before summer session starts. It's really weird, after a year of complete freedom, to have your parents tell you to go to bed or to be home by a certain time. I had to stop myself from busting out laughing when my mom told me to be in bed by 12:30, their are some night that I dont eat dinner till then.

Oh well, what can I do. The main problem I'm having is I'm bored as hell. I'm trying to keep busy; I'm working on a a couple of things I might post if they turn out to be good enough. And starting tomarrow I'm retileing the kitchen and dining room, ripping up the okd tile and putting down new ones. But most of my friends are up at college still and I've got no one to hang out with down here.

Well my mom keeps telling me to go to bed so I guess I'm done.

So there's two weeks left in the semester till finals and I'm stressed out of my mind. I had two massive group projects due today that I somehow manage to finish on time. On was a 15 page report of my Engineering class that we've known about for weeks. I had to get on my group members last night to not finish but start it. Arrrrgg!!! I hate working in groups. I've been stressing about my Calc grades but it looks like I should be able to pull a good grade. I hate when you have one bad test day and it screws you over.

Why is it so hard to find a nice intelligent girl? Almost all of the girls I've met at college have either been complete airheads, scanks or total bitches. And the few that aren't I've quickly become friends with. And if there's one thing I've learned it's once I'm friends with a girl I might-as-well forget about any chance of a meaningful romantic relationship with them. Those relationships never work out. Nice intelligent girls do exist, I know, many of my best friends are nice intelligent girls. So why are they so hard to find.

Ok, well I'm all ranted out. Sorry about that I just had to get it out of my system. Just to clear up I'm not saying all or even most of the girls here are airheads, scanks, and/or bitches just that a lot of the ones I've met are.


On a sadder note one of my favorite artist here on DA, Chix0r, left this week because she was being harassed in the forums over for something truly stupid. I thought I'd take a minute to let her know we'll miss her.

As I was writing this I realized it is 4:40am. So I'm gonna stop and get some sleep, the sad thing is this is the earliest I'll have gone to bed this whole week. I really need to start getting more sleep. Goodnight
