Ok, so today during my art lesson my peers and I have revealed to us the exam topic for AS Art exam. So it's Sanctuary. The one thing I need right now as life seems to carry on without me and I am left behind, and the remains that I remain in crumble hopelessly around me. Fortunately for someone in my position, the topic is not only easy, but it's is also peasy and lemon squeezy. It's easily flexible into almost anything I could possibly want to draw and paint.
Although I have had some ideas to input to my art sketch pad, I was wondering what my watchers would think of when the word sanctuary was given to them. How does 'Sanctuary' inspire you? If you read through this please comment, I want to know what you guys think

I recently returned from an Art trip to Amsterdam! And I must say, what an inspiration source it was! And the stops at cafés for the best hot chocolates this world could provide, piled with a mountain of cream (plus chocolate sprinkled on top!) No wonder great artists once resided in there. I was disappointed with the Red Light District, though. too many pick-pockets, not enough boobs (I'm a man, what can you expect from me?. and its a peculiar feeling to walk through a city fearing bikes more than cars! the building structure of Amsterdam is simply amazing, huge windows, and the watery ground below is soft, so some buildings sink a bit, making it looks wonky in a fairytale picture way.
Yes it was amazing and if there's another trip there, I'm going!

Yup! Time's finally come for me to return to shcool. This time, I'm facing a perilous path of further education, and my A levels. With an average set of grades in my GCSEs, I'm set to do Art, Spanish, Enlgish Language and Computing for the next 2 years. The thought of hard and constant work fills me with dread. My determination however, leaves me excited on the prospect of pushing myself to my limits! :B
If any of you have recently gone back to school, college or Uni, or are going to this week, don't hesitate in dropping a comment on your first day(s) back!

I am free!! No more school or exams for the next 11 weeks! it's one of the longest periods of holiday of my life, and it shan't be wasted! gonna develop some skills, from dancing to acrylics! especially my digital art. I wanna reach at least 35 paintings by the end of the summer, and that means almost everyday I'll come up with something, and i promise it'll be good! No more crappy speedpaintings, which I hated with a passion... but yea got prom coming up, hopefully something nice will flourish from that relationship wise Once again people who drop by, do post some comments, I feel unwanted when my comment box is empty feel pity for this poor deviantartist!

Unfortunately, few of my fellow students are as content with this break for freedom as I am, which only brings me down... but still, less journal, more party!

Anyone who read this please wish me luck though, I am desperate! I read Jeremy's latest journal and found out he was popping round London, that'd be a nice chance to meet him in person... pity he's on business, and not for a conference.
Anyways, gonna get back to revision and daydreaming, hope the summer holidays will come so I can get on with some more digital art, I haven't done anything for a while! getting tired of painting mountains and glaciers... :d

Go create something amazing!

I decided to add something now, and I suppose I have something good to put down. I did my art mock exams at the end of last year, and two weeks ago I received my grade for it. For some reason, my teacher, who i actually liked before then thought I deserved a B. That put me down sooo much! But then, something that was only to haunt me for a day or two piled up to a few weeks (yea, I'm still recovering) as I find out my best friends all beat my grade, one of them actually used two colours for his skin in his portrait piece (lovely lilies though). and any dipshit knows in realism there IS green on your face! peachy pink and light brown are not the only colours in your face, kids! But yea, if anyone can help me with art (i really don't give a damn whether it's traditional or digital ((yea I need help with all!)) ). Just post some comments and stuff, please.
