I am working, now. I got the job as a debt-collector and I have a regular income. It's still pretty fun. Some people are assholes, but hey - it'll always be like that. It's money, and I've met quite some new friends.

Things with Gaz fell apart.

I'm going to Scotland in 6 days from now, though. Visiting Daniel, my boyfriend since March 16. The first person since Jeff I truly love. The very first person I trust will not let me down.

I'd like to visit you other peeps too, but eh well, next time I suppose. Daniel is kinda my priority. xD

Ever noticed how when you grow older, Christmas loses the magic it used to have? As kid I was never able to sleep properly the night before Christmas. My mum always plaited my hair on the 23rd, right before I went to bed, so it was all curly on the 24th. Made me feel all angelic and stuff. The 24th itself was a mean day.. I sat around anxious all day until we finally walked over to my granny's, where it's pressie time. It was awesome.

Now I sit here, waiting for my parents to finish what they have to finish, so that afterwards we go over to my gran's again.. I sit here, but I don't really want to leave. This Christmas is special to me, but it's not the presents or my family that makes it special. Have you ever experienced how it sometimes just takes one person to make you feel real special? Being op on another network and channel, I know how easy it is to get tempted to abuse your power. I try not to do it though. Should personal arguments lead to bannings, just because the person with "power" wants the other to shut up? Well now, doesn't the other have exactly the same right to argue? Just that he can't ban the "powerful" person, and make them shut up. No, they can only fight with words. And isn't that the way a good discussion should be like?
Heh, kicking and banning without reason isn't much better than beating someone. It's for the same reasons. You're running out of words and have no other way to help yourself. It's a sign of weakness. And it upsets me, because it's simply unfair. Besides, having power over a chanserv channel somewhere on the internet means nothing. Woohoo, let's ban everyone that complains! Freedom of speech, lmao.

Freedom of speech leads me to the next thing that upset me. Isn't the point of an art site showing one's art and let others comment on it, with constructive comments? I don't want to seem "unpleaseable", I just have a close look at the pieces I'm commenting on and yes, I do try to find things that look disturbing or could still be improved. How to reach a grade closer to perfection otherwise?

I've only tried out Water glow so far, it is possible without though (you need to set the water level on some crazy value like -10000 to achieve that).
Well.. now to water glow:
Depending on your water level you have to change your atmospheric blue settings. I usually use a water level of 0m, and change the half height of the atmospheric blue to about 90m, while I set the density to 70-80%, depending on how intense I want my glow.
Now render a small preview, you should see quite a strong water glow. Reducing the half height leads to a stronger glow, upping it leads to less glow. The color of the glow depends on the atmospheric blue color, as well as the cloud color and the shadow color(s).
I like the effect the water gives if you change the water transperancy (requires RO pack) to about 20-30. Just toy around with water, sky and atmospheric blue colors and you'll end up with an interesting effect.

And whoo-hoo, a storm is coming up! I love storms, I always get all excited about lightnings and the rain is calming me down and I could just stare outside for hours. We sometimes get pink lightnings. I don't know where they come from, but they are fun.. Well, nature is just wonderful.
