Okay, here's my schedule for the next couple days:

I should be online for the rest of today; I'm flying to Anchorage tonight for a business conference that is going on tomorrow and Friday.

I'll be on dA at night, hopefully, because the hotel I'm staying at has free highspeed WiFi; and in Anchorage, highspeed means highspeed like in the rest of the world, cuz they're kinda connected. So, I'll be able to reply to comments and stuff. But I won't be able to fav deviations or post any of my own.

And being sans computer, I'll have to handwrite everything for a couple days, so go ahead and take bets on how long this backlog will be on the typing.

November travel: I have to go to Anchorage, whish is about 250 airmiles from Kodiak, for a two day training, and the hotel I'm staying at has free WiFi. It's also supposidly haunted. I was informed this morning by ~allykat81 that Chris Sabin, my beloved , suffered a concussion/stinger on the TNA taping last week!! STUPID 3D for not killing the finish like they should have. **Killing the finish means to change it and just go for the pin* I never ever say this, but Kevin Nash was right!! He came out and cut a promo, slashing 3D and the ref for not stopping the match when Sabin got hurt. I AGREE!!! ~end rant~

I am home from my vacay now, and I'm actually really happy. It was nice to do nothing for a while, but I am glad to be back home and back to my routine.

So, I have some time, so I thought I'd let my pals know what I was up to.

I have like, 7 mix cds to put on my computer when I get home.
I am working on entries for ~Super-Sonic-Tornado's contest, and *PaddysDemon's contest.
Yes, I have been dabbling on my art trade stories, but apparently I was accompanied on my vacation by writer's block. :grr:
I have effectively lost track of the dates and I leave on THURSDAY.
I have read some great books on this vacation, Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher and have started High on Arrival by Mackenzie Phillips.
My emotional stability was put the the ultimate test today, as my aunt Cheri, aunt Nancy and I went through a bunch of my grandmother's belongs. We did cry a bit, but it wasn't too bad, but at the end of the day, we're all drained emotionally.
I found some cute old snapshots of me as a little girl with my then teenage cousin Tommy. I will scan them and post them when I return home.
I bought a lot of DVDs, so I will be watching a lot of those when I get home too.
I really do want to go home, after I think about it. There are so many reminders of Gramma here, that I think two weeks is all I can stand, for now.
I will be going out with cousin Karly Tuesday night for dinner. YAY! She and I always have great talks because we've had a lot of similar problems and situations over the years.
I WILL BE HOME ON THURSDAY afternoon~ So I shall type and post the Rina Chronicles VII. I love writing how much of a difference there is between Rina and Chris Jericho, her wannabe suitor. They are about 9 and a half years apart, age wise, and Rina in her ways is more mature than Jericho, and is so very heartbroken and can't bring herself to even think of loving anyone else. Jericho is more than likely trying to score.

NFL Preseason Wk 4

NFL Preseason is officially OVER, and regular season kicks off on Thursday!
In the Preseason finale, the Patriots defeated the Giants 38-27. Brady did not play, but was dressed in full uniform. He will start the regular season opener at home versus the Buffalo Bills.

I also found out that we traded OL Russ Hochstein, one of our best linemen and fantastic at protecting Brady, to Kansas City. Are we a farm for the Chiefs now or what?? And we also traded Richard Seymour to Oakland! WHAT THE HELL! We have Sammy Morris and that is the last tenured vet besides Brady on the team. I guess it's a new era, and I'm sure Belichick knows exactly what's up. He's always said that it doesn't matter what players we don't have, it only matters that we use the players we do have effectively. He is a very wise man.

Okay, Preseason Week 3 is done. News of note other than scores: Brett Farve (MIN) has a cracked rib. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Matt Cassel (KC) has a sprained MCL, out 2-4 weeks. Brandon Marshall (DEN) has been suspended by the team for conduct detrimental to team. *He has not learned the playbook at all yet, what a dumbass* And in my opinion, the biggest news: New England linebacker Tedy Bruschi has retired from the NFL. BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sobs*

The Patriots travelled down to Washington, DC to play the Redskins, they won, 27-24. Brady went 12 of 19, for 150 yards and two TDs, both to Randy Moss. My favorite WR, Welker, did not check in for this game. Brady did take one hit from DE Haynesworth, and was jarred. He says that his shoulder is a little sore. Coach Belichick said that that had no impact on his decision to not have Brady play in the second half.

The Patriots defeated the Eagles in Philadelphia, 27-25. Brady returned from his injury, played in the first two quarters; he went 10 of 15 for 100 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Oh and in the stupid, frustrating news column:

It's been reported on NFL.com this morning that Brett Farve, the serial I'm retired/I still want to play flip-flopper, has reportedly headed to Minnesota and a deal is supposidly close to being final. SHEESH!!!! Newsflash Farve: Quit ruining your legacy!! JUST GIVE IT UP ALREADY!! This is making you look sooooooooo bad, rather than good. You're making history again, but for all the wrong reasons. I've had it. *growls*

It was reported on NFL.com, among many other sites, that Brett Favre has signed a deal with the Minnesota Vikings this morning, the terms were undisclosed, and he could start playing as soon as Friday. He's going to be 40 this year, and he's well past his prime. He just can't hang it up. I've lost a lot of respect that I once had for Brett, simply because he can't walk away, and goes back on his word.

As some of you know, I had to fly to Seattle on Father's Day because my gramma was in the hospital, and I got home yesterday. I got a call this morning, she didn't make it. I'll be going back down in a week or so for the memorial. So I'm going to turn to my writing to help me get through this. If you pray, please pray for her, her name's Glora. So, just checked out the results from Extreme Rules, and my first reaction is I'm not happy. Jeff Hardy worked his ass off and clawed his way to victory over Edge, to regain the World Heavyweight Championship, only to have CM Punk come out right after and cash in his Money in the Bank contract. Stupid son of a bitch! Course, that just proves he's not much of a man either, so I'm sure Jeff'll get it back!

On a semi happy note, Batista beat Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. I dont really like Batista that much, but at least Randy doesnt have it anymore.

And on a funny note, Santina Marella beat Vickie the Evil Bitch in the hog pen match to regain the Miss WrestleMania crown!

Had some great laughs with everyone again, our priests have too much fun with the flower petal throwing. and we processed outside in the rain!!! and i lost my voice halfway through the service. but i had a blast, just hanging with everyone again. well, i'm hoping to get to bed now, so good night/good morning.

aight, so,

somtimes authors for whatever reasons use pen names. this is the literary equivilant to stage names in the entertainment industry. i am not fond of my name and its a hassle to sign it pretty and author like so i've decided to take a pen name for my work. it is Aerion Tristan. the first name is pronounced air-e-on. i found the name aeron in a baby names book and it said that that was a name invented by j.r.r. tolkein. i thought that was pretty, but Aerion was prettier. so yay me i made up a name!!

NFL Week 8

ello all! tis a loverly sunday evening here in kodiak. always is, right before a big storm!!!!!!! week 8 is almost done. the indianapolis colts remained undefeated as they trekked to mile high stadium in denver, to snap the 13 home game winning streak the broncos once had claim to. the giants fought the 50 mile per hour winds as well as the tampa bay bucs, at home. and they won, 17-3. the steelers lost, again, they are 2-5, so it seems their post season hopes are quickly fading. the patriots are on monday night football tomorrow night where they hope to quash the the minnesota vikings on the road. then next week is the epic battle. week nine. november the fifth. gilette stadium, foxborough, massachusetts. the indianapolis colts, with adam vinatieri in enemy colors, come to their seasonly meeting with the patriots. who shall triumph? how will the fans act towards their beloved adam vinatieri coming home in enemy colors? wait and see my friends. may the force be with the patriots and all of us.

ok, not much time here people!
week 6: colts and patriots had a bye week. the steelers beat the kansas city chiefs at home, 45-7, improving their record to 2 and 3. the giants were on the road, and beat the atlanta falcons, 24-17, their season record being 3-2.
week 7: the patriots beat the buffalo bills on the road, 28-6. this improved their record to 5-1. the colts beat the washington redskins at home, 36-22, their perfect record is now 6-0. the steelers lost in a valient effort against the atlanta falcons in the georgia dome, which went into overtime. the score was 38-41, dropping their record to 2-4. the giants were on monday night football against the dallas cowboys.

kay, week 5. everyone won, except the steelers. i might just give up on them. the patriot beat the damn dolphins at home, 20-10. The colts barely beat the titans, but they did, 14-13.the steelers lost to the san diego chargers, 13-23. and the giants beat the washington redskins, 19-3. here are the season records so far:
new england patriots: 4-1
indianapolis colts: 5-0
new york giants: 2-2
pittsburgh steelers: 1-3
next week, the colts and the patriots are on a bye week, the steelers look to tackle the kansas city cheifs at home, and and the giants are on the road to take on the atlanta falcons. au roiver.

okay, football fans, week 1 of the 2006 season is in the books. i did pretty well, 2 for 2 on my predictions. the Patriots had a helluva time beating the Buffalo Bills. Thanks to our great linebackers: Tully Banta-Cain, Mike Vrabel, and Tedy Bruschi, they saved the game and we won, 19-17. and my manning bowl prediction was correct. Big brother Peyton and the Indianapolis Colts beat little brother Eli and the New York Giants. Not that they didnt give the Colts a run for their money, it was mostly a two point separation between them. But, a 4th quarter field goal by the legendary Adam Vinatieri made the difference, no surprise there. the final score, thanks adam, was 26-21. see you after week 2.

yay! i'm back. i was gone for two months, and i think i owe everyone a little explaination. in july, i had to go to anchorage to get my wisdom teeth surgically removed. after the surgery, i had complications, and had to stay for a little while. then i got home and i broke my lappy charger, again. i royally screwed it this time. then i have to send it out again when i get it back so that i can get a new battery cause they did a recall of the type of battery i have in my lappy, so i wont have it for a while. sorry. talk to you all later,
