Last night after serving over a hundred people Indian food [heh... I accidentally typed foor at fist] at a break-neck pace for two hours straight and being up for over 15 hours, I was understandably half-dead. My dad came to pick me up, but since it was dark out, I was dressed in all black, and there were a ton of people around, he understandably didn't notice me. So I started chasing after the car, not noticing the RED LIGHT he had to stop at in two seconds anyway. I tripped and fell. I scraped up both of my hands, fortunately the left one got the worse end, and my right knee, I also bruised my left knee rather badly. Now it's slightly lumpy and purple. So I killed all of the useful parts of my body! WHEE! I've wrapped up my hands and knee with paper towels and tape. God. I look like a burn victem. But I don't have andy bandaids. Bleh. I've put ointment on so hopefully they won't get infected or scar. Ugh. What a pain in the arse.

ANYWAY!

I just wanted to apologize for the massive spam inducing update. The computer that I scan things on was down for two weeks, so it was two weeks worth of work.

I'm in a slightly depressive mood, but nothing really extreme. I'm missing my friends a lot, especially since I saw someone from school yesterday, and it just reminded me of them. But I'm sure this surprises none of you.

I feel my hopes of becoming a popular artist slipping away as I see all the talented artists, but I need to remind myself that I've only been drawing for two years, and most of the people I wish to draw like have been doing it for over a decade. I also feel like I've stopped improving, and that also makes me rather sad.

I got my picture 'Floating' fav'd by an artist. As I don't get many favs, I thank people personally. I think it's a nice thing to do. I went to their page and said 'Hey, thanks for the fav!' or some other generic nonsense like that. Her response? 'Yeah. Your art's pretty good.' Something to that effect, it had the 'pretty good' part word for word. Now, my feelings hurt, I look to see who Ms. High-and-Mighty is. SHe has a crapload of pageviews, so I think 'Cool! I feel so loved! I got added to peoples favorites while I was gone, so that was a happifying surprise when I got back.

I took a workshop on anatomy, and got some good pointers for drawing NOT super skinny male bodies! YAY!

And because I was a girl wearing a man-ho outfit, at least three guys followed me around for a little while and asked me to give them directions. [I pointed while doing so and it made my costume look very... interesting. Thank god for the duct tape that I used to cover... stuff...] And I didn't figure out why untill my friend explained it.

It was SOOO much fun!

Were any of you there?
