In my art class this year, I am required to turn in a project every two weeks, so that will force me to keep drawing even when I don't really have the time! Yay! But it will mean that I put stuff up a lot more often ^^.

What's new here... let's see... not too much. My scanner broke x_x so digital camera it shall be!

Anyway, I think that my art and my style has really changed a bit since when I put up most of the stuff in my gallery, so i am going to go through and delete some of them so my work represents me more now. So anyway, there I was eating lunch and minding my own business when something large came flying through the air and hit me. Now you can imagine that my friends and I were sufficiently DISGUSTED by the revelation that I had just been struck by a chunk of half-eaten salami.
Nearby, there was a table of junior boys who were cracking up and staring at us. So, I got up, picked up the salami (using extreme caution) and went over to them. "I think this belongs to you, here, have the rest of your lunch back" and threw it at them. THE END

that was an incredible story, was it not? It was a very traumatizing experience. I am scarred for life.

JUST KIDDING! I have not isolated myself from civilization, slept for an inhumane period of time, or otherwise deprived myself of water. BUT, I have decided that I will try something new and somewhat foreign to me-- DIGITAL PAINTING. (ooh, shiny)

Most of my artwork is Traditional, and if you browse through my gallery, you will find that the digitally done pictures are far, few, and flimsy (for lack of a better word that starts with F to define my digital painting skill.)

I am from now on going to be doing a lot more digital art that will help me to learn techniques and skills that are helpful to one when painting on the computer. So PLEASE, if you have ANY critique, advice, or suggestions, I would really love to hear them

Last night, we went to this Hibachi steak house to 'celebrate' (not really, we just wanted to go there) my birthday and my brother's. I finished eating before the chef (his name was Tom) was done cooking in front of us (I ordered sushi ) so I drew a picture of him. It was really good, considering I was in a restaurant, and it actually looked like him. But, I can't show it to you because I gave it to the chef because he really liked it.

Yes I am designing a house!! not for real, because I feel like it xP. Some of you, for whatever odd reason, may have seen the "pick a number from 1 to 5" forum thread thing that I started... I used those numbers for the architecture I am about to put up a picture of the design, which is completely not realistic because the proportions are all off, but it's still cool. [link]

My birthday is Tomorrow!!! YAY!!

I'm taking some friends out to dinner in a few weeks, and I'm about half done with the invitations. I couldn't make it easy for myslef... I printed out a design 7 times and am repeatedly coloring it in XD

yesterday we played SPUD in the backyard. It was really fun!! you guys should try it, but you need at least five people.

I am trying to make a necklace out of tootsie roll wrappers, but I don't have enough. I already made one out of starburst wrappers and it's SO HOT!!! I'll post a picture of it.

RIDDLE OF THE DAY: what word representing one male can you add an 's' mon the end to represent more than one female? (example: boy + 's' = boys, but that doesn't work, obviously)

woot!! I am trying vectoring. It's really fun!! Our Adobe Illustrator is pretty old, though. I will show it to you guys as SOON as it's done!!

Question: does it still qualify as a vector if you use the pencil tool in Illustrator instead of the pen tool?

Because I am still doing it the same way, just I can't get the hang of the pen tool, so I'm using the pencil.

I have a cold... it's making my head hurt. and my nose run. and my throat hurt. and my eyes hurt... and I'm SO TIRED!!! *grabs tissues*

Boy, did they screw up our flight home!!! We were going to fly from Maui to Los Angelos to Newark, but then we had a 2 - hour delay in Maui, so we missed our LA connection. Then we had to go on 3 flights, Maui to LA to Dallas to Newark. In Dallas, we couldn't get in because there was another plane in our gate, so we all had to pull an OJ Simpson and run to the other side of the airpot (Dallas is a HUGE airport) in 15 minutes. The flight attendant was going to close the doors because my mom and my brother can't run so fast, so we almost didn't make it. It wasn't even our fault that we were later because of the other plane, either. This is all American Airlines, btw.

otherwise, it was an AWESOME trip!!! We went snorkelling and saw all these colorful fishees, and we climbed around on these lava formations that ruined our shoes, (one was called Dragon's Teeth XD) and we took a helicopter ride, and we went whale-watching, and we ate some really good fresh fish, and watched beautiful sunsets on the ocean!!

I will get around to putting up my pictures and checking all my messages... I have 201 right now because I went through some last night

-cries- I've been having a really off day, and I feel crummy and nervous and upset all at the same time!! anyway, it reeeeally sucks, and i dunno if I'm pms-ing or what, but it SUCKS!!! ok so this is the outline of my day:

1. I get to school, forget my gym locker combination. The teacher forgot to cut my lock (i brought a new one and more clothes anyway) but I ended up *thinking* that I smelled bad the whole day and that was embarassing. It was probably just me...

2. In french class I forgot my book and got in trouble

3. In computers I'm stuck on my project cuz I forgot to bring in all the pictures for it. I only brought two. bad ones.

4. At lunch I found out that my best friend is sick today. so, I ate alone until everybody else (lazy LATE peoples) came to the cafeteria. then, I had to leave ALL MY FRIENDS early as usual for "special smart-people science". I discovered that we had PLAY PRACTICE FULL CAST rehearsal after school that I had to miss to go to the foot-doctor.

5. In band I couldn't find the music for this song we're playing. Somebody probably took it, but I think I had it. this girl who's my music-partner-person was kinda mad.

6. In Language Arts the teacher made me read my pre-GEPA story thing to the whole class which sucked cuz my essay sucked. Then, the guy said that us "special science" people have to take the same science GEPA science part as everybody else. we ALWAYS get sterotyped for being smart. SO NOT FAIR!!! we may be taking Biology, but that means we skipped Earth Science (on the GEPAs)

GEPA= Grade Eight Proficiency Assesment (New Jersey)

7.In history I have a C- because there is a Test I was absent for, which counts as a ZERO that the teacher "forgot" to tell me about so I could make it up.

8. I went to the foot doctor podiatrist person and we waited for an hour. then they took X-Rays of my feet, wrapped them in plaster which made me itchy, and told me I need orthodics because I am flat-footed.

9.I just came back from Tuesday night school crap (not really crap, I'm just in a bad mood) and we were having discussions about relationships and sex. The girl leader told me I should ask out my crush, because he was probably too shy to ask me out. Later, I accidently said his name in front of my friends. In the car home, my dad yes my DAD guessed who he was. now, he'll tell my mom, who'll call this kid's mom and she'll tell her and she'll tell him. NEVER HAVE A CRUSH ON A FAMILY FRIEND. never ever ever. ever. EVER!!!

so now after venting my feelings, no wait, I'm not done.

even if I did ask him out, he probably likes somebody else. He might even be going out with somebody else, for all I know. I'm not a big gossipper. maybe he'll ask me to the end of the year dance, maybe I should ask him. What if he says no? what if he already asked some other girl? When IS THE DANCE?!? I'm such a loser, I don't even know when the dance is. I'm gonna cry again...
