A couple of days ago i finally got my new camera.

It's the Canon Eos 450d.

So far I'm very pleased with it. I love it.

I am going to take alot of more pictures soon.

Lately I didn't do alot on DA. Didn't upload alot or had great new ideas. I didn't take pictures excepting in Paris (see below).
I'm discontent with my camera and I hope I can afford a SLR soon.
I already have models to work with.


Paris


I've been to Paris with my fiancé last week. 3 Days. It's an amazing city. I couldn't imagine living there, but I can recommend everyone to visit this huge metropolis. It's so worth it!
I took alot of pictures, some turned out very good. And I'm going to upload a couple to DA soon. :) So keep watching.

Cleaning Out My Gallery


Yeah .. a couple of times... I was recently browsing my gallery and I guess you know how it sometimes happens that you look at things with a diffenrent perspective than you did before. Your style changes and you would do alot of things in a different way. There are things you liked maybe a year ago, but don't like anymore. There are techniques you used to take pictures and to edit them, but that's not how you do it anymore.
So I decided to clean out my gallery. I'll remove alot of work within the next time. Maybe re-edit things again where I think it's worth it.


My Birthday...


... was just yesterday. I'm 22 now.
I had a good day with family and then later a party with some friends.
It was weird though, because last year I had a really big party with alot of people, this year was much smaller and more laid back. I think I like it best when there are alot of friends, action and fun, music and so on...
I just thought I would tell you.

What do you like more, big partys or smaller things?

I'm off university at the moment. Got some time for myself. Summer brake, no classes, that's nice. But I have to do a couple of things for university...
Beside that I'm very very happy. My life changed alot. :)

NEWS



I thought it's time for a new journal. So here we go.
First of all thanks to all my watchers, all the people here on DeviantART who support me. :heart:

In a couple of days my new semester (4th) at university is gonna start. For all who don't know me - I study music and german. bachelor degree.
Within the last month I had alot of time to relax. For the most part it was a nice time. But now I'm looking forward to the things that are ahead.

These days I'm searching for a job where I can earn some extra money. Because I wanna get a little closer to my "dream" of buying a new cam - a Canon EOS 400D and starting a new chapter of photography. By and by I realized that my current camera (a very simple one) won't be able to fulfill my requirements anymore. I'm totally looking forward to get this new cam, but probably it'll still take a while until I can buy one.

Since a couple of days I'm admin of the group .
Thanks to *bloodyslash and ~zygrael for the warm welcome. :)
Currently we are about to plan a DevMeet. The present poll shows that probably June 16th is going to be THE day.

but since i took some pics of myself and of other people i more and more start liking that. and i like putting in special effects. i love black and white. so i'll try to take alot more pics of people. i'm going to search for models now. so that in the end my gallerie will include both-nature and people, as two different types.
