Well, I got a job! This is so exciting! I'm going to start working at Family Christian Stores. It's the perfect place for me to be working as well.

Guess what! I finally made the switch from IE to Firefox yesterday. I've yet to find the advantages of Firefox, but it's only my second day using it. I was using Safari also, which is much faster than both Firefox and IE, but it doesn't scroll all the way down on some sites. (I think it's only because I use Safari on a Dell computer though.)

Oh and I finally finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. \

In other news, it's snowing cats and dogs here. We have at least a foot of snow outside, and it won't stop! I love the snow though, so it's all good. EXCEPT that my sister and her boyfriend are out of town right now and were supposed to come home today. They can't get on their plane because of the snow. Tons of flights have been canceled because of the weather. Right now we're worried if they will be home for Christmas...

But who knows, maybe the snow will stop tomorrow. (My aunt and uncle are also unable to come down because of the snow.)

UPDATE:
My sister made it home, my aunt and uncle are not able to make it for christmas, and I've also dug my own grave by *drum rolll*.............

Old people are very touchy, and have a firm grip.

I'm here in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving because that's where all my family live. This weekend also doubled as a birthday party for my grandma's 80th. ALL HER OLD FRIENDS ARE HERE. THEY ALL SAY 'oh I remember when you were two years old...' OR 'oh hello SARAH (That would be my older sister's name.

I even had a few people ask me how my brother was...I don't have a brother, atleast that I know about...

My parents wanted me to turn out as a boy, because they wanted a girl and boy. Instead they got two girls, which they say is fine. Ya right, no need to lie XD

THE OLD PEOPLE WON'T STOP TOUCHING MY BUTT!!! And PEOPLE WON'T STOP TOUCHING ME! All my stagecraft friend know that I HATE hugs and/or touching in any way. (Handshakes are good though...but old people don't do that...)

They grab my limbs and squeeze them like I'm an orange waiting to be juiced!

Hola senoritas and senors. I know none of you really care all that much, but I'm going to give you an update on stuff that's importante to muah. READ IT AND BE HAPPY.

This upcoming Monday is a yearbook competion called IJAA, Idaho Journalism Advisers Association. (It's a mouthful; I sometimes call it 'ija' since it's hard to say I-J-A-A all the time)

ANYWAYS I'm doing a competition where I design two Double Page Spreads (DPS) in 90 min, or for those under priveledged one hour and 30 min. I'M NERVOUS.

I'm the only yearbook person going this year from our school My head editors bailed out on meh Instead, I'll be staying in a room, it's at a hotel, with our broadcasting peeps. I'VE NEVER MET THEM BEFORE.

Atleast I'll have my newspaper peeps right? Right.

Oh and did I mention that I'm bringing our school's yearbook along just to see if it could possibly win Best of Show?! like that'll ever happen, but you never know. the other schools might have just sucked...really bad

Later on...
IJAA was okay. When I did my competition, yearbook layout, I got Excellent...again. (You can get Superior, Excellent, Honorable Mention, or nada) I got Excellent last year. I was very depressed for a few days, and I didn't have a very high self esteem. But I'm over that now; it was a few weeks ago.

Our yearbook got a 1 out of 5...REALLY REALLY BAD
The editors thought it was outrageous, but what the judges wrote was totally true. Gotta love the irony.

At IJAA the "classes" were LAME. The yearbook class was basically for NOOBS, yes I said it, and I left at the break to go watch Forest Gump in my hotel room. Plus the guy next to me was too-close-for-comfort and started talking to me.*GASP* HE would talk to me?! A superior race than he?!

...jk

On the plus side, for lunch we got to order Chinese food and it was delivered to the hotel loby It's tradition now. Plus I made friends with a freshman named Austin. He's a pesmistic character...

I'm not going to say I'm sad that it was IJAA's last year...but I will miss getting out of school for 1 1/2 days for no reason at all .

You've all heard of Avril Lavigne right? *hands rise* good good... Weeeell Krystal Meyers is basically the Christian version of her. IT ROCKS HARD. She gives me my rock hard-girl-christian music that I love so deeply, and well she gets money that I spend on her CDs BUT SHE RUINED HER CAREER (atleast from my stand point)

Her new CD just came out. IT'S ALL POPPY AND PREPPY!!! KRYSTAL WHY HAVE YOU ABANDONED MEH!!! *cries in corner* I ish very disapointed.

Well I just finished making my bento for the first day of school tomorrow, and it really isn't that dazzling. But I did make noodles tonight! My soy sauce soaked eggs have to wait until morning to be finished though. And grapes! I'm eating grapes tomorrow too.

So yes tomorrow is the first day of school for me, ~keychuu, ~Kirii, ~curvey, ~kimihiro-senpai, and ~idabo. Idabo doesn't exactly log on to dA...at all, but hey she still goes to our school. And for a second there we all had our lungs tied in knots when Toph was about to fall out of Soka's hands.

Oh and when Zuko ran in front of Azula's lightning bolt and nearly died for Katara!!!

Today two of my friends died, their names were Phil and Anastasia. Only those who know me really well know who they were: my goldfish. We came home after grocery shopping and there floating on top was my precious Anastasia. (She was my favorite ) She was the biggest fish in the tank, and had a beautiful long tail to match.

Phil was the second biggest, and when I found him he was gently breathing on his side in the water. It was rather pathetic actually. I don't know about Spot and Chuckles, the other two fish left. My friend Lauren named those two...

Well I did happen to take a picture of my fish before they...passed.


The one on the bottom is Anastasia. With the really long tail.

So my night get's even more depressing. Spot died. I think Lauren will be sad when I tell her a church tommorrow. Chuckles may not last through the night.

And don't you even dare say, "They're just goldfish!" Because sure they are goldfish, but I take very good care of my fish. They get bubbles, a light, and a big bowl for them to swim around in. Now Chuckles is in his own small glass bowl. Alone.

After being on a long, well a week long, vacation with my family. Actually technically speaking I'm not really home yet. I'm typing this on my dad's lap top here in the hotel, a I'm not going home until Monday. BUT GOSH DARNIT YOU PEOPLE I WATCH! YOU POSTED 86 DEVIATIONS IN ONE WEEK!!! 86 crazy new artists... Anyways we were here in California, doing our stuff. I found out that an anime expo is down here though, but it's next week. THEN I found out that dA was going to be there. For shame for shame.

Well I just got back from a week long camping trip with ~keychuu's family...enough said. *AKA she has a younger sister that drives you insane*

To a much much cooler and nicer mode:
We got a new puppy! He's a miniature(sp?) australian sheperd (he's a purebread ) His name is Boomer and he has a white skunk stripe going down his head. SO adorable...I will be posting pictures ofcourse.

And I took 387 pictures on the vacation with ~keychuu so i'll be posting some of those as well. But not until next week...Boomer is currently in my lap snoozing :faints:

Snakes? Wires? What do they have to do with each other? Well actually a 'snake' is a type of huge wire that connects everything on a stage to the sound board. Cool huh? Well I'm typing this here at the church I go to. We've been working on sound, and lights, and climbing through walls to get to the wires. I'm about to go climb into a wall myself! It shall be interesting w/o a flashlight...

But we've made a lot of progress; we got the projector to work.

Also, my sister and I went to go see the new Narnia movie last night. Those review peoples must have been drunk or something because that was a fantastic movie. I can't wait until the next one comes out.

Gotta get back to work, ttyl.

So I entered this picture in a photo contest about 2 months ago right? I think it's a pretty good picture.

AKA it's a picture of a girl in Cross Country running with a cool expression on her face.

Anyways my yearbook advisor had some news for me today...but he was hesitant to tell me. Ofcourse this just made me more interested.

I'll just cut to the chase. MY PICTURE GOT HONORABLE MENTION!!!!!!!!!! Okay so you might be thinking, "So?" Well MR. SO! It just so happens to be a very hard contest to win, so getting an honorable mention is fantastic news!

A new fandom has entered my mind!!!

Ever Stays Red!!!!

These guys are this awesome band that came to our church to do this free concert thing...IT WAS FRICKIN AWESOME!!!!The concert itself was amazing, but we got to talk with the band through out the time they were with us and THOSE GUYS ARE FUNNY and nice. Really really nice.

So you should youtube em. They've got awesome music videos XD [link] They made this one themselves. Personally my favorite song by them is Glorious, but that's just me ...

And also a thing called Fine Arts is this Saturday and I'm entering a few things. I still need to take my picture for the photography thing thoug Kinda stressing am I...

Also I'm entering two sign language routines. One solo and one group. Again a little nerve racking XD

Interesting how my last journal that I posted was when I was sick...lucky me.

Well yes I'm sick again but now I've lost my voice and I have a fever ^^ Aren't I fabulous? I'm getting better though, so no worries.

But EVERYONE is sick lately! is sick, my bub Lauren is sick, uggg this season is not nice to humans.

At my school right now we have the following sicknesses floating about:
-Fever
-Icky poo poo thing (spelled like diarea or something)
-Mono OH MY!
-Cold

Being sick is great isn't it? *note harsh sarcasm*

It's this website that's basicly like a radio station, but you choose what music comes on. You can even have more than one station. Example: I have a Classical station, Christian Rock station, Celien Dion and other songs like that station, etc.

How did I hear of this marvelous website? Well firstly my daddyo found out about it just a few weeks ago and has been addicted to it. *rolls eyes* Then showed me it at her house the other day.

I'm officially hooked. And you could be too!

Ello to you all *pants from the batting of penguins* I got away from the penguins...for now...

Well here is a lil update for all of you people who care. Which is none of you but just READ THE STUPID IDIOT TALKING ABOUT HER LIFE. PRETEND YOU CARE.

So tonight is the first night I get to do sound BY MYSELF at my youth group. Kinda scary since this is only my 3rd time doing sound. (one of the other ones was when I was being trained ) A lil nerve racking yes, but cool I am utterly excited.

This past weekend I got to babysit 's kids. *cough* her cats and dog. Buddy is a large black lab that when his tail wags vigorously and hits you, it hurts. Badly. Star kitty ish my favorite! He like to purr and rub against me *faint in happiness* Never saw Mittens...

Another thing, I'm almost done with that quilt I was making for that auction. I should be done...but I'm not

Interesting title isn't it? Well I didn't really have a nightmare about the quilt I'm currently working on, but I'm stressed out about it BIG TIME. Have any idea why? Let me begin the tale of old...

So originally I was going to make a quilted WALL HANGING for a charity auction going on at my church in a few weeks. So all was hunky dorey. I bought the fabric with my gift cards to Joann Fabrics, my FAVORITE fabric store. It's actually really pretty cuz it gots light purple and yellow and light green and light blue on it. It's Spring themed

Anyways so I finished it today. WOW. I finished basicly a mini quilt in one day. Well when I got done with it, my family and I took a look at it. It's too big. Way too big to be a simple wall hanging. So now guess what. I have to make it into a quilt. That's right: I have to finish a quilt in one week. ONE WEEK. THE PRESSURE IS OFFICIALLY ON THE BRAIN...or is it shoulders...

Oh well, I can do it After all, it is for charity.

Who here loves taiyaki? *hands go up* Who here has had taiyaki? *hands go down* IDIOTS!!! Although I have never had taiyaki, BUT I PLAN TO ENJOY IT IN THE SOON FUTURE!!!

Well I've been dreaming of Japan lately. Not litterally, but in a sense of: I REALLY REALLY want to go there soon. I've been watching azumanga daioh amvs and kanon amvs on youtube for the past few days. I haven't watched the entire season of Kanon, but I have seen the entire season of Azumanga, and read all four books. But why am I telling you this? *voice in my head: because you feel the need to tell the world of your life stupid!* SHUT UP BOB!

Well Kanon has to be adorable! That show got me into taiyaki kinda. That poor Ayu and Yuuichi. Ayu is always slamming herself into him on acident because she's running away from the taiyaki salesman because she gets startled. Ayu is always saying 'uguu' before she says anything else. So cute

So guess what? My cousins are here for New Year's and they have 3 little kids. Below:

1. Kaylee is 7 years old and absolutely adores me. Like I'm a god or something, it's cute but strange at the same time.
2. Kyler is 4 years old and is, I'm sorry, but a bit of a cry baby. He cries and gets more upset than his litte brother.
3. Kayden who is 2 years old is absolutely adorable! He gives you these dark stares that you stare back at him and then you have this huge staring contest. XD

The kids love the Wii. LOVE IT. They want one really bad.

I made pancakes this morning! I have issues when it come to flipping them though, and I plan on making a comic about that XD. I also want to get around colouring more of the azumanga daoih pages. heheheh so hillarious

My dad has icky poo poo today. Yucky yes. So why am I telling you this? BECAUSE YOU NEED TO KNOW EVERY DETAIL OF MY LIFE THAT IS WHY!!!!!

I have plans! Devious plans, as in unique things I've never done before. This year I'm entering an art competition that lets you drama skits and such, so I'm going to do sign language to some songs! One of them is Go by The Newsboys. The other one is being debated between me and my bestest church buddy ever Lauren. She's the one in A jones for a jones picture. We both wanted to do sign language, so there ya go!

I'm also going to enter photography as usual.

Even though for some when you read this Christmas will be over, I still wish you a Merry Holiday and New Year.

YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT MY MUM GOT MY FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS!!!! So after we had opened all of our presents at my grandparents house, but we brought all the presents we had under our tree with us, we came home. *duh* So when we got here, THERE WERE TWO LARGE BOXES under our tree. Guess what was in em. Guess.

1. Xbox 360
2. A Wii

Isn't that so radical?!?!?!

And since I like to quilt, I told almost everybody to get me Joann Fabrics, a fabric store here, gift cards. Guess how much money I got in Joann gift cards. $65. WOW AGAIN!!!!!

One thing that we used to do on Christmas morning at our old house was so cool. We'd each get a silly string can in our stockings, and we'd spray the entire room. So much fun, but since we've moved we've never done it. So I decided to buy silly string and put them in our----I mean give them to Santa to put in our stockings. Oh the joy. My mom won't let us spray the string in our living room though because it's much nicer than our other house's.

AND I GOT TOBYMAC'S CD PORTABLE SOUNDS!!!! TOBYMAC ISH MY FAVORITE ARTIST EVER!!!!!!

I feel bad because I gave fuzzy socks. YOU GAVED ME THE BESTEST PRESENT EVER!!!! THE ENTIRE SERIES OF AZUMANGA DAIOH JAMMED INTO ONE BOOK THAT IS HUGE AND THICK! SO COOL. my socks pale in comparison*tear*

Hola Everybody! I hope that everyone is having a happy holiday season.

Happy Hannukah to those who are jewish, and I shall not be eating pig either. Because I'm a vegetarian! *go us veggie eaters* But I still eat chicken because they are stupid little animals, even though God created them, that run around with their head chopped off.

Anyways down to business! So recently you may have noticed that I posted about 13 pictures of food in my gallery. These, if you read the artist comments, were being posted for a cook book! I didn't get paid, and I didn't get published, but I still did something that wasn't for my own joy.

This cook book is being made by for family and friends. She wanted me to bake and take pictures of Pepper and Cheese Scones. I didn't actually put any pepper in it, because I didn't have any pepper at home. And besides, you can't tell there isn't any pepper in them, it's just a picture.

So do you think they turned out okay? ishtars-wolf likes the first one the best, and so do I. I think that was almost everybody's favorite. Thanks for all the comments and favs on my work!

You don't really have to watch TV right now do you? Hmmm? How would you like to just sit and watch the Golf Channel all day in your hospital bed? It'd be nice to have an interuption of, "Hey you got a Christmas Card!"

Also I have my very own project I'm working on. I'm making hug pillows for people in the hospital. These are so they can have something to snuggle and hold when they might be feeling pain or a certain injury while in the hospital. You can do it too! Just call your local hospital and ask if you can bring over, say 40 hug pillows. Explain it to them, and I'm sure they'll say thanks. Here's my stamp!

And I'm just in the Christmas Spirit tonight! We set up our Christmas tree today, and our lights. Can't wait to set up little baby Jesus and the Nativity scene! Not outside, but my grandparents have a thing they set up outside! So does my other grandma! But it's an angel with a trupet...oh well close enough.

My parents didn't believe me when I said I would take her on walks every other day. *psh stoopid 'adults'*

Her name is Minnie ^^. Although the pet guy named her Precious...I like Patches myself. Tis what I wanted to name our dog that we have right now.

Yeh for the new puppy, that we don't have yet, and we might not even buy...BUT WE WILL! BECAUSE THIS POOR PUPPY IS TOO BIG FOR HIS SMALL CAGE ANYMORE!!!

Sorry people that I haven't been on for like...*counts fingers* about 3-5 days I was busy busy busy! Anyways here to the sad news I have for you all:

I had a friend named Amanda Christensen. She and her family moved away from my church several years ago, and it broke many peoples hearts to see them go. Since then the family has gone through multiple problems. Marriage(sp?) issues, her younger sister went totally emo, and now this. Amanda is now dead. With her love of horses, she had to pay that price. She apparently fell off her horse and was kicked in the head, thus leaving her brain dead. My family and I are attending her funeral this Thursday, which sadly for you kirii and keychuu means probably no sleep over.

Sorry for 'killing the moment' and please pray for Amanda's family, because they've got through too much already.


Okay so the funneral was today. It's hard not to cry about it when you see a some one that used to be your friend dye their hair black and go totally emo. No this wasn't Amanda, but it was her younger sister, Audrey. Oh the fun we used to have. I hugged her so tightly today I felt like just taking her home and letting her spill out everything to me. Of course I couldn't do that, but I wish I could.

It really changes your whole perspective on 'wow she is so blessed. she got to see God before me' when you see the deceased person right in front of you. Her casket*sp?* was open the entire time, and it just made me cry. In my mind I was just waiting for her to laugh and jump out of her solemn bed. The sadest part is that she was wearing the dress she was going to wear to Homecoming.

Several people wrote poems about her, and they were all equally beautiful. I might be writing a story about the last few days occurances. It should turn out very nicely.

Just a few things about Amanda:
-She was inocently wild *more so that I will ever be XD*
-She was randomly beautiful
-She was not CRAZY
-She loved horses
-She loved her younger sister/they were basicly best buds
-She is going to be greatly missed.

Guess what you silly peoples! So I have this camera that I've been saving up for about three months now, and it cost a whopping $563. Ouch. The camera is this: Cannon EOS Rebel XT with 8 megapixels. Wowzers. Well on the 5th of September 2007, the camera of my dreams ish now mine. SCREAM PEOPLE SCREAM! I will be posting a picture of my baby. DETAILS

My parents surprised me with my camera on the 5th.
They emptied my savings and took my $200 I already had in teh bank and went and bought it online.

Now my next project to save up for is....TELEPHOTO LENS!!!!!!!!!

I just got finished watching the latest Danny Phantom movie, . It was absolutely amazing!!! Spoiler Warning

Danny and Sam are a couple!!! Danny's parents know that he's Danny Phantom!!! And the WORLD KNOWS!!! That is just way too much to take in an hour. And let us not forget that Valerie is a good girl now?! Wow they must live in happyvile.

When I saw Danny and Sam kiss I jumped out of my seat and squealed like a little girl who had just got a pony. Wow oh wow!!! I am so satisfied.

BUT there is the thing hindering in my brain, was that a finale to the show? Did they make everything good so they could end the series? If that is the case, they did a great job with ending it. I am proud of the series and I hope they play reruns all day long.

I think that finale was a great one because if fixed any loose ends that were just hanging there driving the fans INSANE.

I don't know when, and I don't know how, but a fellow deviant has died. A sad thing was, his art was amazing. The poor soul was . His art form was drawing super heros, atleast that's what you can tell by looking through his vivid gallery. I wish I could have gotten to know him, because he seemed like a wonderful, optimistic artist with a passion. His proffesion on his page is Procrastinator, I just hope he didn't forget to do one thing that is very important in anyone's life. I hope he knew God. As do I wish for you all.

So I just got the results for the Jostens Photo Contest. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything. Again. So yes I am very depressed right now because I really really wanted to win atleast Honorable Mention. But nothing was given to me. Oh well there is always other contests right? Right. I went through so much just to get the guy in the green shirt's signature and his parents' signatures. You had to do that in order to enter. Had to have the photo subjects permission. This green dude went to the opposite school and so I had to go there while taking pictures with the yearbook camera and try to find the people I needed. Annoying much.

It's that time of year again! Old ladies are putting the finishing touches on their quilts, teenagers are taking their final shots, and toddlers are starting their cute popsicle stick house crafts. The fair is TWO WEEKS away! I'm entering sooooo much this year. I'm entering:

In other words: one person in the whole catagory doesn't get first place. There could be 3 first places or 10. It doesn't matter. And you also get paid for your winnings ^^.

Hola senoritas and senors! Just got back from camp. Had a bad time the first few days, but then God just touched me in great ways on Thursday. I've been praying for God to tell me what my purpose was in life, aka my calling in my church. So in the middle the the worship songs in chapel @ around 11:30 pm (we stay up for a really long time) God just put one man's name on my heart. He actaully said to me in his voice, "Saul." So I went to go look up the man named Saul in my Bible. All I knew he was a king, but I didn't know how he became the king. IF YOU ARE LAZY JUST GO STRAIGHT TO THE END W/ THE COPY IN BOLD.

Anyway in the Bible I read the two chapters focused on Saul. Some one who was a strong supporter of God, or we call them prophets, was in the town that Saul was in. Saul was looking for some donkeys that his father had lost three days before. So he and his servant couldn't find the donkeys and Saul was about to give up, but the servant told him about Samuel, the prophet. So they went to Samuel to ask if he could help them go in the right direction of the donkeys. Now earlier that day, Samuel got a message from God saying, "The king to rule these people is coming this afternoon." So when Sameul saw Saul, he knew he was the one. Samuel greeted Saul and his servant and told Saul that he would be staying and eating at his table that night. *a good thing and a great honor*

Saul, just looking for his donkeys, is a little uncomfortable. He came from a tribe that was small and didn't have many resources. So he questioned why he was the one. Hours past and now Samuel is talking with Saul on the roof of his house, telling him about what God told him.

The next morning Saul and his servant were all ready to go, but Samuel told Saul to stay for a little while longer and his servant to go ahead. "Stay here so I may give you a message from God."

Okay now that all that explaing is done, God told me to stay in my seat and wait for a messager from him. *points to bold* I know, he made me read that whole chapter in the Bible, just to read the last sentance. *giggle* I love God. ANYWAY my youth pastor walked over to me and sat in the chair next to me. Now at first I thought it was this weird stalker guy that had been following me around at camp because he liked me, so I was praying really hard for him to go away. But then I heard Pastor Vaughns voice *my youth pastor for those of you that need help* and I looked over and sighed in relief. He told me::: "God was telling me that you have a special purpose only you can do."

Man! You must have known how well I felt right there and then. I praised God so much that night. And I didn't cry be proud my people because I cried a lot that week. Just because you do XD.
