Tomorrow: School, art club, first tae kwon do lesson, and of course more homework.

Also have a few side projects I want to accomplish...

Therefore, no time or motivation for art.

I guess it'll only get worse, though. At least I had fun typing my English essay (Eragon vs. HDM critique )

Anyway, complaining aside, I'm doing decently if a bit tired, and I either have slight allergies or a cold coming on, but luckily my medicine appeared to prevent symptoms from really showing up today. I managed to finish the concept art for our game and fit in a bit of work on my map today, too. I really want to still do Tae kwon do but I don't really know how to go about signing up, and so I'm just waiting around for all my clubs to start now.

I want to work on my cosplay... but time, money, materials, and sewing inexperience restrict me. Guh.

On the bright side, the coming months offer tantalizing things... (Trials+Tribulations, new seasons of House and Grey's, GS artbook, SSBB, possibly TP/PH, cons, etc.) And I'm rereading His Dark Materials, which somehow has buried itself at the very top of my favorite book list after rereading/writing that essay on it. <3 <3 <3

GAMES
I'd been playing Rune Factory pretty obsessively beforehand, but as all my lovely IM buddies should know, Gyakuten Saiban 3 (Phoenix Wright 3~) came out officially today, but the ROM came out 4 days ago. THEREFORE I've basically been ODing on PW for the last few days. I'm on case 5, and well, at the height of fandomness, so you might expect some further PW fanart in my gallery if I get in the mood to draw.

LIFE
Six flags last Sunday with my CTY buddies (I missed them so much ) was loads of fun, and I hope my trip with Diane and Carolyn on Mon/Tue should be too Otherwise... I've been weighed down by my AP WH assignment and community service blah. But I did get new glasses~ Yay~

I'm also greedily keeping an eye out for items for my Ema Skye cosplay for next year (she's the one on the left~ And in my icon. XD). The glasses, watch, bag, pins, ID card (but I can fashion that myself), and maybe even a nice bottle to serve as luminol would all be nice... But I'm sure I can find that around the house somewhere. XD I have nearly a whole year to prepare though~

Around three weeks until Chem Camp now. I don't really mind going since I don't have much to do over the summer... Maybe I'll get a job next year or something? In the meantime, though, I have nothing to do. <__< I need things to do and places to go! But I'll probably get my braces off Wednesday, and visit the hole~

As for art, as usual, I've been drawing... some. Just not as much as when I was in school. If I like anything enough, I might get some pieces up~ I always feel like doing fanart for every random game I start playing/anime I start watching. XD

(On that note, Code Geass is an anime made of win.)

I finally uploaded a new piece to my gallery! Of course, I get to be critical of it now. XD Next goal: To actually learn to do backgrounds.

Life is nicer now that my projects are nearly done and school isn't being mean anymore, not to mention the last dregs of cold are leaving me. Although I still don't like the end of the year, no more horrendous sports as of yet in PE, just enough relaxation in school to be fine, and fun afterschool. So it's all good.

By the way... any NY-ers know of good places to buy anime-related stuff in NYC besides the Hole and Kino? There's a certain person I have to pick up a gift for for her birthday...

Actually, regarding that, I haven't had a b-day party in who knows how long. I was thinking of having one this year, but like no one can come to birthday parties in the middle of the summer. Ah well.

I just took my Chinese midterm today PLUS the weekly test, and I must say my brains are fried from it, not to mention it killed ALL motivation today for me to work on just about anything, so I managed to procrastinate for an entire day. Yay. Why do I have to be a typical smartaznkid, anyway?
-English. I hate English. And projects. And [insertnameoflearningspecialisthere].

Happy phun things:
-I've gotten a lot of drawings done...! But only one of them is inked, too lazy to borrow the Copics and scan, and the rest suck. Darn. XD
-I got a 21" monitor! It's hugemongus, and so sharp. <3 And Kneaz aka Knezpez aka Gina provided me with a lovely stock of gigantic Okami wallpapers (1600x1200) so I actually have something to use. A bit of quick Photoshop work fixed it to my 1680x1050. XD I also got a new video card and an mp3 player, since my mp3 phone is crapping out lots. Looks like I won't be buying anything else for a long time though. <___<

My friend came over on Friday and we played DDR and stuffs and she slept over. After my horrible SHP test at Columbia on Friday, she and my sister and my dad left for Boston. In the meantime though, break has been pretty fun~ The past day or two has been spent doing just about nothing, which is alright by me, but the beginning was exciting enough. But I shall play both and return them next time~ I've also been playing IaMP (Touhou) and probably will play RO to pass the time along with homework, as the parents are going off to DC and I'll be stranded at home for the next two days.

And I already set up the time with my friends, and I was really looking forwards to it, especially since we didn't get into Comic Con and I can't go to Otakon. Bah. I'm just going to ask my science teacher about it more, and if I can't test on another date, just damn the whole thing.

In other news, I watched up to the most recent episode of House~ <333 I have thus been Converted into a generic rabid House fangirl. But, with a general lack of episodes to stimulate the fandom, It shall only appear sporadically~ The blooper reel is awesome though.

Anyways~ My newest aspiration is to go to the Palisades Kinokuniya and buy shiny new merch. Now to just gather up a random gang to invade with, haha.

On another note, I WILL be uploading some new stuff very soon, I promise (possibly within the next few minutes if I feel so inclined). Hopefully including a DI and webcam piccy sometime, I plan to just scatter random stuff representing all my fandoms on my desk and snap a photo. XD Most of the drawings will be shuffled into scraps since I don't want to clutter up my gallery too much with only average crap that's mostly the same thing over and over again, though.

Ummm. Once I get my course assignment info in the mail and bring it to the head of the science dept., I think I can get approved to skip chem next year and take physics, since I'm taking an enrichment chem program thing over the summer... Hopefully I won't feel totally alone as the only sophomore there, haha. XD

D: On the upside, I finished season 2 of House and am now watching Season 3~ All in order~ House <3 And I'm finally getting started on my Hinamori Momo cosplay, from Bleach. The Hakama might be difficult, but by employing parental help I think I can get at least a halfassed cosplay done by Anime Boston. XD

So, everyone else seems to be on vacation. D: I'm lonelyyy (though I do get to go to NY Comic Con with my friend Gina, from Stuy, next Saturday, which should be cool, and now I have moneys to spend~!). Anyone alive and willing to hang out with Little Ivy over break?

Let's see... I have one work in progress that I may or may not ever finish, but hope to: RO TaeKwon Master~

Fun/productive weekend~ I got some stuff I needed for school and a new battery for my phone, went to see a movie and stuff with some friends, had an optometrist and orthodontist appointment, visited relatives and went to the Hole in the Ground in Chinatown! It's so very leet~ I snatched up a 10th Division Bleach packpack in honor of the ever-awesome Hitsu, for just $10. I plan to go back soon, since they have the sandals I need for my cosplay, but I didn't get to take a good look if they would work well yet.

I got hooked on The Sims 2, and Ragnarok Battle Offline, AND House, but I need to cut back on all three now... Sigh... XD

Regents week was fun, but now that it's over I have to focus~

I'm trying to draw guys now (and more different poses)... And it's not exactly working. They all either end up looking either the same or feminine. And everything I draw looks really young. There's no way I can draw adults. On the plus side, though, I like doodling costumes, and I have to say I rather like some of the ones I've come up with. XD

I met up with some friends from NYC today, which was very fun. We went to Kinokuniya and saw the awesomest DN merchandise~ I was pretty tempted to buy the DN Shitajiki calendar, but it was $25 so I refrained. They also had a pretty awesome collection of manga, DVDs and anime t-shirts. Lacking in the poster department... but they had a good amount of DN stuff so I was happy. It kinda makes me sad that there's nowhere I can really just go off to on weekends easily, though. I wish we lived in a more convenient town. D:

XD It's second quarter now in my freshie year, my first quarter report card came in today. I got high honor roll, so I'm happy. I'm not doing too well in English though, I got an 82 on my last test so I'll have to try hard if I want to get into Honors next year. I discovered that a lot of you people have DAs, so I suppose I'll watch away (though I'm still fairly new to the DA world since I never really got into it).

Artwise, I've still been drawing and CGing of course, but not really finishing anything. I'm currently working on a simple chibi piece for fun (which I'll probably upload later if I remember) since I'm still not pleased enough with my CG/drawing skills to attempt a fullsize yet. But maybe soon~ I went through my gallery and purged a few of the uglier things, so I'm basically starting from scratch again.

The days slip by~ I love high school. Middle school seems dinky now. *procrastinates busily--somehow...*
