I have been playing Rune factory 2 since christmas day and I'm IN LOVE with it! I even have some RF 2 fan art that I will be posting soon. I did notice something though... There are no Rune Factory clubs in DA.. I mean we have harvest moon clubs but not RUNE FACTORY.

I'm thinking of starting one in the future, let me know what ya think ^_^ I'm currently on staff with the hinata fc and it's a blast, especially with the holiday contest we just had. I really wana start a rune factory club and put some energy towards that.

This year was the year of the rat which is actually my year... but just because it's your year doesn't mean it's going to be a GREAT year. It's usually a little harder when it's your year, it's sorta like a test to represent how strong you are. Like my friend Yen who was born year of the monkey and was in 2 car accidents that year. It's usually a year to show what you are made of. Not for anything but I'm kinda glad it's almost done (In January 26) so year of the ox... I welcome you, good riddance to the rat!

I was laid off twice! thanks to the economy, first job didn't really care much for, but I really liked my second one. But it's ok, at least I got an awesome marketing/PR internship in a showroom on 39th st in NYC. I'm really looking forward to it!

I was living on my own in Harlem with such a great roommate who is now one of my best and closest friends, but I had to leave because the landlord kept raising the rent, so I couldn't afford it anymore. I now live with my mom and her boyfriend...I hated it at first because I detest relying on others, but at least I'm finally working on my relationship with my mom, and her bf is such a great guy. because of them I don't worry about how am I going to survive next week, or what am I going to eat. I'm so grateful.

Living in NY is hard. Especially with student loans... I came out here because I wanted to make something of myself, but I sorta felt like I was such an epic failure with my jobs and living situations. But when I look at it.. It was a year of progress... I learned a lot of new things about myself and character flaws that I'm working on I feel that my shortcomings will build personality and I have a good feeling good things are going to happen this coming year.

In 2008

-My boyfriend moved to NY to be with me and I'm so happy! In 09 we're going on 7 years of knowing eachother.

-I got a dog and a cat, the dog was mine and the cat was my moms, but the dog ended up being closer to my mom and the cat is closer to me LOL I never wanted the cat but now I love that lil f*cker so much!

-I was able to afford my rent and expenses and still go to 5 conventions this year!!

-I made SO MANY awesome friends this year! from work and anime conventions (DA friends, nyc anime meetup and PVN as well). My anime friends are going to make up for my family at my wedding lol when I get married wer' having a cosplay wedding reception. So if anyone wants to come.. ya gotta cosplay! XD they are like my family and I love them! If it wasn't for them I'd be so lost. I'm thankful and grateful for all the things that have happened to me in 2008, I am also grateful for the people that are in my life!

I heard that the year of the ox brings a more tranquil time. Any changes that took place last year will have brought quite a transformation into my life. I will be able to come to terms with all that has gone before, relax in the present and then decide on what I really want to do with my future. ^_^

I wish everyone an epic new year! (and more amazing art!)

Has anyone heard about the new RF game!!! It looks sooo awesome! We even have some new bachelorettes! There is one that looks like Mei and she's a samurai! There's even a kooler looking Torrie!! (looks like her but without glasses.)

A while back I did a drawing of them in their bathing suits

and then showed me this scan!! lol I was close when it came to the "bathing suit" idea!!

One thing I remember when I was young was trying to sleep it off... and you know when you try to sleep nausea off you start to hallucinate, when I was little I would see elfs turning pages in a book... and everypage they turned I felt sicker and sicker.. well Today I saw characters of naruto turning pages of that infamous book i once saw as a child. lol man I don't mind hallucinating just not when I'm sick...

It was the worse feeling being sick on a day like today... I didn't even have an appetite to eat thanksgiving dinner
but on a funny note I did feel a little better when Rick Astley rick rolled everyone at the macy's parade lol

My family all wondered if I was pregant, (I'm not) they got excited but I crushed their dreams when I told them I wasn't lol then I got the whole speech of (you have a wonderful boyfriend and your are 24 years old.. what are you waiting for. Yea... I had to sit through that..

eh... today has not been a good day, In fact I think I need to get off the comp now because I feel more coming out

So i wanted to cosplay as Konoha gakuen Hinata, which is school girl hinata from the second ending from shippudden for friday at otakon and the lady sent me to wrong costume... meaning she must have sent my costume to someone else lol

I think its hilarious... and the only reason why I'm not freaking out is because I already have my original shippudden costume.. I was just hoping to get a break from wearing the hot jacket in August.

Well I don't want the costume anymore because honestly I have no intention on wearing it after otakon... I might not be able to go to NY anime fest because of work... so by then the this costume will no longer be of interest for me... so I simply want my money back... and shes gona get some serious serious negative feedback... and not just one... but two negative feedback... cause I know the other person is gona be pissed that she got the wrong costume too...

so my bf gets a call from someone in virginia, he picks up and the guys is like... " hi um i got your gf's costume" lol and my bf is like " and yeeeaaa I got your gf's costume"
so the maker forwarded our addresses and now we will ship it to eachother... lol whats funny about it is that the girl who got my costume will be at otakon too lol

so it looks like I might wear it after all.. provided it gets here on time"

if everything works out ok... I will give the maker neutral feedback due to the fact that now we will end up having to spend more money to ship it!!!

When Your Degree Means Squat
So what the hell are you supposed to do with a degree that doesnÂt mean shit in the real world?! If youÂre reading this, you know who you areÂ youÂre the optimistic creatives that chose to major in Fine Art Painting, Glass-blowing, Creative Writing, Video GamingÂ You are one of the few that had a fantastic time in college because you were doing what you loved. But now youÂre out in the real world with a degree that does little but help you apply to Graduate school. What now?

I know first-hand what it feels like to have a ÂuselessÂ degree: I went to school for Film! Anyone in the film industry will tell you flat out that a film degree means nothing in Hollywood Â in fact, most people in the industry equate a degree with a pompous, know-it-all attitude, meaning that itÂs actually preferred that you didnÂt go to film school! This, unfortunately, is the situation for many college graduates today who chose to follow their heart to university and now find themselves competing amongst thousands of applicants for a scant few jobs. ItÂs not an easy scenario.

My first bit of advice is something that I still have to remind myself some days:

Quit your bitchin!
It can be a real kick-in-the-pants to realize that your degree is not doing much for your job hunt. But the next time you receive a job rejection letter or no response, for that matter, remind yourself that you were one of the brave souls who chose to get an education in a field that truly meant something to you, regardless of the uncertainty in the job market. Which brings up my next point Â are you really surprised? DidnÂt your high school guidance counselor, parents, and friends all tell you that it would be challenging finding a job with a Ceramics degree? In fact, didnÂt your professors tell you the same thing? If youÂre like me, you ignored them all and thought ÂNot me. Everyone else will have it rough but IÂll get the job.Â RightÂ

You chose your path, no one else. You can sit there and feel sorry for yourself that all of your buddies that graduated with Engineering degrees have a job and you donÂtÂ or you can get over it and get creative. My suggestion is the latter. If itÂs any consolation, remember that the U.S. Department of LaborÂs annual study on the job outlook for college graduates STILL concludes that having any degree at all almost guarantees shorter periods of unemployment and an overall higher income throughout your life. So relax!

Next: Get Creative!
There is always, always a wayÂ it just depends on how hard you're willing to work, how much time you're willing to put in, and what youÂre willing to sacrifice!

You need to first determine your career goals: What is your dream job? What are the appropriate steps to get you there? What can you do in the meantime that assist with getting you there? How badly do you want it and how hard are you willing to work?

The answers to these questions are crucial in figuring out a plan of action Â and sometimes the answers might not be as obvious as you think. Three years ago, I was fairly certain that I wanted to be a documentary cinematographer Â indeed, a highly specialized and competitive field. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to do just that on a handful of different film projects. But it took me a lot of contemplation and honest self-assessment to realize that my heart was not in it Â I had, for a moment, my Âdream jobÂ Â and I didnÂt truly love it. I was afraid to admit it because it meant that I didnÂt really know what I wanted. Admitting that you still donÂt know what you want to do after obtaining a massive college debt is a very scary thing. But youÂll save yourself many years of potential frustration if you admit it now instead of later Â itÂs much easier to change directions now than after youÂve trapped yourself in a career corner.

Once youÂve determined your major career goal, no matter how many years it may take to get there, you need a plan. What little steps can you take now to propel you in the right direction? The obvious answer is an entry-level job in the field. But if youÂre reading this, my guess is that there are few jobs and youÂre having a hell-of-a-time landing one.

The second best way to get an IN is to Â ugh Â work for free. Yes, the intern. It sucks and no one wants to do it, BUT itÂs the easiest way to show off what you can do, get a foot in the door, and begin building a network. So i just woke up from a weird dream that kakashi was invlovled in,
I dreamed that he had another challenge with guy sensei and i'm guessing this is like what? 50-51 or something like that, i forgot, but this time kakashi lost, and because he lost the deal was he had get a bob haircut like guy sensie's and lee LOL so i don't know why but i was walking down the halls of my junior highschool ( and im college right now why i dreamed of junior high is beyond me) Im walking down the halls and lee runs up to me and he's like hey jolie-san did you see Kakashi's new haircut, i'm like umm no ..and hes all excited and says "well go check it out!!" and then he runs off to the boys bathroom
So i walk up to kakashi's door and i start knocking, and then kakashi opens the door but he is sorta hiding behind it, and im like hey kakashi i have a question for you, and he says well what is it? I said well this question i have to have eye contact with you ( to try and pry him out from behind the door) and then he finally steps out from behind and i see his haircut! and i could tell that he try to style it back up, but because it was cut so short it just wasnt working LOL and i held my laughter in and I say " well um, wow, y-you look interesting and ...different , then i gave him the nice guy pose with my fingers crossed behind my back!!!! and then poor kakashi blushes he then says "you make me feel funny" and he blushes more, LOL i said ok well i forgot the question that i had to ask you and i walked away!!!! then i woke up!!!
