2>One thing I have also learned in my nearly 32 years on this planet....do NOT laugh at someone's demise unless you would like a dose of the same or worse!!!

3> I believe there is an entity a lot bigger than any of us out there, whether it be god or whoever you believe in. There is a force regardless and I personally try to live in harmony with the entity. Who could look at all the creation in this world, art included, and think some big force isn't in charge of it all???

4> Regardless of what you think, you do not know everything about everything. Most people don't know a 10th of anything. When you think you know it all, it just shows how much you really don't know.

5> There is no shortage of stupidity in this world!!!

6> And last but not least....You learn something every day! every second of the day really...even when you are sleeping your brain is working. The day a person stops learning is the last day on this earth for them.

How is everyone else doing?

I start physical therapy on Dec. 27, and will probably get a cortizone injection. If that doesn't work, then we may have to go to orthascopic surgery.

Then there is my neck...apparently there is a nerve pinched in my neck and my muscles are spasming because of a whiplash injury(that is best we can tell..I was in a car accident back in march) That will also be treated with therapy...if it doesn't do better, then he will order an MRI of my neck to see if there is other damage we can't see on the x-rays.

So, while there is good news, I'm still hurting and am trying to decide whether or not to even try school. I don't want to get hung up in school and say the thearpy doesn't work and he has to do surgery, It would be my luck that would happen after the drop dates...lol. He told me to try therapy for a few days and see if it helps before deciding about school...but that was if I could into therapy next week...I won't get in until December 27, and tuition has to be paid no later than Jan. 2...hmmm cutting that close on whether it is doing good or not...lol Well...that is what is going on here,

December 29...

I started PT on Wednesday...The goal at first is getting more range of motion in my neck and shoulder, then we will work on the strength. My therapist figured out through process of elimination that my first rib is too high...explains why I hurt so bad around the collar bone area. I am so sore!!! They tested my hand strength and my left and right hand are about the same, when my right hand should be about 10 lbs higher. I am awfully weak on the right side and cannot hold my arm up for very long.

I am able to work on some art for short amounts of time. I have decided to stay out of school this semester, even if PT helps, I have a month to go in it and school starts Jan 8. I would not possible be able to sit and write as much as I need to right now, and I cannot afford to fail the two classes I need. Not to mention I would be on pell grant and if I had to drop out of school after the time to get refunded, then I would have to pay that money back. Anyone that has been to college on pell grants knows how that is. Hopefully I will be able to return to school for summer semester.

Anyhoo...I hope all is well with all my buds here on DA, I appreciate the encouragement and love I fell on here!

I have been having some shoulder problems that are keeping me from being on the computer too long at a time. I have had a MRI done and a nerve conduction test(boy that was intereting) I will know Thursday what all is going on. So far, we know I have a bone spur in my right shoulder, and the MRI was to see if I have a torn rotator cuff or not. The nerve test was done because I loose some feeling in my right hand, the neurologist seems to think it is coming from the main nerve in my neck. As an artist this makes life really difficult for me.

I am in college studying visual communications and graphic design. I am still working on my pre- req's. I have but two classes left on that before I can move on to the fun stuff. I will know Thursday as well whether or not I will be able to go to school in January. I cannot sit and write for long periods of time and one of the classes I have to take is pre-calculus...can't even get someone to take notes in that class..I would never learn anything...lol

I wanted to let all my buds know what is going on. If I don't answer your comments right away, I still read them everyday...It just hurts to be on here very long.


Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday, I am taking my painful arm and going to help my adopted mom clean her house...(not MoonlitWitch for those that know she is my mom...she is my biological mom ) Its a real blast learning to clean things and do things mostly left handed...lol

My first featured Artist is Who also happens to be my mom! I love her work, and not just because she is my mom...I think she is very talented, and very humble as well!

The first piece I chose is Suspended in Time
I have always been a fan of abstract anything, this is abstract , yet has a lot of depth



The second piece is Deep inside the Canyon.
This reminds me of the Rocky Mountains out west, some of themost beautiful mountain views you could imagine!!!


The third is The sky is Falling.
This photo is a perfect balance in reflection...I love nature shots and sky shot as well...this has both with great meaning
