Well... she wasn't supposed to be here for another month, but our daughter Teagan Renee was born last week on the 8th!!
Being 6 weeks early, we were both pretty worried... but the labor went smooth (hour and a half), and she came out weighing 5 lbs 6 oz... a very good weight for being over a month premature! She was born Wednesday morning at 3:14 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY. They kept her there for about 5 days, merely for observation and to get her jondis level down. She had no serious problems whatsoever! Very lucky for a preemie. If you want to see her hospital picture, go here, then choose June 8th, and click on Teagan G. The password is gartner.

I've taken a whole lot of pictures since she was born, and have already posted a few on devart, and will proabably put some more up soon.

Now that I've graduated, I can start working at a real job! Well.. kinda... I'm working at an Italian restaurant now, but only until Kimber graduates. After that.. well, I still don't know what kind of job I'll be getting.

Man, this is gonna be an awesome year for new albums! A few of my favorite bands are realeasing new CD's later this year:

Tool: I'm really excited about this one! Its been 5 years since "Lateralus", the average timespan between Tool albums. From what I've heard form the band's website [link] this album is gonna be more musically complex and innovative than the last one.. meaning THIS ONE IS GONNA BE FUCKING SWEET!! They havn't said when it'll be coming out, but I'm guessing mid-summer.

Dave Matthews Band: I've always been a big DMB fan, and I can't wait to hear how this one is gonna sound. The band has a new producer, who has done mostly R&B stuff. If you go to the band's new album website [link] there's some video previews of how the album is being made. Looks like they're doing things in a whole new way. Exciting!!

Sigur Ros: My favorite Icelandic band is working on a new album following the indescribably beautiful work "( )" (yep, thats the title). This a fucking awesome band! And I would really reccommend listening to their music! [link] Especially "( )" which is such an emotional journey to listen to.

Weezer: Yeah, its about time they followed up on Maladroit, which was a really great album. They say the album is about 95% done, and should be out in May.

Well, I had a very productive Christmas break.

Kimber and I got to Phoenix on the 17th, she had never been any more west then St. Louis, so this was gonna be a strange looking place for her. She said she had never seen so many cacti and palm trees.

We had our wedding on the 23rd in my grandparent's backyard in Scottsdale. It was really nice. It was 60 and sunny out, only about 15 people were there, and my grandparent's backyard is really neat with all types of flowers and plants. I'll upload some pictures from that later.

Today, I uploaded some pictures from our honeymoon trip through northern Arizona. We went to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and a little Navajo ruin in the Camp Verde valley. I was planning on going to more places, but the rain kept us from staying on the road too long.

So now we're back in Kentucky... I hate this shit-hole of a state. I hope we move to something like montana after she graduates.
I'm gonna be all alone for the next 3 weeks while Kimber study's abroad in Paris this month.
Sigh.... hopefully that'll go by fast...
