I didn't know the guy all that well, what with him living in a different city, but this is just completely tragic for me and my family. I pray he rests in peace..

EDIT: Just learned the cause of death. Apparently he was drunk and sat on a glass coffee table, where a piece of glass was embedded into his back and lower leg artery. He then went down into his basement where he fell back against a wall and died all alone in his house. Even if someone was there with him, it only takes a few minutes to bleed to death after an artery is severed, so he probably would have died on the way to the hospital.

What a terrible way to die...

Since everyone and their mothers are voicing their opinions on this game, I figured after watching this new video (and loving the song that everyone else hates) I should voice my opinions.

I am probably one of the few people who is looking forward to this game, although that is probably because I'm a die hard Sonic fan. It looks very much like classic Sonic and because it's being made by Dimps, the same people behind Sonic Rush, the odds are in favor for this being a good Sonic game.

However, I do have a couple problems with the game. The 2D aspect is awesome, but the 3D portion worries me. It feels like it will be similar to 06's Super Sonic Speed segments, which means death-death-and some more death. The werehog Sonic is a silly idea, and the werehog segments seem more puzzle and combat based. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just doesn't fit into the Sonic idea.

tl;dr: I'm excited for the game, but still a little cautious. Even though I'm sure I'll love it even if it does suck.

PS. Boo to the people who say it sucks without even giving it a chance. Stop hating and start waiting.
